To develop more reliable diagnostic measures for traumatic pericarditis in ruminant, fluctuations of serum total LDH activities and LDH isoenzymes fractions were investigated in artificially induced pericarditis of Korean native goats. Experimental group showed the tendency of increase serum LDH total activities. Effect of LDH isoenzymes on serum total LDH activities were high with decreasing order of LDH$_1$> LDH$_3$ > LDH$\sub$5/ > LDH$_2$ > LDH$_4$ and LDH$_1$ was the hightest among them. From these findings, increase of serum total LDH activities and LDH$_1$ fraction was thought to be important in traumatic pericarditis.

One four-month-old female shepherd mongrel dog with chief complaints of abdominal distension and dysponea was referred. The authors performed physical examination, hematological examination, X-ray examination, exploratory laparotomy, electrocardiography and angiography as antemortem investigation in addition to postmortem examination. This patient revealed complicated congenital cardiac anormaly including patent ductus arteriosus, both atrial and ventricular hypertrophy, distension in the base of the pulmonary artery, pulmonary stenosis, aortic insufficiency, patent foramen ovate and coronary arteriovenous fistula.

In this study, for the establishment of the performance evaluation methods and the quality control standards of durability recovery method, the quantitative exposure data by long term exposure test under the coast is accumulated and analyzed Investigating and evaluating the result of exposure test at 30 month of exposure age under the coastal environment, carbonation and salt damage are not happened at all but the difference in electric potential are found. Therefore, it is considered that the reinforcement corrosion at replacement with repair material are caused by active-passive corrosion macrocells.

수중에서와 같이 전자기파의 사용이 곤란한 환경에서 정보의 전달 방법으로 초음파를 사용하는 것이 일반적이다. 그러나 기존의 방법은 음파의 전파 경로 상에 있어서 잡음, 온도, 음속 등의 환경에 많은 영향을 받기 때문에 정확한 정보의 전달이 곤란한 경우가 있다. 본 연구에서는 전기적 용량으로 특성을 제어할 수 있는 2층 구조 압전 트랜스듀서에 있어서 전기적 용량 변화에 따른 공진 모드간의 효율 비의 변화를 이용하여 전파 경로 상의 환경 변화에 독립적인 원격 물리 계측법을 제안하고 그 가능성을 확인하였다.

트랜스듀서의 삽입손실과 임펄스 응답특성 등을 정확히 해석하기 위해서는 대상 주파수 대역에 대한 특성을 알아야한다. 방사임피던스는 주파수의 함수이기 때문에 이러한 특성을 결정하는 중요한 요소이다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 정방형 방사면을 가지는 트랜스듀서 이용하여, 무한배플에서의 방사임피던스를 고려한 삽입손실을 이론적으로 계산하고 무한배플로 근사할 수 있는 모델을 제작하고, 이를 실험으로 확인한 결과 좋은 일치를 보이고 있어 본 연구에서 제안한 해석법의 타당성을 확인하였다.

I already wrote a thesis about A Study of Ideologies and Stylistic Features of the Oral Narratives in a Collection of Lee, Duck Moo's Works(ChungJangKwanJunseo)" in The Classical Literature and Education Vol.11, (2006). At that time I held over a study of figure's episodes. So this essay is a series of the thesis. In this essay, I described his critical ideas about the figure's episodes of other people. I classified as the gentry's episodes and the common's episodes, and ones more classified these as the Confucian's moral episodes and the oddity's strange episodes. And I studied the narrative principles and features of narrative structure. He asked for a reasonal thinking attitude in the figure's episodes of other people. In his the gentry's episodes he indicated as a important value the constant attitude of propriety and dignity. The other hand, in his the common's episodes he thought importantly a practical act of the Confucian's moral. He showed man's equality and criticized the anti-practical attitude of the gentry group. In the oddity's strange episodes were focused on the super ability of figures in the both of groups. And then even though there are unreal or unreasonable contents in the oddity's strange episodes, he did not criticize. His such attitude was came out to take interest in unreal story like the Paesasopeum(稗史小品). The the narrative principles of his episodes are two types, one is a summary or a report type, the other is a descriptive of events type. the former was explained by narrater, the latter was described as the indirect or direct narration of the characters. In the structure of narrative in case a summary type were enumerated with the episodes, but in case a report or descriptive type of events were contrasted with characters. A story-telling way of figure's episodes borrowed from 'Jeon(傳)' or 'Yadam(野談)' genre. And a point of view in case a summary or a report type was consisted with a center of narrater, in case a descriptive of events type was consisted with a center of witness.

In order to identify the effects of the kainic acid in the retina kainic acid (120 nmol/$5{\mu}l$) were injected through the pars plana of the ciliary body into the duck eye ball at 7th day after hatching. The animals were sacrificed by decapitation on the 1st, 4th and 10th day after injection of the kainic acid. The specimen was processed for the light and electron microscopes respectively. The results obtained were as followings 1. The inner nuclear, inner plexiform and ganglion cell layers of the retina showed marked changes in all of the groups. 2. The cells in the inner nuclear layer showed marked degenerative changes of the organelles including the pyknoses and destruction of the nucleus on the 1st day after injection. These destructive changes of the cells were progressively disappeared until the 10th day after injection. 3. After injection of the kainic acid the neurites of the inner plexiform layer were swollen at the first, and thereafter those changes were gradually disappeared until the 10th day. 4. In the ganglion cell defected by the kinic acid, the enlargement and segmentation of the endoplasmic reticulum and pyknosis of the nucleus were-observed in all the groups, although the lipid droplets were only shown in the 4th day. From the above results, the evidence suggests that kainic acid gives to the toxic effect on the nuurons of the retina with exception of the photoreceptors.

The authors compared the basic characteristics of rural woman in relation to family planning for June 1967 and June 1969 in Kyung San County, Kyungpook Province, Korea. The statistics showed that these characteristics are gradually changing. The marriage age was slightly higher than the past year and the formal education of women increased. The ideal children number, and the gravidity and mortality rates decresed. At the same time the number of induced abortions, the knowledge of family planning, and the acceptance rate of contraception increased. These phenomena seem to follow the present worldwide trend.

The purpose of this study is to establish the analgesic effects of electroacupuncture for Korean native goat. Electroacupuncture was applied to the 6 Korean native goats. In 3 of them, rumenotomy was performed, and in the other 3, laparotomy was done. The analgesic induction time was 15 to 30 minutes. The acupoints used were Tian-ping (Celestial Peace, GV-5), Bai-hui (Hundred Meetings, GV-20), left 13th thoracic nerve and left 3rd lumbar nerve. Electroacupuncture was performed in lateral recumbency. Needles were inserted 1-2 cm deep, and connected to the electroacupuncture apparatus. The electrical stimulation condition was 30 Hz and 2-6 volts. Initially, the voltage of analgesia mode was maximized in each channel. And, the output was slowly reduced to the critical point that goats could tolerate without obvious discomfort or pain. Surgical operation was done successfully under electroacupuncture analgesia in 6 Korean native goats. In addition, the changes of temperature, heart rate and respiratory rate were studied during acupuncture analgesia. For 3 months after surgery, no experimental animals showed clinical problem in 6 Korean native goats.
