Optimum Designs of 2 Segment LED Reflectors for Various Light Output Distributions on the Surface of an LED Chip (LED 칩 표면 광량 분포 변화에 따른 2단 반사컵의 최적 설계)

  • It is important to control the beam pattern of an LED by the design of a reflector. The optimum conditions of the structure parameters for the 2 segment LED reflector are analyzed and compared as they vary depending on the various intensity distributions of light output on the LED chip surface. It is also interesting that combining various types of reflectors is possible to give several efficient beam patterns, such as the maximum intensity profile or relatively wide controllability of beam angle.

The effects of video quality by LED background image in the broadcasting lighting (방송조명에서 LED 배경화면이 영상품질에 미치는 영향 분석)

  • Recently, LED background image devices are used for the production of broadcasting programs. But the effective advantages of LED background image devices are not realized for good HD video quality because the correlations between lighting sources and LED background image devices are not analyzed yet. In this paper, we analyze the color change and light intensity that lighting sources and the light intensity ratio of LED background images influence on a subject, making use of equipments used in real broadcasting, and examine the correlations between HD video quality and the light intensity ratio of LED background images. As a result in this experiment, the video is most expressed having an 20[IRE] effect on a subject when the light intensity of LED background image is 6%. When the LED background image is light, the light and darkness of video is distorted and when the LED background image is dark, the colors of image are distorted.

  • In this paper, we constructed using a Cortex M3 microcontroller developed by ARM Inc. as a way to control the LED light more efficiently. And Using the short-range wireless communication by the Bluetooth communication method applied to control the LED light was configured to wirelessly control the wireless circuits. In this paper, users can easily download and easy to wirelessly control the LED lighting control circuit to design an Android application from Android-based smartphone so that you can control with your smartphone to have anyone to control the LED lighting control circuit wirelessly. If the LED lights radio control circuit is configured with the Cortex M3 in this paper is applicable to both indoor and outdoor and eco-friendly technology, is using LED driver to enhance the efficiency of the LED becomes stable voltage supply is made, the brightness of LED lighting control.

  • Generally, it is not easy to learn guitar fingering for beginner. In this paper, therefore, we attach LED to flat board of guitar to more easily teach the beginner and also implement LED control system that can connect ATmega 128 in order to drive LED attached to guitar. The guitar's flat board is connected with ATmega 128 as communication method of Zigbee. We also develop UI that easily can be learned code and playing for guitar, programmed by guitar fingering and perform the research for guitar fingering using LED.

  • This paper proposes high performance control of light emitting diode(LED) drive system for liquid crystal display(LCD) backlight. The CCFL(cold cathode fluorescent lamp)was used to a conventional LCD backlight. Due to improvement on luminous efficiency, long life and wide color gamut, LED has gradually substituted for CCFL as backlight. The backlight using LED is necessary to use many LED. For that reason, the LED backlight is using a lot of LED driving circuits. The many LED driving circuit is generated a current deviation between LED. Eventually, it is caused brightness deviation between LED. Therefore, this paper improves the current deviation using transformer and balancing capacitor to solve this problem. Also, for accurate and uniform brightness control, this paper is applied the artificial intelligent control to a dimming control. This paper is compared with conventional system, and validity of this paper proves through that result.

멀티롤 랜턴의 LED 배열에 따른 배광특성 분석

  • 항로표지는 해상에서 선박의 안전한 항행에 필수적인 요소이며, 현재는 LED를 광원으로 사용하는 등명기를 개발 및 사용하고 있다. LED 멀티롤 랜턴을 개발하여 항로표지의 표체조명, 교량표지, 방파제 표시등 등으로 개발하고하는 연구가 진행되고 있다. 이를 위하여 LED 멀티롤 랜턴의 내부 LED 배치에 따른 배광특성을 분석하였다. 본 논문에서 멀티롤 랜턴은 아크릴 환봉과 설치를 위한 금속재로 구성하였으며, 내부에 LED를 2열로 배치하였다. 최적의 설계를 위하여 아크릴 환봉을 투명한 것과 유백색인 것으로 구분하고 2열의 LED 모듈에 집광렌즈($45^{\circ}$, $60^{\circ}$, 미설치)에 따른 배광특성을 분석하였다. $60^{\circ}$ 집광렌즈를 사용한 경우의 시인효과가 우수하여 이를 바탕으로 LED 멀티롤 랜턴을 최종적으로 설계하였다. 투명 아크릴 환봉에 2열의 LED를 배치하고, $60^{\circ}$ 집광렌즈를 사용한 평판형 및 v형의 2종과 집광렌즈를 사용하지 않은 v형 1종으로 선정하고, 녹색과 홍색으로 제작하여 LED의 배열에 따른 배광특성을 본석하였다.

  • A new single-stage flyback power converter with PFC for electrolytic capacitor-less LED driver is proposed in this study. This method minimizes the peak-to-average ratio of the LED driving pulsating current by adding the LED driving current near the LED current valley area, as well as the third harmonic component injection into the input current. The reduced peak current value of the LED drive current minimizes the thermal stress of the LED itself, thereby increasing the reliability of the LED, as well as achieving a long lifetime. Simulation and experimental results show the usefulness of the proposed topology.

  • 500W급 LED 등명기는 고광력이 요구되므로 주로 고출력 LED 광원을 적용하고 있으며, 고출력 LED 광원의 안정적인 구동을 위하여 LED 광원을 제어하고 모니터링 할 수 있는 드라이버 회로개발이 필요하다. 또한 LED 등명기의 등질을 제어하기 위한 모터 제어기술이 동반되어 개발 되어야 한다. 이에 고출력 LED 광원을 안정적으로 구동할 수 있는 LED 드라이버를 설계하고 이를 모듈화하여 효율적인 제어가 가능한 LED 드라이버 모듈을 개발하였으며 LED 드라이버 모듈 및 모터를 제어하고 모니터링 할 수 있는 제어회로를 개발하였다.

  • 기존 LED(Light Emitting Diode) 백라이트 LCD(Liquid Crystal Display) TV 용 전원 장치는 다중출력 플라이백 컨버터를 사용하여 로직 보드, 영상 보드, LED 백라이트 등의 구동에 필요한 다양한 전원들을 생성, 공급한다. 특히, 기존에는 LED 백라이트의 구동을 위한 출력단에는 부스트 컨버터를 추가하여 LED 전류를 제어하였다. 따라서, 부스트 컨버터에 의한 부피 및 원가가 증가하는 단점이 있었다. 본 논문에서는 부스트 컨버터 없이 보조 스위치 하나만을 사용한 LED 구동회로를 이용하여 LED의 정전류 제어가 가능한 저 가격형 LED 구동회로의 비동기식 제어방법을 제안한다. 최종적으로 제안 회로를 32인치 LCD TV 용 LED 백라이트에 적용하여 그 실험 결과를 바탕으로 제안 회로의 타당성을 검증하였다.

  • According to recent technological developments in high-power LEDs, the stage lighting is one of most important areas to apply power LED system. Moving light for color rendering of stage uses the RGBW(red, green, blue, white) color mixing method. LED moving light system needs to have a wide range of dimming control as enough to operate at very low power. Also LED dimming system should not be induced color-shift and flicker in camera. This paper is experimentally verified the LED Moving Light driving circuit of 200Watt level designed to satisfy the above characteristics which applied the DC current-controlled and PWM mixed dimming method.
