초보자 프로그래밍 개발을 위한 e-Learning 콘텐츠 개발 (Development of the e-Learning Contents for the First Programming Course)

  • 무선 이동통신 기술과 하드웨어 기술 등의 발전과 멀티미디어 처리기술의 발전에 따라 개인 맞춤형 e-Learning서비스가 필요하다. 특히 처음 프로그래밍을 접하는 학습자에게 개인 맞춤형 e-러닝 콘텐츠는 반드시 필요하다. 즉 프로그램 개발 능력을 학습하기 위해 많은 반복적인 실습이 요구되며, 학습자 개인에 따라 다양한 학습 효과를 보여주기 때문이다. 따라서 본 논문에서는 프로그래밍을 처음 배우는 학습자에게 적합한 개인 맞춤형 서비스를 가능하게 하면서, 프로그래밍이 수행되는 과정을 시뮬레이션 형태로 보여주어 학습 효과를 극대화할 수 있는 e-러닝 콘텐츠를 개발하였다.

  • 본 논문에서 제안한 문화유산 체험학습에 최적화된 스마트폰 APP인 CHELS-App은 단순한 관광지안내 서비스를 벗어나 스마트폰을 활용하여 문화유산을 체험하고 제시되는 퀘스트를 통하여 미션을 즐기면서 학습과 관광을 동시에 체험할 수 있도록 구성하였다. CHELS-App은 세계문화유산으로 지정되어 있는 종묘를 대상으로 위치기반 서비스를 이용한 안내지도와 이벤트 푸쉬기능을 이용한 현장에서의 다양한 문화해설(해설, 사진, 퀴즈, 게임, 카툰)을 제공하고 이러한 체험을 통한 발도장 기능, 체험일지 작성 기능을 구성하였다.

백화점 판매원의 목표지향성과 성과에 미치는 판매관리자의 영향: 패션제품 판매원을 중심으로 (The Effects of Supervisors on Goal Orientations and Sales Performance of Department Store Salespeople)

  • This study investigated the effects of sales supervisors on salespeople's goal orientations and sales performance in fashion retail setting. Specifically, it examined: 1) the differences in salespeople's goal orientations by salespeople characteristics; 2) the effects of supervisor's behavioral orientations on goal orientations of salespeople; and 3) the effects of salespeople's goal orientations on performance. A total of 343 questionnaires collected from salespeople in various apparel and accessory selling departments at four department stores in Korean were analyzed. Variables included supervisor's behavioral orientations(end-results, activity and capability), salespeople's goal orientations(learning and performance), sales performance and salespeople characteristics. MANOVA revealed that three was no difference in goal orientations by salespeople characteristics except by selling department. Multiple regression analysis revealed that supervisor's end-result orientation affected salespeople's learning orientation and performance orientation while activity and capability orientations did not. The study suggests that for long-term performance supervisors and retail organizations need to develop various supervisory behaviors, stimulate learning demands of salespeople, and provide training programs to achieve the learning goal.

기하 학습을 위한 멀티미디어 타이틀의 개발과 적용 (Development and Application of a Multimedia Title for Geometry Learning)

  • 수학교육에서 기하교육의 주된 목적 중 하나는 기하학적 직관능력과 그것을 바탕으로 한 논리적인 추론능력을 향상시키는 것이다. 직관과 관련된 시각적인 요소는 기하의 교수학습에서 중요한 역할을 한다. 따라서, 본 연구는 시각적 요소에 대한 동적인 조작이 가능한 멀티미디어 타이틀을 개발하고 그 효과를 검증하는데 목적이 있다. 중학교 3학년 과정의 "피타고라스의 정리 및 그 활용"을 학습하기 위한 본 타이틀은 Toolbook으로 설계 및 구현하였으며 개별학습이 가능하고 학교 현장에 적용할 수 있다. 그리고 중학교 2학년을 대상으로 적용집단과 비교집단으로 구분하여 수업을 실시하고 학업성취도 평가와 설문조사를 실시하였다. 두 집단의 학업성취도를 SPSS를 사용하여 t-test를 실시한 결과 적용집단이 비교집단에 비하여 학업성취도가 높은 것으로 나타났으며, 시각적인 요소에 대한 동적인 조작 가능성의 제공은 학습자에게 매우 높은 학습효과를 지각하게 하고 지적 능력 향상에 도움이 되는 것으로 나타났다.

  • The starting point of knowledge generation and management is the enhancement of learning capability and capacity of organizational members. Organizational change for learning environment should be aligned with the change of organizational strategy, structure and processes. The study employed action learning methodology to constitute learning organization processes. The treatment effect to institute learning organization has been successful thanks to the members' zeal and consensus to change the processes. However, not every learning team has been so successful. Some cases complained time consuming where others expect to be helpful for their incentives. The researchers concluded that the most important point for success of the learning organization project should be the support of top management.

  • With rapid change and intensive competition in the global economy, the capability to capture, absorb, develop, and transfer new knowledge is a key organizational success factor. Through effective learning, companies are more likely to develop the innovation, quality, and responsiveness essential to meet the growing expectations of customers and the disruptive threats of competitors and new technologies. In the paper the role of technological innovation and its relationship to organizational learning in managing technology-based new products are examined. Several factors which can influence the rate and effectiveness of organizational learning are identified. Barriers to learning also are discussed. Finally, several managerial implications and propositions for future research on learning and technological innovation are advanced.

Solving Continuous Action/State Problem in Q-Learning Using Extended Rule Based Fuzzy Inference System

  • Q-learning is a kind of reinforcement learning where the agent solves the given task based on rewards received from the environment. Most research done in the field of Q-learning has focused on discrete domains, although the environment with which the agent must interact is generally continuous. Thus we need to devise some methods that enable Q-learning to be applicable to the continuous problem domain. In this paper, an extended fuzzy rule is proposed so that it can incorporate Q-learning. The interpolation technique, which is widely used in memory-based learning, is adopted to represent the appropriate Q value for current state and action pair in each extended fuzzy rule. The resulting structure based on the fuzzy inference system has the capability of solving the continuous state about the environment. The effectiveness of the proposed structure is shown through simulation on the cart-pole system.

  • There are two important things for the general purpose neural network processor. The first is a capability to build various structures of neural network, and the second is to be able to support suitable learning method for that neural network. Some way to process various learning algorithms is required for on-chip learning, because the more neural network types are to be handled, the more learning methods need to be built into. In this paper, an improved hardware structure is proposed to compute various kinds of learning algorithms flexibly. The hardware structure is based on the existing modular neural network structure. It doesn't need to add a new circuit or a new program for the learning process. It is shown that rearrangements of the existing processing elements can produce several neural network learning modules. The performance and utilization of this module are analyzed by comparing with other neural network chips.

The Effect of Customer and Competitor Market Sensing Capability on Business Performance of SMEs: An Empirical Study in Indonesia

  • The purpose of this study is to investigate and examine the role of specialized marketing capabilities (SMC) in mediating the relationship between customer sensing capability (CuSC) and competitor sensing capability (CoSC) with business performance (BP) at SMEs retail fashion in Indonesia. This study used 330 SMEs from ten regencies in Indonesia and examined the regression relationship between the four variables, SMC, CuSC, CoSC, and BP. Confirmatory factor analysis (CFA) was used to measure the validity and reliability of the construct used. For data analysis techniques, this study used structural equation modeling (SEM) with AMOS Version 22.0. This study found that SMC acts as a partial mediator in the relationship between CuSC and CoSC with SMC and BP. By examining the diverse literature on market sensing capability, marketing strategy, and BP, this study offers a unique analysis of market learning and its effects on SMC and BP in Retail Fashion SMEs in Indonesia. Furthermore, future research needs to broaden the findings and improve generalizations by conducting studies of SMEs in other industries, such as manufacturing, and services of small, medium and large scale. In addition, it needs to add some countries as research objects, not only Indonesia.

  • This paper proposes the algorithm of servo- writing based on feedback error learning neural networks. The controller consists of feedback controller using PID and feedforward controller using gaussian radial basis function network. Because the RBFNs are trained by on-line rule, the controller has adaptation capability. The performance of the proposed controller is compared to that of conventional PID controller. Proposed algorithm shows better performance than PID controller.
