A Study on Design and Implementation of CAI System for Mammography Education in Radiological Technologist (방사선 유방촬영 교육을 위한 CAI 시스템의 설계 및 구현에 관한 연구)

  • The education system that based on objective data is needed for the beginning technologists in the department of radiology, development of the CAI system based on breast images is needed mammography field. So, in this study, we implemented CAI system based on mammography images for medical radiological technologists under Web using multimedia toolbook. This system is implemented under Web, more and more beginning technologists can have a remote-education beyond time and space, can save human power and time that needed due to hold in common of educational information, and cannot team mistaken breast images because of learning execution based on objective data. Also, implemented system brings a higher interest and a learning effect to medical radiological technologies because of hyper-media method that offered from toolbook. In the future, it will be needed a continuous acceptance of changing knowledge and it will be useful system for technologist in case of applying various examinations based mammography method of this study.

  • In this study, a digital textbook was developed for effective career and vocational education of students with disabilities. The contents of developed digital textbook consisted of 'lesson 15: Sale(1)' of middle school career and vocational education of basic curriculum. It progresses six periods and each topic activities are composed of open learning, learning activity 1, learning activity 2, and organized learning in order. NamoPubTreeEditor Program was used to develop the text book in the study, digital textbooks were designed to be compatible with various devices including smartphone of android operating system, Tablet PC, the iOS system, iphone, ipad, etc. In addition, it was designed to offer a variety of learning materials such as sale multimedia materials, glossary, evaluation questions, and linked data related to sale, supported self-motivated learning. allowed students to evaluate their study for the learning of students with disabilities.

  • After entering a convergence era, South Korea Government has enacted and announced the Standard Contract on the e-Learning Content Development Project, a year and eight months has passed. Nevertheless, there has been continued still the unjust and unreasonable contract practices issues raised by project owner in the e-Learning industry. This study investigated application status of the Standard Contract via FGI and questionnaires and suggested its improvement alternative. This study analyzed that the Standard Contract has not taken root at all in ordering of the e-Learning content development project and not reaped the effect. This study presented alternatives such as mandatory application of the Standard Contract, education and outreach, introduction of the monitoring system, certification system implementation, granting of additional points in the evaluation of agencies and CEO and etc. to that standard contract is settled as the government's intentions and objectives in the e-Learning industry field.

  • Delivery efficiency of e-learning media can be influenced by authoring processes. Generally, a moving picture recorded by video camera can be delivered to student by multimedia streaming service, using media server technology. A e-learning media authored by lecture authoring tool is played in a student application by download-based delivery system. Recently, some animation know-how are applied to author e-learning media by hand-operation. In this paper, we suggest a client-based streaming service for the e-leaning media consists of media files and integration data The lecture of e-learning media nay be divided into some time-based small blocks. Each blocks can be located distributed site. The student system gather those blocks by download-scheduling. This is a valid method for QoS guarantee streaming services. In addition to our study, lecturers can author composite e-learning media includes media files and dynamic web pages simply, The distributed e-learning media files of our study is managed by multi-author and updated rapidly.

  • Black marker cause unnatural problems between the existing various contents and marker. To solve this problem, we tested frequency of 3D objects according to the various colors and color placement. Based on this, infant's learning content system based NyARToolkit for the mobile-based augmented reality was implemented. By insert to color marker, We are solved the unnatural problems in the Implemented system. and infant can study seamlessly because concentration increases by the familiar character on the markers.

  • In this article, we present some derived subjects from the concept of ICT-based DPD concept for the safety of folk villages in both Korea and Japan. First, our deduced topic would rather be a monitoring system design of structures in folk villages. We, therefore, offer an integrated model of maintenance and management monitoring scheme. As another research subject, we submit safety sign or sign system installed in traditional towns and their standardization. We have draw up a plan to make signs upgrade applied to folk villages in Korea and Japan. According to our investigations, we should suggest and focus on flood in the area of traditional town in Korea. We present a water-level expectation model using deep learning simulation. We have applied this method to the area of 'Andong Hahoe' village which had been registered on World Cultural Heritage of UNESCO. The final goal of our research is to propose and realize an integrated disaster prevention and/or safety system based on big data concepts for both Korea and Japan.

  • In this paper, We are design & implement to the LMS(Learning Management System) including SCORM standard for effective reusing and management of each digital contents. This system is composed XML based meta-data manager, SQL server and ASP for LMS application, which are the user directed teaming system within effective reusing and management of each digital contents.

Improved SIM Algorithm for Contents-based Image Retrieval (내용 기반 이미지 검색을 위한 개선된 SIM 방법)

  • Contents-based image retrieval methods are in general more objective and effective than text-based image retrieval algorithms since they use color and texture in search and avoid annotating all images for search. SIM(Self-organizing Image browsing Map) is one of contents-based image retrieval algorithms that uses only browsable mapping results obtained by SOM(Self Organizing Map). However, SOM may have an error in selecting the right BMU in learning phase if there are similar nodes with distorted color information due to the intensity of light or objects' movements in the image. Such images may be mapped into other grouping nodes thus the search rate could be decreased by this effect. In this paper, we propose an improved SIM that uses HSV color model in extracting image features with color quantization. In order to avoid unexpected learning error mentioned above, our SOM consists of two layers. In learning phase, SOM layer 1 has the color feature vectors as input. After learning SOM Layer 1, the connection weights of this layer become the input of SOM Layer 2 and re-learning occurs. With this multi-layered SOM learning, we can avoid mapping errors among similar nodes of different color information. In search, we put the query image vector into SOM layer 2 and select nodes of SOM layer 1 that connects with chosen BMU of SOM layer 2. In experiment, we verified that the proposed SIM was better than the original SIM and avoid mapping error effectively.

  • The appearnace of web technology has accelerated the development of the multimedia technology, the computer communication technology and the multimedia application contents. Researches on WBI(Web-based Instruction) system have combined the technology of the digital library and LOD,. REcently WBI(Web-based Instruction) model which is based on web has been proposed in the part of the new activity model of teaching-learning. As the demand of the customized coursewares from the lwarners is increased, the needs of the efficient and automated education agents in the web-based instruction are recognized. In this paper we propose a system monitors learner's behaviors constantly, evaluates them, and calculates his accomplishment. And the system offers suitable course to learner applying this accomplishment degree to agent's schedules. Therefore, the learner achieves an active and complete learning from the repeated and suitable course semantic-based retrieval.

  • SCORM(Sharable Content Object Reference Model)은 세계 e-Learning 표준화 분야에서 가장 주목을 받고 있는 ADL(Advanced Distributed Learning)의 표준화 모델이다. SCORM2004 RTE(Run-Time Environment) 에서 상호작용 데이터 모델(Interaction Data Model)의 기능을 활용하면 LMS(Learning Management System)가 문항을 자동 생성하여 문제은행을 보다 쉽게 구현할 수 있다. 내용학습 후에 형성평가를 실시하기 위한 문항을 학습자가 원하는 만큼 공급할 수 있다. 본 연구는 일반계 고등학교 수학교과의 삼각함수 성질을 학습하는 데 있어 RTE의 상호작용 데이터 모델로 구현한 문제은행을 갖춘 반복학습 콘텐츠를 개발하여 학습효과를 높이고자 한다.
