Probabilistic Neural Network Based Learning from Fuzzy Voice Commands for Controlling a Robot

  • Study of human-robot communication is one of the most important research areas. Among various communication media, any useful law we find in voice communication in human-human interactions, is significant in human-robot interactions too. Control strategy of most of such systems available at present is on/off control. These robots activate a function if particular word or phrase associated with that function can be recognized in the user utterance. Recently, there have been some researches on controlling robots using information rich fuzzy commands such as "go little slowly". However, in those works, although the voice command interpretation has been considered, learning from such commands has not been treated. In this paper, learning from such information rich voice commands for controlling a robot is studied. New concepts of the coach-player model and the sub-coach are proposed and such concepts are also demonstrated for a PA-10 redundant manipulator.

한국프로축구팀의 감독교체가 팀 경기성과에 미치는 영향 (The Effects of Coach Turnover and Sport Team Performance: Evidence from the Korean Professional Soccer League 1983-2013)

  • 본 연구는 한국프로축구팀 감독교체가 팀 경기성과에 미치는 효과를 경영학의 조직학습이론을 적용하여 규명하고자 하였다. 1983년 시즌부터 2013년 시즌까지 30년 동안의 19개 팀과 96명의 감독에 대한 307개의 팀-연도 데이터를 기반으로 패널데이터를 구성하였고, 최종적으로 226개의 팀 데이터가 실증분석에 투입되었다. 자동상관 및 이분산성의 문제를 해결하기 위하여 고정효과 일반화최소자승법(Fixed Effect Generalized Least Square Regression)을 사용하여 분석하였으며 연구결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 감독교체는 팀 경기성과와 부(-)의 관계를 가지는 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 시즌기간(on-season)의 감독교체는 팀 경기성과에 부정적인 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 시즌기간에 감독을 교체하는 경우 악순환이론 관점이 적용되는 것으로 확인되었다. 셋째, 비시즌기간(off-season)의 감독교체는 팀 경기성과에 긍정적인 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 비시즌기간에 지도자를 교체하는 경우 상식이론 관점이 적용되는 것으로 확인되었다. 넷째, 시즌기간의 감독교체와 비시즌기간의 감독교체 간의 팀 경기성과의 차이를 비교한 결과, 비시즌기간의 감독교체가 시즌기간의 감독교체에 비해 유의한 팀 경기성과를 보였다. 다섯째, 감독교체가 발생한 경우 후임감독으로 내부출신을 선호하는 것으로 나타났다. 여섯째, 내부출신감독은 팀 경기성과에 부정적인 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 일곱째, 감독교체와 팀 경기성과 간의 부(-)의 관계 사이에는 내부출신감독요인이 매개 역할을 하는 것으로 나타났다. 본 연구는 프로축구산업 현장에서 팀 경기성과의 향상을 위한 감독교체가 필요할 때 후임 감독이 역량을 효과적으로 발휘할 수 있는 교체시기에 대한 시사점을 제공한다.

골프참여자의 코치지원과 적응유연성 및 주관적 건강의 관계 (The Relationship among Coach Support, Resilience and Self-Rated Health for Golf Participants)

  • 본 연구는 골프참여자의 코치지원과 적응유연성 및 주관적 건강과의 관계분석을 통해 골프가 바람직한 여가활동으로써 자리매김을 함은 물론 나아가 평생체육의 발판을 마련하고자 하는 목적을 두고 진행되었다. 연구대상은 서울, 경기, 세종, 대전지역에 소재한 골프연습장 이용객을 대상으로 설문조사를 실시하였다. 표본은 비확률 표본추출법 중 편의표본추출법을 사용하여 표본을 추출하였고, 자기평가기입법으로 설문지를 작성하도록 하였으며 총 278부의 자료가 실제분석에 사용되었다. 본 연구의 목적을 달성하기 위하여 SPSS 18.0과 AMOS 18.0을 이용하여 빈도분석, 탐색적 요인분석, 확인적 요인분석, 신뢰도분석과 상관관계분석을 실시하였고 모형을 설정한 뒤 구조방적식모형(SEM)을 통하여 변인간의 인과적 관계를 규명하였다. 이상과 같은 연구방법과 연구모형 검증을 기초로 하여 본 연구에서 도출된 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 골프참여자들의 코치지원은 적응유연성에 정적인 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 골프참여자들의 적응유연성은 주관적 건강에 정적인 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 셋째, 골프참여자의 코치지원은 주관적 건강에 정적인 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 넷째, 골프참여자의 코치지원과 주관적 건강의 관계에서 적응유연성은 매개하는 것으로 나타났다. 따라서 골프지도자는 다양한 지도법에 대한 끊임없는 학습을 통해 교육프로그램의 전문화 및 다각화를 이루어야 할 것이다.

A Case Study of Problem-Based Learning and Action Learning at a University

  • Many universities are searching for educational methods to cultivate problem-solving ability and cooperative learning ability or already trying to implement them. Problem Based Learning(PBL) and Action Learning(AL) are effective teaching and learning methods to cultivate men of talent qualified for problem-solving and cooperative learning abilities that universities are seeking after. PBL and AL have something in common in that learning is accomplished while learners are solving the authentic problem. But, in spite of this similarity, PBL and AL have differences. However, most literatures and cases on these two models introduce only the outline of commons and differences and do not provide teachers with actual helping aids to select a model appropriate for the actual design or operation of classes. Accordingly, many teachers usually select and utilize a familiar model rather than select a proper model to the nature of a subject and the educational goal. Teaching and learning methods or learning environment should be selected appropriately to the educational goal. This study indicates the characteristics of PBL and AL that are being introduced and utilized as a principal teaching and learning method of college education and then shows how this method can be realized in the university by comparing the cases of classes applied in two methods.

공업계 고등학교에서의 문제해결식 실기수업 모형 (A model of problem solving instruction for improving practical skill-competence in technical high school)

  • The purpose of this study was to development a model of problem solving instruction for improving practical skill-competence in technical high school. For the study, various literature researches were reviewed intensively about problem solving process, laboratory instruction's approaches and learning principals. The problem solving instruction process was composed with identifying problems, generating alternative solutions, investigation and research, choosing a solution, acting on a plan, modeling of problem solving, testing and evaluating, redesigning and improving. The skills schema combines a four domain of skilled activity, that is, cognitive skills, psychomotor skills, reactive skills and interactive skills. The problem solving instruction was composed with five major learning systems-emotional, social, cognitive, physical, and reflective-that can be used extensively as generic lesson plashing. The teacher serves as a coach or guide for student learning. As a facilitator, the teacher challenges, questions, and stimulates the students in their thinking, problem solving and self-directed study. In this process, students represent problem with think aloud, assume responsibility for their learning and move from teacher-centered to student-centered education.

학사경고자 대상 개별 학습코칭 프로그램 개발을 위한 예비연구 (A Preliminary Study for a Academic Probation Target Individual Learning Coaching Program Development)

  • This study is a preliminary research to develop an individual learning coaching program for college students who received academic probation. It aims to test applicability as a program in the future, and t revise it and make up for its problems. To achieve the research aim, this study, based on self-directed learning, constructed the program dividing it into two kinds: the first basic learning special lecture and the second individual learning coaching. This program used those students in universities in Gyeongbok province who received two or more scholastic probations from the second semester of 2012 to the second semester of 2014, and who were judged by professors who had interviewed them as those who needed learning coach. The researcher of this study introduced those students about the program and schedule. And, this study did in-depth analysis for the six students who attended the first and second parts of the program. It was found that those students understood the importance and necessity of self-directed learning, and tried to apply it to actual learning process and overcome learning difficulty. Based on such findings, this study suggested the development of a program for students who receive academic probation and ideas on how to develop it.

초등 과학 교사들의 교사 공동체 내에서의 학습의 특징과 인식적 믿음의 변화 (Characteristics of Teacher Learning and Changes in Teachers' Epistemic Beliefs within a Learning Community of Elementary Science Teachers)

  • The purpose of this study was to explore the characteristics of teacher learning and changes in teachers' epistemic beliefs within a learning community of elementary science teachers. Three in-service elementary teachers who majored in elementary science education in a doctoral course of a graduate school of education participated in the study, and learning activities in the teachers' beginning learning community provided a context for the study. Data sources included field notes produced by the researcher who engaged jointly in the teacher learning community as a coach, audio-recordings of the teachers' narratives, and artifacts generated by the teachers during the process of teacher learning. Complementary analyses of these multiple sources of data revealed that epistemic beliefs of the three elementary teachers were different and that each teacher made a different plan of science instruction based on his own epistemic belief even after the learning experiences within the teacher community. It was therefore suggested that science teacher education programs should be organized in consideration of the nature of teachers as constructivist learners and their practical resources.

건강가정사 양성교육에서 액션러닝(Action Learning) 활용에 관한 탐색적 연구 (An Exploratory Study of the Application of Action-learning Strategy to the Healthy Family Specialist Education Program)

  • In this study, I examined the concept of action learning, its characteristics, operation method, and action learning cases in domestic and foreign countries. Also, I studied the possibility of using action learning in teaching healthy family specialist education. I researched the wellbeing action learning held from June 10 to June 20, 2007, with 20 participants. I conducted interviews and wrote a paper about how much action learning subjects were helped in their improving task-handling ability, its merits and drawbacks, and suggestions the subjects had about their participation in. The results were as shown below. First, the Catholic Welfare Department of Baekseok Uuniversity developed and operated action learning subjects to improve task-handling abilities in NURY business. Second, the action team valuated its subjects that everyone had fear and burden about action learning, but as time goes by, their confidence and adaptation ability have been improved. Also, organization staff and coaches answered that it was helpful to their self-development and improve capacity.

암환자의 긍정성 증진을 위한 블렌디드 건강코칭 교육프로그램 프로토타입 개발 및 적용 (Developing and Pilot-Testing Blended Learning Program Prototypes for Health Coaching to Support Positive Growth of Cancer Patients)

  • This study aimed to develop and pilot-test educational program prototypes of training health coaches to help cancer patients overcome crises and create positive growth. For this purpose, the educational contents and methods of the blended learning program prototypes were derived through learner needs and literature analysis. The prototypes, which consist of introducing of health management and health information and understanding and practice of basic coaching and health coaching, were developed to integrate with four sessions of face-to-face, off-line classes, training practices through 12 tele-classes, and use of online learning system. The prototypes were conducted and pilot-tested by a total of 35 students selected through the document screening and the interview. After participating in the blended learning program, learners expressed greater overall satisfaction with each session program (average score = 4.36, with 5 being most satisfied), satisfaction with learning contents (average score=4.42) satisfaction with course preparation (average score = 4.26) and satisfaction with lecture materials (average score = 4.19). The results of this study show that a systematic and integrative approach for designing a blended learning program can be useful for various educational needs in health and medical fields. In the future, empirical studies are expected to see how these curricula are actually implemented and assess whether the intended learning outcomes are achieved.

  • 본 논문에서는 딥러닝 기반의 주의환기 보상전략 시스템이 발달장애인의 데이터 라벨링 작업 생산성에 미치는 효과를 분석하였다. 연구 결과, 중재가 적용된 후 연구대상자 모두 자율작업 대비 작업 생산성에서 유의미한 향상이 관찰되었다. 특히 인공지능 기반의 중재가 적용되었을 때, 직무지도원 중재에 비해 상당한 향상을 보였다. 이러한 결과는 인공지능 기술이 발달장애인의 데이터 라벨링 작업 생산성 향상에 긍정적인 영향을 미칠 수 있음을 의미한다. 본 연구는 발달장애인의 데이터 라벨링 작업에 인공지능 기술을 접목한 최초의 연구이며, 발달장애인의 직업훈련과 작업 생산성 증진을 위한 딥러닝 기술의 적용 가능성을 탐색하는 데 중요한 시사점을 제공하리라 본다.
