통계 기반 모델 개선을 위한 임팩트 해머 실험의 오차 요인 분석 (Investigation of Error Factors from an Impact Hammer Test for Developing a Statistic Based Technique for Model Updating)

  • 본 논문에서는 통계적인 기법을 기반으로 유한 요소 모델을 개선하기 위해 수행되는 임팩트 해머 실험에서 발생할 수 있는 오차 요인을 분석하고, 오차를 줄일 수 있는 방안을 제시한다. 먼저, 이론 모델과 실험을 통해, 실험 과정과 측정된 신호를 후처리 하는 과정에서 발생할 수 있는 오차 요인을 파악한다. 실험 오차 요인으로 가진력의 지속 시간과 크기, 시편을 지지대와 연결하는 고무줄의 강성과 위치, 응답 신호를 측정하기 위해 시편에 부착하는 가속도계의 위치와 질량을 고려하고, 이에 따른 고유 모드와 고유 주파수의 변화를 살펴본다. 그리고, 디지털 신호 처리 과정에서는 말뚝 울타리 효과, 누설, 지수창 함수 사용에 의한 오차를 살펴보고, 이런 오차를 줄일 수 있는 방법을 제시한다.

WiMAX 정책 제어 시스템의 정보 동기화 (Error Handling and Data Synchronization in Policy and Charging Control Architecture in WiMAX)

  • 3GPP와 WiMAX의 Policy and Charging Control(PCC) 표준에서는 정책제어 시스템(Policy and Charging Rule Function, PCRF)이 정책적용 시스템(Policy and Charging Rule Enforcement Function, PCEF)에 품질 및 과금 정책을 설정하고 관리함으로써 네트워크 자원을 제어하는 아키텍처를 정의한다. 본 논문은 PCRF 시스템과 PCEF 시스템 사이에서 정책 정보 불일치로 인해 발생하는 오류의 유형을 규정하고, 각 오류의 유형에 따라 PCRF 시스템의 정책 정보와 PCEF 시스템의 정책 정보를 동기화 시키는 방법을 제안한다. 그리고 WiMAX 표준을 준용하여 한국에 구축된 WiBro 시스템에서 각 기지국의 mobile VoIP(mVoIP) 수용량 관점에서 제안한 방법의 성능을 정량적으로 분석하였다. 제안한 방법은 삭제되지 않은 정책 정보로 인한 네트워크 자원의 낭비를 줄이고, 불필요한 정보의 누적으로 인해 발생하는 시스템의 부하, 메모리 누수, 시스템 정지 등과 같은 문제점들을 방지하고, PCC 서비스를 안정적으로 유지시켜 줌으로써 시스템의 성능을 향상시킨다. 우리는 이 방법을 실제 구현을 통하여 검증하였으며, WiMAX 표준에 반영시켰다.

디젤엔진용 고압분사 유닛인젝터의 성능예측을 위한 사이클 시뮬레이션 (Cycle Simulation for the Performance Prediction of a High Pressure Unit Injection System of a Diesel Engine)

  • In this study, a cycle simulation program of a Unit-Injection(UI) system was developed to estimate the injection performance of newly designed injection system. A fundamental theory of the simulation program is based on the conservation law of mass. Loss of fuel mass in the system due to leakage, compressibility effect of the liquid fuel and friction loss in the control volume was considered in the algorithm f the program. For the evaluation of the simulation program developed, the experimental result which was offered by the Technical Research Center of Doowon Precision Industry Co. was incorporated. Two main parameters; the maximum pressure in the plunger chamber and total fuel mass(kg) injected into the engine cylinder per cycle, were measured and compared with the simulation results. It was found that the maximum error rate of the simulation result to the experimental output was less than 3% in the rated rotational speed (rpm) range of the plunger cam.

  • A nodal transport method based on the F$_{N}$ method is developed for the transport calculation in x- y geometry and tested for benchmark problems. Using transverse integration, the two-dimensional transport equation is converted to one-dimensional equations for x, y-directions and the one-dimensional equations are integrated over azimuthal angle. With proper approximations for the transverse leakage, the one-dimensional equations are discretized by using the F$_{N}$ method without truncation error. At present, isotropic approximation of the transverse with a quadratic or flat shape in spatial variable is tested.ted.

  • This paper studies the problem of precoding and post-coding design for multicell multiuser downlink transmissions in the absence of perfect channel state information (CSI). Using statistical information of imperfect CSI, an iterative multiuser multicell transceiver design is formulated by minimizing the mean squared error (MSE) cost function of signal and leakage interference under per-base station power constraint (PBPC). The convergence of the iterative precoding and postcoding algorithm is verified by analytical and empirical results. The proposed precoding and postcoding algorithm offers a low computational complexity and robustness against CSI imperfection.

  • A constant V/F control system of voltage contrlled PWM inverter has a unstable operation of the low- speed and the light-load. In this paper, the authors propose stability control with idealized operation of induction motor by the neglect of primary leakage inductance and resistance. Also ldealized operation system is adopted voltage error, feed back impedance circuit, and increasing resistance from dead time of switching is compensated by the soft ware with u-processors. The proposed simulation of the idealized control method is proved at the low-speed operation for three phase induction motor.

  • In this paper, remote control and surveillance monitoring system of HID street-lamp using low-cost type of Zigbee communication module was developed. A plurality of capacitors with different capacity are attached to magnetic ballast for HID lamps. Changes in the amount of illumination can be adjusted by the changes in capacity so that the electric energy can be reduced. In Zigbee communication module, a ATmega128L microprocessor is used and in main CPU, ARM9 Core is used to construct a low-cost smart system. In surveillance monitoring systems, the system was configured to remote monitoring of presence of error in the lamp abnormalities, the status of leakage current and abnormalities of ballasts and capacitors and the validity of the proposed empirical experiment was confirmed.

  • Recently, the Electro-Hydrostatic Actuator(EHA) has been developed as a result of research on energy saving. EHA is usually composed of a direct driven pump from an electric motor and is available to control cylinder displacement or velocity with high efficiency. In addition, it has the advantage of compactness, minimum leakage and availability of decentralized control. In this study, an EHA system was designed to decrease the path tracking error and manufactured for test. The linearization method provided in AMESim software was used to derive the model of EHA system. The derived model was applied to design the PI-D controller to effectively overcome the disturbance. The effectiveness of this controller was verified by further testing.

  • The spectrum of impulse response signal which is obtained from an impulse hammer testing is used for frequency response function, nevertheless it has serious faults when the record length for the signal processing is not very long. The faults cannot be avoided with the conventional signal analyzer that is processing all the signals as if they are always periodic. The signals generated by the impact hammer are undoubtedly non-periodic because of the damping, and are acquired for limited recording time due to the memory as well as the computation performance of the signal analyzer. This paper will make clear the relation between the faults and the length of recording time, and propose the way for solving the faults.

  • Abstract - Linear Synchronous Motor has a large airgap comparing with rotary-type motor and especially, Permanent Magnet Linear Synchronous Motor(PM-LSM) which uses permanent magnet as a magnetic field, has a very large effective magnet airgap owing to permanent magnet structure. Accordingly, in case of 2-D analysis of the motor, the analysis error becomes large because leakage flux by which normal direction of the analysis region can not be considered, In this paper, the characteristic of PM-LSM for Maglev vehicle is analyzed exactly by 3-D Finite Element Method(3-D FEM). As the result, the effect of lateral-direction airgap magnetic flux density distribution on the analysis precision has been investigated and the motor characteristics according to primary motor parameter have been also made clear quantitatively. The accuracy of 3-D FEM has been confirmed by comparing the calculated results with the experimental results.
