원자력 발전소 배관에 대한 파단전누설 개념 적용기준의 수정 (Modification of Current Leak Before Break Criteria for Nuclear Piping System)

  • The puopose of this paper is sto modify the current LBB criteria. The validity of current LBB criteria and current standard LBB analysis mehtod are evaluated using linear elastic fracture mechanics and elastic-plastic fracture mechanics. The results of evaluation demonstrate that the current LBB driteria are very conservative and some level of margins already exist in the standard LBB analysis method. Thus, the margin on load .root. and margin on crack size 2 can be eliminated to extend LBB application for the samller diameter pipe.

  • Superconducting current leads are indispensible for reducing power loss when subjecting current into superconducting magnets. HTS(High-Tc superconducting) current leads are divided into two types; one is bulk type and the other is tape type. In this paper, conceptual design on the HTS current leads which adopts tape type for nuclear fusion magnets is carried out using magnetic field analysis and thermal analysis. When large current flows through superconducting current leads, strong self magnetic field is generated and applied to the superconducting tapes. This phenomenon leads to the critical current decrease of the superconducting tape. Therefore, we analyzed magnetic field distribution of current leads and found the proper arrangement with respect to the various HTS tapes. In addition to the magnetic field analysis, heat leak through the current leads was also calculated to know which HTS tape is superior than others in thermal aspect. Magnetical field analysis and calculation of heat leak are performed to design 2 kA class HTS current leads.

Experimental Study on Leak-induced Vibration in Water Pipelines Using Fiber Bragg Grating Sensors

  • Leak detection is one of the most important challenges in condition monitoring of water pipelines. Fiber Bragg grating (FBG) sensors offer an attractive technique to detect leak signals. In this paper, leak measurements were conducted on a water distribution pilot plant with a length of 270 m and a diameter of 100 mm. FBG sensors were installed on the pipeline surface and used to detect leak vibration signals. The leak was demonstrated with 1-, 2-, 3-, and 4-mm diameter leak holes in four different pipe types. The frequency response of leak signals was analyzed by fast Fourier transform analysis in real time. In the experiment, the frequency range of leak signals was approximately 340-440 Hz. The frequency shifts of leak signals according to the pipe type and the size of the leak hole were demonstrated at a pressure of 1.8 bar and a flow rate of 25.51 m3/h. Results show that frequency shifts detected by FBG sensors can be used to detect leaks in pipelines.

"Leak Current" correction for critical current measurement of no-insulation HTS coil

  • Discrepancy between a power supply current and an actual "spiral" coil current makes the conventional 4-probe measurement of a critical current ($I_c$) of a no-insulation (NI) high temperature superconductor (HTS) coil inaccurate and time-consuming. This paper presents a fast and accurate approach for $I_c$ measurement of NI HTS coils. With an NI HTS coil energized at a constant ramping rate, a complete analytic expression for the spiral coil current was obtained from a first-order partial differential equation that derived from an equivalent circuit model of the NI coil. From the analytic solution, both spiral coil current and radial leak current can be obtained simultaneously, which enables fast and accurate measurement of the NI coil $I_c$. To verify the proposed approach, an NI double-pancake (DP) coil, wound with GdBCO tapes of $6mm{\times}0.1mm$, was constructed and its $I_c$ was repeatedly measured with various ramping rates in a bath of liquid nitrogen at 77 K. The measured results agreed well with the calculated ones, which validates the proposed approach to measure $I_c$ of an NI HTS coil.

수소 누출 시 제트화재 피해 범위에 대한 분석 (An Investigation of Hazard Distance in a Series of Hydrogen Jet Fire with the Hyram Tools)

  • For commercialization of hydrogen refuelling station (HRS), we need to reduce the clearance distance for jet fire in the real entities in the HRS. Thus, we revisited the current regulations of clearance distance for jet fire in the law. The law in korea has been set up by replica of japan, not by our own scientific basis. Recently, sandia lab developed Hydrogen Risk Assessment Model (HyRAM) tools and we simulated a series of circumstances such as 10 to 850 bar with several leak hole sizes. In 850 bar with 10 mm diameter hole leak cases, it shows $4,981kW/m^2$ at 12 m separation from leak source and $1,774kW/m^2$ at 17 m separation from leak source. In 850 bar with 1 mm diameter leak hole, it shows $0.102kW/m^2$ at 12 m separation and $0.044kW/m^2$ at 17 m separation. Current law may be acceptable with 1 mm hole size with 850 bar.

다단 전류도입선 해석 (Study of Multi-Step Current Lead)

  • High-Tc superconducting current leads with multi-step and continually varied cross-sectional area are studied to reduce heat leak into cryostat and material use. Assuming conduction-cooled lead the cross-sectional area is reduced along the heat flow direction according to the increase of critical current density which increases with decreasing temperature. In this study, we also analyze the multi-step cross-sectional area High-Tc current leads. The multi-st데 current leads changes the cross-sectional area to have constant safety-factor at changed section. The heat leak into cryostat, total voume, safety-factor and the temperature profiles are compared to those of the constant safety-factor current leads. The developed methods are applied to the Bi-2223 superconductor sheathed with Ag-Au alloy.

  • 최근 산업기밀보호센터의 통계에 의하면 국내 기밀유출 사고의 경우 전·현직 직원에 의해 기업기밀유출의 약 80%를 차지하고 이러한 내부자에 의한 정보유출 사고의 대다수가 허술한 보안 관리체계와 정보유출 탐지기술의 이유로 발생하고 있다. 내부자의 기밀유출을 차단하는 업무는 기업보안 부문에서 매우 중요한 문제이지만 기존의 많은 연구들은 내부자에 의한 유출위협보다는 외부 위협에 의한 침입에 대응하는데 초점이 맞추어져 있다. 따라서 본 논문에서는 기업 내에서 발생하는 다양한 비정상 행위를 효과적이고 효율적으로 탐지하기 위해 내부정보 유출 시나리오를 설계하고 시나리오에서 도출 된 유출 징후의 핵심 위험지표를 데이터 분석(Data analytics)함 으로써 정교하지만 신속하게 유출행위를 탐지하는 모형을 제시하고자 한다.

  • 플랜트 배관의 누설감시 시스템은 누설 유무 판단뿐만 아니라 누설의 위치를 신속히 파악하는 것 또한 매우 중요하다. 플랜트 배관의 누설 검출 방법에는 주로 AE(acoustic emission)센서, 마이크로폰어레이 그리고 카메라 영상을 이용한 방법들이 있다. 최근 광역감시 및 원거리감시의 이점이 있는 카메라 영상을 이용한 방법에 대한 연구가 진행되어 왔다. 하지만 기존 카메라 영상을 이용한 방법들은 누설 유무와 대략적인 누설의 위치를 판단하고 있으나 누설이 시작되는 정확한 위치 추정에 대한 연구는 아직 미흡한 상태이다. 따라서 본 논문에서는 카메라를 이용한 누설 검출 방법을 이용해 누설영역을 산출하고 누설 검출 결과를 분석하여 누설 위치를 추정하는 방법을 제안하였으며 실험을 통하여 성능을 평가하였다.

군집화를 이용한 기업 핵심기술 유출자 분류에 관한 연구 (A Study on The Leak of Core Business Technologies Using Preventative Security Methods Such as Clustering)

  • 최근 국내 기업의 핵심기술 유출은 해마다 증가하고 있고 국가적인 차원에서 피해액 손실도 매년 크게 증가하고 있다. 최근 5년 간 우리나라 주요 사업의 기술유출에 따른 피해액은 220조 원에 달했고 2010년 총 예산과 비슷한 액수이다. 또한 핵심기술 유출 유형별로는 전직 직원, 현직 직원, 협력 업체 직원, 유치과학자, 투자업체 순으로 내부 인력에 의한 핵심기밀 유출이 가장 많은 것으로 나타났다. 이처럼, 사람에 의해서 핵심기밀 유출이 가장 많이 발생한 것에 따라 기업의 인원 보안 관리에 대한 대책 및 관리가 제대로 이루어 지지 않는 것을 미루어 짐작할 수 있다. 따라서 본 논문은 기업에서의 핵심기술 유출을 방지하기 위하여 내부 인력에 대한 사전 정보를 데이터 마이닝 방법을 통해서 핵심기술 유출 징후 분류 방법을 제안한다.

원주방향 경사관통균열이 존재하는 두꺼운 배관의 탄성 균열열림변위 (Elastic Crack Opening Displacement of Slanted Circumferential Through-Wall Cracks in Thick-Walled Cylinder)

  • According to recent research on leak-rate estimates to assess rupture probabilities of nuclear piping which contains a circumferential surface/through-wall cracks due to PWSCC, i.e., xLPR (Extremely Low Probability of Rupture) program, it has been revealed that the use of crack shape with an idealized circumferential through-wall crack during actual crack growth can lead to overestimate of the leak-rate. Thus, for accurate estimation of the leak-rate during crack growth, the more realistic crack shape that can simulate the crack shape transition from surface crack to through-wall crack should be used. In this context, in the present study, the elastic crack opening displacement of slanted circumferential through-wall crack in thick-walled cylinder was proposed based on 3-dimensional elastic finite element fracture mechanics analyses. To propose the elastic crack opening displacement of slanted circumferential through-wall crack in thick-walled cylinder, the geometric variables affecting crack opening displacement, i.e., thickness of cylinder, reference inner crack length and slant crack ratio were systematically varied. In terms of loading conditions, axial tension, global bending moment and internal pressure were considered. The present results can be applied to calculate the leak-rate considering more realistic crack shape transition from surface crack to idealized through-wall crack, and can be expected to enhance current leak-rate estimation scheme, for instance, in xLPR program etc.
