A Study on the Water Absorption Test of Generator Stator Windings Using Probability Distributions (여러 가지 확률분포를 이용한 발전기 고정자 권선의 흡습 시험에 관한 연구)

  • Water absorption in water-cooled generator stator windings can cause serious accidents such as insulation breakdown and it brings a generator to the unexpected sudden outage. Accordingly, it is important to diagnose the water absorption of them in the effective operation of power plant. Especially, the capacitance value which is measured for diagnosis is very small so the special diagnosis methods like stochastic theory are needed. KEPRI developed the water absorption test equipment and diagnosis technology for them. In this paper we propose that water absorption test of generator stator windings using probability distributions. The proposed diagnosis technology is applied to the real system and the results of water absorption test for stator windings are agreed to them of water leak test.

  • New nondestructive inspection (NDI) technique to detect the defect in metal was developed in which an electromagnetic field is induced in a metal by AC current flowing in the magnetic coil and the leak magnetic-flux disturbed by defects is measured using a tape-recorder head with air gap. This technique can be applied in evaluating the location and sizing of surface defects in components of the ferromagnetic body by means of the non-contacting measurement. In this paper, we have applied this technique to the evaluation of two-dimensional surface cracks in ferromagnetic metal, and also investigated the influence of the various frequencies and lift-off. Defects were detected with maximum values in the distribution of voltage and it was found that the maximum values tend to increase with the defect depth. Although the maximum values for defects are affected by the frequency and lift-off, the depth of small defects can be estimated from the linear relationship between the depth and voltage rate$(V_0/V_{ave})$.

  • In this study, the relationship between natural gas (NG) data and gas-related environmental elements was performed using machine learning algorithms to predict the level of gas leakage risk without directly measuring gas leakage data. The study was based on open data provided by the server using the IoT-based remote control Picarro gas sensor specification. The naturel gas leaks into the air, it is a big problem for air pollution, environment and the health. The proposed method is multivariate outlier removing method based Random Forest (RF) classification for predicting risk of NG leak. After, unsupervised k-means clustering, the experimental dataset has done imbalanced data. Therefore, we focusing our proposed models can predict medium and high risk so best. In this case, we compared the receiver operating characteristic (ROC) curve, accuracy, area under the ROC curve (AUC), and mean standard error (MSE) for each classification model. As a result of our experiments, the evaluation measurements include accuracy, area under the ROC curve (AUC), and MSE; 99.71%, 99.57%, and 0.0016 for MOL_RF respectively.

  • Since the unprecedented hydrogen fluoride leak accident in 2012, there has been growing demand for customized technical information for rapid response and chemical accident management agencies including the Ministry of Environment, the National Emergency Management Agency, and the National Police Agency need more information on chemicals and accident management. In this regard, this study aims to provide reliable technical data and guidelines to initial response agencies, similar to accident management technical reports of the US and Canada. In this study, we conducted a questionnaire survey and interviews on initial response agencies like fire stations, police stations, and local governments to identify new information items for appropriate initial response and improvements of current guidelines. We also collected and reviewed the Canada's TIPS, US EPA's hydrogen fluoride documents, domestic and foreign literature on applicability tests of control chemicals, and interview data, and then produced items to be listed in the technical guidelines. In addition, to establish database of on-site technical information, we carried out applicability tests for accident control data including ① emergency shut down devide, safety guard, shut down valve, ground connection, dyke, transfer pipe, scrubber, and sensor; ② literature and field survey on distribution type and transportation/storage characteristics (container identification, valve, ground connection, etc.); ③ classification and identification of storage/transportation facilities and emergency management methodslike leak prevention, chemicals control, and cutoff or bypass of rain drainage; ④ domestic/foreign analysis methods and environmental standards including portable detection methods, test standards, and exposure limits; and ⑤ comparison/evaluation of neutralization efficiency of control chemicals on toxic substances.

Shape Design Optimization of Disk Seal in $SF_6$ Gas Safety Valve ($SF_6$ 가스 안전밸브 디스크 시일의 최적설계에 관한 연구)

  • Sulfur Hexafluoride, S $F_{6}$ is widely used for leak detection and as a gaseous dielectric in transformers, condensers and circuit breakers. S $F_{6}$ gas is also effective as a cleanser in the semiconductor industry. This paper presents a numerical study of the sealing force of disk type seal in S $F_{6}$ gas safety valve. The sealing force on the disk seal is analyzed by the FEM method based on the Taguch's experimental design technique. Disk seals in S $F_{6}$ gas safety valve are designed with 9 design models based on 3 different contact length, compressive ratio and gas pressure. The calculated results of Cauchy stress and strain showed that the sealing characteristics of Teflon $^{ }$PTFE is more effective compared to that of FKM(Viton), which is related to the stiffness of the materials. And also, the contact length of the disk seal is important design parameter for sealing the S $F_{6}$ gas leakage in the safety valve.afety valve.

  • 원자력발전소의 상온수압시험에는 여러가지 목적이 있으며 그 중에서 가장 중요한 것 중 하나는 원전 주요 기기로부터의 누설여부를 알아내는 것이다. 동 시험에서 누설 여부를 알아내기 위해 현재 국내에서는 미국 규격에 따라 육안검사를 수행하고 있으나 프랑스의 경우, 음향방출 누설시험과 육안검사를 수행토록 하고 있다. 저자는 1992년과 1993년 중국 광동 원전 1, 2호기의 가동전검사에 참여하여 프랑스의 RSEM 규격에 따라 실시된 상온수압시험시의 음향방출 누설시험과 누설 육안검사에 대하여 기술 지원 업무를 수행하였다. 동시험에서는 시험 최고 압력인 228bar에서는 음향방출 누설 감시시험과 누설 육안검사를, 감압단계인 155bar 에서는 누설 육안검사를 수행하였다. 본고에서는 동 규격에 따라 최초로 수행된 중국 광동 원전 가동전검사 수압시험시의 음향방출에 의한 누설감시와 누설 육안검사에 대해 검사 기술, 검사 방법, 검사 절차, 그리고 검사 대상부위 등을 기술하였다.

Memory Leak Detection in C (C언어 기반 프로그램의 메모리 누수 검출기법)

  • 더 이상 사용되지 않는 메모리가 계속해서 유지되는 것을 메모리 누수라고 한다. 메모리 누수가 발생하면 메모리 낭비가 누적되기 때문에 시스템의 성능이 저하되고 궁극적으로 시스템 크래시(crash)가 발생 할 수 있다. 본 논문에서는 이러한 메모리 누수를 검출하기 위하여 참조 계수 기법을 이용한다. 참조계수 기법을 이용하면 메모리 누수의 발생 여부뿐만 아니라 메모리 누수 발생시점에 대한 정보까지 제공할 수 있어 디버깅이 용이해진다. 그리고 본 논문에서 제안한 기법을 구현한 도구를 이용하여 사례연구를 수행한다. 사례 연구 분석을 통하여 본 연구에서 제안한 기법이 정확하게 메모리 누수를 검출하고 디버깅에 유용한 정보를 제공할 수 있다는 것을 보인다.

  • For improving the power supply reliability and minimizing maintenance work of E.H.V. underground transmission line, new surveillance systems are strongly desired for use in the field of electric power transmission. For underground installation, high system reliability is required because E.H.V. cables, if an accident happen, can have a serious impact on social activities and human life. In answer to this requirement, applications of optical fiber transmission system have been widely developed in a variety of field. The main function of this system are cable fault location, oil leak detection, and surveillance of the cable circuit and tunnel condition.

  • 인류에게 가스는 주된 에너지원이며 현재에도 우리는 편리하게 가스를 사용하고 있다. 가스 감지에 대한 연구들이 많지만 대부분은 가정에서 사용하기엔 너무 비용이 많이들거나, 기능이 너무 부실하다. 따라서 본 논문에서는 기존의 방법들보다 비용이 절감되고 가스 누출 상황에 대해 좀 더 빠르고 정확하게 대응할 수 있는 아두이노와 가스센서를 통해 가스를 감지하고 안드로이드 어플리케이션을 통해 사용자에게 경고하며, 소방서에 문자메시지를 보낼 수 있는 시스템을 제안한다.

  • 본 논문에서는 다수의 음향방출 센서로부터 취득한 원 데이터를 관리하고 보일러 튜브에 대한 상태를 실시간으로 진단하고 모니터링을 할 수 있는 네트워크 기반의 보일러 튜브 모니터링 시스템을 제안한다. 본 시스템을 화력발전소 보일러 튜브에 설치한다면 보일러의 불시정지를 예방하는데 효과적일 것으로 기대된다.
