간호대학생의 셀프리더십과 스트레스 대처능력이 대학생활 적응에 미치는 영향 (Effects of Self-Leadership and Stress Coping on College Life Adjustment in Nursing Students)

  • The purpose of this study was to investigate the relationships among self-leadership, stress coping skills, and college life adjustment in nursing students. The data were collected using a self-reported questionnaire from November 4 to November 22. The subjects of the study were 335 nursing students in 1 nursing college located in K city. The data were analyzed by descriptive statistics, t-test, ANOVA, Scheffe's test, and multiple regression test using the SPSS Win. 18.0 program. The results were as follows: the mean score of self-leadership was 3.38, the mean score of stress coping skills was 3.45, and the mean score of college life adjustment was 3.35. There was a significant difference in college life adjustment according to motivation of entrance. Goal-setting, self-reward, and constructive ideas about the self-leadership and active stress coping skills were influencing factors of college life adjustment. In conclusion, it is necessary to increase the level of self leadership and active stress coping skills in nursing students. The results of this study suggest that it is necessary to develop diverse educational programs that can increase self-leadership and active coping skills.

간호대학생의 리더십생활기술 관련변인에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Variables associated with Leadership Life Skills in Nursing Students)

  • 본 연구의 목적은 간호대학생의 리더십생활기술, 자아존중감 및 동아리 활동 정도를 파악하고 이들 간의 상관관계를 분석하며, 간호대학생의 리더십생활기술에 영향을 미치는 요인을 파악하기 위해 시행되었다. 연구대상자는 두 개의 광역시와 한 개의 시에 소재한 대학교 간호대학생 331명을 대상으로 하였으며 수집된 자료는 SPSS Win 20.0을 이용하여 백분율, 평균과 표준편차, t-test, ANOVA, Scheffe' test, Pearson's correlation coefficients, multiple regression으로 분석하였다. 연구결과는 첫째, 간호대학생의 리더십생활기술과 자아존중감은 유의한 양의 상관관계를 나타내었다. 둘째, 간호대학생의 리더십생활기술에 대한 위계적 회귀분석 결과, 리더십생활기술에 영향을 주는 예측요인은 자아존중감, 전공만족도였으며, 29.6%의 설명력을 나타냈다. 이러한 결과는 간호대학생의 리더십생활기술을 증진시키는 전략을 개발하는데 유용하게 활용될 것이다.

지역사회 청소년의 리더쉽기술과 조직몰입 관계분석 (Investigating the Relationship between Leadership Skills and Organizational Commitment of Community Youth)

  • Rearing community youth has been main factors of sustainable agriculture and rural community. The purposes of this study were to analyze the leadership skill and organizational commitment of community youth and to investigate the relationship between leadership skill and organizational commitment. The data were collected from 196 rural youth by stratified random sampling. The study was adopted t-test, ANOVA factor analysis and correlation analysis. The major findings of this study were as follows; First, community youth married, wealthier, and expanded farming area were more likely to have leadership life skills than others. Second, community youth wealthier and expanded farming area were more likely to have organizational commitment than others. Third, group activity, being leader, teaming skill, communication self understanding, decision making, language skill among leadership skills have positively correlated with organizational commitment.

The Impact of Peer-assessed Fundamentals of Nursing Skills Education and Self-leadership on Self-directed Learning Ability and Learning Attitudes

  • This study is a descriptive survey to determine the effects of fundamentals of nursing skills education with peer evaluation on self-leadership, self-directed learning ability, and learning attitude. The factors affecting self-directed learning ability were peer evaluation, self-leadership, and learning attitude (F=118.81, p<.001), with an explanatory power of 50.4%. The factors affecting learning attitude were peer evaluation, self-leadership, and self-directed learning ability (F=48.89, p<.001), with an explanatory power of 29.5%. Based on the results of this study, we believe that it is necessary to apply various teaching methods such as peer evaluation and promote self-leadership to improve self-directed learning and learning attitude.

농촌지역사회 리더의 역할지위별 리더십역량 중요성취도분석 (IPA of Leadership Competency in the Rural Leader's Role)

  • The purpose of this study was to analyze leadership competency in the rural leader roles. The data were derived from 317 leaders in 97 rural communities by questionnaire. SPSSWIN/ver10 was adopted t-test and IPA (Importance-Performance Analysis) methods employed. The major findings of this study were as follows; Rural leaders should concentrate on developing coaching/feed back, program management skills, and presentation skills. Administrative head of village should pay attention to benchmarking, brand development and conflict resolution rather than resident management, service knowledge, and making relationships. Leaders of village development council should concentrate on brand development, benchmarking, and educating residents. Head of women's organizations should concentrate on developing assessments, educating residents, and resolving conflict skills, whereas members of Samaeul organization should try to concentrate on program management, coaching/feed back and presentation skills. Rural leaders showed different leadership competency by the IPA. Therefore, this study suggested that leadership education for rural leaders should consider leadership competency.

간호대학생의 셀프리더십, 공감능력과 우울이 대인관계능력에 미치는 영향 (Effects of Self-Leadership, Empathic Ability, and Depression on the Interpersonal Skills of Nursing Students)

  • Purpose : This study sought to determine the influence of nursing students' self-leadership, empathic ability, and depression on their interpersonal skills. Methods : This study applied a descriptive survey research design involving a self-report questionnaire. The participants were 315 nursing students in B city. Data were collected from April 27 to May 6, 2022. The data were analyzed using the percentage, mean, standard deviation, t-test, ANOVA, Scheffé test, Pearson's correlation coefficients, and multiple regression with IBM SPSS/WIN 23.0 program. Results : The participants' self-leadership score was 3.63±.65, their empathic ability score was 3.35±.40, their depression score was .84±.50, and their interpersonal skills score was 3.64±.80. Among the sub-categories, others' temperament scored the highest at 3.70±.86, followed by communication at 3.67±.86 and promoting relationships at 3.53±.86. Interpersonal skills were positively correlated with both self-leadership (r=.48, p<.001) and empathic ability (r=.33, p<.001). Self-leadership was positively correlated with empathic ability (r=.17, p<.05), but, negatively correlated with depression (r=.27, p<.001). The multiple regression analysis revealed, that the factors with the most significant effect on promoting relationships were, in descending order, self-leadership (β=.49, p<.001), empathic ability (β=.19, p<.001), and gender (β=.10, p=.033); the factors affecting others' temperament were, in descending order, self-leadership (β=.37, p<.001), empathic ability (β=.30, p<.001), severe depression (β=.14, p=.008), gender (β=.13, p=.010), and grade (β=-.13, p=.037); while the factors affecting communication were, in descending order, self-leadership (β=.41, p<.001), empathic ability (β=.23, p<.001), and gender (β=.11, p=.035). Moreover, the explanatory power of promoting relationships scored the highest at 31 %, followed by others' temperament at 27 % and communication at 26 %. Conclusion : The results of this study reveal the factors that influence the interpersonal skills of nursing students. To increase the interpersonal skills of nursing students, it is necessary to develop and apply regular curricula and programs designed to strengthen their self-leadership and empathic ability and to reduce their depression through reflecting differences between genders and grades.

동료평가를 활용한 실습교육평가방법이 핵심기본간호술 수행능력, 학습태도, 비판적사고 및 셀프리더십에 미치는 효과 (The Effects of Practice Education Evaluation using Peer Evaluation on Core Fundamental Nursing Skills Competency, Learning Attitude, Critical thinking and Self-Leadership)

  • 본 연구는 동료평가를 활용한 핵심기본간호술의 실습교육평가방법이 졸업반 간호학생의 핵심기본간호술 수행능력, 학습태도, 비판적사고 및 셀프리더십에 미치는 효과를 파악하고자 하였다. 연구대상자는 핵심기본간호술 교과목 수강자 4학년 학생으로 총 326명이었으며, 자료수집은 2018년 한 학기동안 실시하였다. 자료는 AMOS 20.0과 SAS 9.3 프로그램을 이용하였으며 t-test, ANOVA, Pearson correlation coefficient, Scheffe test로 분석하였다. 연구결과로, 동료평가를 활용한 핵심기본간호술 수행능력의 평균평점은 3.77(${\pm}.62$)점, 학습태도 3.17(${\pm}.47$)점, 비판적 사고는 3.44(${\pm}.41$)점, 셀프리더십은 3.60(${\pm}.49$)점으로 나타났다. 핵심기본간호술 수행능력은 성별, 간호학 전공만족도, 핵심기본간호술 실습만족도, 동료평가 전 사전학습여부, 동료평가 만족도에 따라 유의한 차이를 나타냈다. 핵심기본간호술 수행능력은 학습태도(r=.295, p<.001)와, 비판적사고는 핵심기본간호술 수행능력(r=.384, p<.001), 학습태도(r=.623, p<.001)와, 셀프리더십은 핵심기본간호술 수행능력(r=.353, p<.001), 학습태도(r=.529, p<.001), 비판적사고(r=.690, p<.001)와 유의한 순상관 관계를 나타냈다. 핵심기본간호술 수행능력에 영향을 미치는 요인은 구조방정식 모형을 적용하였으며 비판적사고, 셀프리더십으로 나타났다. 따라서 이러한 연구결과를 바탕으로 핵심기본간호술 수행능력 향상을 위해 학습태도, 비판적사고 및 셀프리더십을 고려한 핵심기본간호술 실습교육프로그램 개발이 필요할 것이다.

간호대학생의 자기효능감 및 의사소통 능력이 셀프리더십에 미치는 융복합적 영향 (The Effect of Self-efficacy and Communication ability to Self-leadership of Nursing student)

  • 본 연구 목적은 간호대학생의 자기효능감과 의사소통능력이 셀프리더십에 미치는 융복합적 영향을 확인하고자 시도하였다. 연구대상자는 일개 대학교의 재학생 320명을 대상으로 2018년 5월 2일 부터 5월 20일 까지 실시하였다. 자료분석방법은 SPSS 18,0을 이용하여 t-test, one-way ANOVA, pearson's correlation coefficient, stepwise multple regression으로 분석하였다. 연구결과는 일반적 특성에 따른 의사소통 능력은 학년, 셀프리더십은 나이, 학년에서 통계적으로 유의한 차이를 보였다. 자기효능감, 의사소통능력 및 셀프리더십간의 상관성은 셀프리더십과 의사소통능력(r=.376, p=000)은 통계적으로 유의한 정의 상관관계를 보였고, 대상자들의 의사소통능력이 셀프리더십을 14.1% 설명하는 것으로 나타났다. 이상의 결과로 간호대학생들의 대학생활 적응에 대한 다차원적인 이해를 돕고, 대학생활 적응을 위한 여러 가지 프로그램 개발과 방향 모색이 필요함을 제언한다.

고교시절 청소년활동이 대학생의 리더십 생활기술에 미치는 영향: 자아존중감 및 행복감의 매개효과 (The Effects of the Experience of Youth Activities during High School Years on the Leadership Life Skills of College Students: Mediating Effect of Self-esteem and Happiness)

  • 본 연구는 고교시절 청소년활동 경험이 대학생의 리더십생활기술에 미치는 영향을 검증하고 자아존중감과 행복감의 매개효과를 살펴봄으로써 청소년활동의 중요성을 알아보고자 하였다. 본 연구는 수도권지역 전문대학교 청소년 관련 학과에 재학 중인 학생들을 대상으로 그들이 고등학교 시기(17-19 세)에 참여한 청소년활동 실태와 자아존중감, 행복감 및 리더십생활기술을 측정하였다. 설문조사는 2차에 걸쳐 총 260부를 배포하였고, 234부를 최종분석에 사용하였다. 본 연구의 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 고교시절 청소년활동경험이 증가할수록 대학생의 리더십생활기술이 증가하였고, 자아존중감과 행복감이 높을수록 리더십생활기술이 증가하였다. 둘째, 자아존중감과 행복감은 고교시절 청소년활동 경험과 대학생 리더십생활기술 간의 관계에서 부분매개효과가 있는 것으로 나타났다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 청소년활동 경험을 통해 성인기에 필요한 역량 개발을 도울 수 있는 정책적, 실천적인 방안들에 대해 논의하였다.

공학 기술자들에게 요구되는 리더십 특성 - 공학 분야 대기업 인사담당자의 인식을 중심으로 - (A Qualitative Study on the Required Leadership for Engineers)

  • This qualitative research aimed to understand what leadership engineers need to have based on perceptions of people in charge of human resources in the large engineering companies in Korea. Focused group interviews were performed with 10 participants and the collected qualitative data were analyzed using the constant comparative method. The findings showed that the required leadership for engineers consists of six elements: technological professionalism, management skills, cross-functional skills, abilities to change organizational culture, work ethics, and technological creativity. This leadership elements were formulated in the engineering work environment and job characteristics which can be represented by technology-based professionalism, flexibility in work, and process-centered work. The implications for collegiate engineering leadership education were also suggested.
