리더의 나이와 리더 선출법이 집단 의사 결정에 미치는 영향 (The Influence of Leader's Age and Leader Selection on Group Decision Making)

  • 본 연구는 리더의 나이에 따라 집단 의사 결정이 어떻게 달라지는지 알아보고자 하였다. 연구 결과, 나이 많은 리더가 나이 적은 리더에 비해 토론 중 발언 비율이 높았으며, 나이 많은 리더가 속한 집단의 결정 정확률이 더 높았다. 또한 리더의 나이가 많은 경우, 집단 구성원들은 리더의 집단 대표성과 발휘된 리더십을 더 높게 인식하고 있었다. 한편, 리더의 나이가 집단 의사 결정에 끼치는 영향은 리더 선출법에 따라 달라졌다. 리더의 나이가 적은 경우에는 체계적인 방법으로 선출된 리더 집단의 토론의 질이 높게 나타난 반면, 리더의 나이가 많은 경우에는 무작위로 선출된 리더 집단의 토론의 질이 높게 나타났다. 이와 같은 결과는 리더가 소유한 권력 기반의 차이에서 비롯된 것이라 추론할 수 있다.

The Demographic Faultline Is a New Situational Factor for Team Management: The Effect of Leader Teamwork Behaviors on Support for Innovation

  • An alternative method for team diversity studies is to examine demographic faultlines. A concept of demographic faultline enables us to better understand team dynamics with multidimensional diversity. This study suggests the demographic faultline as a new situational factorto influence the relationship between leader teamwork behaviors and a climate of support for innovation. When subgroups divided by demographic faultline are homogeneous within them and heterogeneous between them, the homogeneity may increase intimacy in each subgroup while the heterogeneity may increase exclusiveness between those subgroups. We argued that a leader could play an important role to build a cooperative relationship between faultline-based subgroups and highlight positive aspects of developing and maintaining subgroups in organizations. With a sample of 81 teams (558 employees), it was examined how leader teamwork behaviors would affect a team-level climate of support for innovation and how this relationship would be moderated by each team's demographic faultline (gender, age, and educational specialty). As predicted, it was found that there was a significant positive relationship between each leader's teamwork behaviors and each team's climate of support for innovation. In addition, this relationship was stronger for teams with strong faultline than with weak faultline. Our findings and their implications were further discussed.

Convergence research on the speaker's voice perceived by listener, and suggestions for future research application

  • Although research on the leader's or speaker's voice has been continuously conducted, existing research has a single point of view. Sound analysis of voice characteristics has been studied from engineering perspectives, and leadership trait theory has been studied from a business perspective. Convergence studies on leader voice and member cognition are being attempted today. Convergence research on voice has a positive effect on refinement of voice analysis, diversification of voice use, and establishment of voice utilization strategy. This study explains the current flow of research on convergence between speaker's voice and listener's perception, and suggests a direction for the future development of voice fusion research. Furthermore, in connection with AI in the 4th industrial age, new attempts for voice research are sought. First, advances in AI focus on strategically generating the voices needed for individual situations. Second, the voice corrected in real time will support the leader and speaker to utilize the desired voice type. Third, voices through AI based on big data will affect the cognition, attitude and behavior of individual listeners who members, customers, and students in more diverse situations. The purpose and significance of this study is to suggest the way to research the leader's voice recognized by members, and to suggest a method that can be applied in various situations.

  • The purposes of this study were to investigate the hairdo attitude and hairdo involvement importances and differences depending on age. For the experimental work, questionnaires for research are prepared and asked to people who are women living in Seoul and Kyoung-Ki Do. They are collected from September to October 2006. 406 questionnaires are used in the analysis. The collected data were 'analyzed by using SPSS 12.0 software with factor analysis, Cronbach's alpha, paired T-test, and T-test. The results of this study were as follows; To analyze differences in the hairdo attitude and the hair involvement depending on different age groups, two groups were identified: one group of women aged $20{\sim}35$, and the other group of those aged $45{\sim}60$. 1. When the hairdo attitude factors were prioritized, orientations toward 'constancy' and 'consciousness of others' were found to be most critical, followed by those toward 'leader's fashion conformity' and 'distinct individuality'. When the hairdo involvement factors were prioritized, 'interests and pleasure in hairdo' were found to be most important, followed by 'symbolic representation', 'risk awareness', 'coordination of hairdo', and 'fashionableness'. 2. When difference in the hairdo attitude was analyzed, a significant difference was shown in orientations toward 'leader's fashion conformity' and 'consciousness of others'. 3. As for the hairdo involvement of the groups, a significant difference was found only in 'coordination of hairdo', signalling that the younger women put more focus on the coordination.

여성의 라이프스타일 유형에 따른 성형요구도: 울산지역을 중심으로 (A study on the interest of cosmetic surgery by women's lifestyles: in Ulsan area)

  • The purpose of this study was to analyze the co-relation with the types of lifestyle and interest of cosmetic surgery. The data were collected from 500 womens in Ulsan area. Frequencies, Cronbach's alpha, K-means Cluster analysis, T-test, one-way ANOVA and MCA were conducted by SPSS win 12.0k program. The results from this study were as follows: First, the types of women's lifestyles in Ulsan were divided with 4 groups such as the active leader, the display of originality, the loss of enthusiasm, and the prudent housekeeper. Second, interest of cosmetic surgery shows the difference in age and married or not. Interest of young single women was highest. Third, the display of originality group was highest in interest of cosmetic surgery among 4 groups. And the next was the active leader group. fourth, influences to the interest of cosmetic surgery was decreased both in age and lifestyle groups after excluding all the other variation factors. However, the interest was high in the 20th aged women and the display of originality group.

  • 채종원(採種園) 관리를 위해 개발된 여러 수종의 다양한 수형 조절 방법의 검토 및 이미 수형 조절 작업을 받은 16년생 접목 잣나무의 성장 조사와 I영급~III영급 조림지 임목의 성장 조사를 통하여 잣나무 인공림에서 잣과 목재를 생산할 수 있는 수형과 그 조절 방법을 제시하였다. 제 1형은 I~II영급에 잣 생산만을 위해 적용할 수 있는 방법으로 지상 1m 정도의 힘센 생지(生枝)를 포함하여 1m 정도 간격으로 4~5마디까지 남기고 단간(斷幹)하되 각 마디에 3~4개의 일차지(一次枝)를 윤생(輪生)으로 배치하는 변칙주간형(變則主幹型)이고, 제 2형은 잣과 목재 생산을 함께 도모하는 II영급~III영급에 적용이 가능한 방법으로 힘센 첫 생지 (지표에서 4m~8m)의 아래 부분은 무절(無節) 주간(主幹)으로 성장시키고 그 위는 1m 정도 간격으로 최고 4~5마디까지 남기고 단간하되 각 마디에 3~4개의 일차지를 윤생으로 배치하는 변칙주간형이며, 제 3형은 목재 생산만을 위해 지하고(枝下高)가 9m를 넘는 잣나무를 강도(强度)의 가지치기로 주간형(主幹型)을 이루게 하여 곧고 빠른 주간의 성장을 도모하는 방법이다.

정보사회에 있어서 어린이도서관인의 위상 (A Study on the Role of Children's Librarian in the 21st Century)

  • This article presents the role of children's librarian in the age of information. Preparing the 21st century, there should have been to identify the humanities of health, independent, creative, and moral fact with educating children in future Korea. Children's library should service all the children to improve the information skill and technology, to creat a whole person with high order intellectual thinking skill for the consumer, the voter and the leader of the next generation. It has been identified that the children's librarian should playas a mediator of literacy and culture of children, a creating counselor of personality, a negotiator of recoginating all knowledge, and a leader of the information skill or communication skill in the children education at the 21st century.

패션 주얼리 소비자들의 구매행동에 관한 연구: 점포와 무점포를 중심으로 (Fashion Jewerly Consumers' Purchasing Behavior: Store Retailing and Non-Store Retailing)

  • The purposes of this study were to examine fashion jewelry consumers' purchasing behavior, and to compare store retailing consumers and non-store retailing consumers. Subjects were 614 women in age from 20 to 55 years old in Seoul for this study. For data analysis, descriptive statistics, factor analysis, 2-test, and t-test were used. As the results, 52.9% of respondents had purchased fashion jewelry products via store retailing such as department store, road shop, discount store, while 47.1% of respondents had purchased them through non-store retailing such as internet shopping mall, TV home shopping, and catalog shopping. It revealed that conspicuous consumption had 2 factors: public-self consciousness and luxury product preference. Fashion leader consisted of 3 factors: fashion innovation, fashion interest, and fashion opinion leader. Brand royalty encompassed brand recognition, brand preference, and brand trust. Generally, store retailing consumers had more conspicuous consumption, higher fashion leadership, and stronger brand royalty than non-store retailing consumers. Based on these results, marketing strategies would be suggested for fashion jewelry markets.

  • 본 연구는 마을평생교육지도자양성과에 참여한 학습자의 개별적 리더십특성에 따라 프로그램 만족도를 알아보는 것이다. 본 연구의 중요한 연구목표를 보면, 마을평생교육지도자 양성과정의 개념을 살펴보고, 마을평생교육지도자에 관련된 이론을 탐색하며, 참여자의 개별적 특성별 리더십유형과의 프로그램만족도간의 상관관계를 파악해 보는 것이다. 본 연구를 통해 나타난 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 성별에 따라 거래적 리더십과 예외적 관리 리더십과의 유의미한 차이를 보이고 있다. 둘째, 평생교육에 대한 경험유무에 따라 변혁적 리더십유형의 하위 유형인 카리스마적 리더십과 거래적 리더십 하위유형인 예외적 리더십유형과의 유의미한 차이를 보이고 있다. 셋째, 변혁적 리더십의 평균값이 거래적 리더십의 평균값보다 높게 나타났다. 넷째, 변혁적 리더십을 지니고 있는 참여자의 하위리더십의 유형의 순위는 인간관계, 정신적 동기, 지적자극 및 카리스마 등으로 나타났다. 다섯째, 거래적 리더십을 지니고 있는 참여자의 하위리더십의 순위는 성취에 대한 보상, 예외적 관리 등으로 나타났다.

Demographic Characteristics and Small Business Success: Evidence from Indonesia

  • The demographic characteristics of a leader are important for small businesses during the COVID-19 pandemic. Several researchers have proven that demographic characteristics affect business success. Unfortunately, business success has only been analyzed from a financial perspective and has not been compared to the owner's interests perspective. This study examines business success from both perspectives. This study aims to analyze the demographic characteristics of small entrepreneurs and their impact on business success. Demographics consist of age, experience, education, and gender. Meanwhile, business success is seen from two perspectives: financial performance and the owner's interest. The study used an explanatory survey method. The number of samples is 155 entrepreneurs who are also the leaders of their businesses. The research was conducted in Bandung City, Indonesia, in 2021. The data was processed using descriptive statistics and multiple regression. The study results found that age only affects financial performance. Experience is proven to affect financial performance and the interests of the owner. Gender only affects the interests of the owner. This study concludes that in difficult times such as the COVID-19 pandemic, having young leaders who are experienced will make it easier to achieve business success.
