The technique of integrated design optimization is proposed to design spatial structures. Various element technologies such as topology optimization, layout editing and size optimization processes are used in an integrated manner to improve the performance of spatial structures. In order to demonstrate the present technique, a unit spatial structure is optimized and numerical results are described here.

This paper describes the SEAS which is a 2-dimensional graphic editor for schematic circuit and IC mask layout. This system runs on general purpose computer and Tektronix 4110 series graphic terminal. With this system, user can edit schematic circuits and/or IC mask layout with 2 level hierarchy. This system supports more than 20 kinds of built-in symbol, user definable internal symbols, 60 macros, 16 function keys, 4 level on-screen menu operation and edit-in-place of cell in main drawing. And it provides editing functions such as reflection, rotation, move and copy of one or a group of elements, and modification of polygona geometry etc. To improve the excution speed, we used local memory of graphic terminal. For the portability of the program, the system is written in FORTRAN 77 programming language.

Owing to the nature of locality in mask layouts, it appears that most mask layout problems can be solved by transforming a part of the given mask layout into a better layout segment continuously toward a global suboptimal solution. This notion of local transformation addresses major weak points of existing mask layout processing systems, which lack both extensibility and unifiability. This paper attempts to elaborate upon developing a new rule-based mask layout transformation system wherein most of the mask layout problems can be solved under the unified framework of local mask layout transformation. The rule-based mask layout transformation system is applicable to various mask layout problems such as net extraction, mask layout compaction, mask layout editing, and design rule checking. The experimental results show that the rule-based expert system approach is an efficient means of solving those mask layout problems, and thus confronting major drawbacks of existing layout processing systems.

This paper describes the method to extract CIF(Caltech Intermediate Form) by the digital image processing techniques from the VLSI chip. It is possible to represent to the layout editing system. The resolution of the image is 512 512 and 12 bits.

With Unity creating footage is possible by using 3D motion, 2D motion, particular, and sound. Even post-production video editing is possible by combining the footage. In particular, Cinemachine, a suite of camera tools for Unity, that greatly affects screen layout and the flow of video images, can implement most of the functions of a physical camera. Visual aesthetics can be achieved through it. However, as it is a part of a game engine. Thus, the understanding of the game engine should come first. Also doubts may arise as to how similar it is to a physical camera. Accordingly, the purpose of this study is to examine the advantages and cautions of virtual cameras in Cinemachine, and explore the potential for development by implementing storytelling directly.

본 연구는 네이버 뉴스스탠드의 10개 종합일간지 홈페이지에 대한 분석을 통해 온라인 신문의 지면구성 요소와 각 신문의 지면구성은 어떻게 차별화되고 있는가를 파악하기 위해 실시되었다. 자료 수집은 두 차례에 걸쳐 실시되었으며, 분석 방법은 일원분산분석(One-Way ANOVA) 기법을 이용하였다. 분석 내용은 시각적 이미지 유형, 사진기사와 제목기사 수, 메인기사 이미지의 크기다. 분석결과 종이신문과 차별화되는 오디오, 동영상, 카드, 슬라이드 형식의 뉴스기사 비율이 매우 낮았으며, 그래픽 소스를 이용한 뉴스기사도 극소수에 불과했다. 그러나 전체적인 면에서 네이버 뉴스스탠드의 신문들은 다양한 편집기법을 이용하여 지면의 차별화를 꾀하고 있었다. 본 연구의 의의는 신문의 뉴스소비 촉진을 위한 편집방향에 기초적인 단서를 제공할 수 있을 것이다. 뉴미디어 기술에 의한 미디어 생태계가 빠르게 재형성되고 있는 가운데 신문지면은 어떻게 변화되는가에 대한 지속적인 연구가 필요할 것이다.

작은 화면을 가진 이동 단말기에서 데스크탑 화면에 맞추어 제작된 웹 컨텐츠들을 브라우징 하는 것은 많은 어려움을 갖는다. 웹 페이지에는 이동 단말기용 브라우저의 제한된 기능으로 인해 표시할 수 없는 객체가 일부 포함되어 있는 경우도 있고, 브라우저에서 호환되지 않는 마크업 표준을 사용하여 브라우징 자체가 불가능할 수도 있다. 본 논문에서는 웹 페이지를 이동 단말기에 최적화된 형태로 변환할 수 있는 웹 클리핑 방식의 새로운 이동 인터넷 컨텐츠 적응 방법을 소개한다. 이 방법에서는 컨텐츠 제공자가 클립 편집기를 이용하여 설정한 클립 명세에 따라 원본 웹 문서가 자동으로 클리핑 되고 변환된다. 클립 편집기는 컨텐츠 제공자가 단일 클립, 그룹 클립, 다중 레벨 클립, 동적 클립을 설정하고, 문서의 레이아웃을 수정할 수 있도록 한다. 이렇게 설정된 클립 명세에 따라 원본 문서로부터 추출된 각 클립들은 먼저 중간 언어 형태의 문서로 변환되고, 이는 다시 이동 단말기를 위한 최종 마크업 문서로 변환된다. 또한 다양한 이미지 타입에 대한 변환기능을 제공한다.

본 연구에서는 지리정보시스템(GIS)을 이용하여 철도 연변 낙석, 산사태 관련 공간정보를 검색 및 출력 등을 관리할 수 있는 정보시스템을 개발하였다. 이를 위해 전국 철도 노선 중 낙석 및 산사태 발생 가능성이 높은 경춘선, 영동선, 중앙선, 태백선, 정선선의 2.5 km 혹은 5 km 반경 지역에 대해 철도 관련 정보, 각종 지도 관련 정보, 지형분석 정보, 수문기상 정보, 현장 조사된 낙석 관련 정보 등 각종 공간 데이터베이스를 구축하였다. 그리고 구축된 공간 데이터베이스를 관리하는 철도 연변 낙석, 산사태 정보시스템을 개발하였다. 본 정보시스템은 보기환경, 테이블환경, 차트환경, 레이아웃환경, 프로젝트환경 등 5개로 구성되어 있다. 본 정보시스템의 기능은 구축된 공간 데이터베이스를 입력, 검색, 출력 뿐 아니라 자료 변환, 자료 및 범례 편집, 라벨 생성, 화면 확대, 축소, 지도 작성 그림 편집, 문자 DB 관리, 차트작성, 도움말 등 다양하다. 본 정보시스템은 ArcView의 스크립트 언어인 Avenue를 이용하여 개발되었고 풀다운 메뉴 및 아이콘 방식을 채택하여 사용자가 사용하기 쉽게 개발되었다. 구축된 공간 데이터베이스와 개발된 정보시스템은 낙석 및 산사태 관리 및 분석을 위한 기본 자료 및 도구로 사용될 수 있다.

SGML(Standard Generalized Markup Language) is the ISO standard fer describing the logical structure of documents and is also adopted as the CALS standard for document description. Since then, there have been growing interests in SGML application in a variety of fields. However because SGML doesn't provide a standard method for describing various processing informations, ie, formatting and transformation, most applications have applied methods that are system dependent. Recently, ISO defined DSSSL(Document Style Semantics and Specification Language) as a standard mechanism to specify the formatting, transformation and retrieval of structured documents. Therefore, in this paper, we present a DSSSL processing system far style control of structured documents such as SGML documents. The system processes DSSSL style sheet that describes layout of documents and browses the result of its application to a SGML document. We have conducted tests on a lot of SGML documents and DSSSL style sheets successfully. Now, we are developing the SGML document management system that supports creation, editing, storage and retrieval of SGML document based upon the DSSSL processor and the SGML parser which we have developed.

This study aims to examine the way in which magazines represent housings, since magazines are one of major channel to connect individual houses with the public including professionals and the mass as well. Not only the professional architectural magazine but also women's magazine produce discourses which exercise huge influences on the public's understanding of the housings. After examining the different ways of representing housings in the houses related articles of architectural magazine and women's magazine, serious discrepancies have been noticed in both form and content of the text. In representing housings, women's magazine uses headlines and standfirsts with various modifiers to enhance the chance of interventions of the magazine/journalists. Focusing of the interests upon residents and architects, women's magazines force the reader to look at the housings through the frame of social status and celebrity of the residents and architects marginalizing actual houses. On the other hand, architectural magazines adopt externalized and objective way of representation using minimum layout elements following relatively uniform editing format. The abstract, rigid and masculine way of representation in the architectural magazines endow the published housings with the masculine and normative senses which can be seen as some sorts of aura which obstruct easy access to the housings themselves.
