리트벨트 작품의 공간표현 형식에 관한 연구 - 몽드리앙 작품과의 비교를 중심으로 - (A Study on the form of spatial expression shown in Rietveld's works - Focused on comparing with Mondrian's works -)

  • The purpose of this study is to find out the expression style of space in Rietveld's early works in comparison with Mondrian's paintings. Through investigating the development of their works and analyzing the composition and disposition type of elements such as point, line, plane, color in the selected works, we can draw the following conclusions. .First, Rietveld pursues the dissolution of traditional volume and the de-composition of elements as Mondrian does. Second, the painterly property of plane is emphasized by the projection of separately floating elements on the picture plane. Third, the separating the layer of lines from the layer of planes and the re-combination of these two layers present the superimpositional image of three-dimensional objects. This leads into new conception of architectural space and develops the transparency and the extension of plan in modem architecture.

유연한 구조의 모듈 합성 (Module Synthesis in Flexible Architecture)

  • A symbolic layout generator, called Flexible Module Generator (FMG), has been developed for transgorming a given CMOS circuit netlist into an optimized symbolic layout. Contrary to other conventional module generators which place transistors either in horizontal or in vertical direction, FMG places transittors in any hence can multiples of 90$^{\circ}$. This flexible layout style can maximize the diffusion sharing and hence can reduce the wire-length for both of area minimization and performance improvement. In FMG, transistors are initially randomly placed and then selected transistors are iteratively replaced using an optimization technique based on simulated evolution. Whenever a transistor is replaced, the affected nets are rerouted. Constraints on the shape, aspect ratio, and critical path delays are considered during the optimization process. Routing is performed by using a modified maze router on polysilicon, metal 1, and metal 2 interconnection layers. additional routing grids are added, if necessary, for complete routing. Unused rows or columns are removed after routing for area minimization. Experimental reasults show that FMG synthesizes satisfactory layouts.

A Survey of Seamus Heaney's "lanmore Sonnets" as Modern Pastoral Lyrics

  • Seamus Heaney, a famous Irish poet after Yeats, has written some pastoral lyrics from his experiences of farm life and childhood memories. These poems, in spite of his simple overt praise of a rustic farm life, have layers of meaning with their vast allusiveness and implications. He is an extremely literary writer dealing with history from the Celtic myth and a long English literary history. Though his style reminds that of a Victorian poet through his allusions of nature, he is a modern poet of innovative skills and senses. The explication of his representative sonnet sequence, the "Glanmore Sonnets" will reveal exquisite, complicated poetics of a modern poet. The poems are basically love poems, and the love is directed to his beloved wife, his lifetime companion. The poems relate the cultivation of a land to the poet's excavating language from the classics and to the images of love making. Through a careful reading of the sonnets this article will broaden our knowledge on how a modern love lyric of layered meanings can retain the past tradition in its complicated poetics.

Transient dynamic analysis of sandwich beam subjected to thermal and pulse load

  • Transient dynamic behavior of a sandwich beam under thermal and impulsive loads has been researched in the context of higher-order beam theory. The impulse load of blast type has been enforced on the top exponent of the sandwich beam while it is in a thermal environment. The core of the sandwich beam is cellular with auxetic rectangular pattern, whereas the layers have been built with the incorporation of graphene oxide powder (GOP) and are micromechanically introduced through Halpin-Tsai formulization. Governing equations for the sandwich beam have been solved through inverse Laplace transform style for obtaining the dynamical deflections. The connection of beam deflections on temperature variability, GOP quantity, pulse load situation and core relative density has been surveyed in detail.

내소사 대웅보전 포벽화 제작기법 연구 (Study on Manufacturing Techniques of Bracket Mural Paintings of Daeungbojeon Hall in Naesosa Temple)

  • 내소사 대웅보전 포벽화에 대한 벽체 구조 및 재질특성 그리고 채색층에 대한 정밀분석을 통해 제작기법을 연구하였다. 벽체 골조는 외가지 구조이며, 벽체층과 마감층 그리고 채색층의 세 층위로 구성되어있다. 벽체를 구성하는 벽체층 및 마감층은 석영과 장석류 등 모래와 황토를 혼합하여 제작하였다. 벽체층은 중립사 이상 크기와 세립사 이하 크기가 약 0.8:9.2 비율이고, 내 외부 마감층은 각각 약 6:4 비율로 벽체층보다 중립사 이상의 모래 비율이 상대적으로 높게 나타났다. 채색층 정밀분석 결과, 뇌록을 사용하여 최대 $456.15{\mu}m$로 비교적 두꺼운 바탕칠층을 마련하였으며 그 위로 녹염동광 및 백토 그리고 산화철 계통의 안료를 사용하여 채색하였다. 연구결과, 토벽체와 채색층 제작기법은 현재까지 연구된 조선시대 사찰벽화 제작양식 범주에 속하는 것으로 확인되었다. 그러나 마감층 모래 함량이 높고 중벽층과 짚여물이 확인되지 않는 점 등은 내소사 대웅보전 포벽화 벽체가 지닌 구조 및 재질특성으로서, 이와 같은 결과는 향후 벽화 보존상태 평가 또는 보존처리 방안 마련에 주요 정보가 될 수 있다.

진도 쌍계사 대웅전 벽화의 재질특성 및 제작기법 연구 (Study on the Characteristics of Materials and Manufacturing Techniques for the Mural Paintings in Daeunjeon at Ssanggyesa Temple, Jindo)

  • 본 연구에서는 진도 쌍계사 대웅전 내부 벽화를 대상으로 현미경 조사, SEM-EDS, XRD, 입도분석 등을 통한 과학적 조사를 실시하여 벽화의 구조 및 재질특성을 파악하였다. 분석결과 벽체는 모래와 풍화토 등 토양을 사용하여 벽체를 제작하였으며, 초벽층, 중벽층, 그리고 마감층의 층위를 구성한 점들을 미루어 볼 때 전형적인 사찰벽화 토벽화 제작양식을 반영하고 있다. 그러나 토벽체 위에 석회로 마감층을 조성하고, 그 위에 징크 화이트를 사용하여 바탕칠한점 등의 특이점이 확인되었다. 또한 채색층의 균열 양상, 화면의 광택, 두께감 있는 붓 터치 등 유화 기법으로 제작된 회화 표면과 유사한 특징들이 관찰되었다. 연구 결과, 진도 쌍계사 대웅전 내부 벽화는 흙으로 벽체를 조성하였으나, 채색층은 건성유를 사용한 서양화 기법이 쓰인 것으로 판단되며, 이는 국내 현존하는 사찰벽화에서 유화 기법이 사용된 최초 연구 사례로 볼 수 있다.

취약지역 마을의 건축경관이미지형성에 관한 연구 - 새뜰마을사업 대상마을을 중심으로 - (A Study on the Building of Architectural Landscape Image in the Vulnerable Community - Focused on the villages of SaethulMaul Project -)

  • The aim of this study is to build an architectural landscaping design ways of vulnerable community in rural area. I surveyed scenery structures, public buildings and single home forms, and fence types of house in twelve villages which have undertaken improving environment of rural community in four provinces. They all have an inferior surroundings to live in rural village, because they were isolated from the city, located on the mountain or island, and made a living under the slate materials of roof. The central government has been driving to reform the conditions with local office, so that they may increase their living qualities and village environment to get to the general level of rural area. There are three results of this study as follows: First, the scenery of the village surveyed has a remarkable views of locality and hierarchy of layers between field and mountain, which is very identified as a typical image of Korean rural topology. Second, the public buildings and single homes and outside wall of houses were personally designed or reformed as a various types like a flat slab style and different architectural structure, because they followed only to keep the architectural code rather than to make a harmony with other traditional style buildings. When they have to remodel it again through SaethulMaul project, they are needed to consider of both architectural code and design guideline for the local landscape design image. Third, to make a different landscape view of each village and improve housing conditions, it should be taken a people participation design way.

고분자 연료전지용 MEA 연속 코팅공정 개발 (Continuous Coating Process Development for PEFC Membrane Electrode Assembly)

  • Membrane electrode assembly (MEA) for polymer electrolyte fuel cell (PEFC) are commonly prepared in the research laboratory by spraying, screen-printing and brushing catalyst slurry onto membrane or other support material like carbon paper or polyimide film in a batch style. These hand applications of the catalyst slurry are painstaking process with respect to precision of catalyst loading and reproducibility. It has been generally mentioned that the adoption of continuous process is very helpful to develop the reliable product. In the present work, we report the results of using continuous type coater with doctor-blade to coat catalyst slurry for preparing the MEA catalyst layers In a faster and highly reproducible fashion. We show that while expectedly faster than batch style, the machine coater requires the use of slurry of appropriate composition and a properly selected transfer decal material in order to achieve superior MEA plat lnw loading reproducibility. To make highly viscous catalyst slurry that is imperative for using coater, we use 40wt.% Nafion solution and minimize the content of organic solvent. And the choice of proper high surface area catalyst is important in the viewpoint of making well-dispersed slurry. After catalyst coating onto the support material, we transferred the catalyst layer to both sides of Nafion membrane by hot-pressing In this case, the degree of transfer was Influenced by hot-pressing condition including temperature, pressure, and time. To compare the transferring ability, we compared so many films and detaching papers. And among the support, polyethylene terephthalate(PET) film shows the prominent result.

수묵화를 이용한 VR 융합콘텐츠 제작공정 연구 (A Study on VR Convergence Contents Creation Process ink painting)

  • 최근의 VR 기술을 애니메이션 영역에 적용하는 것은 필연적인 추세로 보여진다. 이러한 VR 기술을 기존의 수묵애니메이션에 활용하면 평면적인 예술 작품이 새로운 서사방식과 시청각 언어를 갖추어 새로운 애니메이션 장르로 갖추게 될 것으로 보인다. 하지만 새로 개발하는 것이 아닌 기존의 평면적인 수묵 이미지를 360도 화면에 배치하기 위해서는 기술적으로 많은 어려움이 존재하는데 기존에 제작된 수묵 애니메이션의 배경 수묵 이미지에서 거리의 깊이에 따른 레이어 추출과 360도 공간에 이들을 깊이에 따른 곡면에 배치를 통해 VR 공간에 깊이감을 부여하는 VR수묵 애니메이션을 제작해 보려하였다. 본문에서는 기존의 수묵화 이미지에서 원경, 근경, 중경 레이어를 추출하는 과정에서 발생하는 문제점을 살펴보고 이를 해결하기 위한 접근 방법들을 찾아보고 제시해보려 하였다.

파티웨어 디자인 개발을 위한 국내 여성 캐릭터 캐주얼 브랜드 디자인 분석 (Analysis of Domestic Woman Character Casual Brand Design for Party Wear Design Development)

  • Many efforts to develop the domestic fashion industry have continued under the influence of a rapidly changing fashion industry environment. The fashion industry has emerged as a future growth industry leading lifestyle and as a core industry for the culture biz. Since the 2000's the markets that combined party and fashion wear as a new cultural trend has grown and an in-depth study of design development for party wear is required. This study presents basic materials for design development for the future domestic woman character casual brand prior to the design development by analyzing design characteristics of domestic female character casual brands. In the research methods, nine brands were selected based on the discussion of ten fashion specialists and then the brand concept, target, configuration of items, price, and design characteristics were analyzed. The following conclusions were drawn from this study. First, each brand concentrated the main focus on establishing a clear and unique brand identity that meets the needs of consumers to enhance competitiveness in the woman's dress market. To enhance competitiveness, many character casual brands targeting women aged 20's and 30's (including BEART) held party wear goods exhibitions as the market for party wear has increased significantly. Second, according to study results of the selected nine brand designs, it was found that the style characteristic of each brand varies depending on concept. However, all nine brand designs developed various styles such as feminine and cute style making use of laces, ruffles, A line silhouette, colorful motifs, and a stylish style that used layers with various materials along with unique decorations based on romantic emotions. Third, seven hundred and thirty eight pictures of nine brands were analyzed by items without identifying brands. According to the result of the analysis, the percentage of items used by brands was as follows: a one-piece dress was 34.5%, jacket 25.7%, skirt and pants 15.5%, blouse and shirt 13.6%, and tops 10.6%. The result showed that one-piece dresses accounted for the highest percentage. Frill accounted for 16.6%, the highest percentage followed by ribbons at 16% in regards to detail and trimming.
