A new pathlength deviation detection technique which is composed of michelson interferometer is described and verified experimentally. The technique uses a sub-threshold biased visible laser diode of 20$\mu$m coherence length as a low-coherent light source. And for zeroth-order fringe(which is the largest among fringes) identification we used a piezoelectric transducer with a large modulation smplitude, which enables without the need of constant velocity scanning, to distinguish reflection surfaces separated by more than 10$\mu$m with a resolution of less than half-wavelength.

It is important to keep a constant transmittance of dielectric during firing. To control the shrinkage and fusion stage of frits in firing, we used a hot stage microscope (HSM) to analyze the thermal properties of the lead and bismate glass frits by the in-situ method. This research would be useful for improving the reliability of transmittance of dielectric during firing in industry using a large furnace with temperature deviation.

We consider a solution process of stochastic differential equation(SDE) driven by S'($R^d$)-valued Wiener process and study a large deviation type of estimates for the process. We get an upper bound in exit probability for such a process to leave a ball of radius $\tau$ before a finite time t. We apply the Ito formula to the SDE under the structure of nuclear space.

In this paper, we propose a new technique of estimating tail of steady-state queue length distribution; Pr(Q>q), fo ATM multiplexer. Pr(Q>q) is a fundamental measure of network congestion. Assessing Pr(Q>q) properly is crucial for design and control of ATM networks. Data traffic pattern of high-speed networks is highly correlated and bursty. Estimating Pr(Q>q) is very difficult because of correlation and burstiness. We estimate entropy(rate-function) using large deviation principles and threshold bootstrap. Simulation studies are conducted to compare the performance of an existing method and our new method.

Indoor air quality(IAQ) in museum is very important for protection of cultural properties. In our study, we measured air pollutants($NO_x, NH_3, SO_2, O_3$, CO, $CO_2$, TSP), temperature and humidity to evaluate IAQ of national central museum. Indoor carbon dioxide and TSP concentrations were higher than outdoor concentrations. Temperature, huinidity and TSP had large deviation depending on air conditioning operates or not. Indoor gas phase pollutants except $CO_2$ were lower than outdoor concentrations, but $SO_2$ concentration was high in storage. $CO_2$ and TSP were influenced by the number of spectators.

Extensive search over the energy surface of bicyclo[4.2.2]decapentaene with MMP2 molecular mechanics method and AM1 semiempirical MO method revealed only one, deep energy minimum structure, which corresponds to 1. The alternative structure 2 could not be identified as a stationary point. Although the deviation of benzenoid ring from planarity is large in the energy minimum structure (${\phi} = 26^{\circ}$(MMP2), $37^{circ}$ (AM1)), the bond lengths show no severe alternation.

Purpose - I analyzes risk-to-performance evaluated in the market using data from sale and lease back. Specifically, I analyze from the perspective of financial institutions that purchase sale and lease back based on the cases of investment by ship investment companies and acquisition of ships. Design/methodology/approach - I use 49 sale and lease back data from 2017 to 2019 for empirical analysis. Findings - The main results of this paper are as follows. First, after sale and lease back of domestic ships, the average amount of sales by the leased shipping company is 25.1 billion won, the average amount of investment by the purchased financial institution is 14.6 billion won (60%) and the average length of the ship is nine years. In ship finance, sale and lease back is deemed to be appropriately used as a means of restructuring for a large amount of money. Second, the main risk factor for sale and lease back of domestic ships is credit risk and can be measured in VaR in practice. As a result of the empirical analysis, the average credit risk burden ratio is 9%. As a major risk factor, low creditworthiness of restructuring companies is the key. Third, as a result of measuring the profitability of financial institutions that purchase sale and lease back of domestic ships at a net current price, it has an average value of 300 million won, but the deviation by case is very large. Fourth, the risk adjusted performance of sale and lease back of domestic ships is 0.54 on average compared to the total risk capital, and 0.52 compared to the stock-risk capital, and as with profitability earlier, the deviation of each case is very large and misaligned. In order to boost the sale and lease back market for large and long-term assets, in order to overcome low profitability as a prerequisite for future participation of commercial purchased financial institutions, it is expected that purchase decisions based on expectations versus risk will be necessary. Research implications or Originality - The results of this paper are expected to broaden the understanding of sale and lease back and foster the ability to assess long-term risk and performance. Based on this, it is believed that rapid restructuring of companies through sale and lease back of large amounts of long-term assets will greatly increase the utility of the domestic financial market.
