  • 본 연구는 비축출형 우선순위 2-계층 대기행렬을 다룬다. 각 계층별 고객들은 마코비안 도착과정(Markovian arrival process, MAP)에 의하여 시스템에 도착하고, 각 계층마다 고유의 임계점을 갖는다. 시스템 내에 고객들이 존재하지 않으면 서어버는 유휴해지고 어느 계층이든지 상관없이 계층에 부여된 임계점에 먼저 도달하면 서어버는 서비스를 시작한다. 우선순위가 높은 고객들을 먼저 서비스하는 비축출형 우선순위 서비스규칙을 따른다. 본 연구에서는 각 계층별 고객들의 대기시간분포에 대한 라플라스(Laplace-Stieltjes) 변환과 평균 대기시간을 유도한다.

Analysis of Transient Response of an Engine to Throttle Tip-in/Tip-out (차량 감/가속시의 엔진의 동적 응답 해석)

  • In this paper dynamic responses of an engine, which is supported by hydraulic mount, to throttle tip-in/Tip out are analyzed. Because the hydraulic mounts have non-linearity that the characteristics of stiffness and damping vary with frequencies, it is difficult to analyze the dynamic behavior of an engine using general integral algorithms. Convolution integral and relationship between unit impulse response functions and frequency response functions are therefore used to simulate the transient behaviors of an engine indirectly. In time domain, impulse response functions are calculated by two-side discrete inverse courier transform of frequency response function achieved by laplace transform of equations of motion. Considering the fact that the shapes of behavior of an engine simulated by the proposed method are in good agreement with test results, it is confirmed that the proposed method is very effective for the analysis of transient response to throttle tip-in/out of an engine with hydraulic mounts.

  • Transfer function of Buk DC-DC converter is derived using Laplace transformed LC filter. Using root locus and simulation waveform, this paper shows that Type2 controller proposed in reference has poor performance. Using root locus PI controller has designed. Using operational amp, PI controller is realized. Properly operated Type2 controller is proposed and proved using simulation result.

  • The present paper proposes a new dynamic analysis method for multi-span Timoshenko beam structures supported by joints with damping subject to moving loads. An exact dynamic element matrix method is adopted to model Timoshenko beam structures. A generalized modal analysis method is applied to derive response formulae for beam structures subject to moving loads. The proposed method offers an exact and closed form solution. Two numerical examples are provided for validating and illustrating the proposed method. In the first numerical example, a single span beam with multiple moving loads is considered. A dynamic analysis on a multi-span beam under a moving load is considered as the second example, in which the flexibility and damping of supporting joints are taken into account. The numerical study proves that the proposed method is useful for the vibration analysis of multi-span beam-hype structures by moving loads.

A Study about Pipe Shape Inspection System for Computer Vision (컴퓨터 비젼을 이용한 파이프 형상 검사시스템에 관한 연구)

  • In this paper, a computer-vision based pipe shape inspection algorithm is developed. The algorithm uses the modified Hough transformation and a line-scanning approach to identify the edge line and radius of the pipe image, from which the eccentricity and dimension of the pipe-end is calculated. Line and circle detection was performed using Laplace operator with input image, which are acquired from the front and side cameras. In order to minimize the memory usage and the processing time, a clustering method with the modified Hough transformation for line detection. The dimension of inner and outer radius of pipe is calculated by proposed line-scanning method. The method scans several lines along the X and Y axes, calculating the eccentricity of inner and outer circle. by which pipes with wrong end-shape can be classified removed.

  • A new modeling and analysis technique for one-dimensional distributed parameter systems is presented. First. discretized equations of motion in Laplace domain are derived by applying discretization methods for partial differential equations of a one-dimensional structure with respect to spatial coordinate. Secondly. the z and inverse z transformations are applied to the discretized equations of motion for obtaining a dynamic matrix for a uniform element. Four different discretization methods are tested with an example. Finally, taking infinite on the number of step for a uniform element leads to an exact dynamic matrix for the uniform element. A generalized modal analysis procedure for eigenvalue analysis and modal expansion is also presented. The resulting element dynamic matrix is tested with a numerical example. Another application example is provided to demonstrate the applicability of the proposed method.

  • A large time asymptotic solution for an unsteady heat conduction problem of a coated hot wire thermal conductivity measurement process was theoretically found. The solution revealed that the slope of wire temperature versus logarthmic time, which is used to evaluate the thermal conductivity, remains unchanged for large values of time even if a layer of coating is present on the hot wire. The significance of this result is that the thermal conductivity of an electrically conductive fluid can be measured with a coated hot wire using the same conversion relation as for a bare wire.

  • The vibration analysis of a rotating cantilever beam with tip mass was studied by using DTM(differential transformation method). DTM is one of the numerical methods, for finding series solutions by transforming differential equations to algebraic ones similar with Laplace transform. The advantages of the DTM are that it is easy to understand and is effective in finding numerical solutions. Applying DTM, the natural frequencies of a rotating cantilever beam were obtained taking into consideration the effects of tip mass. Also, convergence study of DTM was performed to decide the number of terms used in eigenvalue problems. Numerical results obtained by DTM show good agreement with those by other methods. As a result, it is expected that DTM can be a useful method in vibration analysis such as that of a rotating cantilever beam with tip mass.

정4각 덕트 입구영역에서 층류정상 유동특성에 관한 연구

  • 본 연구에서는 정4각 단면덕트의 입구영역에서 층류 정상유동의 유동특성을 이론적 및 실험적인 방법으로 속도파형과 속도분포를 얻어서 유동이 발달되고 있는 유 동특성과 입구길이를 규정하였다. 이론적인 방법으로는 덕트입구영역에서 공기유동 에 대한 운동량방정식을 유도한 후, 운동량방정식 중의 비선형인 대류항을 선형화시켜 서 Laplace변환으로 속도 분포식의 해를 구하였고, 실험적인 방법으로는 시험덕트의 크기가 40*40*4,000nm(가로*세로*높이)인 정 4각단면덕트에 송풍기로 공기를 흡입 하여 정상유동을 얻었고, 열선유속계에 의하여 속도파형과 속도분포 등의 측정한 결과 를 이론식과 비교검토하였다.
