기존의 중국 유학생의 대학생활에 대한 연구는 한국에 재학 중인 중국유학생을 대상으로 설문 조사를 하였지만, 중국 유학생들은 한국 대학에 대하여 소속감과 대학에 대한 선입견을 가지고 있어서 객관성이 심히 우려된다. 이에 본 논문은 중국의 일반인을 대상으로 설문조사를 실시하여 유학생 유치와 관련한 매체탐색을 수행하였다. 외국인 유학생 모두가 한국어에 능숙한 것은 아니다. 심지어 한국어 교육원에서 1년 이상의 교육을 이수하거나 한국어능력시험(TOPIK) 고급을 합격한 학생들조차, 일상생활에서 말하기와 학위를 취득하기에 어려움을 겪고 있었다. 본 연구결과에 의하면, 국내 대학들은 외국학생 유치를 위해서, 한국어능력이 부족한 외국인 유학생이 한국에서의 문화적응과 정보습득이 능숙하게 할 때까지, 그들의 모국어로 유학생활에 필요한 학업정보나 일상정보를 얻을 수 있도록 다국어가 지원되는 콘텐츠 서비스를 준비하는 것이 바람직하다.

This study separated different factors into the Korean Wave and Korean health food according to the interest in Korean culture among the Chinese living in China. We then conducted a two-step cluster analysis with gender, marriage status, academic background, interest in Korean culture, command of the Korean language and the status of having visited Korea as variables. The subjects were split into a Korean wave-preferring group, highly interested in Korean food as health food group and a low interested group according to clusters, and we then investigated for preference differences for 20 Korean food dishes. Between these two groups the statistics indicated a significant influence with a level p<0.001 for Bulgogi, Bibimbap, Kimchi, Galbi-tang, Galbi-gui, Chicken, Samgyepsal, Doenjang-Jjgae, Dak-galbi, Japchae and Gimbap p<0.01 for Samgye-tang and p<0.05 for Naengmyeon, Kimchi-Jjigae, Dak-galbi, Seolleongtang, Haemul-tang, Hanjeongsik and Tteok-bokki. Jeon and Juk did not show any statistically significant difference. Chinese consumers preferred Korean food for Samgyeopsal, Bulgogi and chicken and less preferred gruel, Hanjeongsik and Kimchi-Jjigae. The highly interested in Korean culture group preferred Samgyeopal, Bulgogi and Chicken, and less preferred Juk, Jeon and Hanjeonsik in that order. This study offers information on the Chinese's preference for different Korean food to any food service enterprises that manage Korean restaurants in China or that sell Korean cuisine and also basic data for differentiated marketing to those entering the Chinese market.

Research on the birth (起源) and names (語源) of foods such as kimchi is important to understand traditional food culture. kimchi, an 'add flavored, fermented, pickled, vegetable food' was initially prepared with the simple purpose of increasing storage capabilities, but later, through a complex process of change, morphological diversification occurred. In addition to the basic name of 'kimchi', each variety has its unique name and history. This study was conducted through qualitative research using various research methods, such as oral records and interviews, as well as investigation of data from literature, including ancient literature, modern cookbooks, newspapers, magazines, papers, and videos. The study sought to investigate the context and the meaning of the name Chonggak kimchi. In addition, it is a compilation of how the name spread through the ages and evolved to its current name. The name Chonggak kimchi did not exist during the Joseon Dynasty and Japanese occupation and first appeared in the records in the late 1950s. Nevertheless, the original name of 'Altarimu kimchi' evolved and finally became a part of the standard Korean language (標準語) in 1988. In the process of the name spreading and becoming popular, the movie "Chonggak kimchi (1964)," starring Shin, S.I., and Eom, A.R. played a significant role. It was also confirmed that this was a meaningful and valuable case of contentization of traditional food culture, regardless of the intention behind the same.

Sung Yung Shin was adopted as a Korean infant to an American family. She is now one of the most important writers in Asian American literary field. This paper analyzes the characteristics of her literature, focusing on Skirt full of Black (poetry)and Cooper's Lesson(children's book). Sun Yung Shin uses collage in Skirt full of Black as an effective rhetorical device because it can express her experience as an adopted other in the multicultural American society. She rewrites the fairy tale of Swan Prince in the viewpoint of silence. For a yellow Asian adopted woman, speaking is suppressed. In the end, the attempt to escape from silence is the writer's resisting activity, and the rewriting of the tale is her questioning in place of the princess. I analyses Cooper's Lesson in the viewpoint of transcultural assimilation. Cooper's lesson is accomplished not by his white father but by a Korean settler, Mr. Lee. Cooper's family is a hybrid composed of white American father, Korean mother, and their half son. So this family has many complicated difficulties, though it's small. Mr. Lee who accepted a new language to establish a new identity teaches Cooper the importance of cultural assimilation, which is not a one-sided integration to dominant culture but an intercultural communion while sustaining each culture's singularity. Cooper learns that he should live in an harmonious and balanced life in a multi-cultural society while keeping his own subjective point of view.

The main concern of the study is the playwrights' perspectives toward the relationship between society and individuals rather than specific cultural or social circumstances. This study is justified in that the similarities of both playwrights not only provide an opportunity to bridge two different cultures, but they also help readers understand another culture and deepen the understanding of their own culture in the map of international literature. In their plays, both Miller and Cha express an individual's or a family's frustration, conflict, pleasure, and hope as reflected in the social circumstances. The characters take ideas and values from their social world and thrive or fail. Specifically, I have focused on three elements--obsession, generational value systems, and alienation. With three common features, I examine how closely Miller and Cha deal with ordinary people's tragedies.

This study examines online social media diffusion across different countries that will help to provide a picture of current global online social network services (SNSs). Analyzing country-level data drawn from 78 nations, we find that non-technological factors such as culture and language as well as technological factors including Internet penetration rate and smartphone adoption rate have significant effects on online social media diffusion. These findings, derived from a broad range of different countries, not only provide theoretical insights into understanding critical factors that enable successful global expansion of online social media services but also help practitioners plan their marketing strategies more effectively in a global context.

AR/VR 기술을 활용한 어학교육을 위한 콘텐츠 개발은 5G 상용화에 맞추어 필연적으로 추진해야할 과제이며, 이를 체계적으로 관리하고 서비스를 위한 서비스 플랫폼에 대한 연구는 현재 글로벌 기업들이 경쟁적으로 참여하고 있으나, 아시아 문화권의 독특한 영역에 대한 독창적인 언어교육 서비스 모델은 한국과 중국이 공동협력으로 연구개발을 추진해야할 당위성을 가지고 있다. 본 연구에서는 기 개발된 "이러닝 기반의 중국인을 위한 한국어교육 서비스 플랫폼"을 AR/VR 콘텐츠의 수용이 가능하도록 개선하여 적용하고, 동영상 기반의 어학교육 콘텐츠를 AR/VR 기술을 적용하여 상호작용이 가능하도록 콘텐츠를 구성하여 어학교육의 새로운 패러다임을 제시하고자 한다. 콘텐츠의 개발은 AR 기반의 단어학습이 가능한 서비스를 완성하고, VR기반의 단계별 상황에 맞는 체험학습 콘텐츠를 개발하여 초급/중급/고급에 이르는 어학교육 서비스가 가능하도록 단계적으로 콘텐츠를 개발한다. 서비스 플랫폼은 학습관리와 학습 콘텐츠에 대한 관리가 가능하도록 하며, 메타데이터 속성을 보완하여 대용량 AR/VR 콘텐츠의 수용이 가능한 플랫폼을 완성하도록 한다. 향후 혼합현실 기술이 적용된 다양한 콘텐츠 개발을 통하여 교육서비스 포탈로서 발전이 가능하도록 체계적인 연구를 수행하도록 한다.

최근 ChatGPT 등 거대언어모델(Large Language Models)의 활용은 대화형상거래, 모바일금융 서비스 등 다양한 분야에서 사용이 증가하고 있다. 그러나 주로 기존 문서를 학습하여 만들어진 거대언어모델은 문서에 내재된 인간의 다양한 편향까지도 학습할 수 있다. 그럼에도 불구하고 거대언어모델에 편향과 차별의 양상에 대한 비교연구는 거의 이루어지지 않았다. 이에 본 연구의 목적은 거대언어모델안에 9가지 차별(Age, Disability status, Gender identity, Nationality, Physical appearance, Race ethnicity, Religion, Socio-economic status, Sexual orientation)의 존재유무 또는 그 정도를 점검하고 발전 방안을 제안하는 것이다. 이를 위해 차별 양상을 특정하기 위한 도구인 BBQ (Bias Benchmark for QA)를 활용하여 ChatGPT, GPT-3, Bing Chat 등 세가지 거대언어모델을 대상으로 비교하였다. 평가 결과 거대언어모델에 적지 않은 차별적 답변이 관찰되었으며, 그 양상은 거대언어모델에 따라 차이가 있었다. 특히 성차별, 인종차별, 경제적 불평등 등 전통적인 인공지능 윤리 이슈가 아닌 노인차별, 장애인차별에서 문제점이 노출되어, 인공지능 윤리의 새로운 관점을 찾을 수 있었다. 비교 결과를 기반으로 추후 거대언어모델의 보완 및 발전 방안에 대해 기술하였다.

교육 현장에서 감정은 기억, 학습 성취, 동기부여에 있어 핵심적으로 중요한 요인으로 알려져 있다. 본 연구에서는 초등학교 아동들을 대상으로 감정적 개입(emotional engagement)을 촉진하기 위해 기능성 게임을 학습 현장에서 활용할 수 있는지를 확인해보고자 하였다. 이를 위해 영어 학습용 기능성 게임 '워드 콜렉트리안'을 이용하여 탐색 연구를 진행하였다. 워드 콜렉트리안은 인터액션을 통한 단어의 동적 시각화와 맥락 영상의 제시를 통한 상황 인지, 완성된 단어의 배치를 통한 단어에 대한 애착 고취 등을 활용하여 아동들이 감정적으로 영단어 학습에 효과적으로 개입할 수 있도록 설계하였다. 1차 프로토타입을 활용한 기초 실험 결과 워드 콜렉트리안이 학습 효과와 감정 개입의 효과를 모두 불러일으킬 수 있는 가능성이 있음을 확인할 수 있었다.

본 연구는 한국 언론 보도에 나타난 게임 관련 담론 분석을 통해 게임이라는 미디어에 대한 우리 사회의 인식과 지형도를 가늠하고자 하는 것이다. 미디어는 현실을 거울처럼 단순히 반영하는 것이 아니라 특정한 방식으로 재현한다. 한국의 언론은 게임의 의미를 어떻게 구성하여 재현하고 있는가? 본 연구는 박근혜 정부 4년 동안 조선, 중앙, 동아, 경향, 한겨레 등 5대 일간지의 게임 관련 기사 479건에 나타난 게임 담론의 특성을 분석하였다. 연구 결과 단일 이슈로는 게임 중독 프레임, 중독 폐해 프레임, <포켓몬고>를 비롯한 AR게임 프레임이 상당한 비중을 차지하고 있었으며, 게임의 본질인 놀이 문화와 관련된 담론은 불과 3.8%에 불과함을 확인할 수 있었다.
