A Study on the Traditional Sash of‘She’Ethnic Group in China (중국 소수민족 이족의 채대)

  • This paper is focused on the traditional sash weaving handicraft of‘She’ethnic group, which is located in Fujian, Zhejiang, Jiangxi, Guangdong province of China. This research is main-ly based on the field work, analyzed and inter-preted the traditional sash in systematic and reasoned way. The summary of this study are as follows : 1. On its technological aspect, weaving structure of the traditional sash is made of warp rod backed weaving. The used tool is primitive one but the weaving process includes scientific method. 2. From the social-cultural point of view, the sash ha been the symbol of love towards her lover. Every woman of this group had taken training for this sash weaving from a child. 3. On its ethnological aspect, it has been long history and has interchanged with other ethnic group like Miao, Han and also Okinawa country of Japan. The pattern inside this sash are almost looks like characters, but they are not Chinese characters whereas are the inde-pendent code of‘She’ group and have been inherent from ancestors and which will be tran-smitted to their posterity. These independent code of‘She’group are the traditional message to their later generation implicating their natural circumstances, human relationship, ethnic myth, spirit etc. 4. I recognize that the pattern inside the sash is defined as the communicative code and in comparison to language, it is more repetition and less apparent as close code. Nowadays China has been developed es-pecially in the economical fields rapidly. Under the circumstances traditional weaving culture of ethnic groups has been facing a crisis of disappearance, which will be a great loss for the country as well as the human beings. For this reason, I emphasize that it is very immediate to make co-researches into the material culture of Chinese ethnic groups.

  • The purpose of this study suggest the fashion of communication for 21th century fashion. Especially, Memphis fashion have the possibility of communicating through objects. The results of this study are as follows : First, Memphis idea is to make design into a sophisticated, conscious instrument of communication. As the Memphis fashion points out : design is an extraordinary tool for communicating because its intrinsic characteristic is the fact that it is used and distributed anyway, even without communicating anything. The Memphis fashion is trying to connect design and industry to the broader culture within which fashion moves. Second, Using different materials provides not only new structural Possibilities. but - above all - new semantic and metaphoric possibilities, order modes of communication, another language, and even a change of direction, broadening of perspective, appropriation and digestion of new values and the concomitant rejection of traditional structures that renewal always Involves. The memphis fashion works on the fabric of contemporaneity (lurex yarn, latex, chrome metal and steel) and contemporaneity means computers, electronics, a new awareness of the body. mass exercise and tourism. Third, color in Memphis has never been an ideological vehicle. As with decoration it is born tilth the design, forming an integral part of the structure. It alters the objects molecules. It works as a mass, as an intrinsic feature of a certain form and volume. The Memphis fashion was realized the introduction of ultramodern science into such experimental and creative implementation as optical motive, brilliancy of colour of electronic medium in audition to metallic fabric and high technical synthetic fiber.   • Hayao Miyazaki provides pleasure which go beyond the barrier of culture and language through realizing pan-cultural and mythical space which can communicate with the audience through unique, aesthetic expression. In his animation storytelling, diverse tangible and intangible symbolic elements based on the traditional culture inherent to Japan are actively utilized, and he provides the audience with the aesthetic pleasure of arbitrary interpretation and contemplation by composing the system of connotative signification through such symbols. In this process, he creates the value of the system of meaning which clearly conveys the mythical message of connotative meaning of the work through the aesthetic form based on the universal experience of confrontation and coexistence. It can be said that this is the communicative value of animation storytelling pursued by Hayao.

The Effects of Elderly's Participation in Lifelong Education on the Ego Integrity, and The Mediating Effect of Life Satisfaction (노인평생교육 참여가 자아통합감에 미치는 영향과 생활만족도의 매개효과)

  • This study focused on the relationship between elderly's participation in lifelong education(participation availability, participating fields) and ego integrity. To verify the correlation of two variables, mediating model structured by life satisfaction was used. The data was Seoul Welfare Panel Data made by Seoul Welfare Foundation in 2010 and the total subject was 1,862 elderly aged over 60. When it comes to research methods, structured equation analysis for verifying the mediating effect was practiced. The findings are as follows: First, life satisfaction did function as partial mediator on relationship between elderly's participation in lifelong education and ego integrity. Second, elderly's life satisfaction increased as participating in field of language, not in field of culture and art. Ego integrity of elderly was increased as participating in field of culture and art, not in field of self-improvement and hobby. This study indicates theoretical and practical interventions to promote elderly's lifelong education based on the conclusion elderly's lifelong education participation in the aging society has positive effects on life satisfaction and ego integrity are meaningful for successful aging.

  • The purpose of this study is to introduce the NHK"NEWS WEB EASY"online site to intermediate level learners of Japanese language, and to teach effective methods of Blended Learning through the lesson planning method using "NEWS WEB EASY" Suggesting. First, this paper helped students cultivate various vocabulary learning ability through Blended Learning using "NEWS WEB EAS Y", Second, helped them learn about Japanese culture and Japan through various articles, Third, helped them naturally perform listening training through listening files, Fourth, helped them practice reading Kanji and improve vocabulary skills by distributing the files without Furigana to them for search, and Fifth, showed them how to improve speaking ability by reading practice through learning using "NEWS WEB EASY". We could learn the fact that the study helped students a lot understand Japan and improve their Japanese ability by learning news articles that they could not come across due to prejudice through learning using "NEWS WEB EASY".

  • As the information society gradually advances, various opinions overflow and their complexity increases. As the results, it was made more difficult to derive important issues and properly respond to those problems. Accordingly, it is necessary to get a handle on emerging problems in education in addition to existing discourses and issues. This study aimed at examining the issues of education by analyzing the petitions posted under 'parenting and education' category on National Petition board. In order to offer objective and detailed results, we employed the topic modeling based LDA algorithm, which is an effective method to extract topics in multiple documents. Nine topics were derived as the result of the analysis and the relationship among those topics was visualized. The values of this study exist in that the derived topics represent important issues that reflect the public opinions.

  • The National Agency for Quality Assurance in Higher Education plays a crucial role in education in Ukraine, as an independent entity creates and ensures quality standards of higher education, which allow to properly implement the educational policy of the state, develop the economy and society as a whole. The purpose of the article: to reveal the crucial role of the National Agency for Quality Assurance in Higher Education to create quality management of higher education institutions, to show its mechanism as an independent entity that creates and ensures quality standards of higher education. and society as a whole. The mission of the National Agency for Quality Assurance in Higher Education is to become a catalyst for positive changes in higher education and the formation of a culture of its quality. The strategic goals of the National Agency are implemented in three main areas: the quality of educational services, recognition of the quality of scientific results, ensuring the systemic impact of the National Agency. The National Agency for Quality Assurance in Higher Education exercises various powers, which can be divided into: regulatory, analytical, accreditation, control, communication. The effectiveness of the work of the National Agency for Quality Assurance in Higher Education for 2020 has been proved. The results of a survey conducted by 183 higher education institutions of Ukraine conducted by the National Agency for Quality Assurance in Higher Education are shown. Emphasis was placed on the development of "Recommendations of the National Agency for Quality Assurance in Higher Education regarding the introduction of an internal quality assurance system." The international activity and international recognition of the National Agency for Quality Assurance in Higher Education are shown.

Development of Fine Dust Robot Unplugged Education Program (미세먼지 로봇을 주제로 한 언플러그드 교육 프로그램의 개발)

  • The purpose of this paper is to develop an unplugged education program that develops the 4C (Creativity, Critical thinking, Communication ability, Collaboration) and CT (Computational Thinking) competencies required in modern society. This study discovered "Fine Dust Robot" as a theme suitable for the unplugged education program, and designed the Unplugged 4-hour education program which can develop 4C and CT competencies. The first stage motivates learning, and the second and third stages develop unplugged activity to develop CT. In the fourth stage, the algorithms created through unplugged activities were programmed through the natural language instruction card and produced the output. We developed educational materials that can be utilized in the unplugged education program. Finally, education programs were conducted for elementary school students, and pre- and post-tests of computational thinking were conducted for general students and gifted students. Educational effective was found in both groups.

Research on the Educational Effect and Satisfaction of Cooking Activities for Children (아동 요리활동의 교육적 효과 및 만족도 조사)

  • The purpose of this study was to investigate the actual conditions, satisfaction towards, and effects of children's cooking activity programs held at children's cooking schools, which have recently been gaining interest as an effective integrated educational method. Also, based on the results, the study provides information on good teaching-learning methods, which can be applied to kindergarten and elementary schools. The results of the evaluation showed that 84.1% of the respondents were satisfied with the educational aspects of the programs. People were most satisfied with the teachers' "teaching ability", and were least satisfied with "the educational fees". The satisfaction scores for the children's cooking programs were higher when they were performed in a school class environment as compared to a cultural center environment, and children who had participated for more than 12 months were more satisfied than those who had only participated 1 to 3 months. Quantitatively, of the 24 measured evaluation categories grouped into 6 fields that measured the effects of participation in the cooking programs, the greatest effects were found on the children's self-confidence and sense of achievement in the social emotion field, and the lowest effect was found on their writing ability in the language field. In addition, scores were higher when the cooking activities were performed in a private cooking school environment as compared to a cultural center environment. Scores were also higher when the educational program lasted 7 to 9 months as compared to only 1 to 3 months.

A System for Automatic Classification of Traditional Culture Texts (전통문화 콘텐츠 표준체계를 활용한 자동 텍스트 분류 시스템)

  • The Internet have increased the number of digital web documents related to the history and traditions of Korean Culture. However, users who search for creators or materials related to traditional cultures are not able to get the information they want and the results are not enough. Document classification is required to access this effective information. In the past, document classification has been difficult to manually and manually classify documents, but it has recently been difficult to spend a lot of time and money. Therefore, this paper develops an automatic text classification model of traditional cultural contents based on the data of the Korean information culture field composed of systematic classifications of traditional cultural contents. This study applied TF-IDF model, Bag-of-Words model, and TF-IDF/Bag-of-Words combined model to extract word frequencies for 'Korea Traditional Culture' data. And we developed the automatic text classification model of traditional cultural contents using Support Vector Machine classification algorithm.
