본 논문에서는 한 어절 단위에서 다수 어절 단위로 그 고려 영역을 확장한 개선된 철자 검사기를 제시한다. 개선된 철자 검사기는 1) 한 어절 철자 검사 교정부, 2) 언어 규칙 처리부, 3) 문장 부호 규칙 처리부로 구성된다. 한 어절 철자 검사 교정부는 기존의 철자 검사기와 같은 기능을 수행한다. 연어 규칙처리부는 형태소간의 연어 관계를 이용하여 7가지로 유형 분류된 어절 간 오류를 처리한다. 문장 부호 처리부는 문장 부호 자체의 오류와 문장 부호를 참조하여 좌우 어절들의 오류를 검사한다. 현재 256가지의 연이 규칙과 51가지의 문장 부호 규칙이 구축되어 있다. 본 논문에서 제시한 개선된 철자 검사기는 한국어 문체 검사기(Korean Style Checker) 로서 의의를 가지며, 형태소의 연어 정보는 향후 파싱 등의 문장 분석이나 의미 분석에 중요한 자료로 이용될 수 있을 것으로 기대된다.

We're living in a world of one global village. The globalization of business is acceleration as more companies cross national borders to find customers, materials and money. Many foreign companies and organizations are doing their business aggressively in Korea and many Korean companies and rushing into foreign market. When people communicate for business with someone from another culture, there could be difficult communication barriers to overcome resulting from differences in their values, beliefs, norms for behavior, expectations, attitudes and so on. To do successfully business, we need to understand culture background and communication style that is different from nation, race, language. Communication barriers stemming from cultural differences may vary. Largely, they can be divided into value system, non-verbal communication, and perception process. Value system can be divided into individualism versus group orientation, avoidance of uncertainty degree, power distance, and high- context culture versus low-context culture. Also non-verbal communication method and perception process may play decisive roles in communication effectiveness. Especially nonverbal communication barriers which sometimes play more important roles than the verbal parts are composed of eye contact, gesture, kinesics, proxemics, chronemics, paralanguage and language of color Cross-cultural communication affect business situation. I expect that if we understand cultural background, and then we overcome cross-cultural communication barriers. To overcome and to adapt inter-cultural business, we need to develope curriculum on the cross-cultural education which I will study in the next paper.

It is noted that although the current state of development of web-based English education (hereafter referred to as WBEE) might not meet the criteria some educators have set for themselves in the field, students certainly seem to prefer studying in a web-based and computer-assisted learning environment. This kind of demand is fueling the drive to develop more suitable variations of WBEE. In order for WBEE to work out, a teacher should be a multifunctional type of instructor handling responsibilities such as the role of scriptwriter to create text, act as technician for the sound mixing and recording, preside over online chat rooms and discussion boards, and finally, as webmaster to maintain the site and supervise all academic/ clerical work related to the course. Therefore, it is suggested that WBEE be accompanied by a small personnel to divide the labor and lessen the burden on the actual teacher. Finally, it is noted that the traditional relationship between students and teacher may no longer be sustainable since WBEE does not provide the face-to-face style of class discussion and office hours in its current form. Until the technology is fully developed to compensate for these kinds of differences, it is an immediate challenge to provide other more compelling reasons for students to participate in WBEE.

고품위 입출력 장치의 급속한 발달과 전자 출판 시스템의 출현은 더 다양한 서체를 요구하게 되었다. 컴퓨터에서 사용되고 있는 한글 서체는 명조, 고딕체를 제외하고는 주로 장식용 폰트를 만들어 사용하고 있다. 본 논문에서는 Cubic B-Spline 곡선을 이용하여 다양한 필기체 폰트를 구현하였고, 필기체가 가지는 특성(날림의 정도, 글자의 기울이기 정도, 각 음소의 크기, 각 글자의 크기의 균일성 등)에 따라 인자를 부여하여 개별화되고 사실적인 폰트를 생성하였다. 각 인자의 조합은 암호화되어 각 개인의 폰트로 부여된다. 즉, 개인의 고유 폰트는 폰트 암호(password)로 부여되고, 제어인자는 폰트암호의 해쉬값에 의해 선택되며, 사용자들로부터 이 제어인자들을 숨기게 되면 각 사용자들의 폰트는 유일하고, 안전하게 되므로, 일정정도의 안정성이 보장된다고 보여진다. 그리고 본 연구에서 구현된 폰트는 한글 필기체 문자인식의 정도를 측정하는 다양한 데이타를 제공하는 데에도 의미가 있다.

Purpose: This study was conducted to evaluate health service delivery and attitudes, toward multi-cultural clients amongst community health practitioners (CHPs). Methods: A survey was conducted among 242 CHPs from December 10-22, 2015. The collected data were analyzed using chi-square test, t-test, and ANOVA using SPSS 18.0. Results: General awareness of multi-culturalism varied significantly by CHPs age and language ability. Additionally, utilization of services in accordance with the location of community health centers (CHCs) was significantly higher in rural areas than urban areas CHCs in post-partum maternal & neonate care giver service (in maternal child health), management of health educational programs and management of physical exercise (in implementing healthy life style) and networking resources in & outside of CHCs (in management of chronic disease). Conclusion: CHPs deliver health-care services to multi-cultural clients, but have not received sufficient training or education to serve these clients effectively. CHPs who received multi-cultural and foreign language training had more positive experiences with multi-cultural clients. This supports the needs for developing educational programs to enhance multi-cultural understanding amongst CHPs.

This study discusses the nature of data-interpretation process in the perspective of modern hermeneutics and explores its methodological implications for qualitative research on the life of children. Discussions center around the basic concepts of modern hermeneutics, such as the conceptual distinctions between understanding and explanation, the intersubjective reality constituted between the child's horizon and the researcher's, the concept of the hermeneutics circle and the importance of the openness of language in understanding children's lifeworld. The conclusions are made as follows: First, the concept of "understanding", which is the basic concern of qualitative research on children, has a much different meaning from that of "explanation" in quantitative research. The task of understanding lies in interpreting the lived meaning in context as experienced by children in all its complexity. Second the researcher's subjectivity in the interpretation process has a dual function in that it can produce a faulty hermeneutics circle and yet it provides the researcher with the strong momentum to open up her understanding towards a deeper and wider level. Third, the reliability and the validity of qualitative research should be discussed within the interpretation process itself in that interpretation in qualitative research is guided basically by the researcher's internal dialectic: between data (text) and her subjectivity. Lastly, the language in interpretive research should be open and free in terms of style in order to present a fuller and richer description of children's lifeworld and the delicate textures of their lived meanings.

This paper presents a design and implementation of CRs(CHILL Run-time support System) to adapt the concurrent processing facilities of CHILL(CCITT High Level Language) which had recommended by ITU-T(International Telecommunication Union Telecommunication Standardization Sector). Because the CHILL provides more various concurrent processing facilities that other concurrent programming language, a design and implementation on CRS can give us real effects to gain the major functionalities and the techniques of the concurrent processing. In this paper, we design the interface rules of concurrent functions to conform with the CHILL compiler. We use the concurrent processing primitives as the library style to be invoked by procedure calls, and implement the start-up routine of the CHILL program, the context switching routine, and the CHILL process control parts to control be execution of the CHILL processes concurrently.

Tourism and hospitality have encountered significant changes in recent years as a result of the rapid development of information technology (IT). Customers now expect more expedient services and customized travel experiences, which has intensified competition among service providers. To meet these demands, businesses have adopted sophisticated IT applications such as ChatGPT, which enables real-time interaction with consumers and provides recommendations based on their preferences. This paper focuses on the AI support-prompt middleware system, which functions as a mediator between generative AI and human users, and discusses two operational rules associated with it. The first rule is the Information Processing Rule, which requires the middleware system to determine appropriate responses based on the context of the conversation using techniques for natural language processing. The second rule is the Information Presentation Rule, which requires the middleware system to choose an appropriate language style and conversational attitude based on the gravity of the topic or the conversational context. These rules are essential for guaranteeing that the middleware system can fathom user intent and respond appropriately in various conversational contexts. This study contributes to the planning and analysis of service design by deriving design rules for middleware systems to incorporate artificial intelligence into tourism services. By comprehending the operation of AI support-prompt middleware systems, service providers can design more effective and efficient AI-driven tourism services, thereby improving the customer experience and obtaining a market advantage.

In his 1993 stage play, Arcadia, Tom Stoppard appropriates scientific theories to dramatize the difficulty in predicting the future and in describing the past. Arcadia tracks the archaeological efforts of two present-day literary critics, Hannah Jarvis and Bernard Nightingale, as they attempt to piece together the events that occurred at a large country house called Sidley Park, from 1809 to 1812. While employing a variety of historical and cultural references to the changes taking place in British landscape gardening around the early nineteenth century, the play also turns around the intuitive-romantic versus rational-classical dichotomy represented by Hannah, and present in its discussion of science and the recoverable/irrecoverable past. Stoppard's use of chaos theory as a metaphor for the difficulties faced by those involved in biographical/bibliographical literary research suggests that unsubstantiated assumption can result in the construction of its subject, rather than in its recovery. This paper explores the way in which Stoppard uses scientific concepts, particularly the chaos theory, as a metaphor for human life and behaviour, and how he successfully describes the dilemmas and contradictions of life in so doing. Influences from his famous British predecessors, George Bernard Shaw and Oscar Wilde, are evident, but Stoppard transcends both playwrights and crafts a dramatic style distinctively his own. The combination of wit, comedy, intellectual depth, intriguing ideas, literary allusions, scientific concepts, metaphors, and cultural references, all combine to make Arcadia a dramatic edifice that will stand the test of time.
