  • The purpose of this study is to analyze the exterior space designs of housing complexes where landscape view corridors were planned. In addition, the purpose of the study is to propose reference data for planning and designing a new landscape view corridor. The process of this study is as follows: (1) To understand the role of the landscape view corridor, this study investigated cases of district unit plans and classified the landscape view corridors in terms of the types of functions. (2) To extract analysis items on the exterior space design of housing complexes where landscape view corridors were planned, this study investigated guidelines to be set up for the design of landscape view corridors and the present state of the condition of landscape view corridors. (3) This study analyzed the relationship between the landscape view corridor and the courtyard, the roadway and convenience facilities of the housing complex. This study also proposed reference data for planning a new landscape view corridor and designing the exterior space of a new housing complex.

한국 도시의 조망경관 관리를 위한 미국 도시 조망경관 관리기법 사례연구 (A Case Study on Urban Scenic View Protection Methods in U.S.A. for the Management of Urban Scenic View in Korea)

  • Management practices and ordinances for urban scenic view protection are varied by cities because they have their distinctive nature and social environment. Therefore landscape management methods for urban scenic views are generally varied by the characteristics of city landscape and ordinance. This case study for scenic view protection practices in U.S.A. is very meaningful and appropriate because cities initiate a plan and/or an ordinance to manage urban scenic view in Korea. Urban scenic view protection methods were analyzed based on followings: 1) how to select scenic view resources and define spatial areas for preserving them, 2) how to control building height, open view corridor and guide landscaping and 3) how to carry out view protection methods and organize them in laws or ordinances. Findings of this study will be applied usefully in the development of urban scenic view protection methods in Korea.

  • If cultural Heritageis located in the downtown, conservation areas was developed or is being developed In most cases Therefore, in this case, the relative height of the building during construction than the regulatory limit is reasonable, is emerging need to be objectified. This study was utilizes GIS analysis techniques for 'View Corridor' and building height standards were determined. First, 'View Corridor' set and building height restrictions for the analysis of urban environmental factors were analyzed in. In particular, the topography and urban planning, and existing buildings, including the distribution of the physical urban environment, with detailed analysis on the major historical and cultural assets with a combination of a review of the impact factor for the formation of the urban landscape recognize the scope has been expanded. Second, the key selection criteria for View point largely focused on cultural Heritageand the surrounding communicative point of view and, consequently, connectivity, and symbolism, accessibility, analysis, factors such as Prospect, setting the standards by applying a detailed assessment of each item the main view point were derived. Third, the derived key View point on the terrain and landscape characteristics simulation analysis carried out by considering together the main axis, and this suggests a reasonable height for the proposed standards.

하천 미지형 및 하상저질에 따른 갯버들과 달뿌리풀군락의 분포특성에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Distribution Patterns of Salix gracilistyla and Phragmites japonica Communities according to Micro-landforms and Substrates of the Stream Corridor)

  • This study was carried out to verify the distribution patterns of Salix gracilistyla and Phragmites japonica communities known as obligatory riparian species according to physical factors such as micro-landforms, substrates, etc., at Soo-ip stream corridor. Firstly four vegetation types - Salix gracilistyla dominant type, Phragmites japonica dominant type, mixed type of two species, and mixed type of two species to other species, were classified by cluster analysis based on UPGMA-Euclidean distance. Also these vegetation types showed many different distribution patterns in response to the longitudinal and lateral view along the stream corridor and substrate composition. Salix gracilistyla was major component of dominant vegetation types developed at attack point of bending reach and on substrates composed of rock fragments, but contrastly Phragmites japonica was most important component of dominant vegetation types at point bar of bending reach and floodplain, and on substrates composed of soil materials. Secondly the species and environment biplot form CCA strongly supported the vegetation types divided by classification. Namely Salix gracilistyla was closely correlated with rock fragments and steep slope, which is resistant to physical action even though located near running water. But Phragmites japonica showed a high correlation with soil particles sedimented at floodplain by divergent flow.

지구단위계획상의 경관계획요소에 대한 심리적 반응 (The Psychological Reaction of Landscape Design Elements on the District Unit Plan(DUP))

  • The purpose of this study is to extract landscape design elements regulation of the District Unit Plan(DUP) in new town areas, and to find out characteristics in terms of urban design elements in comparison with the psychological and physical aspects. For this purpose, we reviewed urban design elements and design elements in terms of the landscape by DUP and analyzed the activation of landscape on the selected case-area by interviewing experts such as planners, public officials, and professors in the department of urban planning and landscape, as well as the university students. The analysis framework for the case-study consists of 4 components: the section of region, street, building, open space, etc. The new development areas in Daejeon Metropolitan City was chosen as the case study area, because they have been developed by DUP regulations. As a result of this study, we can extract characteristics of landscape. The results indicate that `skyline design',`view corridor design',`landscape design',`street furniture design' and `building design(form, height, color, and elevation)' are the key planning and design factors influencing differences in the landscape preference. This research identifies that there are no detailed planning and design guidelines adopted within the four case study areas in Daejeon for regulating the characteristics of skyline, planting and street furniture while detailed guidelines established for density, building height and site layout. Considering their significant correlation with the level of landscape preference, this study suggests that detailed planning and design guidelines for the characteristics of skyline, rooftop and streetscape should be established in future DUP.

종묘 주변지역의 현상변경 실태 및 경관가시성을 고려한 경관보존.관리방안 (Measures to Implements the Landscape Preservation and Management on Consideration of Changing the Actual Condition and Landscape Visibility in the Surround Area of the Jongmyo)

  • 본 연구는 서울 종묘 주변지역의 현상변경실태 및 경관가시성을 분석, 평가한 후 경관보존 및 관리방안을 제시하기 위한 것으로, 종묘 주변지역의 현상변경실태와 경관통제점 및 시각회랑에서의 경관가시성을 분석한 결과, 첫째, 종묘의 서쪽과 동쪽지역에서 현상변경신청이 주로 발생하고 있으며, 주민들의 재산권 행사와 종묘의 경관보존이 서로 대립하고 있고, 종묘 주변의 경관 보존 관리가 점점 압박을 받고 있어 적절한 법적 관리방안이 요구되고 있음을 알 수 있었다. 둘째, 경관통제점과 시각회랑에서 경관저해요소로 나타나는 건물은 스카이라인을 해치고 있으며, 문화재의 배경 보존적 측면에서도 종묘와 이질적인 형태의 현대식 건물이 조망됨으로써 문제점을 나타내고 있었다. 셋째, 종묘 주변의 토지이용과 조망을 고려한 경관보존적 측면에서 종묘의 문화재보호를 위하여 특성에 맞는 토지이용방안을 설정하고 관리의 틀을 제안하였다.

어촌어항과 해수욕장의 워터프론트 개발 계획에 관한 연구 - 강원 안목항을 중심으로 - (A Study of Development on Waterfront of Fishing Village National Harbor and Swimming Beach - Foused on Anmock Harbor in Gangwon Province -)

  • Both environments and landscape can be checked in development of waterfront, Nevertheless this conditions does not control at the programming phase as much as necessary in absorption speed of development. Therefore this paper aims to analyze for the environmental space and sustainable landscape. In case of Anmock Harvor, our team carried out interview method by satisfaction level and attractiveness to take requirements of users. This research is to provide that fishing village-national harbor and swimming beach based on the waterfront scale, consists of pedestrian mall, promenade circulation, various water friendly park and beautiful pier. This study proposes two strategies for better life by waterfront space: first, renewal guideline is necessary to masterplan: second, systematic comprehensive plan can be established regal procedures(District Unit Plan & Agreement of Landscape) by participation of regional resident. This survey of waterfront spatial data is expected to use for environmental improvement of fishing village, harbor and swimming beach.

통시적 관점에서 본 한벽당(寒碧堂)의 변천과정 (A Study on Transition Process of Hanbyokdang by Diachronic Analysis)

  • This study first attempted to catch the transformational affairs and motives of the representative pavilion, Hanbyeok in Honam after its construction. Especially, it re-illuminated the morphologic, significant and functional change process of a pavilion after the early Joseon Dynasty by taking the local scenery, Hanbyeokdang as a sample, and considering the space and scenic characteristics, and diachronically understood its creation process and rebuilt its inherent positional meaning to reach the following conclusion. 1. Weoldanglu, at its early foundation, seems to have stressed the function of a private banquet and lecture hall to train younger students, and served as a reception space. Then the reception function gradually increased, and up to before 1530, it seems to have been called Weoldanglu(月塘樓) or Weoldangwon(月塘院). 2. In 1619, Governor Yoo Saek changed the pavilion name to Hanbyeokdang through the subject of a poem. 200 years after Weoldang's death, it became a public space called Hanbyeokdang, an amusement place in which scholars cultivated great morale, and participated in the sending-off and welcoming of predecessors and successors. This seems to have taken a foothold as a public event or entertainment space for the local administration, Jeonjuboo(全州府) through the remodeling process sponsored by the public. 3. Scenic language such as its indicating name, expression type and surrounding view through old map and so on, the shape of Hanbyeokdang evolved and changed to diverse types after the foundation of Weoldanglu, at the heart of which Hanbyeokdang with its two legs standing at a rock was located. 4. During the late 18th century, Hanbyeokdang seems to have been a wing corridor connected closely to the left corridor of the Jeonju stream bed, whose pattern is presumed to have existed even during the early 19308. Such changes in scenic language make us assume that diverse auxiliary space, a wing corridor, was erected for use as a public banquet and amusement spot of Jeonjuboo Castle, the inherent function of Hanbyeokdang after the mid 18th century. 5. Penetration of Hanbyeokgool and the erection of Hanbyeokgyo caused the change of the ancient shape of Hanbyeokdang. Specifically, a great Hanbyeokgyo passing by the pavilion changed the relative scale, so the pavilion image of pursuing unity with nature has lost the old inherent refinement and visual character.

조망점 선정을 통한 대상지의 경관가치 평가 및 개선방안 (Landscape Assessment and Improvement of the View Area by Selecting the Landscape Control Point)

  • 본 연구의 목적은 대규모 주택단지 개발지로 계획되어 있는 대구광역시 북구 연경동 및 동구 지묘동 일원을 대상지로 선정하여 조망점 선정을 통해 조망대상 및 대상장을 정량적으로 평가해 보고, 이를 토대로 시뮬레이션을 실시하여 계획적 차원에서 개선방안을 제시해 보는데 가장 큰 의의를 두었다. 연구결과를 요약하면 다음과 같다. 우선 조망대상 선정을 위한 문헌분석 결과, 도출된 조망대상은 총 24개로 나타났으며, 최종적으로 도출된 주요 조망대상은 4가지로 나타났다. 다음으로 도출된 조망점 선정기준은 총 15개로 나타났으며, 이들은 다시 공통적인 특성에 따라 조망성, 접근성, 공공성으로 재분류하였다. 예비조망점은 공공성 및 접근성을 평가하여 선정하였으며, 평가 결과, 총 42곳의 예비조망점이 선정되었다. 최종조망점은 선정된 예비조망점을 대상으로 조망성을 평가하여 선정하였으며, 평가 결과 29개의 최종조망점이 선정되었다. 마지막으로 문헌분석 결과, 도출된 평가지표는 총 26개로 나타났다. 조망점별 가치평가 결과, 29곳의 대상장 중 I등급은 2곳, II등급은 3곳, 가장 낮은 V등급에 해당하는 대상장은 3곳으로 나타났다. 다음으로 개선방안을 위한 문제점 분석 결과, 개발계획도면을 고려하지 않은 대상장-1의 경우, 토지모자이크의 다양성 등 4가지 개선지표가 선정되었다. 또한 개발계획도면을 고려한 대상장-2의 경우, 배후 산림으로의 조망이 잘 이루어지며, 시각회랑의 확보가 가능한 건축물 배치 형태는 직각배치, 층수는 약 10층인 것으로 나타났다.

도시 내 자연환경(산림, 하천)과 근린공원의 연결 현황 평가 및 연결방안 (The Evaluation of Connectivity between Natural Environment (Forests and Rivers) and Neighborhood Parks Inside Cities in Gyeonggi-do)

  • In this research, the connectivity status between natural environment (forests and rivers) and urban parks in view of ecological networks in a city is evaluated and on the basis of these evaluation results, a future connectivity enhancing recommendations are suggested. As a result, the 96.8% of the connectivity role of the neighborhood parks were core or connected parks and as in terms of the ecological pattern on the outer park, 84.1% of the case neighborhood parks were connected to the ecological element at least one side. Therefore, it can be expected to play a role as corridor that enables the direct connection with the natural environment if the connection plan is well established. As a result of connectivity evaluation of the parks, inside of the parks had low ecological element overall and had low connectivity, outside of the parks had 1.5 times more of low connectivity parks than high connectivity parks, and had similar disconnections such as facilities(fence, soundproof walls, breast walls, etc.), developments(roads, apartment complexes, industrial complexes, etc.), or poor greens regardless of the neighborhood with the ecological elements. To increase the connectivity of ecological network, the cities already built shall secure primarily green territory where can connect with the isolated park due to the surrounding with the developing areas and when planning for new cities or residential complexes, it shall establish a connection plan with the nearby at the beginning.
