도시 교량경관의 이미지와 조화성 분석 -서울 한강 교량을 중심으로- (An Analysis on the Image and Landscape Harmonization of Urban Bridges on Han-River, Seoul, Korea)

  • This study aims to discover the landscape image of bridges and their harmonization wish surrounding sceneries. This research utilized the basic study tool of psycho-physics and processed the case study of five types of bridges on the Han-River, Seoul. Twenty-one bridges on Han-River were classified into five categories ; the cable stayed bridge, the arch bridge, the girder bridge, the trust bridge and the suspension bridge. Also, aesthetic elements of the bridges including the form the texture, the color, the scale and the harmony were examined. The questionaires to analysis the image and harmonization with surrounding sceneries were designed using semantic differential scale and 5 point Likert scale. The results of the research were as follows. First, components representing the images of bridge landscape are classified into three types, ‘beauty’, ‘weightfulness’ and ‘friendliness’. Second, the image of each bridge as a whole turns out not to be different from each other but to be different in the context of neighboring sceneries. It was also determined that both the Cable Stayed Bridge type and the Arch Bridge type are the most attractive. But, the former does have a more masculine image, and the latter has a m[n feminine image. Third, the Cable Stayed Bridge and the Arch Bridge were evaluated highly in terms of harmonization with surrounding landscapes, while the Girder Bridge received the lowest evaluation. All of the above results suggest that the bridges should be constructed not only for beauty itself in form, color, texture and scale, but also in harmonization with the surrounding landscape. Lastly, it is desirable to do further research to find out sort specific design principles that exist between bridges and tangible surrounding landscape types.

도심공원 이용 후 평가를 통한 이용 만족도와 이미지 평가 - 대구 2·28기념중앙공원을 대상으로 - (A Study on Use Satisfaction and Image Evaluation of User through Post Occupancy Evaluation in Urban Park - On the 2·28 Memorial Park in Daegu -)

  • 본 연구는 도시공원 중에서도 도시화와 환경문제에 있어 가장 중심에 있는 도심공원인 대구 2.28기념중앙공원을 대상으로 공원 이용 후 평가를 통해 이용자 만족도, 이미지 평가 및 선호도, 집단별 특성에 관해 분석한 것이다. 이는 추후 공원관리뿐 아니라, 공원설계, 환경 적합성 예측, 정책 및 프로그램 효율성 분석을 위한 자료를 마련하는 목적으로 한다. 조사 시기와 방법은 2016년 5월 11일에서 26까지 15일간 230명을 대상으로 설문조사하여 실시되었다. 선행연구들을 분석하여 이용행태분석, 만족도, 이미지평가 설문항목을 도출하여 SPSS를 통해 신뢰도분석, 요인분석, 다중회귀분석을 하였다. 그 결과, 항목들이 매우 높은 신뢰도를 보였으며, 인과관계의 요인들이 추출되었고, 만족도와 이미지에 영향을 주는 변수들을 파악할 수 있었다. 2.28기념중앙공원은 대부분 항목에서 이용 만족도와 이미지 평가치가 높게 평가되어 높은 만족도와 선호도를 보였다. 평가결과, 추후 도심공원계획과 설계에 있어서는 만족도와 선호도에 가장 큰 영향을 주는 것으로 분석된 녹지수경 요인과 정돈성 요인들을 지속적으로 유지관리하고, 도심공원의 특성상 공원 이용자들도 도심 환경문제를 느끼고 있기에 평가치가 낮은 소음도(3.92), 식물수종(4.09), 공기의 질(4.10), 조용한(4.22)과 같은 문제를 해결하기 위해 소음 완화와 녹음 확보 등의 노력을 지속적으로 할 필요가 있는 것으로 평가되었다.

자연경과지 내에서 정자의 시각적 영향에 관한 연구 (A study on the Visual Impact of Pavilions In Natural Landscapes)

  • The purpose of this thesis is to suggest basic objective data for landscape planning and design through the quantitative analysis of the visual impact of pavilion situated in natural landscapes. For this, naturality and visual preference scores of landscape s1ides were measured by questionnaires, visual volumes of pavilion in the natural landscape were evaluated using the Mesh analysis and images structure was analyzed by the factor analysis algorithm The results of this thesis can be summarized as follow. Landscape slides No. 27 and 9 were ranked more highly for naturality, and slides No.22, 28, 6 and 4 were ranked more highly for visual preference. Factors covering the spatial image of the natural landscape were found to be the evaluation, the tidiness and the space volume. By using the control method for the number of factors, T. V., were obtained as 59.0%. For all experimental landscape slides, the factors of evaluation and tidiness were found to be the main factors determining the naturality and visual preference. The naturality and actor scores and the visual preference and factor scores were found to exepress the regression relation.

장소를 인식하는 이미지 평가항목에 대한 중요도 분석 (Importance Analysis of Image Evaluation Items that Recognize Places)

  • Purpose: This place, which is currently becoming an issue due to historical preservation and landscape protection, is also a place where urban residents around Taereung actually visit often. Thus, this study aims to analyze the importance of the evaluating factors in creating a relatable image of the city. Methods: Evaluation items were selected by reviewing related books and research literatures and reassessing the reviewed items through an expert group interview (FGI). For the selected evaluation items, the relative importance of the evaluation items for the place image was analyzed by applying the hierarchical analysis technique (AHP) to each user group. Result: A place becomes a memory in people's experiences and time, and it has the image and identity of the region where those experiences and memories are found again as a space called "place". The method of analyzing the importance of evaluation items between place images used in this study quantified the factors recognized as abstract images and identified the degree of influence between elements, but has limitation in that it targeted specific places. However, the analysis method on the place image recognition suggests the use of itemized variables for characteristics between place images, so future research on the identity of other place images can be conducted together. Also, the evaluation method of the image that recognizes the place has an objective meaning in that it can measure the image of the place quantitatively. In the future, it can be applied in creating an image forming factor or urban identity for place recognition in many regions

경관평가를 위한 곡면스크린 방식의 몰입형 시뮬레이션 시스템 (Curved Screen Display Immersion Simulation System for Landscape Evaluation)

  • 3차원 몰입형 시뮬레이션이나 입체영상 기술이 개발되면서 경관을 표현하는 도구로 사용이 확산되고 있다. 이에 본 연구는 가시환경과 투사방식의 차이에 따른 경관선호도 분석을 실시하여 가로경관 평가도구로써 곡면 스크린 방식의 몰입형 입체영상의 활용 가능성을 검토하였다. 연구를 위해 서울의 50m 폭원 강남대로를 선정하여 컴퓨터그래픽으로 시뮬레이션을 제작하였다. 시뮬레이션은 가시 환경과 투사방식을 달리하여 경관선호도를 설문조사하였다. 시뮬레이션의 가시환경은 몰입과 비몰입, 투사방식은 입체와 평면영상으로 구분하였다. 요인분석과 t-test 등의 통계분석을 거쳐 가시환경과 투사방식의 차이에 따른 경관특성을 비교하였다. 연구결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 몰입이나 비몰입 환경에 따라 경관특성의 차이가 뚜렷하게 나타났다. 몰입형의 시뮬레이션을 이용하면 관찰자가 다양성 요인, 개방성 요인, 공간감 요인에 대해 평가하기가 비교적 용이하여 변별력이 높은 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 입체나 평면의 투사방식은 변별력을 보이고 있지 않는 것으로 나타났다. 이러한 결과는 경관평가를 위한 시뮬레이션의 제작 및 투사에 있어서 관찰자가 몰입을 할 수 있는 시야각까지 화면을 확장하여 몰입감을 높이는 것이 중요하다는 것을 시사한다. 본 연구는 경관평가 도구로써의 몰입형 시뮬레이션의 효용성을 검토하기 위한 연구로 가로경관의 많은 요소들을 통제하게 됨으로써 변별력을 크게 갖지 못했다는 한계가 있다. 추후 가로폭원, 가로폭원 : 건물높이비 등 다양한 환경에 대해 입체영상에 대한 세밀한 비교 검증이 필요할 것으로 보인다.

  • In recent years, the visual characteristics of natural open space and greenbelt surrounding the urban landscapes have been changed with sprawling of residential areas and highrised residential buildings. Since these natural areas being the background element of residential areas are topographically sloped mountains in many cities. It is easy to be seen in the distance and it is important to preserve these areas as a visual infrastructure of the urban landscape. The purposes of this study are to extract the factors of landscape impact evaluation for these areas and to clarify the physical landscape variables representing these factors, and to infer the visual-perceptional relationships between image and landscape variables. As results, conceptional three factors were extracted with semantic differential evaluation to classified 18 landscape slide, and three regression models were established with factor score of landscapes and physical variables measured in photographs. On the basis of these relationships, visual-perceptional characteristics were discussed by analyzing the data form eye-movement recording to each of landscapes. The factors of "spatial unfolding of backdropped hilly greenspace", "horizontal quence of residential buildings", and "landscape complexity" prove to be important. And it prove important variables of "skyline of mountainous ridge" and "visual edge of building structure" in regression models and eye fixation movements.

농촌전통마을 경관에 대한 도시주민의 이미지 평가 (Evaluation of the City Residents' images on the Landscape of the Rural Traditional Theme Village)

  • This study analyzes the behaviors and images of city residents on the six Gyeongsangbuk-do rural theme villages. The results of analysis bring the following conclusions. 1) Behaviors of city residents are related with the images on rural villages. In addition, the better the image is, the higher their behaviors' needs. 2) Behaviors' needs become higher on the village as the image on 'Scale type' becomes better. 3) Especially, in case of Gimcheon and Gyeongju, we find a strong relationship between the images of 'Scale type' and 'Magnificent type' and behaviors; these villages should raise the scale and standard of villages by certain point.

가상체험을 이용한 경주 월성지구의 경관이미지 및 시각적 특성분석 (Analysis of Landscape Image and Visual Characteristics of Wolseong District Using Virtual Walkthrough)

  • A well-maintained landscape can increase the competitiveness of a city. Gyeongju which is the famous ancient capital of Korea, has numerous historical resources. However, the disharmony between the historical landscape and the surrounding landscape weakens the competitiveness of the city. At present, most landscape analysis methods mainly focus on plans, photos, and animation, which have certain limitations in the expression of landscape spatial scale and materials. This study aimed to use the virtual walkthrough method to take the Wolseong District of Gyeongju historical areas as the object in order to evaluate the landscape visually. Compared with planar landscape analysis methods, such as photos and videos, the virtual walkthrough method is more immersive and intuitive to experience the spatial scale. The study results revealed images, visual characteristics, and visual influence factors of the landscape, which provide essential data for the construction and improvement of landscapes in similar historical areas in the future.

계절별 경관의 시각적 선호도 (Viewers' Visual Preferences of Seasonal Landscape)

  • When we research a landscape or make a Landscape Impact Assessment, we use the image of a specific season like summer or fall. Since there are four distinct seasons, each with a different landscape, researchers need to understand viewers′visual preferences for individual seasonal landscapes. The purpose of this study is to investigate viewers′visual preferences according to seasonal change and the respondent′s age, gender and profession. In this research, the independent variable is season: suing, summer, fall, winter and snowy winter. Three landscape types used in the experiment: forest, street and agriculture. Each landscape type has two sites for reliability. The assessment media for this research are pictures featuring landscapes taken in each of the four seasons. The study used the "paired comparison" method for taking the score of visual preference. The results of this study are as follows: 1. The summer landscape has the highest visual preference score. However, spring and fall landscapes should also be considered for visual landscape evaluation. 2. The visual preference of winter landscape covered with snow is very high, but since snow is temporal and irregular, it is difficult to consider this factor for visual landscape evaluation. 3. The visual preference score of winter is the lowest of four seasons. The attractive factors of spring are flowers, summer is greenery and fall is autumnal tints. But these are not present in winter. 4. The result of visual preferences according to age groups, gender and profession have no serious differences. 5. Visual preference to scenery of 4 seasons by age group was not different from general preference and thus was concluded to have no connection with age. 6. As a result from the research of visual preference to scenery of 4 seasons by sex, women were shown to like snow-scene more than men. This study presents an indication of general preferences of seasonal landscapes. It is expected that more advanced study will proceed after this one.

선운산도립공원의 경관매력도 평가 (Evaluation of the Landscape Attraction of Seonunsan Provinlcial Park)

  • The purpose of this study is in identifying the attraction degree of Seonunsan Provincial Park by quantitative analysis. For this, landscape slide test was performed by questionaries. And multiple regression analysis and Factor analysis were performed far identifying the attraction degree of users. The attraction degree of natural resources was evaluated by questionaries about the landscape scene of 120 slides which was pictured at the chief visual corridor So it is considered that tourism route far attracting people into natural characteristic resources should be developed. It is identified once again that factors of $\boxdr$Naturalness$\boxul$,$\boxdr$Uniqueness$\boxul$and $\boxdr$Mysteriousness$\boxul$are important in natural landscape. And 16 explanation variables which explain the attraction degree of viewing landscape were classified as 4 factors. Those were defined as $\boxdr$Ability (FⅠ)$\boxul$, $\boxdr$Season harmony (FII)$\boxul$,$\boxdr$Simplicity (FⅢ)$\boxul$ and $\boxdr$Legibility(FⅣ)$\boxul$. It is identified that the variables of FⅠ, mysteriousness, is a representative image which expresses the characteristics of Seonunsan Provincial Park.
