CAD를 이용한 가로수 관리 전산화에 관한 연구 (Computerization for Management of Street Tree Using CAD)

  • The purpose of this study is to computerize street tree management using a CAD program in order to manage the drawing record of street trees systematically and concurrently. The configuration of this program is composed of Reference Data, Data Inquiry, and Cost Assessment. The Reference Data includes characteristics of trees, monthly managements records, damage by blight and insects and usage of pesticides. The Data Inquiry includes an individual search of the tree index, simple searches and multiple searches. The Cost Assessment includes two main components, the data input with labor cost, manure ocst and pesticide cost and the assesment of management cost for prevention of blight and insects, pruning and fertilization. The results of this study are as follows: 1) When there are practices such as transplanting and removing of street trees it is immediately updated with the various situation. By creating an in progress a tree management system, up to the date information can be given to the manager for decision making. 2) To identify individual tree at the site or in drawing, the street name and numbers were used instead of coordinates. Tree tags are attached to the street trees individually. It can make DB management simple and easy. 3) By doing simple or multiple search with constructed DB, data can be provided quickly. 4) The result of this type of search are useful in the assessment of management cost very useful in regards to items such as the pruning, pesticides scattering and fertilization. 5) By using the AutoCAD software and existing PC without purchasing new equipment, the cost of system implementation can be minimized.

  • 수묵담채화에 대한 대부분의 연구들은 브러시, 종이, 잉크 번짐 효과 등과 같은 물리적인 모델링에 집중되어 왔다. 이 모델들은 그림을 잘 그리거나 타블릿 펜을 잘 이용하는 사용자들에게는 효과적이지만 툴 사용에 익숙하지 않은 사용자들에게는 만족감을 주지 못한다. 본 논문에서는 수묵담채화를 자동으로 생성하는 기법을 제안하고자 한다. 수묵담채화에서 주로 사용하는 테마인 풍경이미지를 사용자로부터 입력받아 이미지 처리 기법들을 이용하여 수묵담채화를 생성하는 방법을 제안하고자 한다.

「소쇄원 48영」과 「소쇄원도」에 나타난 식물의 의미와 위치 (The Meaning and Location of the Plants in 48 Yeong and Soswaewondo)

  • Soswaewon as a typical villa garden of Korea is a symbolic garden that its diverse compositions imply a specific meaning. This study reviewed the purpose of introduction, meaning, and location of the landscape plants as one of the compositions and covering quite a large part of Soswaewon through 48 Yeong (meaning 48 poems of Soswaewon) and Soswaewondo (meaning Map of Soswaewon). In 48 Yeong, 27 verses describe landscape plants as their key poetic matters. The most frequently mentioned top 3 plants are bamboos, pine trees, and Japanese apricots. The three plants are called Sehansamwoo(歲寒三友) showing constant fidelity and loyalty in any changing situations, which was regarded to represent the nature of scholars. And also the study examined the frequency and planting location of the plants in Soswaewon by comparing 48 Yeong and Soswaewondo, and the result showed some differences between them. That seems to be caused by the limitations in the comparison, because in case of 48 Yeong, the location and frequency of landscape plants can be examined only through the context of the verses, and Soswaewondo showed different production time from 48 Yeong and expressed them only in a form of drawing. The plants have symbolic meanings multi-layered and ambiguous. With their symbolic meanings, the landscape plants reviewed through 48 Yeong consistently represent fidelity and loyalty, man of virtue, and hermit. That is, Soswaewon is the garden granting some significance to its compositions by interacting with the things.

지역경관자원을 활용한 제주상효식물원 계획 (Master Plan for Jeju Sanghyo Botanical Garden using local landscape resources)

  • This study is a plan for the Jeju Sanghyo Botanical Garden construction, and it is prepared to maintain the identity of the local landscape by composing the garden using the local landscape resources. The goals of becoming one of world's best, garden centered botanical garden and at the same time one that represents culture of Jeju. Unusual species are included in the collection and with the general collection, special collection and exhibition by different kinds are planned to be offered to the public. The garden will demonstrate the world's various types of gardens in a compressed way. It is our endeavor to become center of culture beyond plant education and exhibition, drawing a large number of people to our garden. Moreover, conservation of Jeju's unique botanic resources will be carried out and the garden will show the garden culture. Due to the size of the site, different themes will be exhibited in one zone in a parallel. Unique combination of each local landscape resource will create own theme. The display will be divided into three different stages: the 1st stage is an educational exhibition, assisting more understanding of distinguishing different locations, the second is exhibition by various species and the final stage will show an ideal way to develop a garden with harmony of various plant species.

Studies on the Restitution of the Imaginary Environment through the Comparison of Korean, Chinese and Japanese Historical and Cultural Landscape

  • This study had the purpose to restore imaginary environment involved to symbolic thinking system of Eastern culture discontinued by scientific and reasonable rationalism of Western. To restore imaginary environment, this study selected example places such as Seoul, Beijing, Kyoto which were ancient cities of Korea, China, Japan each and used hermeneutics and phenomenological access method to draw out the element of imaginary environment by analyzing historical and cultural view of example cities. Through comparison and re-interpretation of historical and cultural view of three countries[Korea, China, Japan] in Northeast Asia, as the result of drawing imaginary environment involved within it, it was structured that the spirit and the factor of natural environment of places involved to each cities were reflected as the factor of civilized environment, organized that each element was united, and more sanctified the spirit of place step by step. This study has the meaning as first trial which comparatively analyzed city spaces of existent place of human life by new concept called imaginary environment. It may has the meaning that verifying the universality of imaginary environment involved to historical and cultural view of three Northeast Asian countries, however, there was limitation to examine specificity up to detailed elements of each city.

변산반도국립공원의 식생분포 및 녹지자연도 사정에 관한 연구 (A Study on Distribution of Vegetation and Assessment of Green Naturality in Byeonsanbando National Park)

  • 변산반도국립공원을 대상으로 식생분포 실태를 파악하고 현존식생도 조사방법 및 작도 기준을 제시하는데 본 연구의 목적이 있다. 과거 국립공원의 식생조사문헌을 검토하고 현존식생 조사 및 작도기준안을 마련하여, 변산반도국립공원의 식생분포조사를 실시하였다. 변산반도국립공원의 현존식생은 총 8개 식물군락과 기타지역으로 구분되었으며, 2차림인 자연림은 소나무군락, 낙엽활엽수림, 굴참나무군락, 침엽수-활엽수혼효림 4개 식생군락으로, 조림지는 리기다소나무림, 곰솔림, 리기테다소나무림, 리기다소나무-곰솔림 4개 수림으로 구분되었다. 변산반도국립공원의 녹지자연도는 7등급 지역이 약 69.1%로 가장 넓었고, 9등급 지역은 0.36%로 매우 희소하였다. 국립공원의 체계적인 식생조사 및 관리를 위해서는 식생조사방법 및 작도 기준이 필요하다고 판단된다.

랜드스케이프 어바니즘의 관점으로 본 춘천 G5 국제설계경기 출품작 분석 (Re-reading Chuncheon G5 International Design Competition from a Viewpoint of Landscape Urbanism)

  • A city evolves over time. It grows, transforms, and sometimes degrades. Chuncheon is at a turning point from a city souggling with regulations regarding clean water supply and a military encampment to a masterpiece city with a sustainable vision. The city is getting ready to restructure itself to become a world-famous culture and tourism complex expanding its physical boundary across the Camp Page site and absorbing Jungdo as a major tourist attraction. The landscape in the future blueprint of Chuncheon will play a great role in restructuring urban form. The regenerated in will have a new networked open space system as well as re-evaluated landscape resources. The hybrid theoretical practice called 'landscape urbanism' burgeoning in the fields between 'landscape architecture' and 'urbanism' can guide us in considering the terms of the relationship between a city and landscape when we design a future city Landscape urbanism is considered to be an effective framework by which we can diagnose the current status of a landscape in our contemporary urban design practice in Korea. This paper tries to provide a different perspective from the viewpoint of landscape urbanism to decipher the hidden implications of the social agreement on the role of landscape in urban structure by re-reading eight design proposals presented for the ChunCheon G5 international design competition based on the main principles of landscape urbanism. The G5 design competition is a great opportunity to test out new ideas on a city, demonstrating the relative values among various urban-design professional realms. First, this paper provides an overview of the main ideas of landscape urbanism based on the literature review and case studies. Second, framework categories are suggested in order to extract the explicit and implicit ideas on the landscape. Third, eight proposals are reviewed according to the suggested categories to situate the current landscape design of Korea within the mainstream of contemporary practice of landscape urbanism. Based on the review of eight proposals, the following diagnostic conclusions are made; first, the ideas of landscape urbanism have not been actively introduced in large-scaled urban landscape projects in Korea like Chuncheon G5. Second, it remains to be a big task for landscape professions to be able to participate in design consortiums on an equal footing. Third, In order to introduce and reify the ideas of landscape urbanism in Korea, it is inevitable and critical to test the ideas in both academic fields and professional practices to find the appropriately adjusted model of landscape urbanism.

조선시대 산수화에 그려진 자연풍경의 유형구분과 특성 (The Types and Characteristics of Natural Scenery in Landscape Painting during Joseon Dynasty)

  • 아름다운 자연풍경의 유형을 구분하고 특성을 가늠할 수 있는 새로운 방편으로 선조들이 남긴 산수화에 주목하였다. 자연풍경(수산(山水))을 그림의 주대상으로 하고 있는 조선시대 산수화 629매를 수집, 그림에 그려진 주대상에 의해 유형을 분류하였다. 산수화는 그림이 그려진 장소에 의해 산, 강, 바다, 도시로 구분되었다. 산에서 그려진 그림은 연봉형(蓮峯型), 다봉형(多峯型), 독립봉형(獨立峯型), 산기암형(山奇巖型), 산계곡형(山溪谷型), 산수변형(山水邊型)으로 구분되었다. 강에서 그려진 그림은 강산형(江山型), 강수형(江水型), 강변형(江邊型), 강기암형(江奇巖型)으로 분류할 수 있었다. 바다에서 그려진 그림은 해변형(海邊型), 해기암형(海奇巖型)으로 구분되었고 도시에서 그려진 그림은 시가지(市街地)파노라마型으로 한 개의 유형이 되었다. 한편 그림이 그려진 장소, 시점(視點)을 통합하여 보면 산수화에 그려진 자연풍경은 산봉우리의 모습, 산 강 바다 어디에 있던지 기암의 모습, 산 강 바다 모두 물과 뭍이 만나는 곳(강변(江邊) 해변(海邊) 산(山)의 수변(水邊)/계곡 폭포 담)의 모습으로 요약할 수 있다. 각 유형과 유사한 자연풍경을 갖는 장소는 이미 널리 알려진 곳이거나 또는 아름다운 자연풍경의 창출이 가능한 곳으로 자연풍경지의 가치에 주목하여 보존과 관리에 유의하여야 할 것으로 판단된다.

한국 조경에서 컴퓨터 테크놀로지의 활용에 관한 담론의 변천 - 『한국조경학회지』와 『환경과조경』을 중심으로 - (Transformation of Discourse on Uses of Computer Technology in Korean Landscape Architecture - Focused on Journal of the Korean Institute of Landscape Architecture and Environmental & Landscape Architecture of Korea -)

  • 이 연구는 한국 조경에 컴퓨터가 도입된 이후 나타난 컴퓨터 테크놀로지의 관련 담론의 변화 과정을 검토하고자 한다. 첫째, 1990년대를 전후로 컴퓨터가 조경의 새로운 테크놀로지로 본격적으로 도입되면서 조경에 적합한 컴퓨터 소프트웨어 유틸리티를 프로그래밍하는 흐름이 나타났다. 이러한 컴퓨터 프로그래머로서의 조경가는 하나의 소프트웨어를 이용해 여러 분석과 설계 기법을 처리하는 방법을 탐구했고, 이때 조경의 다양한 분야와 상호 작용하려는 노력이 있었지만, 대체로 컴퓨터 테크놀로지는 수작업을 효율적으로 처리하는 도구로 이용되는 데 머물렀다. 둘째, 2000년대를 넘어서면서 경관의 프로세스를 시각화하는 테크닉인 맵핑과 다이어그램에 대한 담론이 출현했고, 이와 함께 사실적인 컴퓨터 투시도가 증가하면서 조경 그래픽이 중요해졌다. 그래픽 디자이너로서의 조경가는 조경 계획과 설계에 필요한 구체적인 테크닉의 실험에 주력했지만, 이때 컴퓨터는 주로 설계 결과물을 사실적으로 묘사하는 그래픽 제작에 이용되고, 상대적으로 경관의 형태를 디자인하는 실험은 적었다. 셋째, 최근 조경가는 경관의 다양한 성능을 모델링하고, 파라메트릭 기능을 활용하여 경관과 시설물의 형태를 디자인하는 경향이 나타나고 있다. 이러한 공간 디자이너로서의 조경가는 설계 과정에서 컴퓨터 모델링을 형태를 생성해내는 창의적 수단으로 활용하고 있다.

아파트 단지 인공지반의 계획적 평가에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Landscape Planning Evaluation on Apartment Artificial Ground)

  • Landscaping on artificial ground is currently served as a means to imposing a greenery benefit on high-density and high-rise apartment sites. It functions as a sub-hierarchy in apartment planning such as ornamental element from the past. Major parking space tends to be allocated on the basement area in response to the required parking regulation. Therefore, competitive relatioinship between the parking and greenery space I limited outdoor of apartments leads to the development planning strategy and technology of artificial ground. This study aims at evaluating landscape planning on artificial ground of apartment complex through several approaches such as site survey, plan drawing analysis, and interview with related field experts. 15 survey apartment sites including Bundang Model, Shindaebang-dong, Pyoungchon Hyundai Apartments have been selected for conducting the research. Main results of this study are summarized below : First, scattering allocation of artificial ground between apartment building units is a dominant plan layout type among the survey sites. Even though unifying allocation type has an advantage to maximize underground parking space, it has a difficulty in maintaining proper soil ground base for nurturing plants. Therefore, underground parking space should be planned by unifying allocation type placed separately from apartment units. This plan type can provide a balanced planting between soil and artificial ground on surface level. Second, It is strongly recommended to integrate the whole planting base which involves architectural structure, drainage, and water proofing above the planting design. When considering that process as a professional subject dealing with natural material such as trees and shrubs, those tasks should be directed by landscape architectural divison and landscape architect. And planting area for artificial ground has to be specified in initial phase of architectural design. This step provides an opportunity to make a proper decision on structural load, drainage, and water proof design as an integrated part of the management.
