In this research, We connect the terrestrial magnetism sensor of the Philips to a bluetooth communication system and measured 360 degree of the azimuth change the angle with an incline of 5 degrees to an order direction. The value of the azimuth to be measured sent to the Bluetooth communication system and analyzed the measuring value in the 100m as moved. Using the bluetooth, we could send the measuring value of the azimuth without the bearing error in the plain without an electric wave obstacle within a distance in straight line 100M. We got the value of the azimuth have 98% reliability to maintain at a level with the terrestrial magnetism sensor. Based on this research. We send the measuring value of the azimuth which the accuracy is improved to a mobile intelligent robot moving a land inclined equipped with this system and can track the azimuth of it.

This paper derives the symbol error probability for quadrature amplitude modulation(QAM) with L-fold space diversity in Rayleigh fading channels. Two combining techniques, maximal ratio combining(MRC) and selection combining(SC), are considered. The formula for MRC space diversity is obtained by averaging the symbol error probability of M-ary QAM in an additive white Gaussian noise(AWGN) channel over a chi-square distribution with 2L degrees of freedom. The obtained formula overcomes the limitations of the earlier work, which has been limited only to deriving the symbol error rate(SER) of QAM with two branch MRC space diversity. The formula for SC space diversity is obtained by averaging the symbol error probability of M-ary QAM in an AWGN channel over the distribution of the maximum signal-to noise ratio among all of the diversity channels for SC space diversity has been reported yet. Analytical results show that the probability of error decreases with the order of diversity gain per additional branch decreases as the number of branches becomes larger. On the other hand, the performance of 16 QAM with MRC becomes much better than that of SC as the number of branches becomes larger. By giving the order of diversity, L, and the number of signal points, M, we have been able to obtain the SER performance of QAM with general space diversity. These results can be used to determine the order of diversity to achieve the desired SER in land mobile communication system employing QAM modulation.

This paper considers the effect of co-channel interference on hybrid satellite-terrestrial relay network. In particular, we investigate the problem of amplify-and-forward (AF) relaying in hybrid satellite-terrestrial link, where the relay is interfered by multiple co-channel interferers. The direct link between satellite and terrestrial destination is not available due to masking by surroundings. The destination node can only receive signals from satellite with the assistance of a relay node situated at ground. The satellite-relay link is assumed to follow the shadowed Rice fading, while the channels of interferer-relay and relay-destination links experience Nakagami-m fading. For the considered AF relaying scheme, we first derive the analytical expression for the moment generating function (MGF) of the output signal-to-interference-plus-noise ratio (SINR). Then, we use the obtained MGF to derive the average symbol error rate (SER) of the considered scenario for M-ary phase shift keying (M-PSK) constellation under these generalized fading channels.

In recent years, the digital transformation age represented by the "Fourth Industrial Revolution", which is a universalization of digitalization across all industries, has become a reality. In the construction sector in 2018, the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport established the Smart Construction 2025 vision and established the 'Smart Construction Technology Roadmap' aiming to complete construction automation by 2030. Especially, in the construction stage, field monitoring technology using drones is needed to support construction equipment automation and on-site control, and a 3D geospatial information model can be utilized as a base tool for this. The purpose of this study is to investigate the factors affecting earthworks work in order to manage changes in site conditions and improve communication between managers and workers in the earthworks plan, which has a considerable part in terms of construction time and cost as a single type of work. Based on this, field management procedures and applications were developed.

Ships at sea cannot exchange data among them easily so far. Basically voice-oriented communication systems are the main methods, some of them utilize the HF radio systems at lower bit rates, and for higher bit rates, the Inmarsat or VSAT are adopted. None of them are used widely because of lower qualities and higher costs. There exist many technical and economical limits to have the Internet service just like on land such as the WWW service. In order to achieve the improved transmission rates of the maritime communication networks at farther sea, MANET(Mobile Ad Hoc Network) is one of the most practical models. In this paper, a new routing protocol named EZR (Expansive Search Zone Routing Protocol) is proposed, which is based on SANET (Ship Ad Hoc Network) model that has some different features from MANET and VANET (Vehicular Ad Hoc Network). The search zone for the shortest path is firstly found by EZR. If no path is searched in the zone, the zone is expanded according to the rule of EZR. The zone-expanding and path-searching procedures are repeated until the path is found out. The performance of EZR is evaluated and compared with LAR protocol which is one of the most typical routing protocols based on geographical information. The simulated results show that EZR is much better than LAR at sea environments in terms of routing success rate, route optimality, and a single index of performance combined the previous two metrics.

Self-configuration network model is to overcome the limits of data communications at sea. As a research for enhancing the connectivity and scalability of data networks at sea using the diversity and heterogeneity of the data networks on land, in this paper, a routing scheme (NLTCR) based on not conventional hop counts but distances to destination ships is introduced. The NLTCR seeks an optimal route by normalized distances to a destination, and transmission characteristics of applications and carriers. Performance is evaluated and compared with those of the max-win (MWR) and the normalized transmission characteristics (NTCR) based schemes.
The distributions of Cd, Cu, and Zn concentration in soil treated with one (1988) or two (1988 and 1993) applications of sewage sludge at rates of 0, 25, 50, and $100Mg\;ha^{-1}$ (dry weight basis) were determined to assess the accumulation and mobility of the heavy metals. The heavy metals accumulated almost entirely in 0 to 15 cm soil depths. Small amounts of the metals moved out of the tillage zone (0-15 cm depth) into the subsoil, but even at the high rate of sewage sludge, little movement of heavy metals occurred below 100 cm depth. The water-extractable Cd, Cu, and Zn concentrations were very low regardless of the rate of sewage sludge application. Availability of metals as determined by DTPA extraction showed the percentage of DTPA-extractable/total concentration increased with sewage sludge application. In the 0-15 cm depth of sewage sludge treated soil, the percentage of DTPA-extractable/total concentration was higher than 46% for Cd, but the value was less than 27% and 17% for Cu and Zn, respectively. The Cd, Cu, and Zn added to this calcareous clay soil by sewage sludge application were not very mobile, and the amount of plant available form was very small.

In this paper, the performance of stepped serial search scheme and matched filter scheme for code acqusition in FH / CDMA are evaluated under land mobile radio communication channel environments. And delay lock loop scheme is used as code tracking system. As the results for code acquisition system, it is shown that the performance of stepped searial scheme is superior to matched filter scheme, because system complexity is reduced and system performance is improved by increasing the hopping frequency not to substitute for special hardware. Also, it is shown that its performance is improved under Rayleigh/ Rician fading environments. As the results for code tracking system, it is found that mean hold time is increased due to the increase of the number of lock state and hopping frequency, M.

The error rate equation of MSK(Minimum Shift Keying) signal transmitted through the fading channel has been derived in the interference and impulsive noise environments. The error rate performance of MSK system have been evaluated and shown in figures as parameters of carrier-to-noise power ratio(CNR), carrier-to-interferer power ratio(CIR), impulsive index, the ratio of Gaussian noise power component to impulsive noise power component, and fading figure. The results show that, in the fading environment, the error is occurred more frequently by Gaussian noise in the deep fading, however in the shallow fading, impulsive noise is more dominant than Gaussian noise. And in thepresence of interference and fading, interferer deteriorates the MSK receiving system severely even if the interferer is weak.

Both geophysical and geospatial data provide important information in the establishment of the optimal telecommunication systems especially in the mobile telecommunication environment. The objective of this study is to utilize geophysical properties and geospatial information in the analysis of the telecommunication environment through point-to-point wave property modeling. Geophysical properties associated with wave propagation parameters of the earth surface were analyzed based on hierarchical land classification using Landsat ETM+ and IKONOS images. Three-dimensional geospatial information was obtained by processing stereo aerial images. The results show that the accurate geospatial information and reliable geosphysical property of the surface improve the prediction of receiving power of the receivers located near corners of the buildings where diffractions occur. The wave property model developed from accurate telecommunication environment could be applied to optimal cell planning and delay time analysis.
