Reliability and Validity of the Early Trauma Inventory Self Report-Short Form among Korean Adolescents

  • Objectives: Experiencing early childhood trauma is related to multiple psychiatric problems in adolescents and adulthood. This study aimed to examine the reliability and validity of the Korean version of the Early Trauma Inventory Self Report-Short Form (ETISR-SF) among Korean adolescents. Methods: A total of 86 adolescents aged 12-17 years (mean age $14.50{\pm}1.35years$, range 12-17) were assessed using the ETISR-SF. Other instruments, including the Children's Depression Inventory (CDI), the revised Children's Manifest Anxiety Scale (RCMAS), and the List of Threatening Experiences Questionnaire (LTE-Q), were used to assess clinical symptoms. After 2 months, 51 of the 86 participants were evaluated using the ETISR-SF to assess test-retest reliability. Results: The Cronbach's coefficient alpha for the ETISR-SF was high (0.803). Adolescents with depressive disorder showed higher ETISR-SF scores compared to healthy controls. The ETISR-SF scores were correlated higher with the scores on the LTE-Q (r=0.485) than with the scores on the CDI or RCMAS (r=0.165 and 0.347, respectively). Conclusion: The ETISR-SF was temporally stable, showing acceptable reliability (r=0.776). These findings suggest that the Korean version of the ETISR-SF appears to be a reliable and valid instrument for the measurement of reported childhood trauma.

Triple-band Multiplexer for a Low Power Portable Base Station (이동통신 기지국용 삼중대역 멀티플렉서)

  • In this paper, a triple-band multiplexer using a microstrip transmission line was designed and fabricated to make use of a low power portable base station. This multiplexer was used in the triple-band including the cellular, WCDMA and LTE mobile frequency band, and designed to have an insertion loss of 0.8 dB, low SWR of 1.5 in the passband and a band rejection of 15 dB in the stopband. From the measured results obtained by a confidence test for the fabricated multiplexer samples, the maximum insertion loss and SWR of the fabricated multiplexer samples in all passbands of 824-894MHz, 1920-2170 MHz and 2500-2600 MHz were below 0.71 dB and 1.38, and the attenuations in the stopbands were better than 15 dB. Therefore, the triple-band multiplexer has good performance and satisfies the design specifications.

  • In order to maximize spectrum efficiency and data rate MIMO(Multiple Input Multiple Output) is adopted to wireless system. OFDM-based WiMAX and LTE accommodate MIMO as mandatory technology. STC(Space Time Coding) and SM(Spatial Multiplexing) are used in downlink while in uplink C-MIMO(Collaborative MIMO) is used to improve data throughput. In this paper conventional pairing schemes, RPS(Random Pairing Scheduling) and DPS(Determinant Pairing Scheduling) are analyzed. From the analysis the performance of DPS algorithm is better than that of RPS because DPS measures orthogonal factor between paired users. However, there are potential problems such as hardware complexity and performance. To overcome the issues Power-Based Scheduling(PBS) algorithm is proposed for C-MIMO. PBS can provide higher performance compared to RPS and dramatically reduce hardware complexity compared to DPS

Design of a Multi-Band Network Selection System for Seamless Maritime Communication Networks (단절 없는 해상 통신 네트워크를 위한 멀티대역 네트워크선택기 시스템 설계)

  • As digital communication technology evolves, the diversity of maritime communication methods has benn increasing due to the emergence of new maritime communication technologies such as digital very high frequency (VHF) communication systems and LTE-M as well as traditional conventional maritime communication systems. At sea, all maritime communication methods may be available, but only some communication methods may be available depending on the location. In this paper, we propose a multi-band network selection (MNS) system that can provide seamless maritime communication service by switching to an optimal communication band among available communication systems, depending on network environment and user requirements. The proposed MNS system in the middleware layer is designed to be able to interface with two types of digital VHF communication systems that satisfy Annex 1 and Annex 4 of ITU-R M. 1842-1, LTE, and high frequency (HF) communication systems. We assign priority to each communication band, and design an optimal communication band determination algorithm based on this priority.

  • Non-LTE 항성대기모형인 Tlusty 모형의 합성색지수와 성간소광을 매우 적게 받은 산개성단에 있는 별들의 색지수를 바탕으로 O와 B형 별의 고유색지수 관계를 채택하였다. 태양인근 3kpc 내에 있는 약 190개 젊은 산개성단의 가시광 및 근적외선 2MASS JHKs 관측자료와 위에서 채택한 고유 색지수 관계를 적용하여 색 초과비 E(V-I)/E(B-V), E(V-J)/E(B-V), E(V-H)/E(B-V), 및 E(V-Ks)/E(B-V)를 얻고, 색 초과비와 $R_V$의 관계를 사용하여, 각 성단의 성간소광법칙 $R_V$를 결정하였다. 국부 나선팔의 백조자리 방향과 Per 나선팔에 있는 산개성단들은 약간 작은 $R_V$를 보이며, 큰개자리 방향의 국부 나선팔에 있는 산개성단은 정상적인$R_V$를, 그리고 Sgr-Car 나선팔에 있는 산개성단들은 약간 큰 값을 보였다. 이 결과는 최대 편광도를 보이는 파장과 $R_V$의 관계로 얻을 수 있는 양상과 잘 일치한다.

모바일 네트워크 보안 기술 동향

  • 본고에서는 최근 빠르게 발전하고 있는 모바일 네트워크 보안 기술 동향에 대해서 살펴본다. 특히 모바일 네트워크의 발전으로 최근 관심이 집중되고 있는 이기종 망간 인증 연동에 대해 3GPP 진영과 IEEE 진영에서의 표준화 기술 동향을 살펴본다. ITU-R에서는 차세대 모바일 네트워크 (4G)인 IMT-Advanced에 대한 표준화일정 및 표준 요구사항 등을 정의하여 2008년부터 본격적인 표준화 논의를 시작하였다. 이에 따라 3GPP와 IEEE에서는 ITU-R의 IMT-Advanced의 표준 요구사항을 충족하는 표준 기술로 LTE-Advanced와 802.16m에 대한 기술 논의를 ITU-R의 표준화 일정에 따라 진행하고 있으며 표준화 및 전 세계 시장 선점을 위해 치열한 경쟁을 하고 있다. 이러한 모바일 네트워크 환경의 고도화로 관심이 증가하고 있는 이기종 망간 인증연동 기술에 대한 표준화 동향을 살펴본다.

  • 2014년 7월 미래부에서 국가재난안전통신망에 대한 기술방식을 최종 선정한 이후로, 국가재난안전통신망에 대한 관심이 높아지고 있다. 본고에서는 먼저 본 과제의 필요성 및 주요 성과물을 다루고 현재의 R&D 시장 동향을 통해 어떤 전망을 내다볼 수 있는지 구체적으로 다룬다. 궁극적으로 재난통신 시스템 및 단말 개발은 미래부에서 요구하는 재난망의 필수/선택 기준을 만족시키는 원천 기술 확보 및 이에 대한 표준화 그리고 상용 수준의 시스템 및 단말이라는 요소들을 모두 균형적으로 고려하여 이루어져야 한다.

Short Term Spectrum Trading in Future LTE Based Cognitive Radio Systems

  • Market means of spectrum trading have been utilized as a vital method of spectrum sharing and access in future cognitive radio system. In this paper, we consider the spectrum trading with multiple primary carrier providers (PCP) leasing the spectrum to multiple secondary carrier providers (SCP) for a short period of time. Several factors including the price of the resource, duration of leasing, and the spectrum quality guides the proposed model. We formulate three trading policies based on the game theory for dynamic spectrum access in a LTE based cognitive radio system (CRS). In the first, we consider utility function based resource sharing (UFRS) without any knowledge of past transaction. In the second policy, each SCP deals with PCP using a non-cooperative resource sharing (NCRS) method which employs optimal strategy based on reinforcement learning. In variation of second policy, third policy adopts a Nash bargaining while incorporating a recommendation entity in resource sharing (RERS). The simulation results suggest overall increase in throughput while maintaining higher spectrum efficiency and fairness.

  • We present a new code for solving non-LTE radiative transfer problems in a general grid (RIG). RIG develops from RATRAN code (Hogerheijde & van der Tak 2000) using the Accelerated Monte-Carlo method, and it can cope with line overlap effect among multiple molecular and atomic species. In this algorithm we make grids in arbitrary coordinates adequate to the problem, but, on the other hand, photons propagate in the Cartesian coordinates. For spherical, cylindrical and other well defined coordinate, the problem of tracing photon's path reduces to solving simple quadratic equations. For example, the outflow in the star formation have high dynamic range in scales from a few AU to ~ 0.1 pc and have also cylindrical symmetry. So, we have used (r, ${\alpha}$) coordinate system, where r is the distance from the origin and ${\alpha}$ is z/ R2 in the cylindrical coordinate of (R,z). The (r, ${\alpha}$) coordinate realizes the density - power function of r - and temperature distributions of the problems with smaller numbers of grid than the cylindrical coordinate does, and the former consumes less time to solve the problems than the latter.

  • Development of a train wireless signal control system using LTE-R technology is expected to have a great ripple effect to the existing signal control market. To make inroads into the international market, it is an urgent issue to practicalize the train wireless signal control system. Because it will require a huge budget to commercialize the wireless signal control system, it is necessary to analyze the feasibility beforehand, with a consideration of the domestic and foreign marketability and the impact on related industries. This study investigated the effect of the practicalization of train control system on future railway and national industrial sectors. We suggested the establishment of a framework for economic feasibility analysis, one that can provide criteria for opportunistic valuation. We also verified this framework through case analysis.
