신교통시스템의 특성 및 기술개발전망 (The Present State of New Transit System and Future Prospects)

  • This paper review current situation of New Transit System (NTS) which mainly developed by the western countries. The paper classified NTS by it capacity, physical appearance, and so on. It reviewed the brief history of LRT, which became new guided transport system in terms of transport environment especially for transport handicapped. It also includes the merit of Linear Metro, which could be popular for the urban transport system. Finally, the paper prospects the future of NTS for the planning of urban transport system.

트레드밀 훈련이 뇌졸중 환자의 보행, 균형 및 체간조절에 미치는 영향 (The effect of independent treadmill training on gait, balance and trunk control in a patient with chronic stroke)

  • The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of treadmill training on gait, balance, and trunk control in a patient with hemiparesis. A female subject who had suffered a left hemiparesis 12 months previously was selected for this study. A single subject ABA design was used. Eight data-collection sessions were conducted during each of three phases (baseline-intervention-withdrawal). During baseline and withdrawal phases, the treatment based on Bobath approach was performed for the subject, and during the intervention phase, treadmill walking training was added. Assessment tools were made using the 10 m walk test, Rivermead Visual Gait Assessment(RVGA), Berg Balance Scale(BBS), and a seated Lateral Reach Test(LRT). During the intervention phase, the time measured in 10 m walk test and the scores of RVGA and BBS were significantly improved, and the number of steps in 10 m walk test and LRT showed a small improvement. During withdrawal phase, the time measured in 10 m walk test and the scores of RVGA and BBS were shown the carry-over effect. This findings indicate that treadmill training has significant effect to gait function and balance in a patient with chronic hemiparesis.

고무차륜형 경전철 고가구조물 설계기준에 관한 현장 계측 시험 연구(1): 제동하중 (A Field-test Study of the Design Standards of Elevated Structures for Rubber-wheeled Light Rail Transit: Braking Force)

  • 국내에 건설 운영 중인 경전철 고가구조물은 설계 당시 경전철 고가구조물 설계기준이 마련되어 있지 않아 일반 철도교 설계기준 및 국외 차량제작사에서 제시한 설계기준을 참조하여 설계된 관계로, 고가구조물이 과다 설계되어 비경제적으로 건설된 주된 이유가 되고 있다. 본 연구에서는 고무차륜형 경량전철이 고가구조물 위를 각각 50km/h, 60km/h, 70km/h의 속도로 주행 중 5개 제동 지점별로 제동 시 고가 하부구조물에 작용하는 제동하중을 현장 계측시험을 통해 분석하였고, 현재 설계시 반영되고 있는 철도설계기준과 비교하였다. 본 연구에서 제시된 제동하중 시험분석 결과는 향후 경전철 고가구조물 설계기준 제정 시 참조될 수 있다.

  • 본 논문은 경전철 급전시스템을 위한 직류보호제어장치의 개발 및 적용에 관한 것이다. 이를 위하여 직류급전계통의 단락특성을 이론과 실측자료를 이용하여 분석하였으며, 사고전류를 검출하는 기법의 개선안을 제시하여 직류 보호계전장치를 개발하였다 특히 계전기능 중 가장 중요한 고장선택계전기(50F)의 계전알고리즘을 개선하여 개발하였고, 이를 경북 경산 경전철 시험선에 설치하여 운전 중이다. 직류 보호계전기를 현장에 적용하기 위하여 그동안 불분명하고 명확하지 않았던 규정 및 규격을 개발과정에서 명확하게 정리하였다. 또한 특성시험과 EMC시험 규정 중 일부항목에 대해 시험방법이 제정되어있지 않아 IEC 규정의 분석을 통하여 객관적이고 타당한 시험회로, 방법 및 평가방법을 제안하였다.

2018년 봄철 제주지역 고농도 PM2.5에 대한 배출량 및 물리·화학적 공정 기여도 분석 (Contributions of Emissions and Atmospheric Physical and Chemical Processes to High PM2.5 Concentrations on Jeju Island During Spring 2018)

  • In this study, the contributions of emissions (foreign and domestic) and atmospheric physical and chemical processes to PM2.5 concentrations were evaluated during a high PM2.5 episode (March 24-26, 2018) observed on the Jeju Island in the spring of 2018. These analyses were performed using the community multi-scale air quality (CMAQ) modeling system using the brute-force method and integrated process rate (IPR) analysis, respectively. The contributions of domestic emissions from South Korea (41-45%) to PM2.5 on the Jeju Island were lower than those (81-89%) of long-range transport (LRT) from China. The substantial contribution of LRT was also confirmed in conjunction with the air mass trajectory analysis, indicating that the frequency of airflow from China (58-62% of all trajectories) was higher than from other regions (28-32%) (e.g., South Korea). These results imply that compared to domestic emissions, emissions from China have a stronger impact than domestic emissions on the high PM2.5 concentrations in the study area. From the IPR analysis, horizontal transport contributed substantially to PM2.5 concentrations were dominant in most of the areas of the Jeju Island during the high PM2.5 episode, while the aerosol process and vertical transport in the southern areas largely contributed to higher PM2.5 concentrations.

  • This paper presents the design of DC protection system of Light Rail Transit system. Especially, the composition and interface for DC Switchgear. Digital protection unit and sort of protection algorithm are focused. DC Switchgear (DCSWGR) for LRT testline consist of 5 different panels with peculiar characteristics are examined. Also Basic actuation principle for DC fault select relay (50F), Line Test Device (LTD), DC Overcurrent(OCR) relay are introduced.

THE VIBRATION MODE OF RAILWAY VEHICLE IS DIFFICULT TO FIND THE CHARACTERISTICS OF MOTION DURING THE OPERATION ON THE TRACK BECAUSE THESE HAPPEN TO INDEPENDENCE OR DUPLICATION MOTION CAUSED BY VEHICLE, WHEEL/RAIL AND TRACK IRREGULARITY ETC. IT IS NAMED AN ABNORMAL VIBRATION THAT THE VIBRATION, WHICH WAS PASSED THE PRIMARY AND SECONDARY SUSPENSION, IS AFFECTED TO THE PASSENGER WITHOUT DAMPING. THIS PAPER DESCRIBES AN EXPERIENCE EVALUATION TO FIND THE CAUSE OF AN ABNORMAL VIBRATION WHICH WAS HAPPEN AT OPERATING SPEED 60KPH ZONE DURING THE MAINLINE TEST.

  • Our country is promoting the introduction of new means of transportation due to insufficient supply according to the existing demand of road traffic. Among them, manless light railroad transit is settled down as the most definite alternative. However, new traffic systems such as manless light railroad have certain difference between characteristics of hardware and software and subway system. Therefore, there will be many differences compared to the existing contingency system when accidents occur. Railway management organization has to establish railway contingency plan and acquire permission from the minister of the Ministry of Land, Transport, and Maritime Affairs. However, as commercial transportation is available, a new traffic system also should establish contingency plan. Therefore, the establishment of systematic contingency plan is suggested in order to analyze characteristics of manless light railroad in the beginning of introduction and to make contingency response available.

  • Recently, the demand regarding reliability and safety of the railroad are increased as built to high-speed railway and Driverless LRT systems. Accordingly, effective management of construction projects is being applied, with the introduction and use of PMIS computerized systems. Due to the construction of railways, from the start of PMIS research planning, design, procurement, to construction and commissioning, various expertise is being carefully gathered, and by integrating it into the unified budget ideas and processes, rational, efficient, organized, and manageable financial plans are developed for the computerized system. However, the current PMIS does not take into account the life-cycle. Therefore, this study is to bring attention to the BIM smart BOM-based configuration management for life-cycle through the consideration for railway construction project management.

  • In general, railway system uses wheels so detecting speed by tachometer. However, LRT(Light Rail Transits) stands out recently as alternatives transportation, and besides of that Maglev trains are emerged as an alternative means of transportation. Maglev operates above certain heights caused inability of the measurement by tachometer which used to detect speed of wheels. Velocity Detection Signal Device of Train Control System applied in "Train Control System Project of Pilot Line Construction for Urban MAGLEV Train" which is prepared ahead of opening in 2013. This paper, therefore, explains the function and operation principal of Velocity Detection Signal Device, and suggests installation method of velocity detection loop installed around the track.
