지하철과 버스의 서비스권역 비교 및 이용자들의 도보거리 추정 - 부산시를 중심으로 - (Comparing the Service Coverages of Subways and Buses and Estimating the Walking Distances of Their Users)

  • 대도시 주변 및 중규모도시에서 경전철을 중심으로 하는 대중교통정비사업이 진행되고 있으나 새로운 교통수단인 경전철의 서비스권역 설정에 어려움이 있다. 본 연구에서는 부산시를 연구도시로 도시철도와 버스의 서비스권역을 동시에 조사하여 비교함으로써 양수단의 서비스권역의 특성을 파악하고 보행거리 추정 모형을 구축하여 장래 건설될 경전철의 서비스권역 설정에 이용될 수 있는 기초자료 및 기법을 제공하고자 한다. 도시공간 구조별로 대중교통 이용자들의 이용행태가 서로 다른점을 반영하기 위해 군집분석을 실시하여 역세권을 도심형, 부도심형, 지역중심형의 세 유형으로 구분하고 각 유형에서 1개의 역을 연구대상역으로 선정하였다. 각 수단별 도보거리 분석에서 누적분포 80% 도보거리는 지하철이 672m, 버스가 472m로 산정되었다. 지하철과 버스의 역세권 유형별 서비스권역은 지하철과 버스 모두 도심형을 제외한 부도심형, 지역중심형에서는 유의한 차이가 없음을 볼 수 있었다. 수단별 도보거리와 인적속성변수와의 관계 분석에서는 지하철의 경우 여성이 남성에 비해 도보거리가 길며 월평균 수입과 연령이 많을수록 도보거리가 짧아지는 것으로 나타났다. 지하철 이용자들의 주거유형에서는 아파트 거주자들이 단독주택 거주자 보다 적극적으로 지하철을 이용하게 하는 것으로 분석되었다. 지하철과 버스 이용자의 도보거리 추정모형은 도심형과 비도심형(부도심+지역중심형)으로 구분하고 두 교통수단 모두의 도보거리에 영향을 미치는 이용자 수입을 독립변수로 한 1차 회귀식형태의 추정모형이 구축되었다.

  • According to the current eligibility criteria in Korea, only cities with populations of more than one million are eligible to carry out urban rail transit construction projects. This paper suggests measures for improving such systems by reviewing current eligibility criteria for the construction of urban rail transit including subway and LRT in Korea.

  • 본 논문에서는 다양한 잡음환경에서의 실시간 적응화 기법을 적용하기 위한 선결 과제로 다차원 음성 특정 벡터를 저차원으로 축소하는 방법을 제안한다. 제안된 방법은 특징 벡터를 확률 우도 값으로 매핑시켜 비선형적으로 축소하는 방법으로 음성 / 비음성의 분류는 우도비 검증 (Likelihood Ratio Test; LRT) 을 이용하여 분류하였다. 실험 결과 고차원 특징 벡터를 이용하여 분류한 결과와 대등하게 분류됨을 확인할 수 있었다. 그리고, 제안된 방법에 의해 검출된 음성 데이터를 이용한 음성인식 실험에서도 10차 MFCC(Mel-Frequency Cepstral Coefficient)를 사용하여 분류한 경우와 대등한 인식률을 보여주었다.

  • The LRT(light rail transit) system, which has medium transport capacity between subway and bus is an advanced transportation system. It has many benefits like chap construction and operational cost down through driverless and flexible route planning. The rubber tired AGT(K-AGT) is a kind of LRT, which has rubber wheels and side guides. The side guides has many advantages, but brings vibration and noise problems from the friction between the guide rail and the wheels. This is the major source for the of passengers' discomfort. The purpose of this paper is to analyze dynamic characteries and running stability of the rubber tired AGT localization bogie if the AGT's speed is increased from 70 km/h to 80 km/h. The current design parameters of bogie suspension, as it is designed, was examined to satisfy the comfort index of the railway vehicle in performance test.

Negative Exponential Disparity Based Deviance and Goodness-of-fit Tests for Continuous Models: Distributions, Efficiency and Robustness

  • The minimum negative exponential disparity estimator(MNEDE), introduced by Lindsay(1994), is an excellenet competitor to the minimum Hellinger distance estimator(Beran 1977) as a robust and yet efficient alternative to the maximum likelihood estimator in parametric models. In this paper we define the negative exponential deviance test(NEDT) as an analog of the likelihood ratio test(LRT), and show that the NEDT is asymptotically equivalent to he LRT at the model and under a sequence of contiguous alternatives. We establish that the asymptotic strong breakdown point for a class of minimum disparity estimators, containing the MNEDE, is at least 1/2 in continuous models. This result leads us to anticipate robustness of the NEDT under data contamination, and we demonstrate it empirically. In fact, in the simulation settings considered here the empirical level of the NEDT show more stability than the Hellinger deviance test(Simpson 1989). The NEDT is illustrated through an example data set. We also define a goodness-of-fit statistic to assess adequacy of a specified parametric model, and establish its asymptotic normality under the null hypothesis.

  • There have been growing demand of Light Rail Transit(LRT) which have a lot of advantages such as construction costs lower than the recent subway, reduction of operational costs, availability of line planning, operation of railway non-beneficiary region, flexible operations of trains, unmanned operation and also have eco-friendly advantages, it is now becoming urban railway systems when environmental issues have been highlighted all over the world. Therefore, RAMS(Reliability, Availability, Maintainability, Safety) Process and activities for effective implementation of light rail transit projects have become a very important element, and also the utilization of computerized tools to perform these more systematically and productively is sought after these days. In this paper, we have presented a plan that can support the RAMS activities by utilizing the function of the computerized SE(Systems Engineering) tool(CORE$^{(R)}$). Through support of the computerized SE tool, it would be possible more clear and efficient railway project execution.

  • Concern about perfluorinated compounds (PFCs) is growing nationally as well as globally. PFCs could be considered emerging POPs due to their environmentally persistent, bioaccumulative, and potentially harmful properties. Moreover. perfluoroalkylates (PFAs) such as PFOS and PFOA are reported to experience long-range transport (LRT) to the Arctic in spite of their low volatility and strong solubility. The possible pathways contributing to LRT have been proposed but are still in debate in combination with unclear source definition and uncertain physico-chemical properties. The environmental fate of PFCs is more complicated because of the presence of precursors that are degraded to PFAs and are extremely different from their daughters, PFAs. in physico-chemical properties. To what extent and through what pathways are human and wildlife exposed is determined by the environmental fate and distribution of PFCs. To define uncertainties in fate and distribution thus is critical to prevent erroneous policy and/or determination related with exposure and risk reduction. This article aimed to review controversy and/or uncertain issues for the environmental fate and distribution of PFCs and to prospect research topics necessary to dissolve uncertainties.
