Multivariate finite mixture model is becoming more and more popular in image processing. Performing image denoising from image patches to the whole image has been widely studied and applied. However, there remains a problem that the structure information is always ignored when transforming the patch into the vector form. In this paper, we study the operator which extracts patches from image and then transforms them to the vector form. Then, we find that some pixels which should be continuous in the image patches are discontinuous in the vector. Due to the poor anti-noise and the loss of structure information, we propose a new operator which may keep more information when extracting image patches. We compare the new operator with the old one by performing image denoising in Expected Patch Log Likelihood (EPLL) method, and we obtain better results in both visual effect and the value of PSNR.

The purpose of this study is about the search pattern of LINNET (Library Information Network System) OPAC users by transaction log, maintained by POSTECH(Pohang University of Science and Technology) Central Library, to provide feedback information of OPAC system design. The results of this study are as follows. First, for the period of this analysis, there were totally 11, 218 log-ins, 40, 627 transaction logs and 3.62 retrievals per a log-in. Title keyword was the most frequently used, but accession number, bibliographic control number or call number was very infrequently used. Second, 47.02% of OPAC, searches resulted in zero retrievals. Bibliographic control number was the least successful search. User displayed 2.01% full information and 64.27% local information per full information. Third, special or advanced retrieval features are very infrequently used. Only 22.67% of the searches used right truncation and 0.71% used the qualifier. Only 1 boolean operator was used in every 22 retrievals. The most frequently used operator is 'and (&)' with title keywords. But 'bibliographical control number (N) and accessionnumber (R) are not used at all with any operators. The causes of search failure are as follows. 1. The item was not used in the database. (15, 764 times : 79.42%). 2. The wrong search key was used. (3, 761 times : 18.95%) 3. The senseless string (garbage) was entered. (324 times : 1.63%) On the basis of these results, some recommendations are suggested to improve the search success rate as follows. First, a n.0, ppropriate user education and online help function let users retrieve LINNET OPAC more efficiently. Second, several corrections of retrieval software will decrease the search failure rate. Third, system offers right truncation by default to every search term. This methods will increase success rate but should considered carefully. By a n.0, pplying this method, the number of hit can be overnumbered, and system overhead can be occurred. Fourth, system offers special boolean operator by default to every keyword retrieval when user enters more than two words at a time. Fifth, system assists searchers to overcome the wrong typing of selecting key by automatic korean/english mode change.

비디오 월 컨트롤러의 운용 중에 오류가 발생하면 제어 시스템은 로그 파일을 생성하고 로그를 기록한다. 로그 기록으로 인한 시스템의 부하를 줄이기 위해 로그레벨을 사용하는데, 평상시에는 로그레벨을 낮게 설정하여 가급적 로그를 기록하지 않고 오류가 발생하였을 때 로그레벨을 변경하여 상세한 로그를 기록하도록 운용하고 있다. 이로 인해 오류를 인지하더라도 즉각적인 원인 분석 및 대처가 불가능하고 로그레벨을 변경하기 위해서는 운영자의 개입이 불가피하다. 따라서 본 논문에서는 Contextual Bandit을 이용하여 운용 상황에 따라 로그레벨을 자동으로 설정하는 모델을 제안한다.

이 연구에서는 웹기반 온라인목록 이용자들의 전반적인 검색행태를 알아보기 위해, 7년 동안의 트랜잭션 로그를 분석하였다. 웹기반 온라인목록의 검색형태는 검색전략과 검색실패의 관점에서 조사하였다. 검색전략에서는 검색유형, 접근점, 연산자, 검색문의 길이, 단어 사용횟수, 웹기반 온라인목록 이용횟수, 시간대별 및 요일별 이용횟수를 분석하였다. 또한 검색실패는 검색실패율과 접근점별 검색실패율, 연산자별 검색실패율을 분석하였다. 이 연구결과는 향후 웹기반 온라인목록 시스템과 서비스 개선에 활용될 수 있을 것으로 기대된다.

The proposed method is based on a penalized log partial likelihood of Cox proportional hazard model with L1-penalty. We use the iteratively reweighted least squares procedure to solve L1 penalized log partial likelihood function of Cox proportional hazard model. It provide the ecient computation including variable selection and leads to the generalized cross validation function for the model selection. Experimental results are then presented to indicate the performance of the proposed procedure.

Let α ∈ (0, ∞), p ∈ (0, ∞) and q(·) : ℝⁿ → [1, ∞) satisfy the globally log-Hölder continuity condition. We introduce the weak Herz-type Hardy spaces with variable exponents via the radial grand maximal operator and to give its maximal characterizations, we establish a version of the boundedness of the Hardy-Littlewood maximal operator M and the Fefferman-Stein vector-valued inequality on the weak Herz spaces with variable exponents. We also obtain the atomic and the molecular decompositions of the weak Herz-type Hardy spaces with variable exponents. As an application of the atomic decomposition we provide various equivalent characterizations of our spaces by means of the Lusin area function, the Littlewood-Paley g-function and the Littlewood-Paley $g^*_{\lambda}$-function.

본 논문에서는 로그폴라 (log-polar) 영상 평면에서의 Hough 변환을 위하여, 잘 알려진 unboundedness 문제를 해결하는 새로운 폴라 형태의 로그 직선 (log line) 매개변수 방정식을 제안한다. 직각 좌표상의 영상으로부터 로그폴라 영상을 생성하기 위하여, 황반부와 주변 영역으로 분리되는 Bolduc의 방법을 이용한다. 그리고 Hough 변환의 입력으로 이용되는 로그폴라 에지 영상은 Sobel 연산자로부터 추출되는 황반부 에지 영상과 본 논문에서 제안하는 공간변형 가중치가 고려된 새로운 그래디언트 연산자가 적용되어 추출되는 주변 영역을 결합하여 생성한다. 그런데 LPM (log-polar mapping; LPM)의 고유한 특성인 비선형 표본화로 인하여 시선고착점으로부터 멀리 떨어진 주변 영역에 포함되는 로그 직선들을 구성하는 화소들은 매우 산재되어 분포된다. 이러한 로그 직선들을 효과적으로 검출하기 위하여 Hough 누적 셀의 값이 공간변형 가중치가 고려되어 계산되도록 한다. 본 논문에서 제안하는 방법이 황반부와 주변 영역을 동시에 지나는 직선들뿐만 아니라 시선고착점으로부터 멀리 떨어진 주변 영역에 존재하는 직선들도 검출될 수 있음을 실험을 통하여 확인한다.

온톨로지 통합은 두 소스 온톨로지들을 통합하여 하나의 새로운 온톨로지를 생성하는 과정으로서 시맨틱 웹, 데이타 통합, 지식관리시스템 등 여러 온톨로지 응용 시스템에서 중요하게 다루는 연구주제이다. 그러나 과거의 연구들은 대부분 두 소스 온톨로지들 사이에 의미적으로 대응되는 공통 요소를 효과적으로 찾기 위한 온톨로지 매칭 기법에 집중되어 있으며 매핑 요소들을 통합하는 과정에서 발생하는 문제를 정의하고 해결하는 방법에 대해서는 간과하고 있다. 본 논문에서는 매칭 프로세스에 의해 주어진 매핑 결과에 기반하여 두 소스 온톨로지들을 통합해 나가는 상세한 통합 프로세스를 정의하고 매핑 요소들 사이에 존재하는 통합 충돌의 유형에 대한 분류 체계 및 충돌을 탐지하고 해결하기 위한 기법을 제안한다. 또한 충돌의 탐지 및 해결을 포함하여 통합 과정을 캡슐화하는 T-MERGE 연산자와 통합 과정의 기록과 오류 복구를 위한 MergeLog를 설계 및 구현한다. 제안하는 통합 모듈의 성능을 보이기 위해 동, 서양 철학 온톨로지들과 야후 및 네이버 백과사전의 일부를 온톨로지로 구현하여 실험 데이타로 활용하였으며 그 결과 전문가의 수작업에 의한 온톨로지 통합과 동일한 결과를 적은 시간과 노력으로 얻을 수 있음을 보인다.

Korea have 3 kinds of national railway safety target, which are accident fatalities, train accident rate, and passenger fatality per passenger kilometer. Increase of railway passenger and train operator force to setting up new safety target. Current safety target can not reflect train operator's safety activities because it include suicide and trespass related accident, which are hard to control by the operators. In order to reflect to the 2nd National Integrated Railway Safety Plan, new safety targets are roposed in this study.
