한국 근대 디자인 개념과 양식의 수용 - 동경미술학교 도안과 유학생 임숙재(任璹宰)를 중심으로 (Adoption of Modern Design Concept and Style: Sook-Jae Lim and his Works)

  • This thesis is a study on Sook-Jae Lim(1899~1937) and Korean modern design. In modern Korea, design like most cultural advances came from western culture, that was introduced via Japan. So Korean design can be betterunderstood from observing Japanese modern design history. The research on Japanese modern design, however, is not being done actively. Sook-Jae Lim was the first Korean to graduate from the Department of Design at Tokyo Fine Arts School (currently the Tokyo National University of Fine Arts and Music). He died at a premature 38 years old, so very little of his works exist. That makes the study about him very difficult. From this perspective, the study aims to examine modern design concepts and styles accepted into Korea from Japan and position Lim as an early design pioneer in Korean design history, by using research of Korean and Japanese design fields in the modern era with focus on Lim and his works. Chapter II researches the process of how the concept of design was formed in modern Japan and how the "Art-Nouveau" style not only represents early modern design but also features Lim's works dominantly. Chapter III looks into the process of how the concept of design was formed and which design styles were introduced and applied in modern Korea. Chapter IV analyzes how Lim's viewpoint on design and his works were developed with observations about the tendency of the Japanese design field and curriculums of the Tokyo Fine Arts School during the period of his college days.

  • The equivalent circuit of LIM is generally composed as the same that of rotary induction motor. However it is very difficult to move the LIM at synchronous velocity for open-secondary circuit test. The resistance representing the core losses in the primary core can not be ignored because the air-gap of LIM is larger than that of rotary induction motor. In this paper, the T-type equivalent circuit of a LIM with the core loss resistance is chosen using static zero slip test and theoritical analysis.

  • Instantaneous thrust control of linear induction motor(LIM) is needed to control its speed and position more accurately. In the vector control of LIM, it is hard to calculate flux angle exactly because of end effects of LIM. So in this paper direct vector control method is utilized to control speed of LIM. The airgap magnetic flux angle measured by hall sensors is transferred directly into coordinate transformer. As a result, some experimental values of direct vector control using DSP are shown.

  • It is necessary to modify the state-of-the-art of speed control theory because of the phase asymmetry in the Linear Induction Motor (LIM)and for the constant speed control of mover using single vector control inverter system, it is important that primary stack is located in appropriated intervals in the 3D conveyer system using LIM. The dynamic characteristic analysis method of the vector controlled LIM using coupled FEM and control algorithm taking into account the movement is proposed. The focus of this paper is the analysis relative to selecting primary stack intervals in order to constant speed control in the 3D conveyer system using LIM.

  • In this paper we report test results of the dynamic characteristics of the linear induction motor(LIM) used for propulsion of the UTM-01. To test a vehicle scale LIM, we manufactured a bogie type sled propelled by LIM. In this report, the LIM end effects for both cases when the vehicle is at rest and when the vehicle is running were measured and compared with the calculations. The LIM thrust and the vertical forces were measured by the 3-component load cell and the results were compared with the calculations from measured vertical load and vehicle velocity.

  • 본 논문에서는 선형유도전동기의 전자기력에 의해 용융 금속을 이송할 수 있는 전자기 펌프에 대하여 특성 해석 및 실험 결과에 대하여 제시하였다. 선형유도전동기에서 발생하는 전자기력과 전자수력학(MHD) 현상을 결합하여 용융 금속의 이송 특성을 해석하였다. 실험은 용융 아연을 대상으로 하였으며, 해석 결과와 비교 검토하였다.

  • The equivalent circuit of linear induction motor is generally expressed as the same that of rotary induction motor. However, it is almost impossible to perform the no-load test for LIM, because it needs a special equipment for synchronous speed. Therefore, a new method is reqnired to calculate the performance of the LIM without the no-load test. In this paper, The new method which does not need no-load test for the chanracteristics analysis of LIM is proposed. The equivalent circuit of LIM is chosen and the method if determining its constants from results of the lock test is discussed. The calculated results were satisfied by compare with experimental and conventional method results.

  • This paper deals with propulsion system for the UTM-01(Urban Transit Maglev). We experiment about the LIM and the inverter at 4 running test maglev vehicle. It is measured voltage, current, power factor for inverter output. And we discussed about efficiency of the LIM about maglev system.

  • It is necessary to modify the state-of-the-art of vector control theory, because of the phase asymmetry(static end effect) in the Linear Induction Motor(LIM). The dynamic characteristic analysis method of the vector controlled LIM using coupled FEM and control algorithm taking into account the movement is proposed. The focus of this paper is the analysis relative to phenomena of static end effect due to the motor structure. To prove the propriety of the proposed method, the Digital Signal Processor(DSP) installed experimental devices are equipped and the experiment is performed.
