Viewing angle controllable liquid crystal display (LCD) associated with fringe-field switching (FFS) mode with high image quality is proposed. In the device, one pixel is composed of main and sub pixels, in which adjacent sub pixel is patterned with pixel electrodes direction orthogonal to the adjacent one. In this way, light leakage can be generated in the all viewing angle directions except the normal direction, realizing view angle controllable LCD in both horizontal and vertical directions.

In the nation, 154kV XLPE cable with an insulation thickness of 23mm have been used for transmission lines. The thickness is designed by old parameters which were determined by Kreuger, Oudin et al. in 1960s. By the way, the manufacturing technology has been developed. Especially in extruding and curing process we are using a triple common extruding head and applying gas-curing process. It allows the quality of XLPE cable improved. The paper evaluates the AC minimum insulation breakdown strength of XLPE power cable using model table. We can verify the uplifted insulation quality. And we expects the cable insulation thickness to be reduced applying the new parameter to the cable insulation design.

The complexity of newly developed protection algorithm and higher performance requested by the user makes the software embedded in the protective relay much harder to develop and maintain. The versatility of 32bit microprocessor and the availability of cheaper memory semiconductors introduced the fertile developing background for the protective relay developers. The use of component object model(COM) in the software developing process enables the developer to write much complex code in the easy and safe way and to maintain the code easily, too. And the aid of the COM library, the distributed computing environment will be expected to appear by the use of the COM programming model in the protective relay firmware program.

In case of multi-cable for one ph current in the same phase cable may be unba according to cable arrangement in underg system. In this paper, we described the way to ba current in each cable of same phase. This solut to make the impedence of each cable equal caculated the impedence of each cable for all ki cable arrangement in accordance with JCS168D finally found the cable arrangement of impedence.

Recently, competition in the interior remodeling business is fierce. However, the interior remodeling business is basically B2B, and in this business, sales are basically dictated by the capabilities of salespeople. Therefore, in this study, we intend to develop a model for the core competency of salespeople in the interior remodeling business. To this end, based on the research on the existing competency and competency modeling, the competency model of the salesperson was derived using Dubois' overlay method. A total of 12 core competencies could be defined through the first and second modeling. The subject of this study was focused on LG Hausys, the most representative interior remodeling company in Korea. Based on the core competencies developed in this way, overall sales competencies can be raised through the development of a training course to enhance the sales competencies of salespeople, and a more efficient and objective HR.

The resistive superconducting fault current limiters (SFCLs) are very attractive devices for the electric power network. But they have some serious problems when the YBCO thin films were used for the current limiting materials due to the in homogeneities caused by manufacturing process. When the YBCO films have some inhomogeneities, simultaneous quenches are difficult to achieve when the fault current limiting units are connected in series for increasing operating voltage ratings. Magnetic field application is one of the prospective way of inducing simultaneous quenches far the series-connected resistive FCL components. Magnetic field was typically generated by the fault current thorough a coil, which is connected to components of the fault current limiter in series, leaving the problem, which provides significant inductance to the power line and suppresses critical current density of the superconducting components. In this article we investigated the possible application of the protective current transformer (p-CT), which is available current source to the magnetic coil. This system inductively coupled to the circuit, therefore, remarkably reducing impedance to the circuit. The current by the protective current transformer was directly fed to the coil, generating magnetic field large enough to reduce critical current density of the components. This successfully induced simultaneous quenches of the series-connected resistive FCL components.

We compared the utilization efficiency of free lysine (FL) and dipeptide lysine-glycine (LG) in terms of growth performance and whole-body amino acid composition in olive flounder Paralichthys olivaceus. A basal experimental diet was formulated to contain 0.5% (basal) lysine from fish meal, and four other diets were prepared by supplementing 0.5% or 1.0% of either FL or LG. The experiment was performed in triplicate, and 20 randomly selected fish averaging $5.41{\pm}0.16g$ were fed one of the test diets at the rate of 3% BW/day twice daily for 6 weeks. At the end of the feeding trial, fish fed the basal diet showed significantly less weight gain than did the other groups. The results of a two-way ANOVA showed that both lysine level (P = 0.001) and type (P = 0.034) influenced growth rate; however, we found no significant interaction between lysine level and form (P > 0.05). Our results revealed a significant improvement in protein efficiency ratio (PER) with each increment of dietary lysine, and the groups fed LG-supplemented diets showed higher PER than did those offered FL. Hepatosomatic and viscerosomatic indices were significantly influenced by lysine level and form, and higher values were recorded in fish fed diets containing LG. Significantly higher whole-body arginine levels were found in LG-fed groups, and a significant interaction was observed between lysine level and form (P = 0.009). Whole-body valine and aspartic acid contents were affected by lysine level, and alanine concentration was influenced by both lysine level and form. Our findings indicate that juvenile olive flounder can utilize LG more efficiently than FL for protein synthesis.

A 3-way VLIW multimedia signal processor capable of efficient repeated operations as well as both load/store and type transformations for various data types is presented. It is composed of a 32-bit execution unit that can execute two instructions in parallel, an independent load/store unit and a control unit. The processor is implemented with 0.6${\mu}{\textrm}{m}$ gate array and the results are discussed.

Changes in building construction methods and repairing of older buildings have reduced infiltration rate. Synthetic materials, release airborne particles and uneven healthy odor are increased. For preventing pollutants introduce fresh outdoor air into the building, simply letting fresh outdoor air into building, however, Is not a cost-effective way to ventilation. When additional ventilation is added to an existing HVAC system, the heating and cooling equipment, often cannot handle the increased load. A HRV provides a way to minimize in energy costs while introducing fresh air to a building. In this study, the economical research of HRV, made of three types of materials, are conducted. Heat recovering characteristics are studied at seasonal outdoor air conditions based on the outdoor air property condition at, Seoul in 2002. As a results, the average sensible effectiveness is 0.75 in the sensible heat exchanger and average total effectiveness is 0.65 in the total heat exchanger. The pay back period of the sensible heat exchangers are $3.2{\sim}3.5$ year and it of total heat exchanger is 2.2 years.

Objective: The aim of this study is to get an optimal mental model by investigating user's natural behavior for controlling smart TV by mid-air gestures and to identify which factor is most important for controlling behavior. Background: A lot of TV companies are trying to find simple controlling method for complex smart TV. Although plenty of gesture studies proposing they could get possible alternatives to resolve this pain-point, however, there is no fitted gesture work for smart TV market. So it is needed to find optimal gestures for it. Method: (1) Eliciting core control scene by in-house study. (2) Observe and analyse 20 users' natural behavior as types of hand-held devices and control scene. We also made taxonomies for gestures. Results: Users' are trying to do more manipulative gestures than symbolic gestures when they try to continuous control. Conclusion: The most natural way to control smart TV on the remote with gestures is give user a mental model grabbing and manipulating virtual objects in the mid-air. Application: The results of this work might help to make gesture interaction guidelines for smart TV.
