  • 지금 까지 유도 가열용 인버터의 여러 가지 회로 방식이 소개 되었다. 그러나, 회로 방식을 선정 하는데 있어서 설계자의 취향, 또는 종래의 회로을 채택으로 인하여, 각기 다른 출력, 스위치 소자의 정격 전압, 전류, 및 수동 소자의 정격 전압, 전류을 만족하는 회로 선정이 될 수 있는 수식적 모델링, 비교 실험이 부족 하였다.

  • In this paper, a new planar transformer with a novel core configuration that can regulate the leakage inductance is proposed and described in detail. In order to design the slim size power system for flat panel TV, Two planar transformers applied to LLC resonant converter are connected in series at primary and in parallel by the center-tap winding at secondary. In this paper, a 300W low profile LLC resonant converter was built and tested to verify the proposed planar transformer.

  • The proper placement of work-coil is needed for heating the interior of an IH rice cooker uniformly. It is possible that the flavor of rice is better by heating it through the optimal placement of the work-coil of the IH rice cooker. This paper describes the procedure and the result of finding the optimal placement of the work-coil by analyzing the properties of the rising temperatures of the interior through Taguchi Method.

  • This paper presents the parameter measurement methods for high performance drive of induction motors. The proposed methods are selected by considering the factors that affect accuracy of measurement. Each method are refined to be adequate for measurement of each motor parameters. Proposed methods are easy to implement and only require inverter-motor system, which are important for practical application.

  • A conventional PI controller does not provide a proper response in face of various kinds of load variation. In this paper, three types of fuzzy-PI hybrid control scheme are proposed in order to improve the performance of the PI controller. The proposed control schemes are applied to the speed controller of AC servo motor systems. The effectiveness of the proposed methods is shown by computer simulation and the advantage of each control scheme is discussed.

  • Off-axis color shift in the dark state and gray scale inversion in an in-plane switching (IPS) liquid crystal display (LCD) device were investigated. Analyses were performed using the Poincar$\acute{e}$ sphere representation. The results show that color shift in the dark state and gray scale inversion in an IPS LCD can be reduced by using a biaxial film. We confirmed the extent of these improvements by measuring the optical performance of a fabricated IPS LCD.

  • AC-plasma display panels were examined before and after the aging process to analyze the effect of the aging process. The gas analysis was done to detect the impurity gases out of the MgO film and phosphor by a residual gas analyzer. There were no differences found in the components. The MgO film was analyzed to find out the effect of an ion bombardment due to discharge. The surface roughness of the MgO film was different from regional groups due to the different degree of ion bombardments. XPS analysis showed that the 8 hour aging process was not sufficient to remove $Mg(OH)_2$ and $MgCO_3$ existed on the MgO surface. Photoluminescence measurement showed the small deterioration of blue and green phosphor.

  • Currently co-work programs between industries and engineering schools play an important role for mutual interests, win-win strategy. Industries can develop new technologies through the human resources and facilities in school and schools are able to have research achievements by applying their own theoretical abilities to real field of industries's projects. However most co-work programs between industries and engineering schools mainly focus on programs such as research projects with graduate research lab, on-site training for job and training program for field engineers. And more it is difficult for schools to make co-work programs targeted engineering education for undergraduate school students because of many constraints such as planing program, budget and indifference of companies. Therefore this paper introduces LG Electronics Display Idea Competition hosted by LG Display Division in Kumi, S. Korea and present what benefits to both school and company made through this program and unique model of co-work program for engineering education between school and company in country.

  • By irradiating photoresist on Si or glass with $Ar^+$ (${\lambda}$=514 nm, CW) and Nd:YAG (${\lambda}$=266 and 532nm, pulse) laser beam, the photoresist was etched masklessly in air. Using a fourth harmonic Nd:YAG laser beam, the etching threshold of energy fluence was $25\;J/cm^2$ and the damage of substrate was appeared over $40\;J/cm^2$.
