LED와 메탈핼라이드 집어등을 겸용한 갈치채낚기 어선의 조업 성능 (Operating Performance of hair-tail angling vessel using the LED and metal halide fishing lamp combination)

  • One of representative Korean fisheries, jigging and angling has 5,700 vessels for squid and hairtail. Hairtail angling is the most typical fishery in Jeju and has an enormous impact on regional economy. However, the price hike in oil and labor costs triggered the necessity of developing a high efficient and energy saving fish luring lamp in recent times. For that reason, this study aimed to analyze the fishing performance of the aircooled LED lamp targeting hairtail angling fishery. The experiment was conducted from September through October in 2009-2011 for a 9.77 ton of fishing vessel setting up 100 lamps. The fishing performance was tested compared with 6 vessels using metal halide lamps in the same waters. As the LED lamp's performance goes up, different lamps were used in 2008 for 80W, 2009 for 120W and 2011 for 180W respectively. The catch and CPUE of the experimental vessel have gradually increased respectively taking the $4^{th}$ and $6^{th}$ place in 2009, the $4^{th}$ and $2^{nd}$ place in 2010, the $1^{st}$ and $1^{st}$ place in 2011 among the 7 vessels. In summary, the LED fishing lamp showed higher fishing performance than comparison groups. It saved 33% of oil consumption and cut down on operating expenses and greenhouse gases emission.

블루투스 기반 LED 알람 무드등 (Bluetooth based LED Alarm Lamp)

  • 본 논문에서는 블루투스를 기반으로 실내의 조명, LED 그리고 알람시계를 제어할 수 있는 것을 제안한다. 제안된 블루투스 기반 LED 알람 무드등(Bluetooth based LED Alarm Lamp)은 블루투스 모듈을 이용하여 ON/OFF를 할 수 있으며, 조도센서 및 전압을 변압시켜 ON/OFF 및 빛 밝기를 조정할 수 있도록 설계하였다. 또한 7-segment를 이용하여 시계를 표시하였고 피에조 부조를 이용하여 시간에 맞춰 알람을 울리게 할 수 있도록 설계하였다. 그리고 터치센서를 이용하여 전압을 낮춰 빛 밝기를 조절할 수 있다. 또한 알람을 맞출 수 있는 기능을 추가하였다. 본 작품(블루투스 기반 LED 알람 무드등)은 환경이 어두울 때 전압이 유지되고 있다면 자동으로 ON되는 시스템으로 거주자의 방에 안락한 내부 환경을 제공할 수 있다. 그리고 약한 불빛으로 인한 수면 시간의 질을 향상시킬 수 있는 것에 중점을 두어 설계하였다.

실습선에 의한 LED 집어등의 오징어 어획성능 (Fishing efficiency of LED fishing lamp for squid Todarodes pacificus by training ship)

  • This study surveyed the fishing efficiency for Japanese common squid based on improvements made to LED fishing lamps by utilizing the training ship of Gangwon Provincial College. The training ship, Haesong-ho (24 tons), was equipped with seventy-two 150W electric power LED fishing lamps (10.8kW), and their fishing efficiency and fuel consumption level were surveyed for a total of ten times during the period between June 15, 2009 and July 27, 2009. In addition, the training ship was equipped with seventy-one 300W electric power LED fishing lamps (21.3kW) and their fishing efficiency and fuel consumption level were surveyed for a total of five times during the period between January 17, 2010 and August 4, 2010. In order to compare the fishing efficiency of LED fishing lamps, the catch of another fishing vessel equipped with Metal Halide (MH) fishing lamps of 120kW for the same period and at the same fishing grounds. The fuel consumption levels during the fishing operation of Haesong-ho was about 1,047.7 liters which was approximately 19.9% of the total fuel consumption level of 5,262.6 liters, and the fuel consumption level per operation hour was on average 9.2 liters. The number of Japanese common squid caught by the LED fishing lamp-equipped fishing vessel ranged from 12 to 1,640 squid for each fishing trial and the average quantity was 652. The number of Japanese common squid caught by the MH fishing lamp-equipped 10 fishing vessels ranged from 40 to 4,800 squid and the average quantity was 2,055. The fishing of Japanese common squid was done by the use of hand lines and an automatic jigging machine. The number of Japanese common squid caught per hand line and a single roller of the automatic jigging machine was in the proportion of 50.8% to 49.2% with respect to the LED fishing lamp-equipped fishing vessel. However, the number of Japanese common squid caught per hand line and a single roller of the automatic jigging machine was in the proportion of 86.4% to 13.6% with respect to the MH fishing lamp-equipped fishing vessel where most of the catch was made by hand lines. On the other hand, in comparing the number of Japanese common squid caught per automatic jigging machine, the number of squid caught by the LED fishing lamp-equipped fishing vessel was about the same or greater than the number of squid caught by the MH fishing lamp-equipped fishing vessel.

  • 본 연구는 최근 친수공간 확대로 수중보의 경관조명 수요가 급격히 늘어나고 있으나 현재 사용하는 수중보 조명등의 안전성과 연출효과가 떨어지는 등 문제점이 발생되므로 수중보 조명등을 개선하기 위해 안전성, 에너지 절감, 연출에 대한 유연성에 주관점을 두고 실태조사를 통한 문제점을 도출 분석하여 수중보조명등을 LED몰드 수중등으로 개발하였다. 본 연구의 결과물을 실용화함으로써 수중보 조명은 댐, 분수, 수영장 등 수변공간에 다양하게 확대 적용 가능할 것으로 사료된다.

  • As products using LEDs are developed actively, also there has been large request for LED products that can replace traditional lamps like fluorescent lamps and metal halide lamps. But so far there is no proper standard that manufacturer can use and test it. As a result manufacturer can't develop retrofit LED lamps and sell it even they have technology. In this study, by analyzing control gear for fluorescent lamp that is currently used in market which is magnetic or electronic ballast, I'd like to develop proper test method by investigating compatibility between all-type control gear and LED retrofit products.

150W LED등기구 방열을 위한 열 해석에 관한 연구 (A Study on Heat Simulation for Heat Radiation in 150W LED)

  • For long life time and high efficiency, not necessary in improvement of LED chip structure, but also improve heat radiation for decrease heat in LED chip. In this study, efficiency decline factor has been investigated in LED lamp as study heat characteristic, luminance flux and heat resistance. When LED lamp temperature was increased, about 7% loss of luminance flux. In consequence of temperature analysis, width of fin was the most important factor of heat radiation. As a result, secure the enough heat path is very important factor of LED lamp design.

FPL형광램프 대체형 LED램프의 조도특성에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Optical Characteristics of LED Lamp as Alternative Type of FPL Lamp)

  • Compared to conventional molding technology, the color uniformity of light direction emitted from LED is improved with PCB type lead frame technology in which metal thin film is used and transfer molding technology which makes the density of phosphor uniform by manufacturing high density LED lamp. The light efficiency and the color uniformity of the LED are improved by molding the phosphor layer outside of chip and controlling the thickness of the phosphor layer. CIE x,y difference of LED in major axis is also improved uniformly from 0 to 90 degrees.

자동차 LED Head Lamp의 방열을 위한 Heat Sink의 수치해석적 연구 (A Study on the Numerical Analysis of Heat Sink for Radiant Heat of Automotive LED Head Lamp)

  • 본 논문은 자동차 LED head lamp의 방열을 위한 히트싱크(heat sink)의 설계요소를 변화시켜 방열특성을 알아보고자 수치해석을 수행하였다. 수치해석에 적용한 히트싱크는 LED를 광원으로 사용하는 기존제품(Type 1)을 바탕으로 한정된 내부공간에 적합하도록 설계하여 5가지 Type으로 설계하였다. 설계된 히트싱크의 수치해석은 ANSYS CFD V12.1을 사용하여 히트싱크의 변화에 따른 온도분포와 평균온도, 공기유동특성, 열유속 등을 분석하였다. 수치해석을 통하여 방열판의 구조와 휜 형상에 따른 방열특성의 상관관계를 도출할 수 있었으며, 설계된 히트싱크의 온도분포, 공기의 유동특성, 열유속 등을 분석한 결과, 히트싱크 Type 2가 다른 Type들에 비해 LED head lamp의 방열을 위해 적합한 특성을 나타내었다.

오징어 채낚기어선용 LED 집어등의 어획성능 (Fishing efficiency of LED fishing lamp for squid jigging vessels)

  • This study has conducted a comparative analysis on the fishing efficiency of LED fishing lamps by squid jigging vessels, the Yeongrak-ho (16 tons) and Somang-ho (9.77 tons), which operated during September and October 2010 and during October 2011, comparing with MH (Metal Halide) fishing lamp-equipped fishing vessels. This study has also examined vessel's fuel consumption level. The light powers of LED fishing lamps of the Yeongrak-ho and Somang-ho were 25.8kW and 32kW, respectively. Those of the MH fishing vessels, that is, the MH fishing lamp-equipped fishing vessels, were 105kW and 81kW, respectively. The average squid catch in number of an LED vessel, Yeongrak-ho, was 39.2% of the MH fishing lamp-equipped fishing vessels; however, that of the Somang-ho improved to 78.7% of the MH fishing lamp-equipped vessels. Average catch in number by Yeongrak-ho crew was 2.6 times more than catch in number by automatic jigging machines. Average catch in number by MH fishing vessel crew was 1.8 times more than that by automatic jigging machines. An LED vessel, Yeongrak-ho's fishing rate was 17.5%~152.2% of the MH fishing vessels, that is, 61.1% on average, in comparison of combined catch in number per automatic jigging machine and per crewmember. Somang-ho's fishing rate was 6.7%~127.6% of the MH fishing vessels, that is, 73.1% on average. The average fuel consumption level of the Somang-ho, throughout its departure from to arrival at the port, was 475.7l, and that during fishing hours was 109.6l, or 23.0% of the total fuel consumption level. Somang-ho's fuel consumption level per fishing hour was 9.7l on average.
