This study was performed to determine the optimal composition of muffins added with dropwort powder, egg and sugar. The experiment was designed based on BBD (Box-behnken design), and evaluation was carried out by means of RSM (response surface methodology), consisting of 13 experimental points with three replicates each for three independent variables dropwort powder, eggs and sugar. Using F-test, height, moisture, 1,1-diphenyl-2picriylhydrazyl (DPPH) radical scavenging activity, L-value, a-value, springiness, cohesiveness, chewiness, brittleness, color, and appearance acceptability were expressed as a linear model, whereas pH, b-value, flavor, taste, and texture were expressed as a quadratic model. After swallow and overall acceptability were expressed as a 2FI model. As dropwort powder content increased, 1,1-diphenyl-2picriylhydrazyl (DPPH) radical scavenging activity increased. Increasing amounts of dropwort powder led to reduction of sensory scores for color, appearance, flavor, taste, and texture quality. The optimum formulation determined by the numerical and graphical methods were similar: dropwort powder 6 g, egg 77 g, and sugar 60 g.

Light fermentation has been conducted under different light conditions such as normal dark light, white light, and light emitting diodes (LEDs) various color (blue, green, red, white on blueberry powder with fermenting bacteria Bacillus subtilis (B2). The bacteria B2 was isolated and identified by 16S rRNA sequencing method. RYRP biologically converted to secondary metabolites through light fermentation in the presence of Bacillus subtilis, the bacteria actively involved in bioconversion process. LEDs fermentation to enhance the production of phenolic content while comparing to normal dark and white light. Among the different color LEDs, blue LEDs mediated fermentation showed higher amount of total phenolic and flavonoid content. Then blue LEDs mediated fermented compound were characterized by FTIR and GC-MS, subsequently the compound was analyzed antioxidant activity tests and the antioxidant activity exhibited higher. This is the first study to demonstrate that B. subtilis-LEDs mediated fermentation is useful for facilitating phenolic compound production and enhancing antioxidant activity, which may have greater application fermentation fields.

The ocean signal that reaches the detector of an imaging system after multiple interactions with the atmospheric molecules and aerosols was retrieved from the total signal recorded at the top of the atmosphere (TOA). A simple method referred to as 'Path Extraction' applied to the Landsat-TM ocean imagery of turbid coastal water was compared with the conventional dark-pixel subtraction technique. The shape of the path-extracted water-leaving radiance spectrum resembled the radiance spectrum measured in-situ. The path-extraction was also extended to the SeaWiFS ocean color imagery and compared with the standard SeaWiFS atmospheric correction algorithm, which relays on the assumption of zero water leaving radiance at the two NIR wavebands (765 and 865nm). The path-extracted water-leaving radiance was good agreement with the measured radiance spectrum. In contrast, the standard SeaWiFS atmospheric correction algorithm led to essential underestimation of the water-leaving radiance in the blue-green part of the spectrum. The reason is that the assumption of zero water-leaving radiance at 755 and 865nm fails due to backscattering by suspended mineral particles. Therefore, the near infrared channels 765 and 865nm used fur deriving the aerosol information are no longer valid for turbid coastal waters. The path-extraction is identified as a simple and efficient method of extracting the path radiance largely introduced due to light interaction through the complex atmosphere carried several aerosol and gaseous components and at the air-sea interface.interface.
Single-phased $CaZrO_3:Dy^{3+}$, $Tm^{3+}$ series have been successfully synthesized by solid-state reaction, and their luminescence properties were investigated. Under 355 nm excitation, $CaZrO_3:Dy^{3+}$ series showed characteristic emission of $Dy^{3+}$, which exhibited yellowish white color. By introducing $Tm^{3+}$ into the matrix, the emitted hue of the $Dy^{3+}$-doped sample could be easily tailored to white, and simultaneously, energy transfer from $Tm^{3+}$ to $Dy^{3+}$ was observed. The color coordinates of the optimum white-emitting sample were (0.321, 0.323), which were very close to the data of the National Television Standard Committee (0.33, 0.33). The co-activated phosphors presented good match to ultraviolet light-emitting diodes (LEDs), which revealed that they could be novel promising phosphors utilized in white LED application.

These days, research related to Intelligent Transportation System (ITS) technology is being widely considered. ITS is inevitable for future transportation systems to reduce accidents, congestion, and offer a smooth flow of traffic. The use of Visible Light Communication (VLC) in ITS systems has been considered widely because of its EMC/EMI free and LED infrastructure reusable properties. Among the VLC schemes, this study analyzed the performance of the Color Shift Keying (CSK) scheme under a Vehicle-to-Infrastructure (V2I) downlink scenario to verify the capability of CSK as a communication tool for ITS. By modeling daylight noise using the modified Blackbody radiation model, this study examined the performance of V2I VLC under daytime conditions. The relationship between BER, the communication distance, and the amount of ambient-light noises under the pre-described V2I scenario were determined by simulations.
Introduction of vegetatively propagated Petunia hybrids since 1992 led to increasing virus infections of propagation material. Petunia hybrid 'Surfinia' cultivated for pot-plant showed yellowing symptom along with stunt. Flowers were smaller in size and showed color-break symptom. Tobacco mosaic virus(TMV-pet) was isolated from the diseased petunia. Healthy petunia plants inoculated with TMV-pet induced mottle on leaves and color-break on flowers, and plants were stunted. Nucleotide sequences of coat protein gene amplified from RNA prepared from Nicotiana tabacum cv. Samsun infected with TMV-pet were determined(GenBank accession no. DQ981481). It showed 99.0% nucleotide sequence homology with TMV-potato3-2(GenBank accession no. AF318215) isolated from potato showing yellow mosaic and stunt symptom, and with a TMV Korean strain(GenBank accession no. X68110). This is the first reported observation of TMV from vegetatively propagated petunia in Korea.
Recent development of deep learning techniques for image generation has led to straightforward generation of sophisticated deepfakes. However, as a result, privacy violations through deepfakes has also became increased. To solve this issue, a number of techniques for deepfake detection have been proposed, which are mainly focused on RGB channel-based analysis. Although existing studies have suggested the effectiveness of other color model-based analysis (i.e., Grayscale), their effectiveness has not been quantitatively validated yet. Thus, in this paper, we compare the effectiveness of Grayscale channel-based analysis with RGB channel-based analysis in deepfake detection. Based on the selected CNN-based models and deepfake datasets, we measured the performance of each color model-based analysis in terms of accuracy and time. The evaluation results confirmed that Grayscale channel-based analysis performs better than RGB-channel analysis in several cases.
Rose seed shows low germination percentages (about 20%) because it has a high amount of substances that inhibit germination in the pericarp. We investigated the effect of orientation of achene, the day after pollination (DAP), and cold storage with or without half-cut in achene for the germination percentage in R. rugosa. Germination percentages of intact or half-cut achenes were investigated in a 16-hour photoperiod at $25^{\circ}C$ room on basal MS medium for two weeks. In germination percentage, maximum 100% was measured within one week when half-cut achenes were cultured on an orientation that the embryos facing to the light. Half-cut achenes at 90 DAP were germinated 100% regardless of cold storage. Various LED lights (red, blue, yellow, green, and white) were illuminated over the half-cut achenes to gain the effect of light color. Germination percentage of R. rugosa seeds under blue LED reached the greatest with 90% within one week of culture and these seedlings were the best with a steady growth rate. It is concluded that half-cut achenes would be an effective method to improve seed germination in R. rugosa without stratification or scarification. This system could be applied to breeding studies in rose cultivars.

To study the behavioral reaction of common squid Todarodes pacificus, to different colors of LED light, individual distribution in the dark condition without LED light stimuli, individual distribution when four colors of light stimuli were at the sections of end and middle of water tank and the changes of gathering rates as the elapse of illuminating time were examined. When it was dark, the distribution of the fish in each section of the tank was U-shape regardless of the investigating time intervals, which means that Todarodes pacificus gathered at the both ends of the tank. The individual distribution when light stimuli were at the one end of the tank showed the tendency of gathering at the illuminated section and decreasing at the opposite section. There were 448 of them at the end of the tank when the light was blue, 352 when white, 302 when green and 132 when red. Thus the fish liked blue light the most, followed by white light. The variations of gathering rate at the both ends of tank as illuminating time elapsed showed the tendency of increasing at the light section (A section), however, it showed the tendency of decreasing at the darkest section (F section). The individual distribution showed the tendency of letter $\wedge$ of gathering at the center and decreasing at the both ends mostly when the light stimuli were at the middle section of tank. The gathering rates at the lighting section were 80.4% when red, 76.4% when white, 69.6% when green and 56.7% when blue. The fishes showed the affinity for the red light mostly, followed by the white light source. The red light and blue light showed the opposite when the light stimuli were at the one end of water tank. The variations of gathering rates as the elapse of time at the lighted section showed the tendency of gradual increasing in the four light sources. The color of light source showing the highest gathering rate within 25-30 minutes of light stimuli was the white, followed by the red.

This is concerned with the technology to display the design on Porcelain and adjust malfunction for moving effect and light intensity by curator. More precisely, the technology makes it possible that the porcelain is connected to Light module which is the device for controlling light emission and rotating rolling plate, etc that are connected to LED light module, optical fiber and controller that is for scenario from the given storytelling. In addition, with a WiFi portable device (Smart-phone, other mobile device). equipped with a scenario programs, information for operation, failure and malfunction can be obtained and analyzed in real-time, and menu color and alarm is alerted when the displaying design is in abnormal status, which makes the early reactions to the status. Furthermore, the collected data can be sent through WiFi network to the device and PC managed by the curator specialized in managing the design on the Porcelain, thus the technology could help the curator who have less knowledge about moving pattern on the Porcelain. There is always a possibility of malfunction due to various condition that are caused by wring-harness when modules are wired-connected. In this research, in order to overcome this problem, we propose a system configuration that can do monitoring and diagnosis with a device for collecting data from LED control module, Light emission sensor and a personal WiFi device. Also, we performed connection between optical Fiber and LED and interlock for the system defined by the definition for information and storytelling scenario.
