  • 본 논문은 LCD 생산라인의 물류 자동화 시스템 중 OHS와 같은 선형 이송시스템에 적용이 가능한 영구자석 여자 횡자속 선형 전동기 개발에 관한 내용이다. 3차원 등가 자기 회로망법을 이용한 해석과 정특성 실험을 통해 전동기의 특성을 분석하여, 직선-곡선부에서 이송 가능한 횡자속 선형전동기 추진모듈의 사양을 결정하고 시작품을 설계, 제작하여 OHS 시스템 등의 이송시스템에 적용 가능한지 그 타당성을 검토하였다.

The study for Six Sigma Robust Design of Column part for LCD Transfer system (LCD이송장치 Column부의 식스 시그마 강건설계를 위한 연구)

  • This research studied robust design of column part for LCD transfer system. $1^{st}$ DOE(Design of Experiment)was conducted to find out main effect factors. 36 experiments were performed and their results were shows that the geometric parameters(Low-length, Side-length, Upper-thickness, Middle-thickness)are more important than other factors. The main effect plots shows that the maximum deflection of column is minimized with increasing Low-length, Side-length, under-thickness and Middle-thickness. $2^{nd}$ DOE was conducted to obtain RMS(Response Surface Method)equation 25 experiments were conducted. The CCD(Central Composite Design)technique with four factors were used. The coefficient of determination $(R^2)$ for the calculated RSM equation was 0.986. Optimum design was conducted using the RSM equation Multi-island genetic algorithm was used to optimum design. Optimum value for Low-length. Side-length, Upper-thickness and Middle-thickness were 299.8mm, 180.3mm, 21.7mm, 21.9mm respectively. An approximate value of 5.054mm in deflection was expected to be a maximum under the optimum conditions. Six sigma robust design was conducted to find out guideline for control range of design parameter. To acquire six sigma level reliability, the standard deviation of design parameter should be controlled within 2% of average design value.

  • The FPDs(Flat Panel Displays) such as LCD(Liquid Crystal Display) and PDP(Plasma Display Panel) and OLED(Organic Light Emitting Diode), recently, have been substituted for CRT(Cathode Ray Tube) displays because they have a convex surface, small volume, light weight and lower electric power consumption. The productivity of FPDs is greatly dependent on the area of thin glass panel with 0.6 - 0.8mm thickness because FPDs are manufactured by cutting a large-scaled thin glass panel with patterns to the required product dimensions. So FPD's industries are trying to increase the area of thin glass panel. For example, the thin glass panel size of the 8th generation is 2,200mm in width, 2,600mm in length and 0.7mm in thickness. The air flows both in the thin glass panel and in the porous PE-plate surface were modeled and analyzed, from which a working condition was estimated. The thin glass panel on the porous PE-plate surface with self-lubricating characteristics was investigated and compared with that on the square duct floating bar surface with many holes of 1mm diameter when the thin glass panel contacts the floating bar surface due to malfunction of electric power supply.

A Study on Efficiency of Contactless Power Supply System for Stocker System (Stocker 시스템에 적용한 비접촉 전린 시스템의 효율에 관한 연구)

  • Recently, As increasing cleanroom size, Stocker system is trending the large size and long distance for LCD material transfer system. In order to rise a rate of production, the manufacturer are on the decrease of total tact time with Stocker system. And the manufacturer are requested to high speed of next generation Stocker system. Therefore, this paper propose Contactless Power Supply(CPS) system about high speed of next generation Stocker system. This paper proposes CPS system is applied in the long distance and straight section with Stocker system. The test results of input/output characteristic and efficiency of CPS system on operating pattern of Stocker system were analyzed, and proved the applicability on commercial use.

  • The servo motor is used for the driving power source of the conventional linear conveyor system. The mechanical power transfer system is needed for converting the circular to the linear operation. But this system causes some problems of position error, the necessity of the periodical maintenance. In this paper the study on application of transverse flux linear motor(TFLM) is carried out for the indexer system of LCD processing because TFLM has much thrust per a volume than the conventional motor. TFLM is suitable system for the indexer system because of capacity of acceleration, maximum speed and precision of the position, etc.

  • 본 논문은 LCD 제조 공정라인에서 LCD 원판을 이송하기 위한 영구자석 여자 횡자속형 선형 진동기 개발에 관한 내용이다. 3차원 등가 자기 회로망법과 2차원 유한 요소법을 사용하여 이동자의 단부 효과를 고려하여 전동기 특성을 해석하였으며 정특성 실험을 통하여 설계 및 해석의 타당성을 검증하였다.

  • 최근, LCD(Liquid Crystal Display) 산업에서 클린룸의 규모가 커짐에 따라 Stocker 시스템의 사이즈가 커지고 길이가 장거리화 되고 있다. 이에 제조업체는 생산수율을 높이기 위해 Stocker 시스템의 전체 택타임을 줄이기 위한 방안으로 Stocker 시스템의 속도를 증가시키도록 요구하고 있다. 또한, 제조업체는 고유가 시대에 여러 장비들에 대한 에너지 절약을 통한 공장 운영비용이 최소화되도록 요구하고 있다. 따라서 본 논문은 차세대 Stocker 시스템의 에너지 절감과 이송 속도증가에 따른 비접촉 전원시스템의 최적설계를 제안하고, 에너지 절감을 위한 비접촉 전원시스템의 시제품을 제작하여 부하인 크레인의 여러 운전 패턴에 따른 비접촉 전원시스템의 실증시험과 입/출력 특성, 효율 개선에 따른 비접촉 전원시스템을 개발하여 에너지 절감 효과에 대하여 서술하였다.

  • 기존의 선형 이송 시스템은 구동원으로 서보모터를 사용하고 있다. 서보 모터의 회전 운동을 직선운동으로 변환하기 위해서는 기계적인 동력전달 장치가 필요하며, 이는 위치 오차의 발생이나 주기적인 시스템의 유지보수의 필요성 등의 문제점을 야기한다. 본 논문에서는 단위 체적당 추력비가 기존의 모터에 비해 우수한 횡축형 선형전동기를 이용하여 LCD 공정에 사용되는 indexer 시스템의 선형 추진부에 적용하는 연구를 수행하였다. 실험결과 횡축형 선형전동기는 가속능력 최대 속도 및 위치결정 정밀도 등에서 indexer 시스템에 적용하기에 적합한 것을 검증하였다.
