  • In this study, the light addressable potentiometric sensors (LAPS) with $Si_{3}N_{4}/SiO_{2}/Si$, and $Ta_{2}O_{5}/SiO_{2}/Si$ structures were fabricated. The penicillinsae was immobilized on the devices to hydrolyze the penicillin using self-assembled monolayer (SAM) method. Then response characteristics according to the penicillin concentrations were measured and compared. The measuring system was simplified by using LabVIEW. The pH response characteristics of fabricated devices are 56 mV/pH ($Si_{3}N_{4}$ sensing membrane) and 61 mV/pH ($Ta_{2}O_{5}$ sensing membrane). The sensitivity of sensor by enzyme reaction result of the enzyme reaction were 60 mV/decade and 74 mV/decade for $Si_{3}N_{4}/SiO_{2}/Si$ and $Ta_{2}O_{5}/SiO_{2}/Si$ structure, respectively, in the range of $0.1\;mM{\sim}10\;mM $of the penicillin concentration.

  • A very high resolution weather analysis system (VHRAS) of 50 m horizontal resolution is established based on LAPS. VHRAS utilizes the 3 hourly forecast data of the Unified Model (UM) of the Korea Meteorological Administration (KMA) with the horizontal resolution of 12 km as initial guess fields. The analysis system ingests the automatic weather station (AWS) data as input observations. The analysis system operates every hour for Seoul, Korea region in real time basis. It takes less than 10 minutes for one analysis cycle. The size of grid of the analysis domain is $800{\times}660$, respectively. The analysis results from December 2010 to February 2011 showed that the mean biases of temperature, maximum and minimum temperature were -0.07, 1.6, $0.2^{\circ}C$, respectively. The temperature in the central part of the city revealed relatively higher value than that of the surrounding mountainous areas, which showed a heat island feature. The heat island appears in zonal direction since the central city region is developed along a large river. Along the heat island, the eastern region was warmer than the western region. The warmer temperature in the western part of the heat island was caused by anthropogenic heat change in conjunction with the change of land use. This system will provide more reliable weather data and information in Seoul.

  • The purpose of this study is to define the process of leading to self-realization and social solidarity through the process of contents planning, production, and distribution as Contents Activism, and to categorize specific execution steps. Based on this, we try to analyze concrete cases to find out the social meaning and effect of the practice of Contents Activism. As for the research method, after examining the differences between traditional activism and Contents Activism through a review of previous studies, the implementation process of Contents Activism was categorized into 7 steps. By applying this model, this study analyzed two cases of Contents Activism. The first case is the 100 laps challenge in the backyard planned by an elderly man ahead of his 100th birthday in early 2020, when the fear of COVID-19 spread. Sir Tom Moore, who lives in the UK, challenged to walk 100 laps in the backyard to help medical staff from the National Health Service as COVID-19 infections and deaths increased due to a lack of protective equipment. His challenge, which is difficult to walk without assistive devices due to cancer surgery and fall aftereffects, drew sympathy and participation from many people, leading to global solidarity. The second case analyzes the case of 'The Unfreedom of Expression, Afterwards' by Kim Seo-kyung and Kim Woon-seong, who were invited to the 2019 Aichi Triennale special exhibition in Japan. The 'Unfreedom of Expression, After' exhibition was a project to display the Statue of Peace and the lives of comfort women in the Japanese military, but it was withdrawn after three days of war due to threats and attacks from the far-right forces. Overseas artists who heard this news resisted the Triennale's decision, took and shared photos in the same pose as the Statue of Peace on social media such as Twitter and Instagram, empathizing with the historical significance of the Statue of Peace. Activism, which began with artists, has expanded through social media to the homes, workplaces, and streets of ordinary citizens living in various regions. The two cases can be said to be Contents Activism that led to social practice while solidifying and communicating with someone through contents.

  • The purpose of this study was to find, through field and questionaire survey, the problems in arrngement of reinforcing bars in wall-slab type apartment buildings. The survey was done in 88 construction sites over the country. The findings from the survey were as followed : (1) reinforcement details were unnecessarily complex in some structural members and could be simplified without sacrificing the safety of the structures; (2) It was found in many cases that drawings of reiforcement failed to show the location of the laps, bent-up positions, and the development length; and (3) it was often found that the workers did not understand the importance of tloerence limits and anchorage in the steel bar arrangement.

  • Decomposition in the litteras of platanus orientalis was studied by month in the dam of seoul national university. total amounts of the litter had the tendency to decrease with the laps of the time. Those of crude protein and phosphate contents, however, increased much more than initial amounts. It was throught that the growth of aquatic microbes gave rise to increase them. Dry weight, organic matter and holocellulose tended to decreased gradually. But, the amount of calcium loss increased rapidly since march and then the amoung of potassium and sodium decreased slowly. It was thought that this changing pattern was ascribed to water temperature, the growth of aquaqtic microbes and the leaching of soluble parts by stream current.

  • A load flow and short circuit fault simulation of AC electrified railway distribution systems is presented with DIgSILENT PowerFactory software. Load flow of electrified railways distribution system with concerning multi train lines and dynamic characteristics of train load is studied for different time laps. The dynamic characteristics of train load in starting and braking conditions with different starting and stopping times and its moving positions makes the load flow complicated so there is a great need in studying the effects of electrified railways on load flow. Short circuit fault transients is also studied and simulated for both power system or traction distribution system and their effects on the operation of the train sets is investigated.

  • The tensile properties of polyester warp knitted fabrics of satin and reverse satin structure with various lengths of underlap were studied. In the range of low tension, the satin warp knitted fabric showed larger tensile energy and elongation in the direction of $0^\circ$ and larger tensile linearity, tensile resilience and initial modulus in $90^\circ$. Meanwhile, reverse satin one showed larger initial moduli in 0$^{\circ}$ and larger the others in $90^\circ$. In the range of high tension, the tendencies of both fabrics in $0^\circ$ direction were almost the same as those in all direction. As the under laps were shorter for both fabrics, tensile linearity, tensile energy and elongation increased, but tensile resilience decreased in all directions. However initial moduli were changed little.

  • In order to examine spindle deformation characteristics that affects the performance of dynmic cutting acuracy due to tool weight variation in a experimental spindle. thermal deformation value of operrative spindle by the axial displacement and the radial run out was measured according to the rise of spindle temperature through the laps of operation time and the change of rotational speed under the tool weight variation. A qualitative summary is as follows ; 1) The results show that the tool weight affcets the spindle temperature variation in a experimental spindle. 2) Radial run out and axial displacement was measured according to the rise of the spindle temperature and the performance of dynamic cutting accuracy was affected by the tool weight variation. 3) Axial displacement is 1.3 times larger than the radial run out in a experimental spindle conditions. 4) Axial displacement is continuously elongated when the tool weight is repeatly exchanged since the spindle themal deformaion, however, when the same tool weight is used. the displacement is still constant.

  • This paper introduces a partial edge detection technique, that improves the processing time of an automatic change tracking system for multi-temporal images. In the conventional change tracking systems for multi-temporal images, the edge detection is performed over the whole image. In the proposed method, however, the necessary portions for the edge detection is selected first and the edge detection is performed over the selected parts only. As a consequence, the improvement in the processing time could be achieved. The proposed change tracking system is expected to be utilized as a very efficient tool to configure changes in large data set such as remotely sensed satellite imagery or geophysical time laps images.
