동해산 게류에 대하여 (On the Crabs in the Eastern Sea of Korea)

  • This is a report on 40 species of the crabs which were collected during the period from July, 1958 to October , 1959 in the estern sea of Korea (East Sea) belonging to Kyungsang-pukto, apart of Kangwondo and Kyungsang -namdo. Among these, 17 915 genera, 8 families) are unrecorded species in the eastern sea and Platymaja wyville-thomsoni MIERS is an unrecorded species in Korea. Korea (Kuryongpo)seems to be the northern limit of the distribution of this species up to the present. 18 hitherto unreported species are added to the 39 known species, the total in the eastern sea being 57 species involved in 41 genera and 13 families, which show 44.5% of presently known 128 species of crabs in Korea.

Phonetic Aspects of English Stress Produced by South Kyungsang Korean Speakers

  • A purpose of this study is to investigate the acoustic characteristics of English stress produced by the two groups of South Kyungsang (henceforth, SK) Korean speakers: high-proficiency and low-proficiency with reference to English native speakers. Another purpose is to compare results from the high- and low-proficiency SK Korean subjects with those of the native speakers, and to provide an analytical account of how approximate the high-proficiency SK Korean subjects' production is to the native speakers' and how different the low-proficiency SK Korean subjects' is from the native speakers'. Results indicated that the native speakers' main strategy used in producing stressed syllables was duration while the high-proficiency SK Korean subjects' was predominantly pitch-oriented. The low-proficiency SK Korean subjects' pitch patterns showed regularity, emphasizing the penultimate syllable with pitch. In comparing duration among the three groups, both groups of the SK Korean subjects became more even in their duration values for each syllable as the structure of the word or the sentence became more complex.

  • The objective of this study is to analyze and to shed light on the evolutions of factors with the wall structure and their relations with production mechanisms of urban form. this study based on followings; literature review of existing study and setting up of examination factors, analytical review of each wall's current situation and problems, analytical review of each wall's urban regeneration. The significance of this study is in that the study use a contemporary map showing the actual spatial arrangement in the period, instead of using the historical map. We understood the planning methods to interpret the site's historical urban trace and memory. Based on the results, this study presented the solution for the placeless and potential energy.

경상분지에서의 Coda파의 감쇠특성 (Characteristics of Coda Wave Attenuation in the Kyungsang Basin)

  • In order to know the characteristics of attenuation of coda wave in the Kyungsang Sedimentary Basin quality factor for coda wave or coda Q is estimated from the earthquake data recorded in the KIGAM microearthquake network. The single scattering model for coda wave generation is adopted in estimating coda Q. Coda Q appears to be largely dependent on the normalized time(a) which is the ratio of elapsed time to S-wave travel time. In the present study coda Q(Qc) is estimated in the range of a=1.5-3.Q and expressed in terms of frequency(f). The deduced function in the range of 1 to 25 Hz is Qc=36.8283 f1.15095 to represent the strong dependence of coda Q on frequency. It is found that the difference of Qc between U-D N-S and E-W components is negligible, This face supports the back-scattering theory that coda were originates from scattered waves by randomly distributed heterogeneities in the crust. On the other hand it is observed that the coda Q increases with depth.

경상도지방 전통 등겨장의 제법조사와 성분에 관한 연구 (Brewing Method and Composition of Traditional Dungge-Jang in Kyungsang-Do Area)

  • 경상도지방의 전통적인 등겨장제법을 조사하고 10종의 시료를 채취하여 성분분석 및 관능시험으로 품질을 평가하였다. 등겨장의 맛을 좋게 하기 위하여 부원료는 적당량의 콩 등을 첨가하여 주로 자연 숙성방법으로 등겨장을 제조하고 있다. 전통 등겨장의 성분 중 아미노태질소 함량은 낮았으며 수용성 및 염용해성 단백질의 아미노산 조성은 다같이 glutamic acid, aspartic acid 및 proline의 함량이 많았다. 등겨장의 당의 함량은 대체로 높았으며 유리당 중 glucose의 함량이 $2.16{\sim}4.02\;mg/ml$로써 가창 많았고 maltose, matotriose 순이었다. 산성 protease의 활성은 $0.13{\sim}1.36\;unit/ml$였으며 전분액화력은 $10.18{\sim}15.19\;D^{40o}_{30}$으로서 등겨장의 감미를 크게 증가시켰다. 관능시험의 결과 선정된 3종류의 우량 등겨장은 매운맛과 단맛, 산미가 잘 조화된 전통식품으로 향기는 약간의 메주향에다 매운맛이 잘 조화된 향취를 나타내었다.

인터넷 영양교육에 참여한 전국 대학생의 식품섭취 및 다양성에 관한 평가 (Regional Differences in Food Intake and Diversity among Korean College Students of a Nutrition Education Course through the Internet)

  • The purpose of this study was to evaluate the diversity of food intake among Korean college students of a nutrition education course through the internet. Subjects were 796 nation-wide college students (male 278, female 518). A dietary survey collected from 3 day-recalls were analyzed by the Computer Aided Nutritional Analysis Program. Diet variety was assessed by DDS (dietary diversity score), MBS (meal balance score), and DVS (dietary variety score). The foods consumed in largest amounts were rice (54.42 g), citrus fruit (36.41 g) and milk (30.91 g). The foods consumed most frequently were rice (65.28%), garlic (63.65%) and salt (63.64%). The average food intake was 1325.3 g (male 1420.6 g, female 1274.1 g), with vegetable and animal food comprising 78.5% and 21.5% of total food intake, respectively. The consumption of the major five food groups comprised DDS, and 66.0% (male 56.1%, female 71.3%) of subjects had a DDS of 5 and 27.4% (male 33.5%, female 24.1%) of subjects had a DDS of 4..Groups most frequently missed were dairy products (56.5%) and fruits (41.6%). The average of MBS were 10.88 (11.61 in Seoul, 11.03 in Kyungsang, 10.88 in Chungcheong, 10.85 in Incheon, 10.57 in Kyunggi) in male and 11.08 (11.47 in Kyungsang, 11.20 in Seoul, 11.18 in Kyunggi, 10.82 in Chungcheong, 10.64 in Incheon) in female. Male students in Seoul (18.2) and female students in Kyungsang (18.6) had the greater number of consumed food items. Subjects who had higher DDS had significantly higher DVS (p < 0.001). Based on these results, the food intake of the subjects regarded as not adequate, especially with regards to the dairy and fruit groups. Considering their nutritional characteristics, dietary guidelines as well as education should be made to improve the food intake and include various foods in their diet.

현장 측정을 통한 경상분지의 천부 초기응력장 특성에 관한 연구 (Characteristics of the Regional Rock Stress Field at Shallow Depth in the Kyungsang Basin with In-situ Rock Stress Measurement)

  • 특수한 지질조건을 제외하면 이론적이거나 물리적인 방법으로 특정지역의 정확한 암반 초기응력 상태를 예측하기는 거의 불가능하다. 이는 토목공학이나 광업개발과 관련된 문제에 있어 암반 응력에 대한 신뢰성 있는 정보를 얻는 유일한 방법은 현장 측정에 위해서만 가능함을 의미한다. 1990년대 이후 국내 경상분지 영역 내암반 구조물 설계단계에서 정량적인 정보를 획득하기 위해 많은 현장 초기응력 측정이 수행되어 오고 있다. 본 논문의 연구지역은 경상분지의 지표로부터 심도 300 m 미만 지하공간으로 위치적으로 동쪽의 부산에서 서쪽으로는 여수를 포함하는 광범위한 지역을 포함한다. 현장 초기응력 측정은 대부분 지표 시험공을 이용하여 심도 $14m{\sim}300m$ 영역에서 수압파쇄법에 의해 총 270회 시행되었다. 본 논문에서는 현장 측정 자료를 바탕으로 전체 연구지역에 현재 형성되어 있는 초기응력 상태, 화강암류와 안산암류 지역에서의 초기응력 분포 특성 차이에 대해 논의하고자 한다. 그리고 마지막으로 부산 일원과 양산 단층대 지역 내 수평응력 방향성의 국부적 분포 양상에 대해 소개하도록 하겠다.
