기존에 제안된 도파관 스위치의 경우, 도파관의 E-plane에 PBG 기판을 내장하게 되는데, 이 경우 PBG 기판의 저항값을 조절해주는 MEMS 스위치의 바이어스 라인에 대한 문제점이 발생한다 본 논문에서는 PBG 기판을 도파관의 H-plane에 놓음으로써 바이어스 라인을 RF로부터 쉽게 분리하고, 또한 단일 공진 주파수를 갖는 PBG의 경우에 제한된 기판의 길이로 인하여 bandwidth가 좁아지는 문제점을 서로 다른 공진 주파수를 갖는 PBG 기판의 연결을 통해서 bandwidth를 약 80%이상 증가시킬 수 있음을 보였다.

본 논문에서는 neural network을 이용한 이미지 장르(유형) 분류 시스템을 소개한다. 이 논문에서 제안된 시스템은 이미지를 예술(art), 사진(photo), 만화(cartoon) 이미지라는 세 가지 장르(유형) 중 하나로 분류한다. 이미지의 특성은 표준 MPEG-7 visual descriptor를 사용하여 추출된 후, neural networks를 이용하여 학습된다. 시뮬레이션 결과는 제안된 시스템이 80% 이상의 이미지들을 정확한 장르(유형)로 분류하는 것을 보여준다.

Negative myoclonus (NM) is a jerky, shock-like involuntary movement caused by a sudden, brief interruption of muscle contraction. An 80-year-old man presented with multifocal NM and confusion. Two days before the onset of NM, he commenced the intake of pregabalin at a dose of 150 mg/day for neuropathic pain. His NM resolved completely and mental status improved gradually after the administration of lorazepam intravenously and the discontinuation of pregabalin. Our study suggests that pregabalin can cause NM even in patients without a history of seizures.

Glass와 실리콘 웨이퍼(p-type(100), $ ho$=6~8$\Omega$-cm)를 기판으로 하여 NiFe/glass , NiFe/Si, NiFe/Al/Si, NiFe/Ti/Si 의 박막을 제작하였다. 하지층으로 사용한 알루미늄과 티타늄은 RF 스퍼터링으로 증착하였으며 퍼럼로이(NiFe) 필름은 60, 80, 90wt%Ni로 조성을 변화시켜 증착하였다. 박막의 포화자화(Ms), 보자력(Hc), 각형비(F)는 sweep time을 1.7분으로 하여 시료 토크마그네토 메터로 측정하였다. 보자력에 영향을 주는 표면조도는 전자주사현미경(SEM)과 표면조도 측정기로써 알아보았다. 실험결과 80wt% Ni 의 퍼멀로이에서 자장 중 열처리(35 Oe,$ 350^{\circ}C$) 후 약 1의 각형비를 나타내었으며 열처리 후 보자력이 떨어짐을 보였다. 자기이방성은 알루미늄을 하지층으로 한 퍼멀로이 박막에서 가장 좋은 값(Ku=-9.60 $\times$106 emu/㎤)을 나타내었다.

We report a switchable RGB color filters for Lab on a chip. Ink color filter devices are fabricated by PDMS patterning process. The optical transmission in the ultra-violet and visible wavelengths of color filters have been investigated. The ink color filters are characterised by the slope and shape of the spectrum. The transmission of red/yellow filter consists of curves with a sharp cut-off spectrum at 600 and 500 nm. The blue output of the ink filter has 80% peak transmission and weak red-leak, while the green ink filter has 48% peak transmission and red-leak.

We compared the general composition of Mozzarella cheese manufactured by the traditional method and by an ultrafiltration technique. The comparison of the general components between raw milk and the retentate of ultrafiltration (CF 2 and CF 3) demonstrated the following. The fat, protein, and non-fat solid contents of the retentate were higher than those of raw milk, but the lactose content was lower. The effect of 3 factors-fat content (0.5% and 3%), bacterial populations (30,000 CFU/mL and 100,000 CFU/mL), and ratio of added starter and rennet (50, 65, or 80)-on Mozzarella cheese made by the traditional method and made using the retentate of ultrafiltration (CF 2 and CF 3) were compared. Total solids (TS), fat, lactose, total nitrogen (TN), water soluble nitrogen (WSN), non-protein nitrogen (NPN), and salt (NaCl) were affected by fat content, bacterial population, and the ratio of starter and rennet added, but the ash content was not affected. During storage at $4^{\circ}C$ over a period of 3 months, the TS, WSN, NPN, and NaCl contents increased significantly (p<0.05), but fat, lactose, and TN contents decreased significantly (p<0.05), while ash contents remained constant. In whey, the protein, lactose, and solids not fat contents were higher in cheese made from ultrafiltration retentate than in traditional Mozzarella cheese. These results indicate that ultrafiltration can be applied to producing several Mozzarella-type cheeses in order to meet consumer needs.

A PLDRO(Phase Locked Dielectric Resonator Oscillator) in Ku-band(10.95-11.70GHz) is designed with the concept of the feedback property of PLL(Phase Locked Loop). A series feedback type DRO is developed, and VCDRO(Voltage Controlled Dielectric Resonator Oscillator) using a varactor diode as a voltage-variable capacitor is implemented to tune oscillating frequency electrically. Then, PLDRO is designed by using a SPD(Sampling Phase Detector). This PLDRO is phase-locked voltage controlled DRO to reference source(VHF band) by SPD at 10.00 GHz for European FSS(Fixed Satellite Service). The PLDRO generates output power greater than 10dBm at 10.00 GHz and has phase noise of -80 dBc/Hz at 10 KHz offset from carrier. This PLDRO achieves much better frequency stability than conventional VCDRO.

The purpose of the study is to evaluate the community rehabilitation program of the two Public Health Center. Data were collected from the 138 clients who received rehabilitation services from visiting public health nurses. Data were analysed by SAS computer program. The result were as follows. 1. The clients have been average 7years disabled state until public health nurse visit them. 78.3% of them can't advance rehabilitation process because of insufficient family or social support. 2. The clients' burden due to their family's help was average 80.0 and that due to economic distresst was average 76.0. That factors were same that interfere rehabilitation process. 3. The clients needed exercise and modality therapy(78.2), economic support(76.0) and rehablitation advices (64.0). The needs of welfare benefit, medical service and social participation were 68.0, 61.5 and 54.5. 4. The pulblic health nurse visited the clients 2.3 time every month. And they have served emotional support (95.7%, exercise therapy (94.9%), family education(82.6%) and blood pressure management (71.7%), One client have received average 60% of the medical rehabilitation services and 27% of the refer services. 5. The rehabilitation effects of clients' attitude, knowledge and practice were 73.3, 81.0 and 68.7. The physical rehabilitation effect was 70.0. After receving rehabilitation services, the clients' preforrence to pulblic health center was 82.0. 6. The clients hopped that public health nurse visit them earlier (80.0). On the basis of this results, the following suggestions are proposed. 1. The pulblic health center is important institution in community rehabilition program, and every pulblic health center must participate in this program. 2. Various strateges have to be tryed and analysed to improve the visiting nurses' rehabilitation services. 3. For successful community rehabilitation, social welfare rehabilitation program must be developed and correlated with that of the pulblic helth center.

Although active systemic anaphylaxis and passive cutaneous anaphylaxis have been empolyed to study anaphylactic hypersensitivity, it is difficult and time-consuming to induce these reactions in experimental animals. In recent, Jun et al have found a simple method to induced anaphylactic hypersensitivity such as anaphylactic shock(AS) and cutaneous reaction(CR) using compound48/80. Cortex mori (Morus alba L.), the root bark of mulberry tree has been used as an antiphlogistic, diuretic, and expectorant in herbal medicine. The purpose of this study was to determine whether the methanol extract of Cortex mori could inhibit the compound 48/80-induced AS and CR. To induce AS, various doses of compound 48/80 (5, 7.5, 10, 15$\mu\textrm{g}$/gm B.W.) were injected intraperitoneally (i.p.) into ICR mice. The animals were pretreated by three injection(i.p.) of Cortex mori before compound 48/80 administration. Peripheral blood was collected from the right ventricle to estimate the level of serum histamine at 15 minutes after the injctin(i.p.) of various concentration of compound48/80. Mortility rate, mean death time and mesenteric mast cell degranulation rate were evaluated over a 72 hour period. To estimate the effect of Cortex mori on compound 48/80-induced cutaneous reaction, various doses of compound 48/80 with or without Cortex mori were injected intradermally(i.d.) into the shaved flank of Sprague-Dawley rats, and the blue cutaneous patchs induced by Evans'blue injection at the compound 48/80 alone and Cortex mori plus compound 48/80 injection sites were observed. As a Parameter of these reactions, the levels of histamine in the supernatant, calcium uptake and intracellular CAMP of RPMC were measured. supernatant, 1)compound 48/80-induced mortility rate, mean death time, mesenteric mast cell degranulation rate, and serum histamine level in ICR mice were significantly inhibited by pretreatment of Cortex mori, 2) cutaneous reaction inducd by compound48/80 was well developed in Sprague-Dawley rat, but Cortex mori inhibited the compound 48/80-induced blue patch formation remarkably, 3) the compound 48/80-induced degranulation, histamine release and calcium uptake of RPMC pretreated with Cortex mori were significantly inhibited, compared to those of control without Cortex mori pretreatment, and 4)the level of cAMP of RPMC was reduced bythe increased concentration of compound 48/80, pretreatment of Cortex mori not only inhibited the compound 48/80-induced reduction of CAMP but also significantly increased the level of cAMP naturally, from the above results, it is suggested that Cortex mori has an some substances with an ability to inhibits the compound 48/80-induced AS,CR, and mast cell activation.
