Motorcycle Inspection Standards Development II (이륜자동차 검사기준 개발 II)

  • This paper presents the motorcycle inspection standards of electrical system, frame & body, lights and speedometers. 187 real-world motorcycles are visually and mechanically inspected according to the developed inspection standards. The non-compliance rate of inspection standards of the lights is 23.7% and main causes are damage, tinting, painting and coloration of head-lamp, number plate lamp, front-rear position lights, stop lamp and direction indicators of motorcycles. Also, 28.4% of motorcycles are dropped from the luminous intensity inspection standard. Motorcycle electrical system cannot be visually inspected. The motorcycle inspections standards are improved reflecting 187 cases of real-world motorcycle inspection results.

  • For a good design, it is important to understand consumers and trend of textile and fashion design. Previous researches on textile pattern design with CAD have been done. They have studied on Korean traditional floral motives/hand painting or some geometric patterns. Few studies have been done on conversational design. Therefore the purpose of study was to observe types of textile pattern design for the recent fiver years and determine fabric pattern trends, especially on the conversational motifs. The types of patterns were analysed with professional panels from the 2005~2009 collection sources, using SPSS program. This study was also develop textile patterns creating using CAD. We conducted design process on motif creating, repeat, and mapping jobs, using textile special design program Prima vision and Photoshop CS3.

  • Typically, robot system configured by articulated robot manipulator with 1 DOF transfer unit is being applied in automotive manufacturing automation process. Especially, 1 DOF transfer unit is necessary to extend workspace of robot manipulator. In this configuration, because transfer unit works only one direction, robot manipulator only works in one side in case of car body painting or sealing automation process. it is necessary three robot manipulator system at least. In this paper, in order to robot manipulator works effectively in car body sealing automation application, we are suggested omni-directional manipulator system and conducted studying on redundancy resolution method to solve manipulability-optimal problem.

  • 3D 인터렉티브 텍스쳐 페인팅은 3차원 공간상에서 3D 모델 데이터의 표면에 직접 브러쉬를 이용하여 페인팅하는 것을 말한다. 3D 인터렉티브 텍스쳐 페인팅을 구현하기 위해서는 매개변수화와 브러쉬 드로잉이 중요하다. 본 논문에서는 3D 공간상에서 평균값좌표를 이용하여 3D 모델의 표면 메쉬상에 텍스쳐 페인팅을 수행하는 효과적인 방법을 제안한다. 기존 연구가 가지고 있는 문제점은 반복적인 매개변수화의 과정과 그로 인한 해상도의 큰 변화이다. 이러한 반복적인 매개변수화 과정을 피하기 위하여 주어진 메쉬에 한 번의 전역적 매개변수화를 적용시키고, 3차원상의 메쉬에 직접적으로 페인팅 할 수 있는 인터페이스를 제공하였다. 결과적으로 2차원으로의 텍스쳐 수정 과정 및 랜더링 과정을 반복적으로 적용할 필요가 얼게 되어 3차원 모델러에게는 매우 효율적인 방법을 제공할 수 있다.

  • We have studied on the main causes of pressure drop in the paint hose under the spraying with airless spray pump and suggest calculation method for selecting the optimum pressure drop during the spraying. Among many factors contributing the pressure drop during the airless spraying procedure of paint, some of the key factors and the correct method for checking pressure loss between airless pump and spray gun are addressed. We have developed pressure loss calculation method which depending on hose length and diameter, viscosity and flow rate in the painting hose during the spraying. also we have developed calculation equation for the expected spray tip flow rate which depending on pressure and specific gravity and tip size.

  • For coping with various ship types easily, welding automation using CAD/CAM is demanded and and developed. In this paper we propose a dedicated CAM system which generates MACRO files to control robot manipulators. The paper contains CAD interface, virtual simulation, macro generation and job schedulling. At first, it defines and extracts weldline from CAD data, and generates proper MACRO programs. And it obtains optimum job schedules. This system removes the manual work, and consequently reduces the overall lead time. And it reduces costs and time for developing robot welding programs. This can be expanded to virtual factory simulation technology. Moreover, it is possible to apply this system for automation of Cutting and Painting

  • A lot of pieces of iron plate are used to build a ship. The states of cutting surface of iron are however bended or ununiformly cuttled by cutting machine. These may cause bad Quality of painting, and shorter lifetime of iron by rust. In this paper, a new approach of grinding force control method which teaching of robot is not required is proposed to avoid long preparation time of robot and to improve the productivity. The way used in this paper is just like a blind man works through the road with stick only.

  • 이미 외국에서는 출력소(Sevice Bureau)가 잘 발달되어 있어 소규모의 투자로 인화지나 필름출력을 쉽게 얻을 수 있게 되어 있다. End User와 출력소간의 WAN이 활발히 운용되고 있으며 우리나라에서도 ELEX BBS가 개설됨으로서 Macintosh출력소와 End User간의 화일 전송이 가능하게 되어 또 한 걸음의의 진보를 보게 되었다. 마지막으로 한글화에 대한 문제를 언급하기 위해 DTP의 일반적 구성요소를 다음과 같이 놓고 보자. - Writing and editing - Text Scanning - Image Scanning - Image Processing - Painting and Drawing -Typography - Page Prepress -Color Prepress - Printing - Presentations - Workgroup Publishing 이중에서 System자체의 처리 능력으로 보면 Writing and Editing은 한글 문제가 거의 해결되었다고 볼 수 있고 Image 및 Color의 관계 처리는 실용화 단계에 있으며 Printing도 Postscript가 동양권을 위한 2byte postscript이 발표되어 이미 실용화 해서 쓰고 있다. 2byte용의 Postscript서체는 동양권에서도 우리나라에 가장 많이 서체가 개발되어 있다. 개발되어 있는 서체는 계속 다듬어지고 있으므로 곧 사용자는 질 좋고 다양한 서체를 사용할 수 있을 것이다.

High sensitivity ethanol gas sensors (고감도 에탄올 가스 센서)

  • Highly sensitive thick film ethanol gas sensors based on a nanocrystalline $In_{2}O_{3}$ were fabricated by painting method on alumina substrates. The crystal structure of the $In_{2}O_{3}$ powder was characterised by XRD analysis. The microstructure of the films were characterised using FE-SEM. The experimental results of the ethanol gas sensing characteristics indicated that the undoped $In_{2}O_{3}$ thick film has a high sensitivity. The sensitivity of the film heat treated at $400^{\circ}C$ for 2 hrs. was as high as 32.73 at an operating temperature of $200^{\circ}C$ to 1000 ppm ethanol gas in air.

  • The effects of additives on gas sensing properties of $In_2O_3$ ethanol gas sensor were investigated. Gas sensors were fabricated by the painting method. The $In_2O_3-La_2O_3-Pt$ sensor heat treated $400^{\circ}C$ displayed fast response and recovery behavior with a maximum sensitivity to ethanol gas in air at an operating temperature of $300^{\circ}C$.
