Objectives : The purpose of this study is to report the effect of Hwangryuhaedok-tang gagambang on seborrheic dermatitis. Methods : The clinical study was done on 3 cases of seborrheic dermatitis patients with symptoms of flare, scales, pricking and itching. An author prescribed Hwangryuhaedok-tang gagambang for these patients and checked VAS(Visual Analogue Scale) scores depending on the patient's evaluation. Photographies were taken before and after the treatment. Results : VAS scores of all patients decreased from 10 to 1,2. Judging by photographies, patients noticeably improved in facial skin. As a result of examining VAS scores and photographies, Hwangryuhaedok-tang gagambang was effective on seborrheic dermatitis. Conclusions : From these results, Hwangryuhaedok-tang gagambang may be considered as a basic prescription for seborrheic dermatitis. And an author consider that continuous clinical study will be needed in Korean medical dermatology.

Objectives : The purpose of this study is to report the effect of the Korean medical treatment for periungual warts. Methods : From December 2016 to March 2019, all patients were treated by herbal medicine, acupuncture, sweet bee venom acupuncture and moxibustion. Photographs of lesions were used to evaluate the changes in symptoms. Results : After Korean medical treatment, the periungual warts of all patients were disappeared remarkably and there were no adverse effects such as nail dystropy, nail loss and no recurrence at all. Conclusions : This study shows that Korean Medicine such as herbal medicine, acupuncture and moxibustion was effective to treat periungual warts.

Objectives : The purpose of this study was to investigate the clinical efficacy of treatment of vitiligo patients in Korean Medicine Treatment. Methods : This case study was done on four vitiligo patients who had visited Korean Medicine Clinic. All the patients are treated with herbal medication and acupuncture treatment. Photographs were used to evaluate the symptom change. Results : Four vitiligo patients who were treated by Korean Medicine Treatment (herbal medication and acupuncture) showed efficient clinical results. Conclusion : Most symptoms of patients were improved in this study. Herbal medication and acupuncture treatment can be effective in patients who were diagnosed as Vitiligo.

Objectives : The purpose of this study is to report the effect of Psoraleae Semen extract and korean medical treatments on 3 psoriasis patients. Methods : 200g of Psoraleae Semen was dipped in $1000m{\ell}$ of alcohol for 7days. The residue was filtered to use the solution. Extract was applied to psoriasis and UVB rays were irradiated for 10 minutes or more. PASI(psoriasis area and severity) score was used to check the prognosis of 3 psoriasis patients. Results : All three cases achieved PASI 50 within 4 weeks and two of 3 cases reached PASI 75 within 4 weeks. Conclusions : Psoraleae Semen extract and korean medical treatments is effective method for treating Psoriasis. It can shorten the duration of treatment of Psoriasis.

Purpose : To observe effects of TKM (Traditional Korean Medicine) treatment for 2 patients who had verruca plana after having laser epilation of leg hair. Methods : We did retrospective chart review for 2 verucca plana patients who had been treated by TKM. TKM treatment included herbal treatment, herbal acupuncture and herbal ointment. Results : After TKM treatment, the patients' verucca plana remarkably disappeared and there was no recurrence. Conclusion : This study suggest that TKM may be an effective treatment for verucca plana.

Objectives : To get to know the effects of placental extract and laser theraphy for Temporomandibular Joint Disorder, we have tried a injection of placental extract and laser theraphy into 聽宮(SI19), 聽會(GB02) for patient with Temporomandibular Joint Disorder. Methods : In this case clinical assessment of temporomandibular joint dysfunction is assessed by the VAS score and the Korean Version of Research Diagnostic Criteria for Temporomandibular Disorders(RDC/TMD). Results : The VAS score was significantly decreased after Placental extract herbal acupuncture and laser theraphy Conclusion : Placental extract herbal acupuncture and laser theraphy effectively resolved pain for Temporomandibular Disorders.

Objectives : The objective of this study was to report the efficacy of the Crucial Incision Acupuncture Therapy(CIAT) for removing melanocytic nevi. Methods : CIAT is penetration acupuncture to remove a lesion by sticking needles like cross-shape. We used the CIAT for treating one patient with melanocytic nevi, and then we investigated efficacy and side effect for about 5 months. Results : In 16 melanocytic nevuses treated with CIAT, one of the nevuses recurred after about 3 months. And hyperpigmentation lasted for about 2-5 months was caused after the CIAT. Conclusions : In Korean medicine, the CIAT might be used for treating melanocytic nevi. But additional studies might be needed for improvement of treatment effect.

Objectives : The purpose of this study is to report the effect of Fermented Yungyo Keumeunhwa Extract External treatment Liquid on Seborrheic Dermatitis. Methods : Four Seborrheic Dermatitis patients on the face of each Diluted Yungyo Keumeunhwa Extract External treatment Liquid patch was 10 minutes. Results : The Fermented Yungyo Keumeunhwa Extract External treatment Liquid was effective on alleviation of symptoms like flare, scale, uredo and pricking on Seborrheic Dermatitis. Conclusions : The result indicate that Fermented Yungyo Keumeunhwa Extract External treatment Liquid has an available effect on Seborrheic Dermatitis, and authors consider that the additional clinical studies are needed to verify the effectiveness of monotherapy.

Objectives : The purpose of this study is to report the clinical effect of Hwaseup-tang for nummular eczema patients. Methods : This study was conducted with five nummular eczema patients who have visited Ryoum Korean Medicine Clinic. They were treated with Hwaseup-tang and acupuncture. In order to evaluate the results of these treatments, we observed the itching condition of the patients and took photographs of the lesions. Results : After Hwaseup-tang medicine treatment, the nummular eczema lesions of five patients were remarkably disappeared and their itching condition was also improved rapidly. Conclusions : These five cases indicate that Hwaseup-tang may be effective in the treating of nummular eczema patient, although the number of cases was limited to five.

Objectives : The aim of this study is to report the effect of long-term acupuncture on a amblyopia derived from astigmatism. Methods : A 39-month-old-female child presented with decreased visual acuity with simple astigmatism and amblyopia in the left eye. She took long-term acupuncture treatment once or twice a week for almost four years. And the autorefractor follow-up were conducted per every 6 months. Results : At the initial visit, naked eye visual acuity was 0.1/0.7(OD/OS), Sph. +0.00D, Cyl. -2.25D, AXIS 148° in the right eye, and Sph. +0.00D, Cyl. -0.25D, AXIS 49° in the left eye. After acupuncture treatment for about 4 years without correctional glasses, the visual acuity of the right eye was 1.0, the right eye had Sph. +0.00D, Cyl -0.50D, AXIS 146°, and the left eye had Sph. -0.25D, Cyl -0.50D, AXIS 154°. The visual acuity was maintained until 1 year follow up as 0.9/1.0(OD/OS). Conclusions : This study shows the possibility of using acupuncture treatment for amblyopia derived from astigmatism.
