김치 지리적표시제 도입에 대한 주요 수출시장 소비자 의향 및 효과 분석 (Analysis of the Consumer's Intentions and Effects on the Introduction of Kimchi into a Geographical Indication System in Major Export Markets)

  • Although Kimchi is a Korean traditional food, domestic consumption has been decreasing steadily and the trade inversion phenomenon has reached a serious level due to the surge of Chinese Kimchi imports. Moreover, cases where foreign Kimchi is transformed illegally into Korean Kimchi are frequent, which impedes the expansion of Korean Kimchi exports. To sustain the Korean Kimchi industry in a situation where the domestic and overseas conditions are deteriorating, it is necessary to positively review the introduction of Kimchi into a geographical indication (GI) system. This study examined the intention of foreign consumers to purchase Korean Kimchi with GI and analyzed the impact on the trade balance. Approximately 42.8% of 500 Japanese consumers answered that they would purchase Korean Kimchi with GI and they were willing to pay 7.8% more than the present price. Approximately 78.7% of 300 Taiwanese consumers replied that they purchase it and would pay 25.1% more. In addition, Japanese and Taiwanese consumers reported that they expected to increase their Korean Kimchi purchases by 21.9 and 22.4%, respectively. Based on the survey results, the effects of the trade balance were measured using the methodology of a preliminary impact assessment using the KREI-KASMO model. The trade balance of Kimchi is expected to improve slightly at an annual average of 11.718.6 million US$ to as much as 27.7~35.8 million US$.

  • 당귀는 우리나라를 포함하여 중국과 일본 등 아시아국가에서 유용하게 이용되는 한약재이다. 그러나 국가마다 그 기원을 달리하기 때문에 혼 오용이 심하고 국제시장에서 혼란을 불러일으킬 소지가 다분하다. 따라서 오래전부터 형태학적, 세포유전학적 분석과 지표성분을 이용한 화학적 판별 마커의 개발에 관한 연구가 많이 진행되어 왔다. 또한 최근에는 다양한 재배환경과 수확 후 가공 및 처리방법에도 비교적 안전한 유전자 단편의 염기서열 비교분석을 통한 분자생물학적 기술을 적용한 판별기술의 개발에 관한 연구결과 들이 발표되고 있다. 그러나 아직까지 이들 기술의 실용화를 통한 현장 적용에는 한계가 있으며 보다 많은 후속연구가 수행되어야 한다. 이에 본 논문에서는 현재까지의 연구결과를 바탕으로 얻어진 문제점을 논하고 향후 필요한 추가 연구 과제들에 관하여 기술하였다.

But now a day, the Aquacultural Industry has been developed to unique industry itself, and it could be said the Hoe - korean style Sashimi or Sushi culture of korea can't exist without its aquacultural industry. So it could be said that the Aquacultural industry is not only a part of the fishery industry but also inevitable unique industry. The main objective of this paper is to analysis the present situation for production of Flatfish, distribution of Flatfish, and consumption structure of Flatfish. Especially, the production for aquacultural Flatfish in 2005 has been raised over 38 times against the production in 1990, and it takes the status as the major fish which leads the domestic aquacultural industry compare with others. The distribution of Flatfish can be divided to the domestic and export mainly. In field of its domestic distribution, Flatfish is the major item with Rockfish, and the deal of its over 90% happens in Similarity Fishery Wholesale Markets such as In-chon, Ha-nam, and Bu-san Fishery Wholesale Market not in the common distribution process of the fishery products. At present, the exporting of Flatfish take 13.9% among the whole Aquacultural Industry of korea, and Flatfish mainly export to Japan. Also, through the development of chinese economy, Hoe consumption culture is expanded gradually. And the future of exporting Flatfish is very bright because of developing of the U.S. market. The brief introduction of the consumption style of live fish is as belows. According to the research, generally the most of korean consumers prefer individual item as their food to combination style in korean Hoe consumption culture and the favorite item of korean consumers are Flatfish and Rockfish.

  • 본 연구는 최근 FTA를 체결한 칠레를 비롯하여 신흥 시장으로 성장 가능성이 큰 중남미 시장에 있어서의 한국 상품의 진출 실태를 분석하고 기존에 이루어지고 있는 민간부문, 정부부문의 중남미 무역 관리 실태를 파악하여 문제점을 발견하고 특히 중남미 시장에서의 가장 큰 경쟁국가인 중국과의 비교를 통해 한국 상품이 중남미 시장에서 우위를 지켜나갈 수 있는 방법을 모색하였다. 이를 위해 중남미에서 문화적으로 선도 그룹인 '엘리트 집단'을 적극 활용하여 문화적 친연성을 높여야 할 것이다. 본 연구를 통해 단순히 '거대 시장'으로만 인식 되던 중남미 시장을 한국의 '전략적 시장'으로 접근하여 앞으로 한국 무역의 숙제인 수출 다변화와 점점 중요시 되는 원자재 등 에너지 자원의 안정적인 수입원으로서의 중남미 시장이 역할을 할 것으로 기대된다. 지금까지의 정부의 대 중남미 진출 확대를 위한 중남미 국가들에 대한 기술 협력, 무상 원조 지원 형태에서 벗어나 중남미 복합문화를 접목시킬 수 있는 한류문화의 특성화 작업을 서둘러 장기적인 시장 접근을 위한 특단의 대책이 필요할 것이다. 본 논문은 종합적 통상문화 환경의 수립과 창조적 문화 관계 수립에 의한 통상확대 정책에 대한 방향을 제시하고자 한다.

  • 최근 몇 년 간 한류 방송 콘텐츠는 사드 배치라는 정치적인 갈등 이슈로 발생한 중국의 한한령에 의해 어려움을 겪게 되었다. 이처럼 정치적인 문제로 한류 방송 콘텐츠가 부정적인 영향을 받는 일은 언제든 다시 발생할 수 있기에 한류의 지속적인 발전을 위한 근본적인 대응책을 모색해야 한다. 이에 본 연구는 안정적이고 지속적인 한류 발전 방안을 수립하기 위해 한류 방송 콘텐츠 전문가 심층 인터뷰를 실시하였다. 구체적으로 한류 확산을 위해 국내법과 제도의 문제점과 개선방안, 정부 정책의 개선방안을 점검해보고, 한류 방송 콘텐츠 시장 다변화를 위한 방안도 살펴보았다. 한류 시장 다변화를 위해서는 한류에 관심도가 높은 동남아시아 지역, 한류 블루오션인 서유럽 국가, 여전히 한류의 주요 시장인 일본과 중국의 한류 방송 콘텐츠 확산 방안을 살펴보았다. 본 연구의 결과를 바탕으로 한류 방송 콘텐츠 확산을 위한 정책적인 제언을 하였다.

유라시아 이니셔티브와 환동해권 전략 (Eurasia Initiative and East Sea Rim Maritime Community)

  • In September 2013, President Park Geun-hye announced her controversial "Look North" policy, of which the most salient aspect is the "Eurasia Initiative". This comprises various proposals designed to overcome existing constraints by developing new markets and creating new economic partners in continental areas from which South Korea has been alienated since the end of World War II, and this dovetails nicely with China's One Belt, One Road Initiative. The concepts of the "Silk Road Rail Express (SRX)" and the "East Sea Rim Maritime Community (ESRMC)" have also been discussed. SRX is at present a purely symbolic railroad project intended to encourage individual, cultural, trade and diplomatic exchanges. ESRMC is a model for establishing an ad hoc community to promote regional economic cooperation around the East Sea. President Park's Eurasia Initiative will provide South Korean investment for the Northeast to complement Russian plans, like the "Northern Energy Road" being built by Gazprom, and Chinese plans, like the Chang-Ji-Tu Development Plan for the North Korean port of Rajin. China's trade, as well as its energy and food supplies, pass through the Strait of Malacca and the Indian Ocean, and are thus vulnerable to interdiction by India or the US. China is therefore trying to reduce its exposure geopolitical risk by establishing a network of corridors between the Belt and the Road to provide alternative paths. The "China-Pakistan Economic Corridor" and the "China-Myanmar Economic Corridor" provide such connections, and South Korea hopes that SRX and ESRMC can become part of a "China-South Korea Economic Corridor". This concept could do much to revitalize the underdeveloped northern provinces of China and Russia's Far East, not to mention North Korea. By linking up the Trans-Siberian Railway, the Trans-China Railway, the Trans-Mongolian Railway and the Trans-Korean Railway all these Asian countries will be connected to one another, and ultimately to Europe. An interim connection between China and South Korea using a rail-ferry has also been proposed.

한중 50대와 20대의 소비가치 비교연구를 통한 제품 및 서비스 콘텐츠 개발 방향 탐색 (The Strategic Direction for Product and Service Content Development according to Generation Cohorts and Consumption Values : A comparison of Korea and China)

  • 전세계적인 고령화 현상 및 베이비붐세대의 고령층 진입에 따라 시니어 대상 비즈니스에 대한 관심과 기대가 증가하고 있다. 그럼에도 불구하고 수요층에 대한 이해 부족 및 한정적인 내수시장 규모 등 때문에 국내 관련 산업의 성장이 더디게 이루어지고 있다. 이의 활성화를 위해서는 국내 및 해외 시니어에 대한 이해 제고와 이를 기반으로 한 제품 및 서비스 콘텐츠 전략 제시가 필요하다. 이에 따라 본 연구는 소비가치 개념을 적용하여 연령대(20대 vs. 50대) 및 국가간(한국 vs. 중국) 행동을 탐색함으로써, 각 집단이 중요하게 인식하는 소비가치를 베이비붐세대이자 예비시니어층인 50대 소비자를 중점으로 비교분석하고 이들을 위한 제품 및 서비스 콘텐츠 개발 방향을 제안하였다. 연령 및 국가간 소비가치 비교분석을 위하여 설문을 진행하였으며, 설문문항은 12개 소비가치의 하위차원인 총 40개의 문항으로 구성되었다. 분석결과를 통해 예비시니어층인 50대에 대한 이해 제고가 가능하며 이는 타겟에 적절한 콘텐츠 기획, 개발, 유통, 홍보 등의 전략 구축에 활용될 수 있다.

An Analytical Study on the Importance and Performance of Factors of Online Video Usage: Focusing on the Comparison of Chinese and Korean Platforms

  • Purpose - The field of online videos has seen rapid changes in information and communications technology (ICT) development. Despite active academic research on the use of online platforms, few studies have analyzed the relative importance among the factors determined. In this study, the relative importance of factors found in previous studies was identified for users of online video platforms in China and Korea. Through this, factors that should be considered first in research on online video use were derived. In addition, the quality level of online video platforms currently used in China and Korea was measured and used for analysis. The analysis results can provide information for companies to enter Chinese and Korean markets and also be useful to platform providers aiming to increase usage. Design/methodology - Among the factors of Online Video Usage identified in previous studies, 13 factors to be studied were selected through focus group interviews and hierarchized into 2 layers. For the analytic hierarchy process (AHP), each factor was designed as a pairwise comparison questionnaire. The survey included questions on the quality of online video platform currently in use. Data collection was conducted on 16 platforms in China and 11 platforms in Korea, and the relative importance of factors and user perspectives was compared and analyzed using importance performance analysis (IPA). In the analytical process, platforms were divided into over-the-top (OTT) group and Creator group according to the weight of user-generated content, and data analysis focused on these groups. Findings - As a result of AHP, China and Korea showed both "Fun" and "Interests" factors at the top, while the importance of the Entertainment factor "Vicarious satisfaction" was very different for China and Korea. "Relationship with content creators" was the most important factor in China, but it ranked the lowest in Korea. The IPA showed that the factors with high importance and performance were fun, interests, and easy accessibility for both China and Korea. In contrast, the factors that showed low performance compared to high importance in China were relationship with content creators, relationship with acquaintances/friends, and trustworthiness. As for Korea, vicarious satisfaction was observed; thus, this study has raised the need for academic and industrial interest in vicarious satisfaction. The results show that fun, interests, vicarious satisfaction, and easy accessibility of the platform are factors that must be included in further studies on online videos. Originality/value - Existing studies related to the use of online platforms have derived factors or focused on the influence relationship between factors and performance. However, few studies have analyzed the relative importance among the determined factors. This paper explores factors to be considered in future studies by deriving the relative importance between these factors from the perspective of users in China and Korea.

조선시대 교직물 연구 (A Study on the Blended Tabby of the Chosen Dynasty)

  • 1. The blended tabby whose warp and weft each employs a different kind of thread had been weaved since the era of the Three Kingdoms in this nation and since the period of Han in China. Especially in the 15th century. very finely weaved fabrics as the specialty of Chosun were exported to China. In the 16th century. blended tabby weaved with silk and cotton were often used for clothes as cotton was produced around the nation. And in the 17th century. blended tabby employing high quality Chinese raw silk other than existing ones were weaved. 2. It has been found in literature review that Honpo, one of Chosun's blended tabby. was manufactured mainly in Hamkyung, Cholla and Kyungsang provinces and mostly distributed through markets of Chungchong and Cholla provinces. 3. Out of the total 19 fabric pieces. 13 employed silk thread as the warp and cotton thread as the weft. Compared with the weft. in general. the warp is given more tension when weaved and more friction by spindles, being more likely to be twisted than the weft. In addition to starching, a stronger thread is requested as the warp. It is natural that in the Chosun period, silk thread more stronger than cotton thread was used as the warp to make more durable fabrics. For the weft requiring lots of threads when weaved. cotton thread was mainly used in the 17th century because the thread could be easily obtained at that time. 4. So far the study has made an empirical review of Chosun's blended tabby. especially those of the 15th∼17th century, in terms of their production and distribution. Findings from the study have some limit because they have been made focusing on the 15th∼17th century not the whole period of Chosun. Therefore it is needed to complement those findings through further studies.
