고정폐색 열차제어시스템 속도제어코드 설계에 관한 연구 (Study on the Speed Control Code Design for Fixed Block TCS)

  • 경부고속철도는 운영환경(차량,구배,곡선,시설물 등)에 따라 궤도회로를 여러 개의폐색으로 분할하여 운행하는 고정폐색방식의 열차제어시스템으로 운행된다. 고정폐색방식 열차제어시스템은 선행열차의 점유폐색을 기준으로 진입/진출폐색속도, 목표거리, 감속도와 같은 운행정보를 차상열차제어장치로 전송하여 연속적으로 열차를 제어하는 방식으로, 경부고속철도 열차제어시스템은 열차가 해당 폐색의 진입/진출속도를 초과할 경우, 비상제동명령을 내려 열차의 안전한 운행을 보장한다. 본 논문에서는 안전한 운행을 위해 폐색에 할당되는 속도제어코드의 생성원리를 분석하여, 최고운행속도와 운행차량특성에 따른 속도제어코드를 도출하고, 도출된 속도제어코드에 따른 운행시격 분석을 통해 열차 운행효율을 분석하였다. 이와 같은 연구는 기존 고속철도의 증속 및 신규 고속철도 열차제어시스템 설계 자료로 활용될 수 있다.

고속전철의 형상에 따른 공력특성 연구 (A Study about aerodynamic characteristics of High speed train by fore-body shape design)

  • The aerodynamic charateristics of high speed train can be improved by fore-body design. In this paper, the design a fore-body shape which has optimal aerodynamic charateristics, 6 models of fore-body shape are proposed and the change of aerodynamic characteristics is studied through calculations of flow field around high speed train fro each fore-body shape. The flow field around high speed trains are calculated using Navier-Stokes equation. The variational trends of aerodynamic characteristics are studied from the result of flow calculation around high speed trains for 6 fore-body shapes.

The Effect of Train Motion on Current Collection in High-speed Train

  • The safety performance of the current collection system is evaluated by conducting a test run in which accelerometer and load cell signals are analyzed. It has been found that the current collection performance is strongly influenced by the train speed, with the major frequency components arising from the train traversing the span spacing and the 8.5 Hz component originating from the panhead resonance. The train acceleration is found to have significant influence on the span passing frequency but negligible effect on the resonant response.

  • By storing various train information in running high speed train, we can analyze the cause of train accident efficiently. we have developed the smart and high available control method to control and manage the hardware modules. The hardware modules for event recorder consist CPU, Digital Input and Output, Pulse Input, Communication, Control Panel and Crash Protected Memory. The real time operation system is used to totally control and manage the various hardware modules. The main function of control method is collection of train information, calculation of train speed, interface with other on-board control system, storing and retrieving train information, and communication with Control Panel. In Control Panel, it displays the current train speed and the status of event recorder effectively. Also user interface is provided in Control Panel.

  • In high speed railway, event recorder system stores a train speed and the related data for train operation in real time. Using those information, we can analysis the train operation and the reason of train accident. Analysis software gets the stored data from Event Recorder and shows the status of various signals related with train operation. Using it, also we can analysis the train operation before and after the given time. In this paper we propose the analysis software to show and analysis the operation of high speed train. The method of transferring the stored data from Event Recorder into Analysis Software is proposed. We develop the efficient procedure to store the transferred data into analysis system. Also the effective method to show the store data and to analysis them is studied for finding the cause of train accident.

한국형 고속전철의 제동 특성 해석 (Brake Characteristic Analysis of the Korean High-Speed Train)

  • The brake system of a high-speed train has a crucial role for the safety of human mass transportation. However, it is hard to acquire design parameters of the brake system in the design step of the new high-speed train. In this paper, we build a HILS (Hardware In-the- Loop Simulation) system for the brake system of the Korea High-Speed Train (KHST) that is supposed to run up to 350 km/h, and analyze the characteristics of the brake system of the KHST (composed of 7 cars) via real-time simulations. In the HILS system that is built using a DSP board of dSPACE, the dynamics of the 7 car bodies and several bogies and characteristics of springs and dampers of connection devices between cars are considered separately. Simulation results show that the designed brake system of the KHST is valid and satisfies design specifications.

  • Pressure waves are generated when high speed train runs through the tunnels. These pressure waves not only affect passenger's health, but also can cause fatigue failures on the vehicle structure. The current high speed train should run on the conventional lines. In this study, pressure fluctuations by the high speed trains such as G7 Korea High Speed Train and Korea Train eXpress are measured in the cabin and the carbody surface when they pass through the tunnels. The measured results are analyzed and the related parameters are investigated.

  • Up to now, High speed train was widely used in France, Germany and Japan. In korea, High speed train was introduced from France train model and operation was made in year 2004. With this high speed operation Know-How, HSR-350 train was developed with our own technology. And now KTX-II which was made by our own technology are running in commercial line. High speed rolling stock system acceleration technology is train propulsion system and this is composed with traction motor, Power transfer system and auxiliary power system. This paper, introduced the performance of the traction propulsion system and other equipment that has been installed at the KTX-II will be secured.

한국형 고속열차를 활용한 기존선 전철화 구간에서 고속열차 운행의 적합성 평가 (Test and evaluation on the suitability of operating high speed train in electrified conventional line through test run of HSR-350x)

  • The KTX, which have opened the revenue service in April 2004, is operating in Kyoung-Bu high-speed line and electrified conventional Ho-Nam line, and the more the electrification are enlarged, the more the requirement of operating of high speed train would be increased. In this paper, the result of test run and evaluation on the suitability of operating high speed train in electrified conventional line between Dae-jeon and East Dae-gu was reviewed. Evaluation and analysis was executed in specific categories, such as operation & running performance of the train considering vibration characteristics based on UIC 518, ride comfort and current collection, and response sensitivity of ATS device for signalling from track facility. The result of this running test was evaluated and considered as a good practice for revenue operation of high speed train in electrified conventional line between Dae-jeon and Dae-gu.
