The objectives of the study were to review the agricultural environment education program for nasal change agents, to find out their recognition on agricultural environment and to get sorn implications for better educational program of rural environment. The data were gathered from 177 rural change agents in 11 agricultural technology centers in Kyongi-Do province by mailing survey with questionnaire. The major findings of the study were ; (1) Agricultural environment education for rural extention workers initiated in 1996. From 1999 diversified programs were served for them. (2) Rural change agents perceived that water contamination and degradation of life environment were the most serious problem. (3) Educational program on organic farming should be prepared for farmers and rural changes agents. (4) Concrete educational programs for adequate use of agricultural chemicals should be prepared for farmers. (5) Educational program on agricultural environment policies should be reorganized in terms of the level of target group. (6) RDA should prepare synthetical education program for the conservation of rural eco-system.

Elementary school is the beginning step of personal relationships. However, the recent social phenomenon shows that the communication and intimate fellowship between the children are decreasing. This is due to the increase in Internet uses their parents' excessive protection caused by a low birthrate. School performs an important role in educating and socializing students. Students get intellectual and emotional satisfactions while they spend most of a day there. This research is aimed to understand cultural school environment for students, to help socializing and to improve the necessary cultural environment. Also, this research has guided to the understanding of the expanded socializtion, including improving school cultural environment for students and has presente the direction to improve the necessary cultural environment. The next was obtained from a survey of Elementary school students.

and to provide (case example-focused) guidelines for environment-friendly oriented plans. Key findings of this study are as follows : first, a total of 2,465 development projects covering $173km^2$ were undertaken in Gyeonggi province in last three years. Second, based on the analysis of 16 development projects in four types, about 20 alternative environment-friendly location were suggested. Thirdly, 56 environment-friendly criteria were suggested for the environmental assessment items by setting at least three alternatives. Going forward, if discussion case examples by project type, environment-friendly location criteria by project type, and environment friendly review criteria by assessment item suggested in this study are fully utilized when initiating or approving various development projects in the future, environment-friendliness will be enhanced in development projects.

Environmental matters have more influence on business performances. Consequently, as a way to cope with environmental matters, much more interests in environment-friendly management have increased recently. First-rated hotels and food-service restaurants have been concentrating on gaining ISO 14001 EMS(Environment Management System), which is regarded as objective and international, to solve and prevent environmental matters. However, there are some internal and external problems emerged in the food-service industry and first-rated hotels. Therfore, covering the examples of ESH(Environment Safety Health) management which was developed by H group and based on ISO 14001 EMS, this study aims to observe merits of ISO 14001 EMS as a model that can develop an environment management system, and to consider an improvement plan for better understanding of licensed cooks in restaurants.

The optimal design method of indoor thermal environment using CFD coupled simulation and genetic algorithms (GA) is developed in this study. CFD could analyze the thermal environment considering the distribution of temperature, velocity, etc. in a room. Therefore, It would be appropriate to use CFD for the optimal design method considering their distribution. In this paper, the optimal design means the most appropriate boundary conditions of the room among the conditions where the design target of indoor therm environment is achieved. Two step optimal indoor thermal environment design method is proposed. It includes the GA for searching the optimal indoor thermal environment design. To examine the performance of this method, the optimal design of hybrid ventilation system, which uses the natural cross ventilation and the radiation-cooling panel is conducted. The optimal design which satisfies the design target (thermal comfort, minimum cooling load, minimum vertical temperature difference) is found using two step optimal design method.

In this paper, we propose to present a model of cloud security that has emerged as the biggest topic of cloud computing, replacing the traditional IT environment. While cloud computing is an extension of existing IT technology, security issues and threats can be applied to traditional security technologies. However, the biggest difference between a typical computing environment and a cloud computing environment is a virtualized environment with a hypervisor. Currently, there are many weaknesses in the virtualized environment, and there are few related security products. In order for a cloud computing environment to function as a reliable IT environment, we expect more research on hypervisor-based security technologies, and we expect to secure safer cloud services through a secure model over the next generation of new-based networks.

The office environment of the building has been significantly changed and the office automation(OA) for productivity improvement and efficiency has proceeded. According to thee trends, the concept of office environment was transferred from conventional \"working space\" to \"living space\" or \"creative space\". Thus, occupants in office building have demanded more comfortable and advanced task environment. The objective of this paper is to evaluate the indoor environment of working space with personal air conditioning system using the measurements of environmental comfort parameters and the questionnaire survey of occupants、 thermal sensation response to the environment.n response to the environment.

This study has a purpose of setting applicable ecological environment plan items when establishing city development plan. To achieve this purpose, multiple methods of data gathering, documentary surveys, and questionaries research were used in this study. The main findings of this study can be summarized as follows; 1. The appliance of ecological environment plan is appropriate to apply before the establishment of development plan. 2. The items applicable to ecological environment plan establishment step by step is the following. First, it is necessary to prepare the environment improvement plan and ecology restoration on the stage of assigning the area. Second, on the stage of planning development plan, it is required to set the restoration plan of ecological resources and step by step ecological environment plan. Third, on the stage of plan implementation, it is required to set the maintenance guide on ecological environment. 3. The planning items of ecological environment plan are "geographical features and soil", "water resource", "wind resource", "green resource", "circulation of resource", "usage of nature energy" and "habitats", etc. 4. To apply ecological environment plan to the planning of development, it is necessary to specify the clear concepts and specific plan. 5. This study is limited to select generalized planning items and later on, it is necessary to develop detailed planning contents.

This study aims at proposing a sound and sustainable development direction of an residential environment by analyzing testimonies of residents who lived in Park Hill flats or their surround at Sheffield City in the United Kingdom. The results are obtained through the analysis on a residential environment of Park Hill flats, opinions of the residents on its refurbishment, and effects of the building on the residential environment. The block of Park Hill flats was a community with a strong unity and solidarity, but that became increasingly a slum by the decline of the physical and social environment since the 1980s. In particular, it was identified that the deterioration of the social environment than that of the physical environment was a major cause of the decline. Nevertheless, it was found that "streets in the sky", the concept applied in Park Hill, played a key role in activating the community in the apartment complex. However, that street system in the complex has caused noise, poor security, and invasion of privacy. If such problems are solved, the streets in the sky will be a meaningful alternative for community activation and then ensuring sustainability in Korean residential environments that lost the function of the community.

As the problem of destroying natural environment is emerging as a common social issue world widely, recently in the filed of architecture there has been increasing interests in environment-friendly architecture according to the awakening and understanding of environmental pollution. The social problem caused by pursuing affluent urban life is now making the quality of life an issue against the urban policy that has been simply emphasizing quantitative expansion only. Accordingly, development and popularization of such a type as environment-friendly low-rise house is being suggested as an alternative idea, because it can combine secured independent space, which is a merit of independent houses, and characteristic architectural shapes, making possible the development of large scale environment-friendly complexes. Based on the analysis of the examples of Environment-friendly low-rise house in other countries that are utilizing amenity concepts, such as environment, ecology, culture and history, the present research proposed an alternative idea for highly dense high-rise houses, by resolving the problems of low-rise house complex caused by the variable of ecological environment. An effort was made to understand the concept of low-rise house through theoretical investigation, and based on the analysis of domestic and foreign cases, a method for improving the problems was deduced as a conclusion.
