This study was attempted to be a help in estimating changes of men's fashion in sociocultural environment by examining the diversified trends of domestic men's fashion through literature review, fashion collection analysis and questionnaire in various aspects. For data collection in this study, questionnaires were used, and these were corrected and supplemented after preliminary survey for male consumers from September 2009 to March 2010. Among total 460 copies, 431 copies were used in final analysis. First, among typical factors of changes in image of men's fashion, change of sexual role was shown as the most important factor. Contrary to men of the past, modern men are actively taking care of their appearance with changes of social values, which indicates that viewpoints on men have become flexible, such that the image of beauty does not apply just to women. Second, analysis on factors of image changes in men's fashion by age revealed that high mean values were obtained in factors of change of sexual role and trend with difference between groups, and factors of expression of individuality were highly rated without remarkable difference, and aesthetic factors were poorly rated without significance. Third, analysis on preference for formative characteristics of the Metro Sexual showed that feminine materials were negatively rated, and analysis on wearing experience revealed that several items become popular, indicating that wearing experiences are increasing in various areas. This study suggests a new viewpoint of cultural sexual consciousness of the youth that is continuously changing, and is meaningful in understanding emotional and rational lifestyle and cultural style of Metro Sexual, a recent phenomenon of men's fashion.

1. Purpose: The purpose is to apply and adapt ancient textile pattern to practical life, and to contribute to the promotion of the creative development of modernization and Koreanization of textile pattern by the survey of the extent of taste for the textile pattern existent in Korean costume among costumes. 2. Hypothesis: Textile pattern is in most classical one expressed in fact, but nowadays abstract or geometric one is more exist. Consumers are in most part in forties, and so the taste cannot be ignored. Therefore aesthetic consciousness found Korean costume is more important rather than excessively bold or mordern one. 3. Method and Process: (1) This research is analysed 386 one through college student and parents of a primary or high school. (2) Taste of the pattern is comparisoned and analyzed as age. education, pocket money of the student or an income of a month in home through computer. And the analysis of the statistics research is operation through the Chi-Square Goodness of-Fit-Test. 4. Conclusion: (1) The Korean costume put on mostly party or formal dress, therefore it should be researched as an outdoor dress with traditional costume. (2) The most one is concerned in textile pattern, it's taste is different from color, constitution. Textile industry is developed not only weave pattern, gold-coverning pattern but embroidry pattern, dye pattern, therefore the various side of pattern design should be researched. (3) In Side of form, plant pattern is not only most various but highest in popularity. According to approach nowadays, all of the pattern becomes composition or geometric one with abstract tendency and so from these day pattern is necessary combinationed, researched with our people emotion. (4) The color of textile pattern is choiced individual taste. Through investige, research in various side of the modern taste and our costume, we take growing interest in the color, composition of textile, and should dressed with beauty and grace. (5) In side of size, textile pattern is choiced to individual face and body shape through research on form, color, size of these pattern, we should endeavor to dress well. (6) In side of application, most people is concerned in not only interior ornament but the costume is high. Costume research by some people of the outside and symbol with interior through the pattern analysis is not only very important but also is due to people culture.

전 세계적으로 국가간의 커뮤니케이션이 활발하게 이루어지고 있는 현대사회에서 각 국가들은 스스로의 문화적 정체성을 확립하기 위해 부단한 노력을 기울이고 있다. 우리나라 또한 이러한 세계적인 움직임에 발맞춰 '한국적' 전통을 활용한 디자인 개발과 이를 실생활에 적용하기 위한 활발한 연구가 이루어지고 있다. 하지만 아직 우리나라에서 이루어지고 있는 한국적 디자인이란 단순히 전통 형태나 색채를 그대로 모방하는 것에 멈추어 독창적인 민족적 미의식을 창출해 내기에는 부족한 부분이 상당부분 발견 된다. 한국 전통 문화에 대한 연구가 지속되고 있음에도 불구하고 이러한 현상이 지속되고 있는 원인은 한국적 문화 정체성 확립과 활용이 아직은 부족한 결과라 사료된다. 이에 본 연구에서는 색채와 함께 한국의 전통미를 결정하는 주된 요소인 조형성, 즉 형태분석을 통하여 한국의 전통 형태의 정체성을 확립하고 예시를 통해 이를 현대디자인에 적용시키기 위한 방법을 연구하는 것을 목적으로 한다. 이를 위해 한국 전통 조형미에 대한 논의가 이루어 질 때 가장 빈번하게 언급되는 선(線)과 문양(文樣)을 중심으로 그 사용 행태와 조형적 특성을 의(衣), 식(食), 주(住)로 나누어 분석하고 현대적 적용 가능성을 위한 기초자료를 제시하고자 한다.

구곡시가는 구곡원림을 연구하는 중요한 소재이다. 특히 시가에서 출현하는 경물은 그 장소성과 원림의식을 표출하는 중요한 소재이다. 그러나 자연에 대한 인식 태도나 미적 형상화 과정을 탐구할 수 있는 식물 소재에 대하여 다수학문들은 소극적이다. 따라서 본 연구는 구곡원림문화의 연구 소재를 확장하기 위해 구곡시가에 출현한 식물에 관한 다양한 상징적 의미를 발굴하고 그 맥락을 밝히고자 한다. 연구의 목적을 수행하기 위해 나는 총 18구곡처 25개의 관련 시가를 수집하였고 총 20종의 식물을 발견하였다. 본 연구는 구곡 시가와 그 해설문을 R-program을 사용하여 수목의 의미를 도출하였고 상호텍스트성에 의한 수목의 의미를 고찰하였다. 연구결과, 20종의 식물은 신선계, 청빈, 향수, 군자의 품격, 진락, 절개, 강학, 태평성대의 상징적 의미를 내포하였다. 다수의 종은 '신선계'에 상징성을 집중하였고 다음으로 '군자의 품격'에 대한 싱징 빈도가 높았다. 복사나무, 느티나무, 떡갈나무 등을 제외한 다수의 수종이 다중적 의미를 갖추고 있었다. 그 중 소나무와 연꽃이 상징적 의미의 폭이 넓었고 주변 경관의 특성에 따라 의미도 달랐다. 일반적으로 구곡문화는 자연경관을 대상으로 하지만 용산, 퇴계, 덕산, 주산구곡은 인위적인 배식 및 정원 행위를 통해 상징적 의미를 강화 또는 재생산하는 특징을 보여주었다. 우리 구곡시가는 무릉도원을 상징하는 복사나무의 한계를 극복하기 위해 단풍나무와 갈대를 대체 수종으로 활용하였다. 이상의 맥락에 따라, 구곡시가에 출현하는 수목은 전통적인 의미를 고집하기보다는 해당 구곡의 경물, 행위 그리고 의도에 따라 그 상징적 의미를 다르게 표출하였다.

Historically, garments have been spontaneously made with human instinct in order to warm and decorate the body using textiles that have been made and used by various peoples in different cultures. Contemporary garments have been used as a means of warming as well as express individual personality and a desire to pursue beauty. They have a unique formativeness and a symbolic nature according to cultural phenomena that reflect a cultural outcome that expresses contemporary thinking and ideology as well as their aesthetic consciousness. This study globally promotes Chinese opera mask culture and proposes the possibility of creative thinking through the introduction of Chinese opera mask elements into contemporary fashion, expressing them as patchworks. In order to endow artistic value (required in contemporary fashion) this study creates works by analyzing and applying a formative sense seen in patchwork techniques and the characteristics of Chinese opera masks; in addition, it sought the possibility of new expressions in garment designs. The results obtained from the research involve the following. First, the introduction of the traditional patchwork technique to contemporary garments may be a dynamic theme of garment expression and exceed stereotypical ideas that enable the creation of designs attuned to the globalization era. Second, it was possible to pursue independent formativeness which is in harmony with a modern sense through the restructuring of the harmony of colors and practical characteristics found in patchworks. Third, it was possible to demonstrate their artistry and unique effect in the expression of contemporary garments by the expression of the analyzed results of characteristic patterns of Chinese opera masks with a patchwork technique in creating works. Results show that it is necessary to conduct research into a patchwork technique that applies diverse materials as a new method to develop contemporary garment design also as a creative design. In addition, if the analyzed results of the characteristic patterns of Chinese opera masks can be expressed with a patchwork technique, they may be able to exhibit a genuine effect along with the artistry of expression in contemporary garments; thereby, relevant follow-up research should be further continued.

In this thesis, I examined the mental, philosophical aspects and the aesthetic sense of our ancestors through the study of the patterns pictured in the mural paintings of Koguryo dynasty's old tomb. To view the mode of construction in Koguryo dynasty from present angle, the detailed analysis of the patterns was done. As a result, I could fully understand the formative consciousness of our nation. 1. I defined the process of transition of the mural paintings by putting some 70 mural aintings into the form of a diagram. 2. The cultural aspects of the mural paintings in Koguryo dynasty were characterized by the fusion of our primitive religion and Buddhism, Confucianism and Taoism which were introduced from China. From this fact, I could inferred that Koguryo people were giving off the strong desire for the faith by means of the mural paintings. Further more I found that configuration of the patterns such as religious elements. 3. The types of the patterns were classified into four types, this is, geometric type, natural type, cultural type and abstract type, Among these types, geometric type and natural type were nonsymbolic in nature but became cultured and abstracted in course of time. cultural pattern and abstract pattern got the symbolic meaning in the long run. Of all the constitution of the patterns represented in the mural paintings such as repeat constitution, left and right symmetric constitution, top and bottom symmetric constitution and rotary symmetric constitution, the left and right symmetric constitution was mainly used and some monotony of left and right symmetric constitution. The analysis of motif which was got from the mode of the patterns showed that the mixing of symbolic and nonsymbolic patterns made it possible to regard the separate symbol as compound in nonsymbolic patterns and the combination between nonsymbolic patterns ensured the understanding of other patterns in certain cases. Our ancestors made great efforts to transmit certain meaning symbolically. Also to heighten the symbolism, they drew the meangless patterns firstly and then appended meaning to those patterns secondly. Furthermore, they offered the background to the patterns comblined with symbolism, so that meaning transmission was clarified at last. As mentioned above, the patterns shown in the mural paintings of Koguryo dynasty's old tomb were characterized by natural beauty. And natural beauty was found out clearly in the form and constitution of the patterns. Therefore I concluded that our nation's religious, philosophical tradition was acted on the patterns strongly.

This research focused on determining the brassiere preference index and wearing status of chinese ladies in their 20's living in the Shanghai region of China, to help Korean lingerie companies in their development of bras to successfully advance into the Chinese lingerie market. The main research tool of this research was various different surveys, and the results of the surveys were evaluated using the SPSS 12.0 for Window program. The results of the survey can be summarized as: 1) consciousness and satisfaction level of the body. The satisfaction level of the brest was proportionate to the size of the brassiere, thus, people showed higher level of satisfaction for cone-shaped, semi-circular shaped, prominent-shaped(exposing), lifted-shaped brest over flat-shaped brest. Concerning the relationship between the shape of the brest and the age of the customers, people under 22 years of age preferred flat-shaped, and those between 23-24 years of age preferring exposing and lifted brest, thus as females mature and get older, the size of their brest increases, thus having preference on more circular and lifted-shaped brest and bras. 2) Status of bra wearing in China When we look at the size of the bra in relation to the shape of the brest, those classified as having 'flat-shaped' brest showed a high proportion of A-cups, ranging from 75A, 70A and 80A, where as those of 'cone-shaped' brest represented high ration of B-cups, ranging from 75B, 75A and 80B. Majority of those classified as having 'semi-circular shaped' and 'prominent-shaped(exposing)' brest showed a high ration in the size 80 range. And vast majority of those classified into the 'lifted-shaped' brest group, were reported of having C-cup size bras. 3) Status of Bra Purchasing As people mature, the main reason behind choosing a bra was the actual design of the bra, where they emphasized the importance of aesthetic values. People classified as having 'flat-shaped' and 'cone-shaped' brest emphasized the importance of design and beauty, while those having 'semi-circular shaped,' 'prominent-shaped(exposing),' and 'liftedshaped' brest groups emphasized the importance of hygiene and the material(fabric) of the bra. This shows that when people have relatively smaller brest, they emphasize the importance of external appearance whereas when the size of the brest increases, they pay more attention to the function of the bra rather than the external appearance.

본 연구의 목적은 21세기 패션컬렉션에 나타난 모즈 룩에 대한 다양한 미학적 고찰을 통해 사회문화적 배경과 시대정신에 따라 한 시대의 미의식이 패션에 반영되는 특성을 분석하여 패션의 문화적 역할을 재인식하고자 하는 것이다. 연구방법은 모즈와 모즈 룩에 대한 문헌고찰과 2001년부터 2006년까지의 패션잡지에 나타난 모즈 룩의 사진 168건의 자료를 통한 실증적 분석을 하였다. 분석결과, 21세기 패션에서의 모즈 룩은 미니멀 스타일, 스포츠 캐주얼 스타일, 빈티지 스타일, 댄디 & 앤드로지너스 스타일로 유형화할 수 있었다. 이처럼 모즈 룩은 젊음, 발랄함, 새로움 등의 감성과 절충될 뿐만 아니라 스포츠 룩 그리고 스트리트 패션에까지 나타남으로써 대중의 기호에 맞는 디자인 개발 및 새로운 미래 패션영감에 계속 반영 될 것이다.

오늘날의 급변하는 매체환경 속에서 파운드 푸티지 필름메이킹은 영화를 포함한 시각예술 분야에서 주목받고 있는 영상제작 방식이다. 기존의 필름 푸티지들을 전유하여 새로운 의미와 맥락을 만들어 내는 파운드 푸티지 필름은 영화 스스로 자신의 매체를 검토하고 성찰하는 자의식적 장르이다. 본 논문에서는 파운드 푸티지 필름에서 중요한 지점을 담당하는 발견의 의미를 규정하고 그 기원을 원시 시대의 예술적 충동에 이어 다다와 초현실주의의에서 찾았다. 또한 파운드 푸티지 필름의 중요한 특징을 자기반영성으로 보고 이를 파운드 아트와 연계하여 논의를 진행시켰다. 덧붙여 유희적이거나 도발적으로 환영주의적 예술의 허점과 결함, 그리고 봉합 자국에 주의를 환기시키며 스스로를 드러내는 모더니즘적 자기반영성의 특징을 고찰하고, 파운드 푸티지 필름메이커들이 취하였던 다양한 방법들 중 세 가지 방식을 축으로 텍스트 분석을 하였다. 이는 첫째, 필름의 물질적 구조를 드러내어 환영성을 폭로하고 탈신비화 시키는 방식, 둘째, 소멸되어가는 셀룰로이드의 유한성을 강조하여 필름의 물질성과 역사성을 환기시키는 방식, 셋째, 시간 구조를 변형시킴으로써 과거의 기록과 기억에 관여하며 새로운 지각을 환기시키는 방식들로 나뉘어 제시되었다. 셀룰로이드가 역사적, 예술적 매체로 보존되어야만 하는 작금의 시기에 필름을 재사유하고 재생산하는 자기반영적 파운드 푸티지 필름에 대한 고찰은 시각매체연구에서 필요한 작업이 될 것이다. 시네마와 미술의 경계에 서있는 파운드 푸티지 필름에 대한 본 연구가 과거와 이어져있는 우리의 현 위치를 성찰하고 영상 문화를 이해하는데 부분적으로나마 도움이 되기를 기대한다.

애니메이션은 다른 매체와는 구별되는 독특한 미학적 특성들을 지니고 있다. 우선적으로 애니메이션은 분절 촬영으로 손에 의해 만들어진 창조적 이미지이다. 또한 '변형'을 통해 생성된 애니메이션 이미지는 특유의 '운동성'으로 새로운 시공간을 얻는다. 본 논문에서는 애니메이션의 시공간의 표현성을 크게 두 가지로 나누어 다룬다. 첫째는 변형 이미지와 둘째는 운동성에서 이루어지는 이미지이다. 이를 구체화하기 위해서 본 논문은 조르주 슈비츠게벨의 작품을 분석하였다. 슈비츠게벨의 작품들은 애니메이션의 이러한 구조적 특성을 잘 반영하였다. 특히, 슈비츠게벨의 , < La course ${\grave{a}}$ $l^{\prime}ab{\hat{i}}me$ >은 다양한 변형과 운동성이 그의 표현방법과 함께 잘 결합했다는 점에서 애니메이션 시공간 분석의 좋은 사례가 되는 작품들이다. 이들 작품의 이미지들은 위의 주된 표현장치들을 통해 끊임없는 변형적 흐름을 지속한다. 본 연구는 이 작품들 속에서 변형과 운동성이 어떤 기능을 하면서 의미를 만드는가를 분석하는데 초점을 맞춘다. 이들 작품들은 변형과 다양한 움직임으로 이루어져, 관객에게 다양한 영화적 형식을 지각하도록 만든다. 여기서 우리는 공간과 시간, 정지와 운동, 2차원과 3차원, 해체와 재구성, 추상과 구상 등 무수한 이중적 구조를 체험하게 되는데, 그 주된 장치는 변형과 애니메이션의 운동성을 강화한데서 기인한다고 할 수 있다.
