A Spread Prediction Tool based on the Modeling of Malware Epidemics (악성코드 확산 모델링에 기반한 확산 예측 도구 개발)

  • Rapidly spreading malware, such as ransomware, trojans and Internet worms, have become one of the new major threats of the Internet recently. In order to resist against their malicious behaviors, it is essential to comprehend how malware propagate and how main factors affect spreads of them. In this paper, we aim to develop a spread prediction tool based on the modeling of malware epidemics. So we surveyed the related studies, and described the system design and implementation. In addition, we experimented on the spread of malware with major factors of malware using the developed spread prediction tool. If you make good use of the proposed prediction tool, it is possible to predict the malware spread at major factors and explore under various responses from a macro perspective with only basic knowledge of the recently wormable malware.

  • The mutual exclusion (MX) paradigm can be used as a building block in many practical problems such as group communication, atomic commitment and replicated data management where the exclusive use of an object might be useful. The problem has been widely studied in the research community since one reason for this wide interest is that many distributed protocols need a mutual exclusion protocol. However, despite its usefulness, to our knowledge there is no work that has been devoted to this problem in a mobile computing environment. In this paper, we describe a solution to the mutual exclusion problem from mobile computing systems. This solution is based on the token-based mutual exclusion algorithm.

  • Recently, it has increased projects in the Oil and Gas industry as growing plant of overseas construction market. Therefore, domestic companies need to set some aggressive plans up that secure competitiveness of international plant business such as enhancing productivity, technological ability and statistical management. Specifically in the Oil and Gas industry of overseas plant business requires implying information in EPC (Engineering, Procurement and Construction, below EPC) more, but it has not been suggested an appropriate breakdown system for contents that manages the information each EPC phase, which lead to problems such as revision of design document, occurring duplicated work and omissions of each participant. For these problems, we find market share decreasing and competitiveness running down. Thus, for increasing practical use of contents management system and construction industry's information, this paper suggests a contents breakdown system based on BPM (Business Process Management), defines business process and systematizing knowledge needed, and finally analyzing contents information that establish information among industrial facilities in Design phase which is the weakest part of domestic companies.

The Design of Keyword Spotting System based on Auditory Phonetical Knowledge-Based Phonetic Value Classification (청음 음성학적 지식에 기반한 음가분류에 의한 핵심어 검출 시스템 구현)

  • This study outlines two viewpoints the classification of phone likely unit (PLU) which is the foundation of korean large vocabulary speech recognition, and the effectiveness of Chiljongseong (7 Final Consonants) and Paljogseong (8 Final Consonants) of the korean language. The phone likely classifies the phoneme phonetically according to the location of and method of articulation, and about 50 phone-likely units are utilized in korean speech recognition. In this study auditory phonetical knowledge was applied to the classification of phone likely unit to present 45 phone likely unit. The vowels 'ㅔ, ㅐ'were classified as phone-likely of (ee) ; 'ㅒ, ㅖ' as [ye] ; and 'ㅚ, ㅙ, ㅞ' as [we]. Secondly, the Chiljongseong System of the draft for unified spelling system which is currently in use and the Paljongseonggajokyong of Korean script haerye were illustrated. The question on whether the phonetic value on 'ㄷ' and 'ㅅ' among the phonemes used in the final consonant of the korean fan guage is the same has been argued in the academic world for a long time. In this study, the transition stages of Korean consonants were investigated, and Ciljonseeng and Paljongseonggajokyong were utilized in speech recognition, and its effectiveness was verified. The experiment was divided into isolated word recognition and speech recognition, and in order to conduct the experiment PBW452 was used to test the isolated word recognition. The experiment was conducted on about 50 men and women - divided into 5 groups - and they vocalized 50 words each. As for the continuous speech recognition experiment to be utilized in the materialized stock exchange system, the sentence corpus of 71 stock exchange sentences and speech corpus vocalizing the sentences were collected and used 5 men and women each vocalized a sentence twice. As the result of the experiment, when the Paljongseonggajokyong was used as the consonant, the recognition performance elevated by an average of about 1.45% : and when phone likely unit with Paljongseonggajokyong and auditory phonetic applied simultaneously, was applied, the rate of recognition increased by an average of 1.5% to 2.02%. In the continuous speech recognition experiment, the recognition performance elevated by an average of about 1% to 2% than when the existing 49 or 56 phone likely units were utilized.

  • The 4th industrial revolution refers to the transition to a knowledge society in which the production speed of knowledge is fast and the proportion of the knowledge industry is greatly increased. The reorganization of the industrial structure and the change of occupations and jobs due to new technologies are bringing about changes in education, and the development of digital technology has made education that is borderless, individual and dynamic, becoming the new standard of education. With these changes, interest in nano-degrees on new technologies or micro-degrees focused on core courses rather than regular course degrees is increasing. As a representative example, Udacity in the United States has opened and operated online nanodegree courses related to jobs, and collaborates with major companies to develop and educate core training courses necessary for companies, thereby efficiently supporting companies in securing talent. With the revitalization of online vocational and job training, an environment has been prepared in which individuals can set goals for vocational competency development and continue their portfolio-based sustainable learning. However, for effective vocational education, automated and personalized educational content design should be preceded. To this end, in this paper, we propose a personalized career and course map recommendation system in the era of online learning

  • This paper dealt with the design and implementation of an expert system to monitor and diagnose the lightning arresters in GIS substations. The expert system consists of a data acquisition module(DAM) based on microprocessor and diagnostic algorithms. The DAM measures and analyzes several parameters necessary for the arrester diagnosis such as system voltages, leakage current components, and temperatures. Also, it includes an intelligent surge counter which can record the date and tin, the polarity, and the amplitude of surge currents. All the data acquired is transmitted to a remote computer by a low rate wireless network specified in IEEE 802.15.4 to avoid electromagnetic intereference under high voltage and large current environments. The decision-making for the arrester diagnosis completes with a Java Expert System Shell(JESS) which is composed of a knowledge base, an inference engine and a graphic user interface(GUI).

  • Recently, the study about the technology which effectively manage spatial information is actively conducted. For the effective knowledge inquiry, various extended data mining methods are applied in spatial data mining. However, former spatial association rule system appears the problem that does not reflect various non-spatial property along the inquiries because it searches the rule from the calculation among predicates. To resolve the problem, present study suggests the system that extends the inquiries using in spatial database, searches the association rule among non-spatial object property after setting the data based on space information. Especially, the model which is applicable to geographical information system is embodied. Embodied system with this method enables to search more useful spatial association rule in real life since it shows high migration property with extended spatial database and considers spatial property and various non-spatial property.

  • The pilot (human actor) involved in the control loop of the highly automated aircraft systems (machine actor) must be able to monitor these systems just as the machine actor must also be able to monitor the human actor. For its safety and better performance of the human machine system, each of the two elements must be knowledgeable about the other's intentions or goals. In fact, several recent accidents occurred due to goal conflicts between human and machines in a modern avionic system. To facilitate the coordination of these actors, a computational aid was developed. The aid, which operates in a part-task simulator environment, attempts to facilitate the management of the goals and functions being performed to accomplish them. To provide an accurate knowledge of both actors' goals and their function statuses, the aid uses agent-based objects representing the elements of the cockpit operations. This paper describes the development of the flightdeck goals and functions called Agenda Management.

  • One of the cooperative learning models, the cooperative learning of structural approach which is very simple and easily applicable accomplishes teaching-learning through combining learning contents and organic connections of various structures. This work proposes a cooperative teaching-learning model for the structural approach, designs and implements a web-based cooperative system supporting it. The model provides a concrete frame which can apply to a subject learning thus could effectively support cooperative learning. Furthermore, it classifies learning into three types such as knowledge learning, investigation, and function mastering and presents a structure application model for each so as to apply different structures according to learning materials and types. We implemented a system that performs cooperative learning on the basis of these models, applied to a class, and analyzed the effect of it.

  • In this paper, we Introduce the Unreal Tournament (UT) game and the Gamebots system. The former it a well-known 3D first-person action game and the latter is an intelligent agent research testbed based on UT And then we explain the design and implementation of KGBot, which is an intelligent non-player character deploying effectively within the 3D virtual environment provided by UT and the Gamebots system. KGBot is a bot client within the Gamebots System. KGBot accomplishes its own task to find out and dominate several domination points pro-located on the complex surface map of 3D virtual environment KGBot adopts UM-PRS as its control engine, which is a general BDI agent architecture. KGBot contains a hierarchical knowledge base representing its complex behaviors in multiple layers. In this paper, we explain details of KGBot's Intelligent behaviors, tuck af locating the hidden domination points by exploring the unknown world effectively. constructing a path map by collecting the waypoints and paths distributed over the world, and finding an optimal path to certain destination based on this path graph. Finally we analyze the performance of KGBot exploring strategy and control engine through some experiments on different 3D maps.
