동적지식도와 관계형 데이터베이스 기반의 의료영역 지식 개념화 (Dynamic Knowledge Map and RDB-based Knowledge Conceptualization in Medical Arena)

  • Management of human knowledge is an interesting concept that has attracted the attention of philosophers for thousands of years. Artificial intelligence and knowledge engineering has provided some degree of rigor to the study of knowledge systems and expert systems(ES) re able to use knowledge to solve the problems and answer questions. Therefore, the process of conceptualization and inference of knowledge are fundamental problem solving activities and hence, are essential activities for solving the problem of software ES construction Especially, the access to relevant, up-to-date and reliable knowledge is very important task in the daily work of physicians and nurses. In this study, we propose the conceptualization and inference mechanism for implicit knowledge management in medical diagnosis area. To this purpose, we combined the dynamic knowledge map(KM) and relational database(RDB) into a dynamic knowledge map(DKM). A graphical user-interface of DKM allows the conceptualization of the implicit knowledge of medical experts. After the conceptualization of implicit knowledge, we developed an RDB-based inference mechanism and prototype software ES to access and retrieve the implicit knowledge stored in RDB. Our proposed system allows the fast comfortable access to relevant knowledge fitting to the demands of the current task.

  • Expert systems have a variety of potential applications in process control. The application domain ranges from the entire plant system to a single loop system. Both, off-line and real-time problems may be realized. In this paper, expert system is employed as a part of a single control loop of PID Controller with self-tuning. The goal of expert system in the present study is to build up the necessary process knowledge required for efficient control. In order to achieve this process, the development of an expert system and a prototype model is carried out. OPS5, a rule based production system, is utilized in experiment, and common LISP is used for man-machine interface.

  • The art psychotherapy expert system is a computer system which helps to analyse one's psychology through pictures. However we need a standard criterion because the psychology, the target of the art psychotherapy, does not only have a ambiguous criterion but also a vast range. We're going to suggest a criterion in the field of the art psychotherapy by constructing systematic database through knowledge acquirement of the art psychotherapy expert system. In this study we introduce a system which enables systematic classification and confirmation of symptoms according to mental analyses. The suggested system enables confirmation of a classical structure and systematic classification of knowledges through conversation by extracting nouns through sentence analysis from the knowledge of descriptive form based on the clinical purpose of sentence analysis.

  • Scheduling jobs effectively under consideration of actual loads on machines is one of the most complicated tasks in production control. The complexity of the finite capacity scheduling often makes the conventional methods of industrial engineering fail. As an alternative, Knowledge-based approaches to job-shop scheduling have been evolved recently. This paper presents a blackboard- based scheduling expert system which combines knowledge-based scheduling with interactive scheduling. It is shown to be possible to generate the feasible schedule within a reasonable time. Flexible reaction management is also possible while keeping the changes in the generated schedule to the minimal and adjusting the schedule to tardy operations or working environmental changes. The system is equipped with a rule base with heuristics for handling conflicted event. A case study applying the implemented system is described.

  • In this paper, the expert system to reduce the amount of food waste is proposed. The method of material flow analysis (MFA) is applied. Proper handling of waste beyond the terms of the need for proactive research been mentioned before, but actually cause the waste generator research focuses on consumer behavior and the business community to analyze the flow of materials within the study are insufficient. In this paper, the type of food consumption and food waste, look at the relationship between the occurrence of secondary schools in the diet is provided for students to examine the preferences of the target model diet expert system was reconfigured. Preference for leaving the food in the diet leads to the important information that is Each diet recipes that make up the target material flow analysis (MFA) was constructed to perform all the database. This database is currently being generated from the rain while cooking diet edible plants and materials to reflect the self-esteem following the recommended diet is used to create. Reducing food waste is actually being used currently in research knowledge to the knowledge base was constructed. Future Home Smart System was developed in conjunction with the system to the user, by providing guidelines for the utilization can be expected.

  • Use of casting simulation software, analyzing the reason for defect became easy. However, to create a practical solution, experienced casting expert's knowledge is always indispensable. In this study, we develop casting design automation system and the algorithm based on casting expert's knowledge, so that faster and more accurate design is enabled. Especially, to generate runner which can be shaped in numerous ways, we suggest the 'nexus' method to shape runner system.

  • 위성의 수와 복잡도가 증가함에 따라서 다양한 고장이 생기는 경우를 예측하고 고장이 발생한 경우 이를 감지하여 신속히 감지하여 처리하는 노력의 필요성이 증가하게 된다. 현재는 위성 관제소의 전문요원들이 이러한 작업을 수행하고 있지만, 많은 부분이 일상적인 작업이므로 이러한 진단 작업을 자동화할 필요성이 있다. 즉, 일상적인 작업은 전문가시스템이 수행하고, 보다 복잡하고 고차원적인 문제는 전문요원이 해결하는 방식이 바람직하다. 이 논문에서는 이러한 노력의 일환으로 인공지능의 사례기반 방식을 도입한 위성 고장진단 전문가시스템을 구축하기 위한 방법론과 이에 따른 프로토타입 시스템을 설계하고 구현하였다. 사례기반 시스템은 과거의 사례를 기억하고 있는 사례베이스를 구축하고 고장의 증상이 발생한 경우에 이러한 사례베이스로부터 가장 근사한 경우를 인덱스하여 처리하는 기능을 가지고 있다. 이 논문은 이러한 기능을 가지는 사례기반 시스템의 구조와 활용방안에 대해서 서술하고자 한다.

Fuzzy Inference in RDB using Fuzzy Classification and Fuzzy Inference Rules

  • In this paper, a framework for implementing UFIS (Unified Fuzzy rule-based knowledge Inference System) is presented. First, fuzzy clustering and fuzzy rules deal with the presence of the knowledge in DB (DataBase) and its value is presented with a value between 0 and 1. Second, RDB (Relational DB) and SQL queries provide more flexible functionality fur knowledge management than the conventional non-fuzzy knowledge management systems. Therefore, the obtained fuzzy rules offer the user additional information to be added to the query with the purpose of guiding the search and improving the retrieval in knowledge base and/ or rule base. The framework can be used as DM (Data Mining) and ES (Expert Systems) development and easily integrated with conventional KMS (Knowledge Management Systems) and ES.

  • The necessity of diagnosis of the rotating machinery which is widely used in the industry is increasing. If rotating machinery has fault, we can detect fault using vibration or noise. But, in diagnosing rotating machinery, the end user who doesn't have expert knowledge needs the help of vibration diagnosis expert. However, vibration diagnosis experts who well satisfy the demand of end user are rare. So, this paper propose a development of the case-based reasoning system for abnormal vibration diagnosis of rotating machinery we construct the past experiences of vibration diagnosis expert into case base and shear the experiences of diagnosis expert with the end user. In this paper, we describe that process of structured system and adapting result of abnormal vibration diagnosis of electric motor.

사회망을 이용한 XMDR 기반의 전문가 추천 시스템 (Expert Recommendation System based on XMDR using Social Network)

  • 최근 사회망 기반의 검색 서비스들을 중심으로 다양한 방법들이 제시되고 있다. 기존의 추천시스템들은 특정 영역의 전문가를 검색할 수 있지만 검색하고자 하는 전문가에 대한 프로파일과 전문가를 평가하는 항목이 한 시스템에 있어야만 한다. 본 논문에서는 지식베이스와 XMDR을 이용하여 서로 다른 시스템에 존재하는 전문가 프로파일과 전문가를 평가하는 항목 수집을 자동화할 수 있다. 또한 다양한 리소스들을 이용하여 사회망을 동적으로 구축하여 여러 전문가를 추천할 수 있는 시스템을 구성하고자한다. 그러나 다양한 리소스들은 지역적으로 분산되어 있고 이종의 데이터 소스들로 구성되어있기 때문에 사용자 의사결정을 위한 정보를 얻는 것은 어렵다. 이러한 문제를 효율적으로 해결하기 위해서 사용자에게 단일 인터페이스를 제공하고 이종시스템들 간에 구축된 리소스들에는 각각 독립성과 투명성을 제공할 필요성이 있다. 따라서 본 논문에서는 분산되어있는 전문가 프로파일 추출을 위해 XMDR과 지식베이스를 이용하고 이러한 지식베이스를 사회망과 연계한 전문가 추천 시스템을 설계한다.
