Objective : UMLS is 'Ontology' which establishes the database for medical terminology by gathering various medical vocabularies representing same fundamental concepts. Method : Although Chinese character are represented in the Chinese part of Korean Unicode system in a computer, writing of Chinese characters is vary depending on Chinese input systems and Chinese writers' levels of knowledge. As the result of this, representation of Chinese writing in a computer will be considerably different from an old Chinese document. Therefore, a meaningful relationship between digital Chinese terminology and translated Korean is necessary in order to build Ontology for Chinese medical terms from Oriental medical prescription in a computer system. Result : This research will present 1:1 mapping information among the Chinese characters used in the Oriental medical prescription with analysis of 'same character different sound' and 'same meaning different shape' in Chinese part of Unicode systems. Conclusions : Furthermore, the research will provide top-down menu of relationship between Chinese term and Korean term in medical prescription with assumption of that the Oriental medical prescription has its own unique meaning.

This study has a goal to read a trend of language research by analysing evaluation tools and methods that researchers have used for assessing young children's language abilities. Thus the study has chosen 237 language ability evaluation methods out of 121 young child's language ability evaluation researches. The treatises were selected from 4 types of early childhood education journals registered on the Korea Research Foundation. The data analysis was employed for processing the frequency and percentage of the collected data. The results were as follows: First, of single age groups the subject group most selected was five-year-olders and of mixed-age groups the subject group most selected was from three to five, and the number of subjects in researches were mostly below fifty children. The researches were sorted into an 'experimental/ investigational researching' type that has been frequently re-utilized by others, an 'interview type' using a data collection method, and a 'difference verification' type using a data analysis method which has been used in majority of studies. Second, the number of treaties that required data analysis has increased since 1996. Concludingly, the analysis of young child's language ability evaluation tools shows that the purposes of many researches were concentrated on studying children's knowledge about language, children's language functions such as speaking, reading, writing and listening, while evaluation contents were focused on speaking and writing.

The purpose of this study is to gain a better understanding of undergraduate citation behavior and to measure the contribution which an academic library makes in the academic writing of students. Citations in 80 student papers submitted in the academic paper competition was analyzed for types of items cited and the number of items in the library collection, etc. The findings indicate: 1) the level of undergraduates' citation knowledge is very low, 2) undergraduates prefer web resources (44.9%) to such academic resources as books, journal articles, theses or dissertation, and 3) undergraduates find academic resources in their academic library. Upon these findings, this study suggests that academic library staff should intervene to enhance undergraduate academic writing skills and to develope of educational material, including how to search for and cite reliable resources.

This research paper is applying Family Tree with Story Authoring System on the previous research study about writing tool data model on interactive storytelling about family history. In this study, primary personal information holding identity of the person such as name, birthday and family tree, given at birth, was categorized into secondary function defined as "family contents" consisting of family achievements, episodes and experiences. Family contents was restructured to be used as creative ingredients to increase the value and usage of family contents...Family Tree with Story writing system enables users to create text, images, videos and digital contents based on experimental knowledge collected from the first and second generations.

This study is about classical music lovers who write a lengthy concert review on instagram. The intention and objective of writing a review is discussed in addition to inter-communication between those reviewers. For the analysis, an interview with 8 reviewers are mainly analyzed with their reviews. As a result, it is found that some affordances of Instagram, easiness, randomness, and friendliness affects them to use Instagram more than other social media. Hence, since Instagram is image-based platform, it helps writers to keep their reviews from getting an attention by other users. Because of their sense of inferiority that they are lacking in classical music knowledge, continuous writing and reading of reviews help them accumulating some amount of cultural capital needed for understanding classical music in a proper way.

Didactic transposition refers to an adaptive treatment of mathematical knowledge into knowledge to be taught. This study intends to investigate how mathematical knowledge was modified in mathematics textbooks and lessons. This study identified examples of didactic transposition in mathematics textbooks and lessons in Korea and those in the U.S., The examples identified were FOIL method, trigonometry using s, c, t in writing style, order of operations(PEMDAS), area of a circle and circumference, order of prefixes in the metric system, trigonometry(SOH, CAH, TOA), operations on integer, and regular polyhedra. These examples were classified into the two categories, one for mnemonics, and one for concreteness and intuitiveness. Then a survey was conducted for in-service teachers in Korea and those in the U.S. to evaluate the appropriateness and the necessity of didactic transposition. Lastly, the potential didactic phenomena, meta-cognitive shift which may occur with these examples were discussed.

Problem development is important to Problem-Based Learning (PBL) and is key to the creativity and problem-solving skills of successful learners. The purpose of this study is to have PBL classes that effectively materialize problem development stages, and to develop learning using problems suitable for elementary school English Science classes. In this study, the steps for developing the problems are identifying educational content, identifying learners' characteristics, discovering problems, setting up roles and situations, and writing problems. Based on these steps, five PBL problems were developed by selecting a subject suitable for the PBL method of an English Science class, which is one of the English curriculums in elementary schools. Creative thinking, problem-solving skills, presentation skills, confidence, self-directed learning, cooperation, and communication skills are required in the rapidly changing society of the 21st century, rather than teacher-centered instruction, acquiring knowledge for correct answers only, and uniform assessments, which still take place in many English education settings. Therefore, developing problems suitable for PBL learning should be continuously studied.

This study studied a teaching model for software education using generative AI. The purpose of the study is to use ChatGPT as an instructor's assistant in programming classes for non-major students by using ChatGPT in software education. In addition, we designed ChatGPT to enable individual learning for learners and provide immediate feedback when students need it. The research method was conducted using ChatGPT as an assistant for non-computer majors taking a liberal arts Python class. In addition, we confirmed whether ChatGPT has the potential as an assistant in programming education for non-major students. Students actively used ChatGPT for writing assignments, correcting errors, writing coding, and acquiring knowledge, and confirmed various advantages, such as being able to focus on understanding the program rather than spending a lot of time resolving errors. We were able to see the potential for ChatGPT to increase students' learning efficiency, and we were able to see that more research is needed on its use in education. In the future, research will be conducted on the development, supplementation, and evaluation methods of educational models using ChatGPT.

Through the humorous comic strips which contain beneficial health information, people are able to accept the information willingly. The corresponding author as a medical doctor has elaborated four-frame comic strips including the health information and published 27 episodes in the major domestic newspaper. The aim of this research informing the author's experiences was to help other experts distribute their knowledge through the comics. For the comic strips, writing was succeeded by drawing. Writing was done as follows: First, the useful and followable health information was introduced to make the comic strips beneficial. Second, the information was logically explained to make the comic strips easy. Third, the information was mixed with joke to make the comic strips funny. As far as the author experienced, it was advantageous for the experts to draw comics by themselves. If ones have expertise in their fields such as law, architecture, they can be confident of drawing good comics.

The purpose of this study is to investigate the appropriate way of essay writing education which helps the learners perceive and express a stream of knowledge through Home Economics education curriculum by themselves. While one-way type, which teachers just give instructions to students and students just learn from them, has dominated the education, new education focuses on interactive and reciprocal way in thinking and researching together. This new stream requires appropriate and various education method as well as the new concept of education curriculum. This study applies the curriculum of the German practical philosophy that recently has been a debated topic in Home Economics education. The purpose of the curriculum pursuits improving students' practical and critical thinking competence and essay writing is the center of it. In the curriculum learners write essays by asking and answering the questions through seven areas which students can experience based on three angles such as individual, social, and idealogical viewpoints. In this process learners don't remain in the individual angles and are able to be trained as intellectuals who can lead the social and cultural change as well as the individual growth by getting an insight into the idealogical angles. The Germany curriculum what is mentioned in advance presents one possibility that essay education can be introduced in Home Economics education that has accessed the education process by the practical inference based on the practical philosophy. That is, Home Economics education shares the context with essay education whose purpose is the intellect enlightenment because the former is the curriculum to make students build the abilities to access in many-sided angles not just one point, to deal with problems wisely, and to deduce the solutions. Therefore, students are expected to participate in the class dynamically by being satisfied intellectually abreast of practical essay education that helps learners read the stream of knowledge through Home Economics education. In this manner the category of Home Economics education will enlarge by making efforts to diversify the education methodology not staying only one method.
