A Study on the Affect of Tourism Motivation on Tourism Satisfaction : Focused on Senior Tourists

  • The tourism motivations of the senior tourists were used to analyze the effect on the tourism satisfaction. As result of the analysis, the rest motivation and knowledge expansion motivation bring positive effect except the social connectedness motivation. The senior tourist wanted to have their own time and preferred the tourism program focused on the leisure. They also seemed to have comparably high self-esteem. The self-development programs should be made and good relationship through the tourism satisfaction must be developed. The result of the study shows that the senior tourists are exhausted mentally and physically, and this fact affected a lot on the rest motivation which is one of the tourism motivations.

초등학교 과학 수업에서 개념도 활용의 효과 (The Effects of Using Concept Mapping as an Instructional Tool in Elementary School Science Classes)

  • In this study, we investigated the effects of using concept mapping as an instructional tool on 4th graders' achievement, science learning motivation, and attitude toward science classes. Two classes (38 students) from an elementary school were respectively assigned to a control group and a treatment group. Students were taught about "expansion of matter by heat" and "heat transfer". These topics were chosen because they require students to understand more concepts as well as relationships among them. A science learning motivation test and an attitude toward science classes test were administered as pretests. A researcher-made achievement test, the science learning motivation test, and the attitude toward science classes test were administered as posttests. The results indicated that using concept mapping in 4th-grade science classes was not significantly effective in improving students' achievement though a statistically significant positive effect was found in the subcategory of knowledge. No statistically significant effect of using concept mapping was found in the scores of the science learning motivation test and the attitude toward science classes test. Educational implications are discussed.

자율실습에서의 상호동료 교수법 적용경험에 대한 융합적 연구: 핵심기본간호술 투약간호를 중심으로 (A convergence study on the experience of applying the self-directed practice reciprocal peer tutoring: Focusing on medication nursing of fundamental core nursing skills)

  • 본 연구의 목적은 상호동료 교수법을 적용한 핵심기본간호술 자율실습(투약단원을 중심으로)이 간호대학생의 학습에 미치는 영향을 심층적으로 이해하기 위함이다. 연구참여자는 간호학과 4학년 학생 15명이었으며, 심층면담을 통해 자료를 수집하였다. 수집된 자료를 분석한 결과, '학습동기 유발', '자기주도 학습', '성취도 향상', '학습요구 불충족'의 4개의 주제가 도출되었다. 상호동료 교수법을 적용한 핵심기본간호술 자율실습은 참여자들에게 편안한 환경과 자신감 향상으로 학습동기를 유발하고, 주도적인 사전학습 및 학습자의 언어로 학습할 기회를 얻는 긍정적인 경험이 있었다. 하지만, 추가적인 지식확장이 어렵고 충분하지 않은 학습요구로 불안감을 느끼는 경험도 있었다. 이에 상호동료 교수법을 자율실습에 적용할 때, 교수자는 학습자의 학습요구를 충분히 만족시키는 방안을 적용하면 효과적일 것으로 생각된다.

의과대학 선택교육과정의 운영절차와 만족도 평가 (Evaluation of Process and Satisfaction for Selective Courses in a Medical School)

  • The necessity of embracing selective courses in medical curriculum is increasing due to the expansion of medical knowledge and changes in the health care environment. In contrast to the abundant evidence regarding elective or selective courses during the clinical phase, articles focusing on the preclinical period are relatively scarce. This study aims to explore the development, implementation, and evaluation of newly-adopted selective courses in the first-year medical curriculum in a medical school which recently underwent a major curricular revision. First of all, the Curriculum Committee established goals and operating principles of the courses, and then the committee encouraged all participating professors to attend a related faculty development workshop after finalizing the list of courses. A survey was conducted at the end of each course for evaluation. Of the 36 courses opened in 2016, the overall satisfaction of students was $4.98{\pm}1.06$ (out of 6) and showed a strong correlation with students' previous expectations, reasoning- and participation-oriented teaching, and outcome of the courses including increased motivation. In the open-ended responses, students and professors described not only intended outcomes such as acquisition of medical knowledge and increased interest in new topics, but also unintended outcomes including positive impression for selective courses and even high satisfaction and rewarding experiences, especially from the teachers' perspective. Although long-term outcomes remain to be seen, the results of this study show the feasibility and impact of selective courses and will contribute to effective implementation in other medical schools.

한지 작품을 통한 언택트 시대의 소통과 함의 - 본인의 작품을 중심으로 (Communication and Implications of the Untact Era through Hanji Works - Focusing on Moon-jung's Art -)

  • 본 연구의 목적은 코로나 19의 타의적인 상황으로 인간관계 및 소통이 단절되어 버린 상황에 대처하기 위한 새로운 소통방법으로서 연구자가 전통적인 한지 재료를 이용하여 소통과 관계를 목적으로 창작한 작품에 대한 해석을 통해 언택트 시대에 소통을 위한 함의가 무엇인지를 알아보고자 함에 있다. 본 연구는 연구자의 경험, 지식, 직관적인 통찰을 통해 계랑화가 어려운 연구자의 동기, 의도, 의미에 대한 심층적 해석방법을 사용했다. 한국의 전통미를 대표하는 한지 재료를 이용하여 인관관계와 소통을 목적으로 창작 전시했던 작품과 해석을 통한 함의는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 코로나 19와 같은 언택트 시대의 한계 상황 극복을 통해 인간관계와 소통을 위해 전통 재료를 활용하는 창작 활동은 상호 이해하기와 의미 찾기에 도움이 된다. 둘째, 동일한 민족과 언어, 공간에서 사람들 간의 관계 형성과 소통을 위한 전통 재료의 활용 방안은 공동인식을 형성하는 매개체가 될 수 있다. 본 연구 결과는 재난재해 상황에서 발생하는 인간관계와 소통에 대한 연구에서 기초자료로 활용과 확대를 위한 동기를 제공할 것이다.
