Discoid meniscus is an uncommon cause of internal derangement of the knee joint. The discoid medial meniscus is much less common than the discoid lateral meniscus. A 15-year-old male student had a incomplete discoid medial meniscus of right knee combined with a horizontal tear. This was confirmed by magnetic resonance imaging(MRI) and arthroscopic procedure. Partial meniscectomy was performed arthroscopically. An unevenful recovery followed. We report a case of discoid medial meniscus with brief review of literature.

Meniscal allograft transplantation is considered to restore important functions of the meniscus after total and subtotal meniscectomy. There are patients who need meniscal allograft transplantation have concomitant lesions; chronic anterior cruciate ligament tear, chondral defect, and malalignment of the knee. Therefore proper selection of the patients and thorough preparation of operative procedure are imperative to get satisfactory results.

Pseudoaneurysm with arteriovenous fistula is a rare complication of arthroscopy, and can be diagnosed by ultrasonography, computed tomography, magnetic resonance imaging, or angiography. This condition can be treated with open surgical repair or endovascular repair. We report our experience with the open surgical repair of a pseudoaneurysm with an arteriovenous fistula in a young male patient who underwent arthroscopy five months previously.

Although the lateral discoid meniscus of the knee has been observed frequently, the medial discoid meniscus has very rarely been reported in the literature. A 22-year-old female patient was diagnosed as having a medial discoid meniscus with horizontal tear by means of magnetic resonance image and arthroscopy. The patient was treated by arthroscopic partial meniscectomy.

Irreducible traumatic knee dislocation is rare. The knee dislocation is classified depending on the incarcerated structures. Complete reduction is achieved by extracting the incarcerated structure. Several reports introduce the reduction of irreducible traumatic knee dislocation by open surgery or arthroscopy. This case describes irreducible posterolateral knee dislocation with interposition of the vastus medialis. Closed reduction failed in the emergency room, and complete reduction was attained by arthroscopically sectioning the muscle and fascia of the vastus medialis in the intercondylar notch.
