Influences of Co and inhibitors from nano-sized WC materials were observed in the sintering process. VC and $Cr_3C_2$ were used as inhibitors. The crystal structure and surface images of sintered nano-sized WC materials, as functions of Co and inhibitors, were evaluated by XRD and FE-SEM analyses. The relative densities of sintered nano-sized WC materials did not change even with increased quantity of Co and increased temperature. The density of sintered nano-sized WC materials with inhibitors was lower than that of sintered nano-sized WC materials without inhibitors. No difference in hardness due to change of inhibitors was found.

For a maneuvering unmanned autonomous helicopter, it is necessary to design a proper controller of each flight mode. In this paper, overall helicopter dynamics is derived and hovering model is linearized and transformed into a state equation form. However, since it is difficult to obtain parameters of stability derivatives in the state equation directly, a linear control model is derived by time-domain parametric system identification method with real flight data of the model helicopter. Then, two different controllers - a linear feedback controller with proportional gains and a robust controller - are designed and their performance is compared. Both proposed controllers show outstanding results by computer simulation. These validated controllers can be used to autonomous flight controller of a real unmanned model helicopter.

The objective of this study is to evaluate snowmelt impact on watershed hydrology using climate change scenarios on Soyanggang-dam and Chungju-dam watershed. SLURP model was used for analyzing hydrological changes based on climate changes. The results (in years 2050 and 2100) of climate changes scenarios was CCCma CGCM2 of SRES suggested by IPCC and the snow cover map and snow depth was derived from NOAA/AVHRR images. The model was calibrated and verified for dam inflow data from 1998 to 2001.

This paper describes the mechanism of information processing in the nervous system through neuron pool model which is consisted of six single neural models. In the neuron pool model, summation characteristic of stimulus satisfies those of real nervous system and output impulse rate increases linearly to the input stimulus. Occlusion phenomena of the neuron pool model is approached to those of real nervous system and also if the threshold potential within sutlirninal fringe is increased, facilitation phenomena appreared. Therefore, the results of this study suggest that we can construct large neuron pool with many single neural models and verify the mechanism of information processing in the wide part of nervous system.

Without exception, diverse LULU(Locally Unwanted Land Use) facilities have been under the location conflict, especially between the public government units and local residents. In spite of repeated trials-and-errors, literally, the location conflict has shown no sign of improvement over time in Korea. As practical means to tackle these issues, this study focuses on divulging explicit and implicit relationships among key factors derived from the location conflict on the LULU facilities. Here, major research variables cover residents' agreement, residents' perception, compensation expectation, and public opinion. As the location conflict on the LULU facilities could be strengthened or resolved by the dynamic feedback system, it applies basic tools geared toward causal loop diagramming. After repeated experiments, the study highlights the fact that the residents' perception, compensation expectation, and public opinion, individually and collectively, exert significant impact on the residents' agreement ratio.

본 연구는 우리나라 강원도 북동부 산지유역의 봄철 하천유출량에 영향을 주는 융설에 관련하여, 장기 유출 모형의 융설 모의시 융설 관련 매개변수 추정 및 정량화에 기본이 피는 적설 분포 지역 및 적설심 추출기법을 제시하였다. NOAA/AVHRR 위성영상을 이용하여 소양강 유역에 대하여 2002년 11월부터 2003년 3월까지의 적설분포를 추출한 후, 추출 결과와 유역 인근 7개 기상관측소의 최심적설심 자료와의 중첩을 통하여 적설심을 추출하였다.

융설 모형을 이용하여 융설 기간 동안의 하천유출량을 모의하기 위해서는 융설 관련 매개변수의 정립이 반드시 필요하다. 우리나라의 경우 관측 자료의 부족으로 인하여 적설분포, 적설심, 적설면적감소곡선과 같은 융설 관련 매개변수의 추출이 불가능 하였다. 본 연구에서는 1997년부터 2003년까지의 겨울철(11월-4월) NOAA/AVHRR 위성영상을 이용하여 한반도의 적설분포도를 추출하고 기상청의 69개소 유인지상기상관측소의 기상자료 중 최심적설심 자료로서 공간내삽법을 통하여 동일한 기간의 최심적설심 분포도를 작성한 후 적설분포도와 중첩하여 남한의 적설심 분포도를 추출하였다. 또한, 적설면적감소곡선은 소양강댐과 충주댐 유역으로 대상으로 평균기온과 적설면적과의 상관관계로부터 각 연도별 선형회귀식을 추출하여 적설면적감소곡선을 작성하였다.

휴전검토는 계통의 안정적인 운영과 신뢰도에 직접적으로 영향을 줄 수 있어 매우 중요한 업무라할 수 있다. 본 논문에서는 이러한 휴전검토 업무를 체계적이고 효율적으로 수행할 수 있는 휴전검토 종합시스템의 역할을 간단히 소개하고, 구성요소 중 하나인 휴전 일정 관리 및 검토 프로그램 설계에 대해 설명하고자 한다.

국내 전력계통에 대한 검토는 주로 PSS/E를 이용하여 수행되고 있으며, 검토된 내용은 문서형태로 작성되어 보관되고 있다. 따라서, 한 번 검토된 내용을 다시 모의해보거나 활용하기 위해서는 계통검토자가 기존에 작성된 문서를 참조해서 수동으로 재모의 해보는 방법밖에 없었다. 본 논문에서는 상정사고에 대한 조치사항 수립 시 계통 검토자가 검토한 내용을 DB로 저장해서 필요한 경우에 다시 조치사항을 반복 적용해볼 수 있는 계통검토 및 입력프로그램에 대해 기술한다. 이를 위해서 본 논문에서는 상정사고시 조치방안을 저장할 수 있는 데이터베이스 설계와 계통검토자가 PSS/E에 입력한 사항을 분석할 수 있는 모듈과 이를 DB에 입력하는 모듈에 관해 기술한다. 또한 기존 검토된 조치방안을 새로운 계통에 적용하는 방법에 대해 기술한다.
