  • The purpose of this study is to discover the changes and characteristis of modern knitwears from the 1920's to the 1990's. The result of this study is as follows: The popular knitwears in the 1920's had a simple boxy-line and modern unisex image with a sporty look. The knitwears in the 1930's-1950's had seen more short, feminine detail and texture, fit silhouette with syntheyic fibers. In the 1960's, the knitwears of sporty look and unisex style was popularized by young peaples, and crochet with handkniting by the fiber artists was popularized. In the 1970's-80's, the layered looks and unisex styles of knitwears were popularized by influence of a ecology mood and a woman movemant. And various patterns was developed with the computer machine. The items of outer knitwear was increased by the use of fancy yarns and the knitwears as the total fashion was popularized. In the 1990s, the knitwears had a very forceful characteristics by the mixed style and the technique of design developed into the post-modernism. The key words of the character of the modern knitwears are funtional pursuit, unisex, high value, hightechnique, art. By the change of the life style and the develope of technical innovation, the knitwears will be the key item to leading the fashion in the 21th.

A Linguistic Approach to Communication Strategies of Biological Systems (생물체의 정보소통전략에 대한 언어학적 접근)

  • The completion of the Human Genome Project that identified all 3 billion base pairs in the human genome can be seen as a step towards understanding the relay of information and intention within an organism, or in other words, the language of life. The faculty of human language, key to differentiating humans from other animate species, works for conveying information to others by mapping meaning to sound based on syntactic structures. This resemblance between life and language has not gone unnoticed; the literature on RNA transcription and translation research regularly uses linguistic metaphors and the biolinguistic perspective of language has also been studied. By examining the biological characteristics of language and the linguistic characteristics of life, this study aims to identify key mechanisms shared between the two systems in order to promote a stronger connection between them. It furthers this goal by pointing out two general messages to which these mechanisms aim, productivity and accuracy, and discovers what lesson these messages give to a human society geared for sustainability.

A Technique of Watermark Generation and Similarity Embedding for Still Images Based on Cross Reference Points (교차참조점에 기반한 정지영상의 워터마크 생성 및 유사성 삽입 기법)

  • The Cross Reference Point(CRP) is a robust method for finding salient points in watermarking systems because it is based on the geometrical structure of a normalized image in order to avoid pointing error caused by digital attacks. After normalization of an image, the 100 CRPs are calculated. Next, the 100 blocks centered by CRPS are formed. These 100 blocks are arranged using a secrete key. Each boundary of 50 out of 100 blocks is surrounded by 8 blocks which are selected by the ordered number of a preceding block. This number is a seed of random number generator for selecting 8 out of 50 blocks. The search area of a center block is formed by a secrete key. The pixels of a center block are quantized to 10 levels by predefined thresholds. The watermarks are generated by the 50 quantized center blocks. These watermarks are embedded directly in the remaining 50 blocks. In other words, 50 out of 100 blocks are utilized to generate watermarks and the remaining 50 blocks are used to watermark embedding. Because the watermarks are generated in the given images, we can successfully detect watermarks after several digital attacks. The reason is that the blocks for the generation and detection of watermarks are equally affected by digital attacks except for the case of local distortion such as cropping.

  • Objectives : Morning Sickness, or Nausea and Vomiting of Pregnancy(NVP) is a frequently experienced phenomenon among pregnant women whose cause is still unknown. While the key trait of this symptom is its temporality, it is hardly considered in existing studies on the cause of NVP based on Korean Medical(KM) literature. We hope to remedy this. Methods : We looked for contents on fetal development in Korean Medical literature from the Siku Quanshu as well as other key literature of KM and examined the results together with contents on NVP to find any correlation. Results : We found that the beginning stages, namely the third month marked a significant change in the course of fetal development where the fetus's own Shen(神) is first developed by work of the mother's Heart(心). In other words, the third month is when the mother's and child's Shen first encounter. Conclusions : We hypothesized that NVP whose symptoms are closely linked to the functions of the Heart, is likely to be related to this event, which was supported by the common involvement of the Heart which was involved in both fetal development and NVP during the third month of pregnancy.

A Big Data Analysis on Research Keywords, Centrality, and Topics of International Trade using the Text Mining and Social Network (텍스트 마이닝과 소셜 네트워크 기법을 활용한 국제무역 키워드, 중심성과 토픽에 대한 빅데이터 분석)

  • This study aims to analyze international trade papers published in Korea during the past 2002-2022 years. Through this study, it is possible to understand the main subject and direction of research in Korea's international trade field. As the research mythologies, this study uses the big data analysis such as the text mining and Social Network Analysis such as frequency analysis, several centrality analysis, and topic analysis. After analyzing the empirical results, the frequency of key word is very high in trade, export, tariff, market, industry, and the performance of firm. However, there has been a tendency to include logistics, e-business, value and chain, and innovation over the time. The degree and closeness centrality analyses also show that the higher frequency key words also have been higher in the degree and closeness centrality. In contrast, the order of eigenvector centrality seems to be different from those of the degree and closeness centrality. The ego network shows the density of business, sale, exchange, and integration appears to be high in order unlike the frequency analysis. The topic analysis shows that the export, trade, tariff, logstics, innovation, industry, value, and chain seem to have high the probabilities of included in several topics.

Structural configurations and dynamic performances of flexible riser with distributed buoyancy modules based on FEM simulations

  • Flexible risers are usually used as conveying systems to bring ocean resources from sea bed up to onshore. Under ocean environments, risers need to bear complex loads and it is crucial to comprehensively examine riser's configurations and to analyze structural dynamic performances under excitation of bottom vehicle motions, to guarantee structural safe operation and required service lives. In this study, considering a saddle-shaped riser, the influences of some important design parameters, including installation position of buoyancy modules, buoyancy ratio and motion of mining vehicle, on riser's configuration and response are carefully examined. Through our FEM simulations, the spatial distributions of structural tensions and curvatures along of riser length, under different configurations, are compared. Then, the impacts of mining vehicle motion on riser dynamic response are discussed, and structural tolerance performance is assessed. The results show that modules installation position and buoyancy ratio have significant impacts on riser configurations. And, an appropriate riser configuration is obtained through comprehensive analysis on the modules positions and buoyancy ratios. Under this proposed configuration, the structural tension and curvature could moderately change with buoyancy modules and bottom-end conditions, in other words, the proposed saddle-shaped riser has a good tolerance performance to various load excitations.

  • Recently, cryptocurrencies such as Ethereum and Bitcoin, which are called digital assets, Cryptocurrency has completely different characteristics from real assets and must be handled carefully and safely. But The disadvantage of digital assets is that anyone who knows the private key of the wallet can easily steal the digital assets. If the seed card is lost, stolen, or exposed when used, you can use the wallet by recovering the private key using the seed card acquired by someone else. In this paper We aim to safely protect encrypted assets by using QR codes when providing mnemonic words needed to create seed cards.

  • The fashion industry has been placing great importance on establishing and communicating brand identity in response to the rapidly changing landscape of consumer preference and media development. This study aimed to explore effective communication methodologies for building a strong brand identity for domestic designer fashion brands. To achieve this, trends in the domestic fashion industry were categorized, and key words were derived to develop three new communication methodologies through an analysis of 10 domestic brand cases. This study confirmed that a strategy that focuses on forming emotional relationships with consumers is essential for establishing brand identity. To this end, the proposed communication methodologies include the following: First, delivering sustainable messages through emotional storytelling, which is a key approach for building emotional bonds with consumers. Second, expanding the brand experience to elicit positive responses from consumers by immersing them in special situations to experience brand identity. Third, brands can enhance consumer brand loyalty by fostering continuous relationships with consumers and cultivating brand culture through omnichannel strategies that encompass both offline and online channels. Consequently, this study presents practical strategies for various fashion brands along with theoretical contributions to domestic fashion brand startups and brand identity construction. With these strategies, it is anticipated that brands will establish clear and specific content and build a stronger brand identity by engaging in diverse communication methods that offer consumers sustainable values and brand experiences.

A Study on Active Senior Travel Recognition Using ChatGPT (ChatGPT를 활용한 액티브 시니어 여행 인식 탐색 연구)

  • ChatGPT, a leading example of generative AI, is expanding the use of its LLM (Large Language Model) from traditional academic fields such as literature and creative writing to practical areas like management, tourism, and media. This study was conducted with active seniors to analyze their perceptions of travel and tourism, identifying key areas of interest and specific details. ChatGPT was utilized as an analytical tool in major areas of the study, providing suggestions for key findings.The research findings are as follows: First, terms closely associated with active senior travel include retirement, together, service, consumption, leisure, health, life, hobby, culture, generation, platform, wellness, and program. Second, centrality analysis showed that words like service, leisure, and together had high degrees of centrality and closeness centrality, while terms such as health, domestic, culture, activity, program, and life had high closeness centrality. Third, based on the CONCOR analysis with suggestions from ChatGPT, two clusters were identified: 'Retirement and Lifestyle' and 'Senior Services and Platforms'. Based on the research findings, practical implications for active senior travel were identified, along with academic implications for the field of tourism studies.

A Study of the Consumer Major Perception of Packaging Using Big Data Analysis -Focusing on Text Mining and Semantic Network Analysis- (빅데이터 분석을 통한 패키징에 대한 소비자의 주요 인식 조사 -텍스트 마이닝과 의미연결망 분석을 중심으로-)

  • The purpose of this study is to investigate the consumer perception of packaging using big data analysis. This study use text mining to extract meaningful words from text and semantic network analysis to analyze connectivity and propagation trends. Data were collected by dividing the 'packaging(Korean)' and 'packaging(English)'. This study visualized the word network structure of the two key words and classified them into four groups with similar meaning through CONCOR analysis. The group name was specified based on the words constituting the classified group. These groups are a major category of consumers' perception of packaging. Especially cosmetics and design have high frequency of words and high centrality. Therefore it can be expected that the packaging design is perceived as important in the cosmetics industry. This study predicts consumers' perception of packaging so it can be a basis for future research and industry development.
