The Influence of Agile Management on the Competence of the Personnel of the Socio-Economic System in the Digital Economy

  • The main purpose of the study is to analyze the features of the influence of Agile management on the competence of the personnel of the socio-economic system in the digital economy. The research methodology implies the use of modern methods of analysis. Improving the business processes of an organization is associated with improving activities, the formation of effective management systems and processes, especially the organization's policy in the field of quality, rational use of resources, increasing the responsibility of management, social responsibility of the organization, etc. The modern knowledge economy places high demands on the effectiveness of behavioral models of employees of the organization. The role of the human factor in the production system is becoming more and more obvious. Therefore, it is important to study the competence of the personnel of any socio-economic system. Based on the results of the study, the key features of the influence of Agile management on the competence of the personnel of the socio-economic system in the digital economy were identified.

해양플랜트산업 경쟁력 강화를 위한 조선기자재산업 고도화에 관한 연구 (A Study on Accelerating Marine Equipments Industry for Enforcing Competitiveness of the Offshore Plants Industry)

  • This study attempted an AHP analysis through interview with experts in the industries and questionnaire survey on recognition of organization members and future strategic development direction in order to upgrade shipbuilding equipment industries to marine plant equipment industries. Key research results are as follows. First, according to analysis on relative priority between three aspects on acceleration of shipbuilding equipment industries, importance was shown in the order of acceleration of internal competence, acceleration of manufacturing technology, and acceleration of supply chain, which means that the aspect on acceleration of internal competence had relatively higher importance. Second, as for relative importance of detailed item evaluation per respective aspect, it was found that development of core competencies was high from the aspect on acceleration of internal competence, higher value-addition was high from the aspect on acceleration of manufacturing technology, and IT infrastructure construction was high from the aspect on acceleration of supply chain.

Education satisfaction and self-assessment of competency among new general dentists in Korea

  • Dental education is gradually transitioning to competency-based education system, which aims to help dentists achieve certain core competencies by means of various systems, such as curriculum accreditation. This study examined satisfaction with dental school education and the differences in the perceived importance and self-assessment of competencies among general dentists, in an attempt to propose a desirable direction for dental education. A questionnaire was administered to new general dentists who graduated from a dental school within the past 10 years. The results of the survey were analyzed using the Importance-Performance Analysis to understand differences in dentists' perceptions. Overall satisfaction with education was low in terms of the curriculum's relevance to actual practice and its capacity for cultivating required competencies. Furthermore, many of the respondents strongly perceived the need to improve dental education. Additional investigations into the satisfaction with education showed no difference. Among the seven key competency domains, dentists perceived Health Promotion to be important and also assessed themselves as having high competence. However, regarding the perceived importance of the remaining domains, self-assessment of competence was low for Professionalism, Communication & Interpersonal Skills, Knowledge Base, Information Handling & Critical Thinking, Clinical Information Gathering, Diagnosis & Treatment Planning, and Establishment & Maintenance of Oral Health. The results of this study suggest that a competency-based education model should be developed and incorporated into dental education to set performance standards and to promote systematic self-assessment in order to foster the development of competence in dental students.

핀란드 가정과 교육과정의 역량 기반 교육과정 사례 연구 (A Case Study on Competence-based Curriculum in Finnish Secondary Home Economics Curriculum)

  • 본 연구는 역량 기반 교육과정으로 개정된 핀란드의 가정과 교육과정 사례를 분석함으로써 시사점을 탐색하는 데 목적을 두었으며 연구결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 핀란드의 가정 교과는 7~9학년군에 속해 있으며 학습영역은 '식품 지식 및 기능, 음식 문화', '주거 및 더불어 살기', '가정에서의 소비자 및 재무 기능'으로 통합적 접근방식을 취하고 있었다. 둘째, 핀란드 교육과정에서 가정 교과역량은 따로 설정되어 있지 않으나 총론에서 횡단적 역량의 목표를 제시하고 7~9학년군별로 강조하고 있어 횡단적 역량과 교과와의 연계성을 강화하고 있었다. 셋째, 핀란드 가정 교과의 내용체계는 학습기능, 학습내용, 횡단적 역량을 상호 연결하는 구성으로 설계되었으며, 수업목표와 교과역량의 역할을 하는 학습의 기능을 연결하여 역량의 성취를 강화하고 있었다. 넷째, 가정 교과의 평가는 지식과 기능을 활용한 실제 수행능력을 평가하고자 하였으며 교과 지식과 역량의 성취를 평가하는 기준은 수행 중심의 진술형태로 제시하였다. 본 연구를 통해 알 수 있는 핀란드의 교육과정의 중요한 특징은 학습자의 지식, 태도, 역량의 성취를 위한 교사 역할을 강조하는 교육제도의 유연성과 개인의 고유성을 장려하는 것으로 이를 통해 교사의 책무성과 학습자의 성취를 높이고자 하였다. 가정과 교육과정에서 역량의 구현을 강화하기 위해서는 가정 교과에서 지식과 역량을 함양할 수 있는 통합적 연결이 필요하며, 교과역량을 구현할 수 있는 교육과정 체계, 배우기 위한 학습으로서의 평가와 학교 및 교사의 교육공동체를 통한 더 깊은 협력이 요구된다.

소년원보호소년의 사회적 유대가 자기유능감에 미치는 영향: 자아존중감의 매개효과를 중심으로 (The Effects of Social Bonding on Self-Competence of Juvenile Inmates: Focused on Mediating Effect of Self-Esteem)

  • 본 연구는 소년원보호소년의 사회적 유대가 자기유능감에 미치는 영향을 파악하고, 사회적 유대와 자기유능감 간의 관계에서 자아존중감의 매개효과를 검증할 목적으로 수행되었다. 이를 위해 본 연구에서는 한국청소년정책연구원의 2015년 청소년 기업가 정신 함양 및 창업활성화 방안 연구 II의 횡단조사 자료를 토대로 소년원보호소년 총 908명을 대상으로 단계적 중다회귀분석을 실시하였다. 연구 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 소년원보호소년의 사회적 유대는 자기유능감에 직접적인 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 소년원보호소년의 사회적 유대가 자아존중감에 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 셋째, 소년원보호소년의 자아존중감은 자기유능감에 유의한 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 마지막으로, 소년원보호소년의 사회적 유대가 자기유능감에 미치는 영향에서 자아존중감의 매개효과를 검증하였다. 이러한 결과를 바탕으로 소년원보호소년의 자기유능감 및 사회적유대와 자아존중감 증진 방안에 대한 이론적 근거를 제시하고 후속연구를 위한 함의를 제안하였다.

청소년의 정서조절능력과 삶의 만족도와의 관계에서 대인관계역량의 매개효과 (The Mediating Effects of Interpersonal Competence on the Relationship between Emotion Regulation and Life Satisfaction of Adolescents)

  • 본 연구는 청소년의 정서조절능력이 삶의 만족도에 미치는 영향을 파악하고, 정서조절능력과 삶의 만족도 간의 관계에서 대인관계역량의 매개효과를 검증하고자 수행되었다. 이를 위해 본 연구에서는 한국청소년정책연구원의 2015년 청소년 역량지수 측정 및 국제비교 연구II의 횡단조사 데이터를 토대로 중학생 총 3,404명을 대상으로 2차 자료 분석을 실시하였다. 본 연구의 주요 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 청소년의 정서조절능력은 삶의 만족도에 유의미한 영향을 주는 요인으로 나타났다. 둘째, 청소년의 정서조절능력이 대인관계역량에 유의미한 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 셋째, 청소년의 대인관계역량은 삶의 만족도에 직접적인 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 마지막으로, 청소년의 정서조절능력이 삶의 만족도에 미치는 영향에서 대인관계역량의 매개효과를 검증하였다. 이러한 결과를 바탕으로 청소년의 삶의 만족도 및 정서조절능력과 대인관계역량 증진에 필요한 개입 방안을 제시하였다.

Checkpoint-inhibition in ovarian cancer: rising star or just a dream?

  • The introduction of checkpoint inhibitors revolutionized immuno-oncology. The efficacy of traditional immunotherapeutics, like vaccines and immunostimulants was very limited due to persistent immune-escape strategies of cancer cells. Checkpoint inhibitors target these escape mechanisms and re-direct the immune system to anti-tumor toxicity. Phenomenal results have been reported in entities like melanoma, where no other therapy was able to demonstrate survival benefit, before the introduction of immunotherapeutics. The first experience in ovarian cancer (OC) was reported for nivolumab, a fully human anti-programmed cell death protein 1 (PD1) antibody, in 2015. While the data are extraordinary for a mono-immunotherapeutic agent and very promising, they do not match up to the revolutionary results in entities like melanoma. The key to exceptional treatment response in OC, could be the identification of the most immunogenic patients. We hypothyse that BRCA mutation could be a predictor of improved response in OC. The underlying DNA-repair-deficiancy should result in increased immunogenicity because of higher mutational load and more neoantigen presentation. This hypothesis was not tested to date and should be subject to future trials. The present article gives an overview of the immunologic background of checkpoint inhibition (CI). It presents current data on nivolumab and other checkpoint-inhibitors in solid tumors and OC specifically and depicts important topics in the management of this novel substance group, such as side effect control, diagnostic PD-1/programmed cell death-ligand 1 (PD-L1) expression assessment and management of pseudoprogression.

Formation of Research Competence Using Innovative Technologies to Improve the Quality of Training Future Specialists

  • Analyzing the psychological and pedagogical literature, we showed the interest of researchers in the problem posed. The concept of competence is considered, which is interpreted as giving the key to solving a wide range of educational and life tasks. Research competence implies the ability to cooperate, enter into contacts, readiness for changes, for self-determination and is an integral quality of the individual, expressed in the readiness and ability to independently search for solutions to new problems and creative transformation of reality based on a set of personal and meaningful knowledge, skills, methods of activity and value attitudes.The article offers conditions that certify the improvement of forms and methods of training students in the formation of research competence of future specialists. The use of innovative technologies contributes to improving the level of training of future specialists: students are better prepared for classes, take an active part in the assimilation of program material in laboratory classes. It is noted that this creates a subject-subject relationship between the student and the teacher, and changes the attitude of students to classes. In the process of such organization of educational activities, students are convinced of the need for knowledge and its effectiveness, learn to compare, generalize, classify, establish cause-and-effect relationships, express opinions, defend their point of view, they ensure success in their studies, and develop research competence. It is proved that in order to apply the latest technologies, the teacher himself must know them well, that is, constantly improve himself, master new methods, techniques, ideas, which will help him create new pedagogical technologies and implement them in the educational process.

정보기술 역량과 신제품 성공 요인간의 관계 (The Relationship between IT Capability and the Key Success Factors for New Product Competitive Advantages)

  • The success of new product is a key factor for getting competitive advantages. Marketing research has been investigating marketing capability, manufacturing technical capability, cross-functional integration, market knowledge competence, and competitive environment as the key success factors of new product advantage. Recently, the role of IT capability in enhancing new product advantage is assumed in the literature. However, the empirical studies on the role of IT capability are lacking. The purpose of this study is to identify the effects of IT capability on new product competitive advantages and the relationship between IT capability and the key success factors for new product advantage. Conducting an empirical field study, the IT capability is shown to have a direct effect on new product competitive advantages, and to be also the key success factor to make up for marketing capability and manufacturing technical capability. This study develops a conceptual model on the role of IT capability in enhancing new product competitive advantages by integrating marketing research and IS research.

수산·해운계 고등학교 학생의 직업기초능력 요소 개발 (A Development of the Elements on Occupational Basic Competencies of Fisheries and Maritime High School Students)

  • The aims of this study are to analysis the elements associated with a occupational basic competencies of fisheries and maritime high school students. Fisheries & maritime key competencies were defined as the abilities that include the essential knowledge, skills, attitude, and experiences required for the workforce on the fisheries and maritime job condition. This research collected preliminary data from 177 fisheries & maritime high school teachers. Data were analyzed to obtain item quality, reliability and validity analysis. The results of the study were as follows; First, largely, fisheris & maritime key competencies were divided into two parts; basic vocational skills and fisheries-maritime job skills. Second, fisheries & maritime key competencies were consisted of communicative competence, numeracy skills, thinking skills, English communication skills, self-management skills, interpersonal competency, selection & application of alternative, marine technology & information skills, marine consciousness and maritime professional ethics. Third, each key competency consisted of 2-9 sub-competencies.
