칸트의 '최고선'을 윤리론과 도덕종교론 내에 위치시키려면, 칸트의 '최고선'을 두 가지 한정된 의미로 이해할 수밖에 없다. 첫째는, 이성적 존재자의 덕행과 그의 윤리성에 정비례하는 만큼의 행복을 요소로 갖는 최고선이다. 이러한 의미의 최고선에서 행복은 그 행복을 누릴 품격인 각자의 윤리성의 정도에 따라 다소와 증감이 있을 것이고, 그러니까 완벽한 것이라 할 수는 없으되, 감성세계에서도 가능한 것이라 하겠다. 만약 자연운행과 윤리질서를 조화시키는 신의 현존을 전제할 수 있다면 말이다. 둘째는, (문자 그대로) 이성적 존재자의 내적 도덕법칙과의 온전한 부합과 그에 상응하는 완벽한 복, 즉 지복(至福) 내지 정복(淨福)을 요소로 갖는 최고선이다. 이러한 최고선은 신의 현존과 함께 영혼의 불사성을 전제하고서 예지세계에서나 기대할 수 있는 것으로, 앞서의 물리적 행복을 성분으로 갖는, 그러니까 제한된 의미에서의 최고선의 '이상(理想)'이라 하겠다. 이제 '가능한'을 '실현 가능한'으로 새기면 '가능한 세계의 최고선'은 첫째 의미로서일 것이다. 이 최고선은 한낱 "예지 세계에서의 최고선"이 아니라 "이 세계에서의 최고선"이다. 물론 이 세계에서의 최고선, 곧 행복과 덕의 부합 가능성을 위해서 우리는 "하나의 보다 높고 도덕적이고, 최고로 신성하며 전능한 존재자를 상정하지 않을 수 없다." 윤리적 행실과 행복은 모두 자연 세계에서 일어나는 일인 만큼, 이 양자가 합치하기 위해서는 "자연의 원인(따라서 창시자)인 존재자, 다시 말해 신"이 전제되지 않을 수 없으니 말이다. 그래서 칸트는 사람들은 예지계인 하늘나라와 같은 '최선의 세계'가 땅에서도 이루어질 것을 발원한다고 ${\ll}$성서${\gg}$를 이끌어 해석한다. 모든 선량한 마음씨를 가진 이들의 소망은, "신의 나라가 오고, 그의 뜻이 지상에서 이루어지는 것"이다. 다만 우리는 "그의 나라를 현실에서 현시하기 위해서 신이 무엇을 직접적으로 행하는가를 알지 못한다. 그러나 우리는 우리를 그 나라의 성원으로 적합하게 만들기 위해서 우리가 무엇을 해야만 하는가는 충분히 아는 바이다." 그것은 각자가 윤리적 의무를 다 해야 하고, 그리고 더불어 윤리적 공동체를 세우는 일이다. 그러니까 윤리적 공동체는 '목적들의 나라'와 같은 한낱 이상적인 것이 아니라, "지상에 실존"하는 것으로서, 인간들의 기구이고 제도이다.

The purposes of this study was to find aesthetical-ethical paradigm of care ethics by understanding the unique moral character of care as an art and to suggest the optimal direction of nursing ethics. Method: This study used meaning-heuristic and -interpretive methods of hermeneutics based on philosophical aesthetic theory; Baumgarten's aesthetics, Schiller's theory of aesthetical education and Kant's theory of aesthetical judgement. Result: The concept of care implied aesthetical and ethical character; caring as an art was related to moral feeling based on human dignity und emotional communication in interpersonal-relationship. Caring as an art was interpreted as a moral ideal for the promotion of the humanity und the interaction in personal-relationship according to nursing theories. Philosophical aesthetics could provide the theoretical base for the interpretation of caring as an art. The proper paradigm of care ethics in nursing could be found in character-trait ethics and communication ethics according to the philosophical aesthetics. Conclusion: This study could show aesthetical-ethical paradigm of care ethics in nursing by the heuristic interpretation of caring as an art according to the philosophical aesthetics

The sublime as one of categories of aesthetics has given a great influence over art. Particularly, painters of Color-field Abstract, which can be considered as the art of the sublime, have tried to sublimate their art to the level of spirituality through expression of sublimity. The purpose of this study is to grasp distinctive peculiarities of sublimity expressed by Rothko, a Color-field painter, in his architectural work, Rothko Chapel, and manifested by Feldman through his musical piece, also titled Rothko Chapel, respectively.In conclusion, it is found that sublimity was expressed in both works through ‘immobile procession’ corresponding to ‘dualism’ of the sublime as Kant defined. More specifically, it is clarified that such immobility was expressed through the attributes of the sublime as suggested by Burke, and they implied dualism.

Prolyl 4 hydroxylases (P4H) are iron- and 2-oxoglutamate-dependent dioxygenase enzymes and hypoxia-inducible transcription factor (HIF)-P4Hs play a critical role in the regulating oxygen homeostasis in the local tissues as well in the systemic circulation. Over a period of time, a number of prolyl hydroxylase inhibitors and activators have been developed. By employing the pharmacological tools and transgenic knock out animals, the critical role of these enzymes has been established in the pathophysiology of number of diseases including myocardial infarction, congestive heart failure, stroke, neurodegeneration, inflammatory disease, respiratory diseases, retinopathy and others. The present review discusses the different aspects of these enzymes including their pathophysiological role in disease development.

Developing tailor made Multimedia courseware ensuring effective implementation of instruction strategies is a challenge that manifests in myriad problems of software design and coding. In this paper an attempt has been made to analyse and identify coding and implementation problems, in the backdrop of using two different multimedia software development tools i.e. Visual Basic and Toolbook, which underpin the development and effectiveness of use of multimedia courseware. Solutions to such problems have been discussed in context of Tool book. The examples presented in this paper are based on the experience of designing and implementation of two large scale professional quality Multimedia courseware development projects.

The major purpose of this study is to show the insufficiency of traditional epistemology and consructivism as epistemology of mathematics education. Traditional epistemology such as empiricism, rationalism, Kant's epistemology, and Piaget's genetic epistemology is not sufficient to explain episteme in educational situation because it regards that epsteme is the phenomenon occurs between the abstract individual subject and the object world. Modern epistemology like constructivism recognize the public or social character of epsteme. So it is more appreciate than traditional epistemology to explain episteme in math educational situation. But constructivist pedagogy derived from constructivist learning theory has the following important shortcoming: The lack of clear criteria by which instructional effectiveness might be evaluated from a constructivist perspective.

The subject of 'Emotional Design' is appeared recently as one of the important issues in design field. 'Emotion', which has been underestimated since Kant and should be reevaluated from now on, is one of the basic two elements with reason which constitutes human nature. The purpose of this study is to research emotional design method appeared in the works of Steven Holl who is considered one of the influencing architects because of his unique methodology in developing the emotional design. The results of this study are as follows; 1) Emotional aspects were implied in his concepts by the way of emphasis on phenomenology in dealing with question of perception. 2) Emotional aspects were interwoven in his form and space as related to his concept. 3) Emotional aspects were shown in his way of developing his ideas with water coloring, in deriving his concept from other genre(especially from literature) and in the articulation of details. As a result, his unique way of implying emotional aspects which is coming from in-depth research of human nature as well as his own instinct were all interwoven in concept, form, and space together as a total way of thinking.

India has maximum genetic materials in early cauliflower, which grow in subtropical conditions. Different disease parameters like linear growth, maximum growth rate per day, AUDPC, apparent infection rate and percent diseased area were calculated in artificially inoculated plants. Apparent infection rate is not co-related with the black rot disease incidence and should never be considered during characterization of disease resistance and varietal screening. Based on the above disease parameters Kunwari-18, Phool Gobhi Kunwari, Kataki-7 and BT-10-2 were selected as moderately resistance to black rot in early cauliflower. These lines can be used for black rot prone area and also for black rot disease improvement programme. Considering the qualitative and quantitative parameters, slow rotting resistance cauliflower lines are selected as such for cultivation and would be best suited in integrated disease programme.

Synthesis of N-(1H-benzimidazol-2-yl)-6-substituted-1,3-benzothiazol-2-amines and 6-substituted-N-(4,5-dihydro-1H-imidazol-2-yl)-1,3-benzothiazol-2-amines by the reaction of substituted 2-aminobenzothiazoles with carbon disulphide and methyl iodide followed by the reaction with o-phenylene diamine/ethylene diamine are reported. All the synthesized compounds were characterized by elemental analysis, IR spectra and $^1H$ NMR spectral studies. The potent antibacterial and entomological (antifeedant, acaricidal, contact toxicity and stomach toxicity) activities of the synthesized compounds were investigated.

A nondifferentiable nonlinear semi-infinite programming problem is considered, where the functions involved are ${\eta}$-semidifferentiable type I-preinvex and related functions. Necessary and sufficient optimality conditions are obtained for a nondifferentiable nonlinear semi-in nite programming problem. Also, a Mond-Weir type dual and a general Mond-Weir type dual are formulated for the nondifferentiable semi-infinite programming problem and usual duality results are proved using the concepts of generalized semilocally type I-preinvex and related functions.
