  • In 2000, Song. et. al. firstly proposed the Searchable Keyword Encryption System that treated a problem to search keywords on encrypted data. Since then, various Searchable Keyword Encryption Systems based on symmetric and asymmetric methods have been proposed. However, the Searchable Keyword Encryption Systems based on public key system has a problem that the index size for searching keywords on encrypted data increases linearly according to the number of keyword. In this paper, we propose the method that reduces the index size of Searchable Keyword Encryption based on public key system using Bloom Filter, apply the proposed method to PEKS(Public key Encryption with Keyword Search) that was proposed by Boneh. et. al., and analyze efficiency for the aspect of storage.

  • This paper delineates the applied thermal environmental test profiles using test conditions and procedures based on MIL-STD-810 Method 501 (High Temperature Test Method) and Method 502 (Low Temperature Test Method). The test profiles have been optimized in order to comply with export customer's requirements and product reliability in high and low temperature environment for XKT-1 (KT-1 Export Version) aircraft. Additionally, the tests are suitable for large sized environmental chambers, which is one of the facilities of ADD (Agency for Defense Development) according to ETEMP (Environmental Test and Evaluation Master Plan). The results of these test profiles and test executions satisfy the customer requirements and product reliability. The present paper can be applied to the other export programs with more severe temperature conditions.

  • Background: The application of Kinesio tape (KT) has become an alternative treatment for the reduction of edema owing to its distinct characteristics that mimic skin behavior. Although many studies have found that KT application has a positive effect on edema related to breast cancer and rehabilitation following mandibular third molar surgery, there is little evidence to support the use of KT for musculoskeletal injuries. Objects: The purpose of this study was to review the literature related to KT application for reducing edema caused by musculoskeletal disorders. Methods: A literature search (July 2022) was performed on PubMed for articles published between January 2012 and June 2022. The following keywords were used: "Kinesio taping," "Kinesio tape," "swelling," and "edema," with different combinations and derivations. Only articles available in English were included in this study. Results: Among 68 identified studies, seven met our search strategy and criteria and were included in the literature review. Five of these studies investigated musculoskeletal disorders of the knee joint; two of them reported that KT application had a positive effect on edema measured using perimetry following total knee replacement and anterior cruciate ligament reconstruction. However, the KT application did not improve swelling in patients with acute lateral ankle sprains. Pediatric patients with acute proximal phalangeal joint sprain experienced a more significant improvement in the reduction of swelling than the group using a splint. Conclusion: This literature review found discrepant evidence to support using KT for edema control in musculoskeletal disorders. Further research is needed to determine the effectiveness of KT for controlling edema following musculoskeletal injuries.

  • Most of the people in marketing area know that database marketing has been one of the most powerful marketing tools and thus database marketing industry grows bigger and bigger. For both effective database marketing and database marketing industry, personal data are the very essential resources. Unfortunately, in Korea, both database marketing and database marketing industry stays far behind compared to other countries because it is practically very hard to legally trade personal data for database marketing purpose. Instead Korea has a illegal spam problem which might be a natural consequency of strong restriction on personal data in the situation of huge demand for personal data. KT SODiS can be called the frontier of Korea's database marketing industry since it is the first legal business in this area. In the first 5 months, SODiS obtained 2 millions of legal customer consents which can be the strong base to help database marketing activities of other companies. This case shows marketing strategies of KT SODiS to establish infrastructure for Korea's database marketing industry and suggests some future tasks to further develop the industry.
